421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 29, 2023, 08:18:53 PM
I just recently understood how the rules will be in a tiebreaker of the In-Season tournament. So, it was a point system, just like in FIBA and the Olympics.
When the commentator talked about it during the Warriors vs Kings game that the Warriors need 12 points and win the game, that's when I understood it. I am stupid to think that they will use the regular season rankings to identify the winner.

So, the Warriors were defeated so I guess there's no problem in Group C anymore. It was actually a sad defeat because they tried very hard to make a 17-point lead and I really thought they could win the game. But Payton was hurt, CP3 was also hurt, and those two will be their key to winning the game. Sure, Wiggins is hot but still, when it comes to defense, Payton was the one who stopped Fox from attacking the paint.
It was a nice rotation from Steve Kerr, he did well despite all those problems. But, they still lost and I think the Warriors need more time to catch up on chemistry with Draymond Green.
Yeah the points do matter, and when that suddenly became a thing, the "you do not score last points in a blow out game" thing became mute as well.

Normally, when you are ahead by 20 points on the last 10 seconds, you do not shoot and if anyone does shoot there is a problem, we have seen players attack each other for moves like that, most recent I can remember was crawford or someone, in the end you just don't do that, it's an unwritten rule, if you are leading and other team stops and accepts the loss, you do not try to score. Here though? During the in-season tournament, teams do score, even if they have a last second shot and leading by 30 points they still try because points do matter and who will go up could be decided based on that.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: November 29, 2023, 02:16:11 PM
many people predict that the bullrun will occur in 2024, because in 2024 there will be a Bitcoin halving, it's just that we don't know exactly when the bullrun will occur (at the beginning of the year or at the end of the year), so instead of thinking about when the bullrun will occur, it's better for us to focus continue doing DCA until the bullrun occurs, because currently the price of cryptocurrency (including Bitcoin) is still cheap, so when the bullrun occurs then we will get a lot of profit from investing in cryptocurrency now, because I believe 2023 is the year that we can buy cryptocurrency at a cheap price.
Currently actually experiencing a small pump, the price of Bitcoin has reached $37k and that means if the current situation continues then it is possible that in 2024 when the halving occurs, there will be many people who think the same way, where the price will increase and they don't want to miss the moment to invest, so that if we talk about opportunities, then that moment is a good moment to reap results
It has broken over 38k after many years of being in the bear run, it is a great feeling and I think it's quite good. However, I agree with OP situation, I think Q4 of 2024 will be the tart of a HUGE bull run, people are still thinking this is a good run but we are still under ATH, the greatest period starts after the ATH is broken and that should be important situation.

Let me explain it this way, I am talking about the time when we broke over 20k last time, we did go over 20k and then peaked at 68k, and everything else went up like that as well. What if we go to 70k and break it, but then go to 200k as well? That would be epic, and that's the real profit making period. I can't wait to see it and I think it could start there.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Bets to Know How Good Enough You Are? on: November 29, 2023, 05:21:20 AM
Funny question because let's say I tell you that it's 100. Will you believe me? Will you feel confident in your skill when after 100 bets in dice or slots you are in profit? Will you tell everyone that you're a good player after that?

If I tell you that it's a million bets, will you play long enough to try it?

This thread cannot answer your question and even if it does, you probably won't do anything with that knowledge.
Don't know about you, but I find the question serious, and I think he isn't asking about us but he is more concerned about his performance. Also, he is talking about sports betting here, and not casino games. All of us are equal in casino games although our luck can come randomly, e.g. I am lucky today and can win while you aren't but the next day or so, you are the ones who are lucky and I am the opposite of it. Luck can still play a role even in sports betting, this is why he said someone can get those percent after a certain number of bets. To know our true skill, it is better to place more bets, as the winning percentage can still fluctuate.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 28, 2023, 07:15:00 PM

The most competitive competition is between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich because the two are much closer, but Leverkusen's consistent performance to date has made it difficult for Bayern Munich to shift their position in the standings. There is an opportunity to shift Leverkusen's position when the two meet in the second leg, but it looks like it will be a little more difficult because in the first leg Leverkusen managed to hold Bayern Munich to a draw at the Allianz Arena.

