421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Knowledge vs Degree from big universities like MIT, harvad, stanford on: March 14, 2023, 08:50:19 AM
my question is , is it important to get admission in big universities like MIT, harvard, and get degree from these universities or I can get admission in small universities of my choice and gain knowledge equivalent of these toppers, and big universities students,

knowledge vs degree from MIT.
what are pros and cons in both(regular universities and MIT,harvard, etc)

Acquiring right and sufficient knowledge is more important.  It doesn't matter where the knowledge is acquired from. What's important is to be refined and qualified.

If it were possible to even "self study" and go to such big universities to be tested for true knowledge and qualify for their degrees/certificates,  in a short period of time, I would encourage people to go for it.
422  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Using Nostr to facilitate a Mobile friendly Bitcoin/Fiat Decentralized Exchange on: March 13, 2023, 10:35:58 AM
My observed issues with alot of Decentralized exchanges is the manner they carry out their p2p transactions which can be quite slow, heavy and costly. A decentralized exchange can function like cex if developers can find a way of locking users funds in some sort of multisig or smart-contract. Users can then trade between each other or with the exchanges (who could aswell act as providers of multiple currencies) with something that represents the locked currencies (sort of uids like the CEXs do) free of charge.  Traders currencies can be unlocked after trading, with exchange fees and gains/loses deducted or added to their final balances. And then they can move their final balance to their addresses

This should work on simple or mobile-friendly platform. And the platform should be immutable, censorship resistant, permissionless/trustless, transparent  and somewhat decentralized.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you interpret the fluctuation of Bitcoin price ? on: March 10, 2023, 04:26:16 PM
Bitcoin has been made to work against people who don't really understand or care about it but want to gain unfairly from it. If you care about it and believe it will be worth 30,000 tommorow, others could begin to say thesame thing making things look like they are the ones making the 30,000 prediction. If it gets to that price they will take the credit that belongs to another and probably make huge amount of money from it. This is the issue those who care currently face. You just need to find a way to get around this... If you say rain will fall Sat by 2pm and people start saying thesame thing, how do you make sure it rains exactly that time without copycats taking the credit? You make sure it fails to fall tommorow by 2pm to decredit the copycats and get it to fall another Saturday 2pm. Problem solved.

424  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is sex education bad on a child? on: March 10, 2023, 10:13:48 AM
I understand that children or teenagers are not allowed to know so many things especially sex activities but this days if you don't teach them someone else will.

So we are in a modern world where things are fast changing. What do you think? Is good to teach your children sex education or thy should be allow to grow on their terms? Is sex education good for a child?

When it comes to such education, better to teach them to keep their virginities and the consequences of not doing so. Always monitor what they consume, watch or see. Get them to be very open to you about things that involve sex they consumed, saw, watched or feel. Make sure to destroy every sexual seed that may have been planted in their minds with good opposites, else the seeds grow in them and they become slaves to sexual sins. If they are overcome by lust, get them isolated for couple of days and feed them with things that suppress the lust. Feed them with the Word of GOD especially where the evil of lust and its consequences is specifically mentioned. Repeat it several times until the Words heal them.
At the right time, you could teach them about their sexual parts and what they are used for, how to take care of them(like keeping it clean) and how to and how not to use them.

Teach them never to mingle with pervert as they could be turn into pervert. Teach them never to stay alone with the opposite sex. They should only be in public where speaking about sex or getting involved in sexual activities is frowned at, or at home in the presence of responsible guardian/parent

Below is the Word of GOD in Audio form. Feed them especially with Proverbs (number 20) and the New Testament

Break the $25,000 resistance, let it be the new support.

All Glory be to the CREATOR of the Universe. This is impossible without HIM.

They are complaining again & becoming pessimistic.

Let move it to +$25,000. The bull has gathered enough energy to break the resistance. $25,000 will now become the new support. The movement should from now onward.

This is impossible without GOD. All Glory be to HIM.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Ripple CEO Says Crypto Industry Has to Rebuild Trust on: March 09, 2023, 02:42:27 PM
Well, the trust was meant by Satoshi to be in fraud-proof features that always follow the right rules/programs with no freewill to cheat or choose to be evil. But certain people/things weakened the features. It's like keeping a vending machine in a public or trustless environment for users, but you have to be worried about the vending machine getting corrupted or reprogrammed to cheat if it not decentralized, immutable, transparent, and allowing anyone to checks and balances it for correctness or obedience to its rules.
True cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is designed to be more trustworthy than corrupted/lawless humans who have ultimate control/power over people's assets without proper checks and balances. Satoshi came up with a way to tackle this problem by building system that should always obey the rules that guides it. Still, you have to be worried about a corrupt/lawless humans changing the rules or not following it by centralizing the system, making it opaque, mutable, Etc. Isn't that the issue with Ripple and false cryptocurrencies?

