421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 18, 2023, 09:32:29 PM
Never heard of such, and even if there be, I think it's plain stupid, cus I personally will play on the casino, and if I don't Win, I will never return to pay the money, I will just go and start gambling on another casino maybe outside where I live.
Totally a stupid decision if someone who's addicted to gambling will result in this. We saw how gamblers who have gambled and then used loan money for their gambling activities, they've never been trusted again. But with such condition, I don't think the casino will just allow it without anything in return to them knowing that there are also nasty gamblers that won't pay them if they hand the money and allows them to gamble freely and easily.

@op, if what the said dude told you is true, then I think it is imperative to ask him how he came out owing a casino to the ton of 60k dollars, because I do not think there is any casino any where in this world where gambler can gamble on credit, and pay later, he possibly borrowed that money from friends, relatives somehow.
Yes, much better to ask him and it's also possible that he's just trolling him justifying that gambling with credit is such a good thing for him and just reversing the psychology on him.

Since casinos are aware of how gambling works and how debt-ridden gamblers may become, I don't believe any will permit borrowing and lending. We already know that borrowing money to gamble will never be the best option. We can't afford to lose these funds, therefore gambling with them will be a major risk.
I agree that you need to have questioned your friend because that sum is not small. If casinos made such an offer, many players would take advantage of it, causing them to suffer severe losses. If casinos ever start allowing borrowing, more gamblers will undoubtedly develop gambling addictions.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best and worse slots on: May 18, 2023, 09:16:38 PM
I have been playing a few slots lately and have had some good winnings but nothing huge yet. Most of the YouTube gamblers I watch have been playing Sweet Bonanza, so I tried it first with a minimum bonus buy of $20 and sometimesi got into the bonus after few normal spins. The maximum win I had was x7 which is x700 on the game.
I also tried Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush, and Sweet Bonanza Xmas, but I didn't like any of them. I don't know if I just got used to Sweet Bonanza or if there are other better slots out there. Could you please recommend a good slot with bonus buys and low cost, if possible?

Personally for now I would put Sweet Bonanza as the best slot and Gates of Olympus as the worst one as i never had any winning session with more than 10 bonus buys.

I don't think that there are best or worst slots, still boils down to RTP and the user experience. That's why this developers is offering us "x" theme slots because it's up to our preferences.

As for those Youtube gamblers that are winning bid, it's hard to replicate those because in the first place they have a big bankroll and they will just opt to take advantage of the buy bonus. But still though, not recipe for a good win, most of the time, either huge win or buy bonus strategy sucks as you can recoup what you have paid as the games won't give you what you expected.

Regardless of the techniques we employ, the outcome at the slots will always depend on our luck. Before, I tried to follow many tactics recommended by various influencers, but none of them were successful for me. Comparing slots will allow us to select a profitable game. We can always feel safe playing in one particular spot.
Sweet Bonanza is my go-to game since I enjoy playing with it and because of its basic features. I've had some wonderful wins in the past, but there have also been unavoidable losses. Naturally, we can't constantly succeed at the slots.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most altcoins are fake (wakanda) on: May 17, 2023, 06:28:27 PM
Every day, more and more projects and coins are being created fraudulently. so order to draw so many investors, they are even attempting to be relatable. To make their names sound catchy, they borrow them from locations, movies, fashion, and current events.
This is why it's always a good idea to do some research first so you don't fall into their traps too readily. We should be aware that scammers and fraudsters lurk everywhere and are constantly looking for unsuspecting targets, so we must always be vigilant.
Although we have no influence over scam projects, we could be informed and sensible enough to avoid them.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education or 1million dollars on: May 17, 2023, 05:48:56 PM
Financial education has always been a game changer in the financial state of a man, it is the best education a father can give to his children because once you are financially educated, it's near impossible not to be financially stable.

Have you wonder why most lottery winners have gone back to square one after winning or most rich kids losing their inheritance due to poor/bad management of funds, it's because they lack financial education.

On the other hand 1million dollars is truly a life changing amount of money but if you are not financially educated, you will lose it all on  the long run,
I don't know if anyone sees it the same way I do?