Both Dortmund and Stuttgart are far from catching up to the first and second standings because of the difference in points so it will be quite difficult for both of them to catch up. For me, it is not yet time to judge who will emerge as Bundesliga champions, but I hope that Leverkusen will continue to be a strong challenger to Bayern Munich until the season ends.
Both teams are great they are the most dominant team in the Bundesliga I fear for Harry Kane getting into Bayern Munich as he wants to have a championship for himself but it looks like Leverkusen will not allow that to happen and it seems that the Harry Kane curse was true all along, but for sure Bayern Munich will have something in their disposal to get this done,
I would guess that it is understandable for them to not have a great season, not every team could end up having a great season and that's understandable, I believe that it has to be something fine and that will be ok, as long as they do not end up relegating, it just means they have one more season to play and do better and that's the type of approach they should have.

I think Bayern basically ruins everyone's system, because you know you are not going to win the title even before the season starts, there are only a very few teams who could try to win it, but the whole league aside from like two maybe three teams knows they are not going to be champions, it's like that for many leagues obviously and not just bundesliga, but it's a hard idea.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 28, 2023, 03:05:43 PM
His hand are soft not Diamond. He needs to sell it and ask for advice.

100 into 150 is nothing

and having to ask about it is the issue.

No understanding of hodl not ready to hodl.
Yes, and I can understand if it is someone young with little money or living in a developing country where that amount is more important than for us, but the fact that 20 days ago he was saying he was planning to hold for 5 years, plus adding to the investment, and now he is considering whether to sell makes me wonder if there isn't a bit of trolling going on here. In any case, I have it clear, at the moment we are in, facing a bull market and with that amount I would not sell, another thing is that he needs the money for something but then he should not have invested it in the first place.
Exactly that.

If we assume he is truthful he simply is not emotionally ready to invest.

Or he is a troll and we are wasting time replying to him.

But if a truly shaky handed person is reading this some advice could help them.
That is the reason why I usually respond to topics that look like trolling, because I feel like there could be some real person out there who may read this and get some help, not really response to OP himself, but to anyone who feels like what OP wrote, which makes responds a lot more crucial. I do believe that holding is important at this stage, and people should be holding as long as possible, I would say even hold beyond this upcoming bull run we are expecting and see the bull run after that, 4 years after that probably, and if you can wait the 8 years after one, and wait 12 years after one, wait as long as possible.

In fact, I would wait until I pass away from this world and leave it all to my kids, who would be way richer than me I assume after getting them. So all in all, waiting is true, and selling is wrong to me. This isn't exactly towards OP, if he could use it then great, but if not, this is to all the people who wonder about what they should do.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin In Bullish or Bearish Trend? on: November 28, 2023, 06:45:30 AM
Recently we have seen a piece of very bearish news about the Binance owner CZ where he stepped down as the CEO and was charged with allegations of money laundering, but this negative news was not seen reflected in the bitcoin price action as the price didn't dump much and today again we see bitcoin over 38,000$.

This clearly shows that whales aren't interested in the bearish side of things and the bitcoin spot ETF and halving hypes are more than enough to keep the positive momentum of bitcoin up and running.
In that regard, you were correct. Now that we are approaching and entering the bull run or halving in Bitcoin, whale investors are not paying much attention to such bearish events since they are paying more attention and planning.

This is also what the majority of communities in the crypto realm are preparing for. If there is anyone who is unaware of this circumstance, it is those who are unaware of what is now happening in the crypto business in which we live, and it is evident that we are in a positive trend.
It's a negative news, but the market was not discourage by it, as we remain strong and we are still above $37k, one of the biggest support that we have. However, we still need to observe what the market or where will it move. Sometimes when we think that it is going in this direction, suddenly the market goes on the opposite side. Meaning that is volatility for us.

However, above $35k this end of the month is not that bad, and it goes and end at $37k then it's already a big bonus. At least no more lowest low or if we look at our lows last year, we are above 100%++ already and then we are looking for the bull run next year.
If the price is strong, and doing great then could we even call it a "negative" news? We could say maybe irrelevant news, like something that the market didn't care, up or down, if the price doesn't move based on a news then I do not see it as either negative or positive.

I think when the price moves, goes up after a big news (like how ETF was approved which turned out to be a lie made the price go up) that's a good news and could be considered positive, or when the price goes down after a big news then we could say that it was a negative news as well. Anything else should be considered just a normal irrelevant unimportant news. We are going strong now, and I believe that we will keep on growing more and more in the near future.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 28, 2023, 05:42:59 AM
There will be some people who will reject your assumption even though it is basically true, for people who are scientifically illiterate but very open to the name of profit they will not care about ideas that will hinder them. Many come because they are motivated by others who are successful and make huge profits from trading, they want to have the same fate but the problem is that they do not bring any preparation and fishing tools to get, isn't it nothing more than gambling? yes I would say that if anyone gets involved and enters the world of trading without having any understanding and knowledge, because they will only depend on luck.