427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Free knowledge vs certificate on: March 09, 2023, 01:42:06 PM
1. I really get confused thinking about this, is it important to have certificate of everything i learn, or any skill,
you know in this internet world, how easy it is to gain knowledge through books, free MIT videos on youtube, youtube, educational websites, etc.
is it important to have certificate of everything i have learned,
can i get job in companies, after showing my knowledge about that specific skill/subject/ without certificates.

2. Blockchain and....

Very interesting question. It's actually important but not necessary. I actually prefer a certificate-less employee who can do his/her job really well.... compared to someone who knows little to nothing but is certified on a mere Certificate that he/she knows or can do the job very well. Very disgusting thing to experience.

Certificate just makes things easy for the truely qualified in a dumb world. But if you are smart enough you easily can qualify for right job without it.

428  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have any financial regrets ? on: March 08, 2023, 04:50:11 PM
Mine would be not living poor before now. Having access to alot of liquid cash probably made me less creative. I wished i locked up all past earnings just to pretend to be poor and never lack in creativity.

Working for Bitcoin has actually helped refine me. It kind of helped me learn alot about money and "forced" me to practice what I preached.

* Pretending to poor is also the best opportunity to discover your fake friends or people who just "love" you because of your money.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: March 08, 2023, 04:08:57 PM
I have seen very healthy food which includes a pieces of meat that sold slightly below that price. Been abit long I visited that place (probably a year plus now)
Things are cheaper now compared to then so I expect them to sell below former price or at most still maintain the price.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 07, 2023, 06:09:20 PM
You could blame it on inadequate production of goods/services to meet demand, and fiat currencies printed out of thin air mainly for consumption. If a particular product is in high demand and getting scarce, the price would naturally go up. So it's better to produce more of the products to meet demand than consuming them more probably by people who aren't very productive yet are getting alot of money they don't deserve. The problem with fiat currency is that they are easy to produce and not necessarily by hardwork...this typical makes them inflationary, because they are printed, accessed quickly and used up quickly, likely by people who don't deserve them... while it takes time and energy to earn currencies (like Bitcoin) that are based on hardwork and this makes the products they would be bought with to remain in the market longer, consequently making their supply to be higher than demand (especially in hardwork based society)while the workers are producing more products.
Am for paying more to people who contribute/produce more and less to people who contribute/produce less. That could help in slowing down inflation
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash dev says ‘sequel’ to crypto mixer aims to be regulator-friendly on: March 07, 2023, 04:05:06 PM
Decentralized Crypto addresses should simply be color coded, label or tagged according to immoral/illegal things they are used for. A proper mixer can just reject those that are coded red. Users of the mixing site can decide whether to mix with those below red, but they really still have to be careful with them.

Decentralized transparent and open-source platform should be used for colour coding addresses in evidence-based manner.  It's not necessary to tag every address... Just focus more on address used for harmful or dangerous purposes. Everyone should freely and fairly participate, with no immoral merit/ranking system to deprive the best from ranking up and having more influence on the platform. A satanic/evil ranking system will spell doom for the platform. So much power given to organized cyber crooks/gangsters to determine what address is good/evil is dangerous for True Cryptocurrency space.

Records of untagged/neutral addresses can still be held by the right mixers in decentralized/privacy-friendly manner just incase criminals slipped through into a mixer  or incase they are needed for investigations using tech like safe Zero Knowledge Proof. A ZKP could be considered safe if there is absolutely no way the information can be deciphered by the unauthorized, or stolen/known by evil AI for example.

432  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Lawmakers Reintroduce Bill to Force Crypto Miners to Disclose Emissions on: March 06, 2023, 03:54:35 PM
They should blame miners who aren't using energy efficiently and in environmentally friendly manner.
To use energy efficiently means that very little to no energy goes to waste. You can use the energy efficiently by sending the by-products such as heat to people's homes to warm them during winter, by building energy efficient miners that use energy efficiently to avoid generating too much heat, or the heat byproduct generated by the miners can be used to generate more energy. The use of current energy-demanding miners could be justified if they are used to warm people's homes and save them from dying from cold.
By the way, it's actually smart to build miners that have multiple uses. They will be hard to stop or censor. You can as well tell government that what you bought are heaters that generate money at thesame time. How cool is that.
433  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Transfer bitcoins without internet on: March 03, 2023, 04:48:24 PM
Still, there could be lots of limitations we may experience with physical bitcoin like we may not get exact denomination to pay or volatility of bitcoin prices might become a concern for the entire concept of paying in physical bitcoins.