As a financial advisor by trade, I have my father to thank who taught me about finance from very early on. He instilled in me basic financial principles such as saving money, investing, keeping a budget, living within your means etc. He also taught me about stocks from very early on. I remember thinking to myself “I’ll never be able to understand the stock market fully, it’s so confusing” but he helped me to understand and now I’m a financial advisor, which makes me laugh as I now fully understand.

That said, financial education absolutely does not guarantee financial stability what so ever. So saying it’s nearly impossible, is just not true. I know plenty of financially educated individuals whom are poor savers and investors and are completely unstable financially.

Even if we are knowledgeable and educated about finances, we may still struggle to put it to use. Not simply something we should know, but something we should practice and make a habit of, is good financial management. Because I could still handle my money properly even if I received a large sum of money, if given the option, I would prefer one million dollars over financial literacy. If we don't have money or are having financial difficulties, it will be difficult to apply financial literacy but if we have enough, we will be able to apply all the financial management knowledge that we have.
I would be practical and grab that huge sum of money and be sure to manage it wisely because being financially knowledgeable won't actually make you rich.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: May 17, 2023, 04:31:34 PM
This has been an issue for me in the past, especially when I first started gambling. Even though I was aware that the deposit and withdrawal transaction would take some time, I was still too impatient. Due to my impatience, I also sustained significant losses. As a result of all those losses, I came to the conclusion that I would never succeed at gambling if I consistently lost patience.
Our patience will constantly be put to the test by transactions, especially with cryptocurrencies. Because cryptocurrency gambling necessitates constant focus and time commitment, if you lack patience, you can always expect to lose money consistently. We must also exercise patience because there is no short way to achieving the desired profit in this situation.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 17, 2023, 03:56:23 PM
I disagree, why the casino need tightening their rules and ask many thing for verification purpose?

It's pointless if you hope the gambler to not become an addict through monitoring how long they have gamble, they can just gamble on another casino to make them can gamble for 24/7, correct?

Asking a selfie pict is useless too because image can be photoshopped to make it looks legit, nowadays technology is really insane.
I think the feature that the OP recommended is useless because it's the opposite of the situation, after all people still hate KYC how can they take a selfie to identify their account to play let alone monitor gamblers play, I think the casino is enough to ask for documents and there is no need to have to add selfie photos that are clearly burdensome for gamblers too many features that are complicated regulations will be abandoned in the end.

I also think it is useless for the casinos to stop people from becoming addicts because they will still play at other casinos, it all comes down to being able to control themselves so they don't become addicts and to be responsible gamblers, moreover the casinos will be very rich if many addicts continue to gamble in their casinos.  Grin

As of now, I frequently run into casinos asking for selfies as proof that we are the owners of the documents we will be providing in order to meet their KYC standards. Avoiding identity theft will be advantageous to both them and the gambler. In terms of player activity tracking, I don't believe casinos will ever make this a priority or be able to stop their customers from gambling. Once a player develops a gambling addiction, it is up to him to decide whether or not to curb this behavior.
The only thing casinos could do is just set reminders and cautions about the consequences of excessive gambling because gambling addiction is a personal choice.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 17, 2023, 03:36:05 PM
Community feedback matters a lot to me when choosing a sportsbook or casino(FIAT and Crypto). The next thing I look for is if they only enforce KYC under certain conditions and if they actually adhere to their T&C.

Betbuilder or same game accumulator is another feature that I look for in sportsbooks since I am a big fan of them.