With that said, I would agree with your statement that "trading is not for everyone", and I would add one thing "there is no instant wealth in trading". Before you jump in and get involved because you are motivated by the success of others then I hope you should first see what difficulties they faced in the process of achieving it, if you already know and have the answer then I'm not sure you will still be convinced to get involved. Basically, there are so many things you have to prepare, good planning, money management, emotional and psychological, patience, consistency and willingness to continue learning to improve. So think and consider again if you want to get involved.
That is such a terrible thing, same thing happens at gambling too, people see others win the jackpot and imagine what they could do with that much money and gamble and lose what they have too. Same at trading, surely there are plenty of people who make insane returns, but that doesn't mean that you can start today and start making a ton of money, you are going to end up losing money here and there, which is why you should avoid it if you could.

I believe that the best thing you could do regarding this situation would be just focusing on what you could do with what you have. If you are a newbie, then it is not wise to end up trying to do something regarding big profits, but trying to learn how to trade, that would be a lot better.

While learning, you could do well enough but that doesn't mean that you will be amazing, sometimes you will lose, that's normal while trading, don't be discouraged and hope that you will get better by working hard and studying.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What one change to Bitcoin can make it's adoption faster? on: November 27, 2023, 06:15:42 PM
Reduce or eliminating government intervention, this will make the country is free to choose what they likes including Bitcoin. But this change is something like won't going to happen since government was created to control the citizens. They control through the system where teacher can only teach base on their curriculum, TV broadcast or articles that only mention about crypto scams instead of Bitcoin is better than banks etc.
Like you, I do not like the state's heavy intervention in a way that does not take into account the privacy of citizens. But I disagree with you very much when we are discussing ways that can accelerate Bitcoin adoption. We can never cancel the fact that we still live in a global economic system based on centralization, which in countries occupies the most important place in regulating financial operations and everything related to finance. According to this standpoint, it would be very beneficial for the state to include blockchain education within the educational curricula at all levels (secondary and university), which will raise awareness of the technology and provide room for its use and thus adoption.
Today we have the United Arab Emirates as the most important example, although it does not fully recognize crypto, but adoption rates are on the rise after granting activity permits to crypto service platforms like Binance.
I would guess that going against the government is not the way to get adoption higher. I mean you may "wish" for something but the reality is different than what you wish for. The situation is clear, we are talking about something that would not be all that troublesome, I think it should be important to notice that if you really want no intervention by the government at all, then you are going to face some trouble, instead you should be trying to do something that will benefit you one way or another, and for that to happen you need to make sure that you have government on your side.

Not saying government should be against it, no, you can't even have government ignoring it, you may want that, but even that's bad, you literally need it supporting it. That will change everything, we need more legal tender nations, and possibly even bigger ones. That would make adoption of bitcoin a lot more, it should be something that would be considered positive for us.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 or BEP20? on: November 27, 2023, 01:12:46 PM
Ita very simple, BEP-20 is cheaper as it costs only 0.30 USDT as network fee wherein TRC-20 costs 1 USDT as network fee, but as per my personal experience TRC-20 are way quicker than BEP-20 in terms of transaction.

Go ahead with BEP-20 if it's available in the exchange or P2P platform where you are sending these $150, moreover regardless $0.30 or $1 doesn't make huge difference at these are flat rates instead of dynamic or percentage basis. BEP-20 will not be available with all the exchanges.
That is also what I noticed after a long time of using both networks, I think that is because we pay more fees, so it's normal that it will be processed quickly. The same with Bitcoin and other cryptos. This makes us use TRC-20 more, than BEP-20, even though TRC-20 is a little costly.

After all, it was still $1 and it's cheaper compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum transaction/gas fees. I think Binance or BEP-20 is more popular and more trusted by the many but it's strange if it's less supported by the exchanges. Is it possible that they have a hidden hate because it was their competitor? While Tron doesn't have an exchange so they just side on it instead.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 27, 2023, 04:33:04 AM
Ltc looking like sleeping gigant the price is Under 100$ definately cheap now people mis buy ltc because no body dont want miss the opportunity some experts Even say that LTC can Do 300% gain from here.
i think it's LTC time now in this crypto bull run season
Looking at the potential bull run coming, if we can see bitcoin reaching a new ATH, then why not the same for Litecoin as well? I think that is a quite big possibility and it will probably happen. I do agree that it is not an easy thing to hope for, and maybe it will fail, but that doesn't mean that it is not going to be true, it just means that it is going to be a dangerous risk that you are taking.

