1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 03, 2022, 05:15:06 PM
Congratulations, Op. Truly, Bitcoin is a life saver in most unexpected instances. Professionals are actually silent yet they're also into crypto. Your child's birth is really memorable and it's a good thing that you encountered a doctor that's into Bitcoin. I hope that hospitals and other establishments would also accept Bitcoin especially during emergencies.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 03, 2022, 03:17:44 PM
In general, it is quite useful for a trader if there is a mentor. But you need to understand that not all mentors are experienced, and most importantly, you also need to rely on your own knowledge, and not just on strangers.
And in the first place, we don't need someone who is not knowledgeable enough to teach us as this makes no sense at all. if we ask for a mentor and want to gain more ideas, we are supposed to look for an expert in that field, not the one who is also just like us (beginners).

Exactly, not all who got a mentor succeeded after, some had also failed because of decision making. This is an individual response to the market and this couldn't be taught.

Mentors could serve as our guides especially if they're skilled enough to impart their knowledge to us but we shouldn't rely everything on them. Even professional traders fail at times. It's also important that you'll be able to deal with the market personally and make firm decisions when it comes to trading based on your own experience.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID2 good to invest ? possible X10 increase ? on: June 03, 2022, 02:35:00 PM
I hope you're aware of what happened to Squid token a few months ago. It already lost its reputation and the trust of most of its investors so I don't think it's still worth the risk. Instead of risking your funds on a shady and shaky coin, why don't you just invest them in coins with good potential? Be skeptical in picking coins to invest with.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Strongman] 2022 World’s Strongest Man on: June 03, 2022, 10:45:50 AM
I am also curious if it will soon be possible to bet on these kinds of matches? I've actually never experienced that before. Well at the Summer Olympics you also have powerlifters there, but this is a completely different part what they do here. It could well be that there are a few bookmakers that make it possible to bet on this.

I hope it would be possible to bet on this sport using cryptocurrency. It would sound more interesting and exciting if this sports would be on the main stream because to be honest, they really deserve to be recognized. We could really see the dedication and passion of the players.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what age did you start learning about bitcoin? on: June 02, 2022, 06:27:54 PM
I was 25 when I first heard about Bitcoin. I actually have regrets because I missed the opportunity to invest in it right away. I got interested in it two years later which was quite late and I already missed the first bull run. However, I'm still grateful that I was able to learn things about Bitcoin and other altcoins when I already have a stable job to sustain my investment funds. It's hard to start investing without enough funds so I made sure that I'm financially and emotionally prepared upon entering the world of crypto investment.
1366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Platform? on: June 02, 2022, 05:18:13 PM
Binance is user-friendly, especially for beginners so it would be better for you to use this reputable platform first before trying other exchanges. Don't focus on the fees but rather the good service that an exchange could provide. There are actually exchanges that offer cheaper transaction fees but have negative feedback so it would be better to stick to a top exchange.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 02, 2022, 04:36:40 PM
Every market situation should always be an opportunity for us to earn. While others feel fearful about the current market situation, we should take it as a chance not just to relax but to accumulate potential coins at low prices. We shouldn't miss the chance of buying cheap coins than to regret it when the market recovers again. We should keep in mind that a bearish market isn't permanent so we must take advantage of it.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime on: June 02, 2022, 04:11:01 PM
Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime. some time gain profit some time loss.i feel any time depression.

Wrong mindset and too much expectations could really lead to depression especially if we risk the funds that we couldn't afford to lose. It often happens when we are too confident about our investment without even thinking about the risk of the market's volatility. Upon entering the world of crypto, we must be ready about the possibilities including losses. That's actually the reason why we're always advised to risk what we could only afford to lose. It's alright to feel depressed but we shouldn't end there.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: friendly and profitable board for beginners, have you realized it? on: June 02, 2022, 03:32:56 PM
i got a $60 bet from the predictions in this thread, i made a small game with my friend and i listened to the predictions of bitcointalk users. until i got the game.hehe
thanks

i like to read Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 thread here =>
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271157.0

and i also like to read other threads on this board, i feel entertained and have an idea about any sport.

how about you, since getting to know the gambling thread or getting to know the bitcointalk forum?

You were lucky but you also have to be skeptical because not all predictions are applicable. There were times that even professional gamblers' predictions and opinions don't work. However, it's also a good move that as a beginner, your mind reading suggestions and opinions from this board so you'll have an idea when it comes to decision making but just be careful and always do continuous research.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFT slot Machine !! on: June 02, 2022, 06:46:23 AM
Only those who are into NFTs would be interested in it because most gamblers here focus on crypto earnings. That's actually a breath of fresh air for some players but I don't think it could work in the long run since most NFTs aren't good for a long-term basis. It would only double the risk of gambling.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: June 01, 2022, 04:15:43 PM
It will surely have its pros and cons. It will be another strategy for the government to regulate and monitor the gamblers as well as their earnings which will also require them to pay taxes later on. On the other hand, it could also lessen the number of minors who are into gambling. Through this, they will be able to control or even prohibit young people to gamble which is also a good thing.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: June 01, 2022, 03:30:32 PM
It's easy to tell yourself "I will stop after I've won this one". But I think one just needs a certain control over gambling as it can be addictive.