A sportsbook's overall performance is greatly influenced by how the local community feels about the services it offers. It might ascertain a sportsbook's reputation and provide users with guidance on whether or not to trust them. Some of them would claim to be KYC-free but would ultimately request it, and through feedback, we'd get a sense of how the sportsbook operated.
For me, the reputation of the sportsbook is typically the first thing I consider. It makes a significant point because I would learn if it is worthwhile to entrust them with my funds through it. I want to be certain that they are offering fair play devoid of anomalies.
428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 16, 2023, 09:45:55 PM
You are firstly endangering your personal data. I don't believe using a credit card as a payment option on online casinos is always secure. Your personal information could be compromised, thus it is best to utilize another payment method if you can.
Regardless of whatever bonuses or promotions you may be receiving, borrowing money to gambling is not a good idea. You should get rid of it because there is a high likelihood that you may succumb to temptation or be constantly drawn to gambling. Use only the money that you can afford to lose when you gamble.
429  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 16, 2023, 09:07:34 PM
We truly have the opportunity to exercise our right to free choice, including deciding whether to gamble or not and where to do so. We must confirm that the gambling game we select is legitimate and will offer a fair game. The hype, which is widespread even in the cryptocurrency gambling industry, deceived the woman and undoubtedly took her along. People who are duped by the excitement frequently fall into scammers' traps.
The woman's excessive emotions and belief that she should win more were caused by her greed, and her response was also immature. We are constantly urged to put an end to our gambling greed and to always consider the consequences. In all forms of gambling, controlling our emotions has a significant impact on every aspect of the game.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: May 14, 2023, 09:23:20 PM
I'm not sure if this is the situation in all countries, but in my country for many years there was a policy that people received approximately the same pension. One has been working for 25 years and the other for 35 years, but people's pensions did not differ much. If you want to get a big pension today, then you or your employer must pay a lot of taxes. The retirement age is constantly rising, and not many people live to this age. But you have to trust the state in this difficult time, or think about your pension on your own.

The retirement age in our nation is 60 years old, but it has been discussed raising it to 65 years old, which is a good thing because there are still elderly people who wish to work to support themselves. Since the majority of them want to have successful careers before retiring, I don't see any issues with it. For us to be able to continue to enjoy life as we age, we must lay a strong foundation for our careers while we are still young. We should constantly consider saving and planning for the future as long as we are strong and capable of working.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: The thin line between contentment & living below potential, Patience & wasting t on: May 14, 2023, 08:42:40 PM
There is a thin line between being contented and living below your potential, this is what I have come to notice with some people around me who should be doing better financially than they are but because they claim to be contended they have refused to do more. How can you explain financial contentment to someone successful and what do you think it is?

There is a lot a thin line between wasting time and patience. How can we know that we are not wasting our time doing a business?
I think that if everything is in order with your business and finances, then you do not have to prove anything to anyone. It is very difficult to find a certain balance, because it is constantly changing. There will be successful people around you who are richer, but this does not mean that they are happier than you. When I was young, I did not think about such things, and tried to earn money in different ways to look successful. Right now I don't care about other people's opinions.

Living a life of fear of what others may think can only rob you of happiness and contentment. In fact, we could be happy and yet put in a lot of effort. For me, it is okay to feel content as long as we are living well and can provide for our family's needs, but there is no issue with working harder to accomplish more.
Considering what others may think will only have a negative impact on our life and may even distract us from concentrating on our objectives. If others are successful, it doesn't always follow that we aren't in our own right. We may take different paths in life, but we may also find different forms of contentment.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 14, 2023, 08:19:59 PM
~snip~

Gambling addiction is a very strong addiction to stop, it's better to not get addicted initially than thinking you can stop the addiction when it becomes unbearable for you. You mightn't know you're addicted because you'll be enjoying what you're doing even when there are losses.
Crazy people, if the orientation is on fun and continues to make you poor. Maybe when addicted they don't have good thoughts and family is the best solution for the approach to healing. I myself sometimes do gambling but not to the point of addiction, there are limits that I always remember. Even if it is just for fun, but if it continues and continues to lose, it is stupid. I will not take pleasure in my condition of continuing to lose it suicide. So the one that the author expresses is right, they have a different way because we don't succeed in the way that already exists.

If we indulge in excessive enjoyment, develop a gambling addiction, and ultimately cause our families to suffer, that would be unfair. If we enjoy something, we should make sure it isn't having a negative impact on the lives of those around us. Although gambling addiction is intolerable, it is preventable in its early stages.
We should take steps to restrain ourselves if we believe that our urges to gamble are uncontrollable. We shouldn't let our emotions influence the decisions we make. It's crucial to establish our boundaries early on in order to prevent going overboard and using greater sums than we have set aside for gambling. We certainly regret our actions in the long run if we do nothing and limit ourselves from the start.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: May 13, 2023, 05:25:40 PM
It is true that success depends on the luck we get and not everyone will get luck even though the effort they do is in accordance with the procedures they are currently undergoing, but for me the effort in a job to get something is more important because there we will get some opportunities for our success even though some people cannot get it, But rest assured every effort we make will definitely get results even though sometimes not as we want but all take time.
Success begins with effort, but luck only comes after effort. Very unsure that success is determined by luck without any effort although the success is not something that is guaranteed even though you have tried.