I believe that the upside is that even if it doesn't double or triple in price, it will go up, so that means you are going to make profit, maybe more than you need, maybe not enough but you will make a profit. The only downside is that maybe some other coins could profit more, so you are going to be stuck with something that made you profit, but not as much as what you could have done with something else. If you are down with the ups and the downs of it, you could definitely invest into it, I do have some and I am happy with my decision, not a whole ton but I have a bit of it.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 26, 2023, 08:52:00 AM
I couldn't agree more with your first point. There had been a few times where I cowered and got scared of the situation that I cashed out too early. I guess it's just something that's in my nature but holy hell does it suck to always be wrong in my predictions. This coming bull run, I'm making it a point to keep at my spot trading/futures position according to my analysis and predictions, would trust myself more this time cause I feel like I do have a knack for trading, it's just that even I don't trust my predictions and inferences even though they are pretty much based on factors that are real.

Thanks for this post, much of an eye opener even for the peeps here who've been in this industry for literal years now.
We need to admit that sometimes the volatility that exists in this market is simply too much, and even experimented traders will find themselves doubting themselves if the market crashed unexpectedly and they were losing money at a rate they did not expect.

So as way to reduce that anxiety you could reduce the size of the positions that you open, as in this way even if the volatility was high, your losses will not be as significant as before and it will be easier for you to hold your coins.
Excellent point. The size of your trades is significant because if you are trading with an amount too small, you might lose interest and not care about the result. If you are trading with an amount too big to risk for you, then you are going to be driven by emotions and not the analysis.

Finding what's the right amount to trade is extremely important.

Similarly, what capital you are trading with also matters because again, too big a capital will make your nervous for the smallest movements and you are likely not able to apply the strategies you planned.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: November 25, 2023, 05:16:44 PM
If you look at the history and material of the current players and coaches, it is very natural that Liverpool are the favorites to win the Europa League. However, Liverpool, which often experiences a sudden decline in performance, sometimes means that this opportunity can be lost. But I think it's still too early to judge who will be the best. Arsenal or even later there will be more teams that fall in the Champions League and enter the European League via the play-off route.
I think Liverpool are still very consistent in the Europa League even though they lost to Toulouse in the last game they played. Liverpool will be one of the teams that will represent Group E in the round of 16. They also have the potential to qualify as group winners if you look at the opponents they will face in the two matches that are still available. Favoriting Liverpool as champions of the Europa League this season is very natural in my opinion because the player material that Liverpool has is very good and their performance so far is still reliable.

Even though there will be several teams from the Champions League entering the Europa League via the play-off route, they will not be a serious threat to Liverpool. I will place Bayer Leverkusen as Liverpool toughest competitor this time because of their consistent performance.
We all knew that Liverpool would go on "tolouse" that game lol. All jokes aside, I think they are doing wonderful in premier league right now as well, which means that they are capable of being as high as UCL if they were there, I mean if they were in the UCL today and played in a group, there are very few groups that they would hard time going up, they would be bale to be in the top 2 of almost any group, remove any team you want and put Liveprool in and there are just 2 groups I would not be entirely sure if they could go up or not, rest of the groups they could.

When you are that good, Europa cup suddenly becomes a lot less important for you, and it makes people question the situation and how these competitions are ranked to be fair.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 25, 2023, 12:45:49 PM
Insurance is important, especially as health insurance is an investment in your future health. It's just that perhaps what @Bayu7adi said was not the essence of insurance but rather the technical problem, not the insurance savings. but ensuring that insurance claims run smoothly, indeed insurance is important, but if claims are difficult, people will be reluctant to rely on insurance. Maybe this is what you need to pay attention to before entering into insurance, choose insurance that has truly been tested for its services.