Actually this is wrong. If you tell yourself "stop after X scenario", brain will send the command to do completely different. And this is not only in gambling. Every experienced opening a can of Pringles, saying just one last chip and later finding yourself with an empty can? Or opening a bag of skittles and taking just one candy? We are always trying to lie to ourselves. In gambling, this lie is multiplied with greed, and this "I will stop" only triggers to play more. Because "I will stop" with 99.9% variability is used when you are already loosing, and nobody wants to be a looser.

If we aim for something with greed, we could really end up losing everything we have. The right mindset is necessary before we enter the gambling world. We should learn how to control our emotions or else it will be the one who will control us. Uncontentment is human nature but we could change our ways if we'll know our limits from the beginning.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: May 31, 2022, 03:46:36 PM
I could say that the old Warriors are back because based on their gameplays they showed teamwork and performed their best to reach the finals. Celtics are also undeniably eager to win and they will surely make it challenging for the Warriors to win but I could feel the urge and thirst of the Warriors to win this time. My bet is for warriors but whoever wins, I'm sure that this finals will be too exciting for everyone.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: May 31, 2022, 02:24:58 PM
Why is The Golden Promotion feeding this kind of fight on Ryan he is already ripe he is not a starter boxer he should be fighting the like of Haney, Kambosos, or Tank it seems he is not yet ready for the big fight, big-name fighters in the lightweight division have done a lot and fought the best and win the title, but look at Ryan he is just all talks but he and his promotion cannot back it up.
It's so obvious that The Golden Boy promotion doesn't want to kill their goose that lays the golden egg yet.

It seems like they're taking advantage of his fame but they should let him prove that he could do more. They should give them the spotlight by letting him handle a good match. However, I'm not underestimating Fortuna, he's also a promising boxer but the management should also allow Ryan to face harder matches which could mark so people would really see his full potential.
1375  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid omicron version 2.0 monkeypox coming and markets on: May 29, 2022, 03:44:10 PM
I am sick and tired of this just like billions in the world. I do not think that we would have lockdowns again, and I believe that world is at a place where we would literally prefer to die instead of going back to pandemic methods until it's too late.

World has lived through some horrible years, I made less last year and making double right now and still not living easily because economy is so screwed and so terrible. This should be even worse, inflation may cause us to earn a lot more but living is a lot harder these days. I am barely living by, it is getting worse each and every month and I do not know what to do. If there is another thing like this, I do not think that I can survive it.
So much depression already due to Covid and than wars and not this monkeypox.
What has gone wrong with the world. May God bless the much hurting world and there comes peace and blessing to the world.

The monkeypox isn't as dangerous as Covid and it couldn't spread out easily so I don't think it could cause another lockdown. We're so done with the pandemic and it has a huge negative impact on lots of people emotionally and financially. Some people might see it as a good thing but it's hell for some of us, especially for poor people who have lost their jobs during the pandemic. The cryptocurrency situation didn't really go better during the pandemic so let's not hope for another lockdown to happen because it won't benefit us to be honest.
1376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: May 29, 2022, 02:49:33 PM
Being prepared for any situation in the market is almost impossible. It should be understood that you can only be ready in theory, but in practice it is not easy to get such a result.

Having the right mindset would set you ready for the possibilities. If you know how the market works then you'll know that the volatility of cryptocurrency could lead the market to a bearish or bullish situation. That's actually the risk of crypto investment. As for me, the best thing to do during this market situation is to accumulate good coins specifically the well-established ones such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: could TERRA LUNA go back to $1 dollar? on: May 29, 2022, 02:24:57 PM
You are right. Even now, Luna's Binance Trade is not being held again. deposits and withdrawals were again suspended. this happened after Core Developer Terra got approval to burn 1.3 billion UST from its community pool after voting.
There is no new, bigger hope for LUNA because with what happened to LUNA during the dump, it has made things worse for LUNA and investors and traders are very sorry for having bought LUNA in the past before the dump occurred. And now the development team is starting to work on making improvements so that there is new hope for LUNA, this is something that will be very difficult for LUNA to get.

LUNA has ruined the lives of lots of its investors so I don't think it could regain their trust again or even attract more investors because of what happened. It already has a bad reputation and it will only be a big risk to invest in it again since it couldn't stand firm as a coin. I don't think it could recover again or even reach $1. Its damage to investors affects its trust rate negatively.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: May 29, 2022, 02:01:26 PM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.

No one could predict the exact thing that could happen by June since there still aren't any latest crypto events that could affect the entire market. In my personal opinion, June still isn't the month for market recovery. If you're holding Bitcoin or any potential altcoin, better hold it or continue to accumulate more good coins while the prices are still low.
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: May 29, 2022, 01:34:23 PM
I don't think the history will affect your purchase. It's actually been happening for lots of times but since you aren't involved in such criminal activity, you shouldn't be bothered about the it but if you seek assurance, then you could check it and buy from a different trader if that will give you peace of mind. You just have to make sure that you're purchasing from an exchange and not from an unknown person from other platforms.
1380  Economy / Gambling / Re: HELP WITH BETTING! BETTING FOR YOU! MAKE MONEY WITH ME! on: May 29, 2022, 12:53:32 PM
This sounds shady and there are already lots of red flags. I know that Op wants to offer his service but users nowadays want assurance. How will you provide transparency and fairness through your service? It would be risky to entrust funds to an unknown person without an established reputation. It would be better to enjoy gambling than to risk it with other people's service.