Far more importantly is the issue of trust. You have to trust that the person who made the physical bitcoin did not secretly keep a copy of the private key for themselves and could steal your coins at any time.
.....

The power of evidence-based public trust rating by customers should not be underestimated. If a company does something untrustworthy, customer can just report it with proof, then other companies will want to do better to have better rating and outcompet the ones with bad rating who we expect should be punished if proven guilty. Customers also will avoid those with proven bad report/ratings.

In regards to what the poster you quoted said, I think we could just compensate the price change by giving changes to customers. If a customer comes to pay for a product that is worth $5 with $5 worth of physical satoshi, the seller can just give the customer $1 change if the satoshi becomes $6. Ofcourse you may still need the internet to observe the Bitcoin price change .. Alternatively the village could use fm, short or medium wave radio stations to monitor price change by dedicated price monitoring/broadcasting stations
434  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many peoples in the world had lost their Bitcoin private keys? 🔑 on: March 03, 2023, 02:37:22 PM
I have always wanted to ask this question, how many people people have lost their private key in the world today, or some die or cannot remember it. God knows in total how many were lost in the year 2017/2018/2020/2021and all . Details of this may be useful as a reference to. Does it really mean that the Bitcoin are now lost or use less?

Lost private keys = lost bitcoins = a minus to the supply or amount of bitcoins in circulation.  If Bitcoin supply is less than its demand the price of could go up.  Satoshi once said:
“Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.”

That 👆 always makes me uncomfortable.
I actually hope it's possible to recover lost coins in the future with something like biometric. A very decentralized and secure biometric system tied to owner's coins should do.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my friend advice to bitcoin on: March 02, 2023, 06:26:05 PM
A friend of mine was very much addicted to this game and used to spend whole day playing various games like p**b*g free fire. I said to my friend what's the point of you playing so many games. Just top up the game and waste money.
So I gave a suggestion to my friend, friend, you waste your time playing games all day long. That's the time you can come to bitcoin forum and discuss bitcoin with everyone. And once you know what Bitcoin is, you can invest. I told my friend that bitcoin is a digital crypto currency. Which will pump a lot at one time. Now if you invest in Bitcoin, you can get a lot of profit at one time. I want to know if it is appropriate to give this advice to my friend?

Well, first of all I think it's important to be sure Bitcoin is his/her kind of thing. One of the best ways to know this is to let him/her know why Bitcoin was invented. If he buys into it then you could encourage him to contribute to the continuous development of Bitcoin either through financial contributions/investment or by participating directly in the development of the system. He can also be taught to use it for transactions.
Ofcourse, you can let him know about the financial benefits and the profitability of Bitcoin investments... and how to minimize investment risk and maximize profit. There is always the right time to invest and the right time to take profit when he needs to.

Don't serve money, instead let money serve you. To be served by money is to do your job/work really well that people come looking for you very willing to pay whatever is right for your products. You are in control when this start happening.
436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Demilitarization of Iran and Russia. The path to peace and tranquility on Earth on: March 02, 2023, 10:27:43 AM
Tonight marked the defeat of Iranian military enterprises. The goal is to reduce the danger from rabid terrorists who dream of destroying Israel, the secondary effect is to stop or minimize the supply of UAVs and possibly ballistic missiles from Iran, the technologically backward Russian army.

Where it leads ? There are not many options, but very few real ones. The regime of fanatics will probably try to raise a tantrum against Israel, but ... The Iranian regime of the ayatollah will not dare to start real military operations against Israel. They know perfectly well that although relations between Israel and the United States are tense, the United States guarantees the preservation of Israel And the blow to Iran will be global. There is nothing like the Russian army - destroying peaceful cities and killing unarmed citizens of Ukraine. The blow will be inflicted on the top of Iran, the generals, the "tame dogs of the regime" such as the guards, warehouses, barracks. Those. totalitarian power will be destroyed in the literal sense, from the head to the servants, and power will be transferred to the free people of Iran!

Also waiting for Russia. After its start of economic terror against the EU, about 15 years ago, before unleashing a terrorist war in Europe, against Ukraine, Russia made itself a pariah all over the world, revealing all the fakeness of its politics, economy, military power. But if Iran is a "local terrorist", then Russia is an international terrorist, without any morality. Therefore, Russia is waiting not only for demilitarization, but also for total denazification, and ideally, the division of Russia into several independent states.