So it makes people more open minded, because insurance is not only for themselves but for their loved ones too. Nowadays, insurance is really needed, especially for health. For those of you whose parents are older, you will definitely feel the pain, whether it's a mild illness or one that requires regular check-ups. My family and I have insurance.
Insurance claims are quite difficult things that's true, I can't really point out how many people had something wrong and had trouble with claiming their insurance as well. My father was a big example, it is not related to crypto, but my father had a car crash, thankfully he got out without any problem at all, and the insurance company offered to pay 10% of the damages, that makes absolutely no sense at all, it is really not the reason why people would have insurance, if I am not getting all 100% back, then why did I paid that much for the company.

The reason why the insurance company rejected paying 100% was the fact that my father was in it for just a year, and they kept saying they did not paid enough to deserve 100% back. Finally he managed to get something like 70-80% of the damages, but still did not get 100% back.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: November 25, 2023, 08:54:32 AM
If a business has developed, it is not easy to be brought down by its competitors, especially in business, we do not run our own business, which of course requires a team, in business we also have to make products that customers want, not because we want to satisfy our own ego, we can solve customer problems. in this way it feels difficult for other people to want to bring down our business. The most important thing is that the product is market fit / market needs, listening to customer complaints so that they can be an inspiration for the future, and having a solid team.
I feel like innovation is quite important, without innovation you are not going to get better. Even at something as incredibly difficult as medical world, when there is a drug that treats a sickness, usually people do not find all that much money to be made and do not go against it, there is really not that many reasons to develop a new drug because you already have one, but yet, we still see competition between them, there isn't just a single flu drug, there isn't a single vaccination, not a single anti-depressant, all these companies still end up building new stuff just to make sure they can get a market share.

Look at google, they already have most of the market share right? Does that mean there should never be any more search engine? Of course there are still many.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: fiat vs commodity on: November 25, 2023, 05:55:39 AM
This means that almost all commodities are stable in value, although some are rising and some are falling.
but your explanation and the average of all the comments I read state that it is fiat that is weakening.

thank you for all your opinion guys, really happy to hear that  Grin
I mean you could have it both ways to be fair. I can see that bitcoin was 68k just a few years ago, we can say that bitcoin went up during that time, of course dollar lost value too not that it didn't happen but bitcoin went up as well.

Did dollar suddenly gain way too much value, like doubled its value at least? Are you spending 100 dollars on something you used to buy for 200 dollars just 2 years ago? Of course not, the prices didn't drop that much, in fact in most cases earnings went up more than costs did so that's why inflation stopped, prices didn't fall and yet when you look at bitcoin price that went down, that's a different situation. This has to be important and needs to be focused on a lot more in the end.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: November 24, 2023, 06:39:39 PM
With the recent propaganda that happened with binance and CZ, I would like to argue about the future of the BNB coins although I would say BNB has always been my choice when it comes to paying for so many things online but the purpose of saving I won't really count it a choice I would prefer over the USDT and that's because of the rate at which my country currency devalues so fast against the USD, over the few months if I had held some USDT I would have gotten some profits from it, at least double of the money I would have used For the investment.
I am not sure if Binance will get worse without CZ, I mean it could get better too. It's "basically" decentralized now, not the exchange but the company itself. Of course the exchange is still centralized, that did not change, but there was a huge huge figure like CZ at the top, and it would be nearly impossible to go against what he wished, whereas the new CEO will be easily argued against because if anything goes wrong, whoever is the one that fires that person, maybe the board of directors, then he would be fired.

This means that they will be a better company because one person could make a mistake just because they want to do something, whereas if we are talking about something bigger, then it could definitely reach to a new level. This is important and should be the key factor when thinking about the future of binance and of course in relation to that BNB as well. I believe the future looks brighter for them, if they can use this well enough of course.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: November 23, 2023, 07:12:39 PM
I think low support levels and the possibility of a drop in Bitcoin price below $20k in the remainder of 2023 are unlikely to occur again. Especially now that Bitcoin is trading above $37k, and even has the potential for price increases to continue.
It will be hard to believe that bitcoin price will drop below 20k again even not this year or in the
next before halving , like now that we are expecting ETF approval next year early (but always we are expecting lol)
and also there are big boys now that have their support aside from Binance not being dumped after the resignation
of CZ , I believe that we are looking to stronger market till next year.
I feel like it would not drop under 20k ever again in our entire history. I know this is a big thing to say, but it has seen under 20k during the last bear market barely, it has gone down to 15k, and that was it, and I think with a new all time high coming, and potentially seeing above 100k, even in a situation where bitcoin drops 80%, that could be over 20k. That would be the biggest peak of bear run, and we would still be over 20k, I think that's an important situation.

