421  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns in the Service Board on: December 22, 2023, 08:17:33 PM
I partially agree with Stompix, but a mix of the Bitcoin service section and the altcoin service section would look more spammy. Signature campaigns play a major role in keeping active on the forum; honestly, we can't ignore that. So I think it would be better to add a section for signature campaigns beside the service section. It doesn't matter what the payment method is, actually. I don't see a reason to force companies or participants to run campaigns through Bitcoin. So let companies decide how they want to pay and open a section only for the signature campaign. But payment should be held through established coins, not IDO coins; otherwise, new projects signature campaigns will create spam there. All other services should remain as it is.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing its P2P efficiency!! on: December 22, 2023, 08:05:07 PM
You know the truth: Bitcoin has just become an investment scheme. Everyone just wants to make money from Bitcoin investments; hence, no one cares about the real goal of Bitcoin. True, Bitcoin still uses a peer-to-peer payment method, but it is insignificant in comparison. Due to the high fees, it has become hard to make payments in any marketplace through Bitcoin. Because congested network transaction times wouldn't meet with the payment gateway. In this manner, it's true that Bitcoin is losing efficiency. Developers should find a solution to reduce transaction fees and avoid congested networks.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifted wife with bitcoin money on birthday and wife happily gifted BTC logo on: December 22, 2023, 07:52:01 PM
I wish all the best to both of you. It's good you celebrated your wife's birthday with bitcoin earnings. I thought you gifted Bitcoin, but I clearly understood when I read the full post that you bought a gift with your earnings from Bitcoin. However, I feel a direct Bitcoin gift would be more memorable; I mean, gift some Bitcoin to her wallet. Since it's already past, you may plan for the next birthday. A bitcoin gift might give a good return in the near future as well, which would be special for both of you. Anyway, you did good and appreciate your wife's gift, which is BTC writing and logo.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 22, 2023, 07:28:09 PM
I am not getting why FUDers aren't learning yet. Bitcoin is in front of us, and we are seeing how it is growing. I can't imagine Bitcoin being dead anyway. We might see something like Bitcoin, which would be more developed than Bitcoin, but that doesn't mean Bitcoin would replace or be dead. From the beginning of the Bitcoin journey, there were FUDers, and still they are doing their task. But who cares? Bitcoin is doing its own job by growing rapidly. No FUD could stop Bitcoin now.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast / easy / cheap / free way to create my own altcoin? on: December 21, 2023, 09:15:54 PM
Coin creation is quite complicated, but you can create a token very easily. If you don't know the difference between a token and a coin, then research it. So you may read this: A step-by-step beginner's guide to creating your first cryptocurrency token. You should have the coding skills to code a token or simply use third-party tools to create tokens, like Cointools, that allow you to deploy your own tokens. If you can deploy yourself, then it will cost you just deployment transaction fees. Third-party tools would cost you a bit more.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading new listed coin/token on: December 21, 2023, 09:03:56 PM
When a token decides to list on an exchange, the exchange provides two market-making accounts and a trading bot to make volume and keep enough liquidity to trade. So bots and market makers push the chart at the beginning, and we are unable to place trades before the bots and market-making teams. That's how listing works. We are able to place a trade after a few minutes, and then the chart becomes almost stable. Even if you are holding a token on the exchange from other sources, most likely you can't sell it at its top price. Because you won't place the trade.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin as digital currency on: December 21, 2023, 08:54:28 PM
It's true that Bitcoin is digital money that has been using cryptography. But it's not related to being poor or becoming rich. Also, I don't see anything to work hard on Bitcoin. The main goal of Bitcoin is to transfer money worldwide without third parties using a p2p computer system. But due to volatile behaviour, we are taking advantage by investing in Bitcoin. To be honest, the goal has become an investment opportunity lately. However, Bitcoin is already a digital currency, not a future one. Either the centralised government accepts or not, Bitcoin been used worldwide.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin miners extorting people that are making transaction? on: December 21, 2023, 08:43:43 PM
Many people are blaming miners for manipulating transaction fees. I believe there is something wrong that we don't know. Otherwise, fees become unrealistic, surpassing Ethereum transaction fees. There aren't a lot of BRC20-standard tokens compared to Ethereum. But how dramatically are transaction fees increasing? When we need to spend our bitcoin, we can't wait to see when the transaction fees will be lower. We have to spend whenever we need to. Most likely, miners want to maximise their profits before the halving. Developers should think of something to reduce transaction fees.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 21, 2023, 08:34:12 PM
No, I am not expecting ETF approval this year. The exact time would be determined only by SEC; there are no chances for a forecast. I wish ETF approval after halving so we could see a real bull market. Only ETF approval alone won't push for a real bull, though we may see a short pump. Transaction fees have become a real concern for Bitcoin, which would make us sad in case we see some negative news about it. So I wish to delay ETF approval a few more weeks to normal transaction fees. So everything would be positive, which would help us see a bull market again.