The flow might be like this: Attempt - success - luck.

I also believe that success is not luck because in essence it is not gambling, especially in business. You have to work on growing your business until you find it financially successful, so it's hard work that basically never makes sense to call it luck.

No matter how affluent and fortunate an individual may be, if he won't grind and work hard, all will still be wasted. In my opinion, dedication is the key to a successful life. If you refrain from trying, luck won't get you far in life.
I think there are some extremely lucky persons in some professions, but they undoubtedly worked hard to keep what good fortune had given them. There are also underprivileged individuals who were born into poverty but have elevated their lives through a desire to succeed.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 13, 2023, 04:54:42 PM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?

You are buying coins which have very big supply and rate of increase is very slow. These coins are secure except XRP because Sec case is serious issue which not let xrp price to rise up high because investors cannot freely invest. Ethereum and bnb are high marketcap coins which are best for long term and i think you can distribute your money with 40% Eth 40% bnb and 20% xrp.

We all know about the sec situation that XRP has been dealing with, thus I don't believe it would be worthwhile to invest in it over the long term. I think it needs to address a number of issues before it can rebuild its reputation. Ethereum and BNB are both solid long-term investments, but you should always allocate the majority of your funds to Bitcoin.
There are actually many viable alternative coins nowadays, but you should make your choice depending on your end objective because some altcoins are only appropriate for a short-term investment while others are worthwhile to hold for the long term.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend's investment in Bitcoin on: May 13, 2023, 04:27:52 PM
Did I give my friend the right advice?
When in the context of discussions and talking about it and deciding to be in bitcoin then indeed I think it's pretty good, but in this case I would prefer to emphasize that things like this are not as easy as they seem. Telling bitcoin is indeed a pretty good step towards greater adoption of course, but on the other hand we also have to emphasize that even if it's good but nothing is certain in this case and your friend should research more about it.
Even if nothing is in vain in the end when talking about bitcoin, but your friend is a beginner, it would be better to find information and learn more than to invest directly here because of course we know that the risk is also quite large.
You have done your part OP, now it’s time for your friend to do his own due diligence in researching. He must have gained more knowledge first and read reviews about bitcoin before he decided to invest. Also, the amount he put in the first place is quite big, I don’t think he can afford it losing when his investment does not work out like he expect it to be. But maybe let’s just admit it that newbies only learned after losing, and probably once he lose, he will now be cautious on his investment and creates a solid plan.
That's the point, don't say about this investment just based on friends who say that bitcoin is good because basically something like this will actually make those who are involved in such conditions uncertain I think because they don't know the concept of bitcoin and don't study further but insist on investing just because of trust in friends.
This must be clarified because indeed all possibilities when talking about bitcoin can still happen. Hope and belief in more than now is very good, but on the other hand with conditions like now for bitcoin that guarantee does not exist because of volatility and conditions that can sometimes change at any time which makes us have to be aware of all the consequences if we really want to be here.

It's great that Op did his part to outline the risks associated with investing in bitcoin. Because it was his personal choice to invest in it, his friend is alone and responsible for himself if his investment fails or incurs losses. Op simply finished answering all of his inquiries out of curiosity, but he had previously warned him about the risks involved.
When they hear that investing in Bitcoin might be profitable, some investors get excited, but they lack the curiosity to dig deeper and discover how the market actually operates. I hope Op's friend is doing his part to learn more about blockchain technology in order to broaden his understanding of it.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and How Do you watch live boxing and MMA matches on: May 13, 2023, 04:01:45 PM
Watching boxing matches on Facebook livestreams is more convenient in my opinion. When I would miss the live match, I could even view it through recorded videos. I find it more engaging to connect with other viewers about their thoughts and opinions about the fighters and the match when compared to other media coverage. We can now watch our eagerly anticipated matches easily these days as opposed to in the past when we had to wait for the live telecast on televisions via satellite antenna. I occasionally move to Youtube streams when the video quality on Facebook isn't that good. However, I believe what's essential is that we can now watch our anticipated matches comfortably.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: May 12, 2023, 05:06:17 PM
it can also be called greediness, it's always greed that make some people wanna become rich quick even though it's clear that the method in front of them for becoming quick rich is nothing more than just a trickery, like investing into some shit coin with heavy manipulation, if someone thinks they are someone with extra ordinary luck and could score massive profit going against the one that manipulates forget it, that's just blindness clouded by greedines.