I hope that we could end up with a situation that has to be a bit more careful, and it needs to be something that needs to be a bit more careful, that would definitely lead to a level where it would be profitable for the long run. I know that we may not end up with something that will benefit everyone, but at the end of the day it is going to be just a situation where it could profit everyone. So, we should just ignore anything under 20k, and even under 30k may not be seen anytime soon, maybe ever.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 23, 2023, 04:16:45 AM
While gambling some people gamble with small amounts which is not very important for them, but for those who are new to gambling and not able to control themselves or play with something reasonable amount.
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.
Both small money and big money are important when gambling because it is very difficult to earn money. Although many people suggest that gambling with small amount of money will result in less amount of profit, responsible gamblers will never make such comments rather they respect money very much. I think this tip of yours will be great because when a gambler puts money notes in front of his monitor he must remember that earning money is a very difficult task. And if he gambles using this method, he will definitely be responsible and will have a lot of attraction towards money. And if he avoids such introductions, I think the gambler is a wasteful person who is not responsible at all and will never win by playing but will only lose in the future.
I do understand that some people do feel that way, but there are tons of people who have tens of millions of dollars and they do not really care about it all that much. I feel like we need to arrange something that will change it on the long run. I hope that people could see the difference between people who are having hard time paying their bills and people who could lose 10 million dollars and absolutely nothing in their life changes.

That's a true difference between people, if you are making a bit of money and you are having trouble, then you are going to end up not gambling that much, for the past 2 years I had sickness in family, there is one now too, and I am going to be in HUGE debt, and I think it is going to be preventing me from gambling, whereas some rich dude may gamble 10 million dollars away and he wouldn't even care, money that could save one of my loved ones life, would be just one day fun for that person, it is unfair but it is the reality we live in.

While scrolling through the newsfeed, a news suddenly came in front of me that it is said that Al Hilal is going to cancel the contract with Neymar and the Saudi club will sign another player in place of Neymar. I don't know how true this news is, but I have come across such a news, so I shared this news in the forum. If anyone knows any accurate news about this then definitely share. When Neymar was sidelined for a whole season due to injury, I saw that Al Hilal players were talking about Neymar's side, so why is the club suddenly taking such a decision?
That might be just speculation and rumors.

I think Neymar has attracted a lot of attention to the league, but I guess it all depends on how much they feel it was worth paying for him.

Maybe they now are not so sure about it. Maybe they wanted to use him to attract other players and that didn't happen?
It is not cancelling of the contract, it's just he is registered right now for the league, and they have a limit place, so they are going to deregister him and get another player instead of him. That doesn't mean that he is not going to be paid, he is still going to be paid, but the difference is that he is not allowed to play if he is not registered, considering he is already injured and can't play, that doesn't really matter to them. It's like saying you can't play to a person who can't play, there is nothing wrong with that.

With the spot that is open up when he is deregistered, that means they will have a spot to buy another place and register that player, since they have a lot of money that means they can get anyone they want to put there. I believe that Neymar situation must be difficult on their finances, but that doesn't mean that they are not going to end up getting a nobody, they will still find a player that will help them one way or another.

Even if he still says that Bitcoin is rat poison or a gambling token, he is already implying that there is business to be made when he says that people won't stop playing the roulette wheel. As more and more banks will be heavily involved with cryptocurrencies and Buffett considers banks one of his investment targets, he will also be part of the game. If he still believed that Bitcoin is rat poison and he would never touch or get close to it, seems it doesn't mean he would refrain from buying stock in crypto-friendly banks that, by the way, outperform some of his major other investments.
But he probably should. There was a podcast that had Warren Buffett's partner Charlie Munger, and Munger said that it's more difficult to find value investments in modern investing compared to the time when they started their asset managing company. He also said that it's because there are more and more smart investors who are competing for the same assets in the stock market. He said the solution is = expect lower profit.
It's funny and unbelievable when a veteran people can think like that. But, I guess this also has to do with their age Cheesy. Maybe they are heavily attached to the old school and do not want to give too much effort on the newer ones because their body or mind can't handle it anymore XD. Younger generations tends to disagree with their statements. For us, modern investing or investments are much better.

It doesn't mean though that we are now disregarding the older kinds. We can still have them as way of diversifying, once we already have a sufficient capital. The smart investors they are talking about, competing in the same asset, are not a bad thing but it was a good thing actually because more demand means more increase.