430  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STOP! Before you become a prey of a scammer! on: December 20, 2023, 09:16:09 PM
I often receive messages on social media with attractive offers, especially on Telegram. Instead of clicking links or focusing on their messages, I simply block them and report spam. You have to control your greed if you want to protect yourself from scammers. Scammers develop themselves from time to time and find the latest way to deceive us. They might hack or directly scam us. Also, a lot of phishing emails are coming; I just mark them as spam and report them. So everyone should control greed.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything to worry about if you use mixers and not doing anything illegal? on: December 20, 2023, 08:43:48 PM
You have to worry about using Mixer when you are using centralised platforms like exchange and wallet services. Binance is already spotting transactions related to mixers and asking to provide a source of funds. You may definitely face this kind of issue when using the mixing service. The forum didn't prevent you from discussing related mixers, but don't advise with mixer links or don't hint to use mixers. I think you have to find alternatives when you want to protect your privacy and hide your funds. We have to use swaps or decentralised exchanges to protect privacy. I feel it is better to avoid mixers since they are facing a lot of legal issues lately. Law enforcement agencies consider money laundering whoever uses mixers. So you would be one of them if law enforcement could detect you.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whole Concept of Bitcoin is Failing! on: December 20, 2023, 08:22:21 PM
First of all, transaction fees ultimately increase when the price of bitcoin increases. At that time, the Bitcoin network became congested, and most of the time we calculated transaction fees in USD. The current network is congested due to a few BRC20 tokens, and it has become hype. So when the hype is over, the network will be normal. Basically, we can't prevent anyone from using the Bitcoin network. But we have to wait to end the hype and trend. These projects would dry out day by day, I believe. Otherwise, miners and developers have to find an alternative solution to reduce the fees.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 20, 2023, 08:11:28 PM
When you show your wallet to someone, it means you have compromised your privacy. It doesn't matter if he is your friend or a relative. You know about your friend, but we don't know if he deserves to see your wallet. It isn't necessary to show your personal wallet when you are trying to convince someone to invest in Bitcoin. I advise you to always protect your privacy and be careful. We can trust our friends, but privacy is a matter. However, it is good to see you convince your friend to buy Bitcoin with the DCA strategy, which is a good strategy. Keep up this good work by always protecting your privacy.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best piece of advice to anyone going into bitcoin on: December 20, 2023, 08:00:30 PM
What you want to express is called the DCA strategy. It means to buy whenever you can, especially on every dip. This strategy is very well known, and we are all aware of it. Most likely, the OP is still not aware of that DCA strategy; hence, I feel you should learn about it and how it works. Still, you are a newbie and have to learn a lot of things here. Though there is no restriction on creating an advisable topic for newbies, it's always better to have proper knowledge of what you are going to write. Anyway, this strategy is one of the most popular for bitcoin investment.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin community are in support of BRC20 on: December 19, 2023, 09:21:45 PM
Simply pumping by traders and the market-making team. When a token gets listed on an exchange, there are traders and market makers as well. Whales will also work to pump a token price; this is called call manipulation. There is a lot of syndicate work behind a token when it pumps without marketing or without community. But sometimes emotions would pump as well. Each exchange has a trading community that creates volume there. Sometimes they start focusing on a token, and that's how they start pumping as well. But we don't know the true reason, actually.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 19, 2023, 09:14:29 PM
I don't think Bitcoin could help reduce poverty where the entire economy has been facing inflation. Inflation increased globally, so the problem isn't limited to a single jurisdiction where Bitcoin could help. Bitcoin is also part of the economy and can't play any role in reducing poverty. There is no alternative to earning bitcoin if you want to reduce poverty, which is impossible. Otherwise, you have to invest, which isn't possible for poor people. We have to reduce inflation first to reduce poverty. Bitcoin would help, just like any other currency.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitwise The Year Ahead: 10 Crypto Predictions for 2024 on: December 19, 2023, 07:53:45 PM
Prediction 1 is related to Prediction 2. So both are interesting to me. If the Bitcoin ETF gets approved, then there is no doubt that Bitcoin will trade above $80K, and it will grow above $100K as well for some time. Its because of ETF hype and also for halving. Bitcoin halving is very near, and it is possible that Bitcoin ETF is near too. If both happen together or near each other, then Bitcoin will skyrocket. We may not see Bitcoin's current price as it is trading now. However, it's my expectation, not predictions. In crypto, anything would happen at any time, and it would break all our expectations.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone paid $450K for three (extremely) pixelated cartoon characters on: December 19, 2023, 07:39:57 PM
I never got involved with NFT stupidity. I don't see why I should pay for something that is only art or an image on the internet. Why do I have to win it anyway? I'm not sure if it's money laundering or just a stupid act. NFT is nothing for me, though I buy alt coins sometimes but never NFT. From the beginning, I hated NFT and didn't bother myself with any NFT printing or buying. You guys may love or like it, but I don't see the reason.
439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I earn merit? on: December 18, 2023, 08:04:40 PM
I would like to welcome all new forum members. But you must have patience and read forum threads to understand forum cultures. Creating merit threads by newbies is really not appreciated here since you are too lazy to read and search. You may simply use the forum search button in case you need to know something. A ton of merit discussion threads have been created here, and you may learn from them instead of just creating new threads. You have to improve yourself on the forum. It's not necessary to reply to every thread, and you don't need to make a faster reply as well. Develop yourself and contribute to the forum. Merit would come based on your contribution.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What factors influence the price of Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2023, 07:53:38 PM
Make sure you haven't plagiarised the content or haven't used any AI tools to create this post. Because it seems like a pretty valuable post from a newbie. Though these aren't new, you gather information together. Almost all users here who spend a good time know how the Bitcoin price actually works. Most of the time, investors demand and supply keep the role on the Bitcoin price. Out of that positive news, investors are motivated to buy Bitcoin from where we see price movements. In the same way, negative news also creates FUD and fear that drive downtrends in the Bitcoin price. There are many more facts behind Bitcoin price movements; I just mentioned a few major ones.