Some people perceive success stories they hear incorrectly, leading them to have unrealistic expectations and even the wrong mindset when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies. We all want to make money, but we should be aware that getting there will require a lot of patience because most cryptocurrencies only become profitable after being held for a while.
We should restrain our greed and desire to become rich quickly when investing in cryptocurrencies, and we shouldn't ignore the risks. If we have the guts to research how to handle market volatility, we can become sensible investors.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you Spending Money the Wrong Way in Pursuit of Happiness? on: May 12, 2023, 04:39:50 PM
I used to spend the money I made from my first job on wants and even unnecessary goods as long as they were in trend, but as time went on, I began to understand the value of effective financial management.
For the success of my scheduled events, I started budgeting and saving. I was in charge of taking in charge of our bills and other expenses. For us to ensure that our money is being handled properly and that our efforts while working are not wasted, responsible spending should become a habit.
Being happy doesn't need us to spend money on things that will make us happy, but a comfortable existence is something we should strive for by working hard and preparing for financial independence as we get older.
439  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: May 12, 2023, 04:08:37 PM
Old age is of course different, in my place people who are 65 years old are still actively working in the fields or are fishermen at sea, but we must always think that old age is a happy time and it's time to enjoy passive income, and the best thing we can do right now do is invest in bitcoin.

Older people who are still working in the fields and fishing in the sea at the age you say are those who do not have passive income and also have never made investments in the past which may be hindered by their own abilities. And now they still have to continue working to fulfill their own needs without thinking about investing and enjoying their old age with their children, so don't equate these people with young people who still have time to make investments they like now.

And I think you are also one of the young people who still have time to think about investing from now on as long as you haven't reached the age of 65. Especially if you already know so many places for investment as well as the best products and assets that are suitable for your own future investment.
Agree, everyone's degree is different. because the situation that cannot exceed this limit becomes an obstacle. and of course this is a good lesson from the people around us to anticipate more that does not match our expectations in the future. many parents who want a happy old age are different. I always try hard to manage my savings, old age savings, daily money, different budgets, sometimes I can't maximize it because something outside of a sudden

Because some of them did not have the same privileges that we do now, we can't hold the older generation responsible for continuing to labor into old age. They lack the advancements in technology that we do, thus they are unable to take advantage of the same opportunities.
We should draw lessons from them since we have witnessed their struggles. We no longer have an excuse not to start preparing for the future because we have the required knowledge, abilities, and access to cutting-edge technology. Savings should always be our top priority as long as we have the means to invest. In order to ensure that we won't depend on anybody else as we age, we must make this commitment as early as possible.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 12, 2023, 03:32:20 PM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue
A good advice sir, and that must be done before gambling so that what we do in gambling can be controlled.

Resting from time to time is something that needs to be done either after getting a victory or defeat to raise what turbulent in our lust and mind, stop for a moment will make the mind more fresh and aware again.
I think it is necessary to add points that may help so as not to do excessive gambling.
Among them to tell first friends or closest people when going to gambling so that if there is excess emotions the closest person can remind him and force us to stop, to be honest alone it will be more dangerous even though we have made the previous principle.

Resting is important, especially if we are experiencing too many intense feelings while gambling. We should take a break to rejuvenate in order to prevent burnout from our ongoing losses. If we keep betting after a losing streak, we could become too emotional and let our undesirable feelings rule us. Even when we are winning, it is crucial that we know when to stop. Because most of us experience overwhelm on a regular basis and don't know how to handle it, we often mistakenly feel greedy.
We frequently battle our emotions when we gamble, so we must learn to manage them carefully to prevent them from taking control of our gambling session.