Interested in your opinion about the 3-5-10 year prospects for the process of "pacifying" the international terrorists mentioned above and others falling under their description.

I'm not fan of the Iranian regime but I know the main reason for all this is their refusal to sanction or move against Russia. I actually wish they stay completely neutral so fools don't think they are part of the reasons why Russia is currently being used to defeat the combine strength of "world's most powerful nations".

You somehow managed to make this look like Russia and Isreal are enemy, by involving Iran who is not in good terms with Isreal. Well the current Isreal regime seems to be intelligent because he is trying as much as possible not to provoke Russia. And he most likely knew the Hand of GOD is this, in favour of Russia against her enemies.
One of the most interesting thing in all this is that Babylon is prophesized to attack and conquer Isreal. There Will be heavy destruction from the Israel's attacker

In regards to Russia destroying peaceful cities, I wonder what you will do if terrorists take over the city you love by taking over civilian buildings and using them as human shield... I guess you will move innocent civilians to safe locations if you foresee this happening. That's what Russia was made to do and they did. It's part of the reasons she's currently having alot of refugees in Russia from Ukraine.  Don't forget that this is also one of the main reasons the Russia's Special military operation has been slowed down. Russia was made to be concerned about the innocent civilians. Im OK with Russia completely destroying any building or infrastructure that is used for evil. The innocent should be moved away from the buildings first, to safe locations. If Russia can get them out then we will permit her to destroy the the buildings that are used for evil and by terrorists. Brave fighters are not suppose to be inside civilian buildings with innocent civilians to fight an opponent.

In regards to the last highlight (the underlined and bolded). Ofcourse, that is the Russias term for the nazis in Ukraine. And I read Nazis are group of people who believe they are superior to other races and want to dominate them. Guess who that best describes? Colonialists. Ofcourse, for their Colonial agenda to be fully successful they have to subdue nations like Russia, China, Ethiopia, etc, weaken or break them in pieces like you want Russia to be broken in pieces or into weaker nations/regions. The true nazis exposed yet again^^

...
The more you study the net, the more you'll fall in love with it. Bitcoin brings that power of freedom and no totalitarian state is going to take that away! That's my thought today about btc.

Ofcourse, Bitcoin (the System/Network) is for the Free. Those who do not deserve to be slave or in jail are considered the Free and are qualified to use it. It helps protect the free from the lawless but It does not protect the criminals/slaves from the authoritarians though, hence its  transparency/accountability, immutablity features... One of the purposes of the features is to expose them.

When you love Bitcoin (the system) you are loving the people who operate it, make up the Bitcoin Network, and make it work. The love goes to them all. Thanks

Have you checked your attitude towards money lately? What is "your dream"?  bigger home, a bigger car, private schools, branded drink, gold?...

Money for for things that are important in life: you family, your people, health, well being, ... Do not be afraid to spend the money on your people when they really need it, but be wary of spending it on stu**pid things and if you think your car and your clothes are important, you may want to start thinking if you have any significant goal in life and where does it get you in the next 10 years.

People generally should spend more on good things that benefit others more rather than on things that benefit just themselves and family. Things you buy should be profitable enough for you, to the extent that what you spend in buying them can be recovered at the right time.
I have nothing against bigger home, bigger vehicle, private school, etc, just make sure you use them in such a way that they can pay for themselves without additional funds from elsewhere going into them.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Disrupting our Financial Landscape? on: February 28, 2023, 09:15:36 AM
As we all know that Bitcoin is firstly introduced to us for it's convenience and numerous benefits. Being banked or underbanked, we can still enjoy the benefits and the accessibility of transactions as long as we have access to internet. Another benefit also is the anonimity it gives to people(although some would probably say not totally). By this, it is only right to say that Bitcoin has the potential to completely transform the way we think about money and finance. Compared to what we traditionally knew about finance, cryptocurrencies and bitcoin allows an individual to participate on the global economy without much requirement that otherwise it would be impossible. Although this is beneficial for developing countries, where traditional banking services may not be available or accessible, we couldn't deny the fact that it is slowly changing or disrupting the financial structure that we knew.

what do you guys think?

In regards to Bitcoin being anonymity-friendly, that is one of its most important feature. It's actually how a good financial system should operate in a trustless/public space. It uses the anonymity for the protection of its users who do transactions with people they don't know or trust.
I have notice how vulnerable people could be in traditional financial system when it come to preserving people privacy/anonymity. Imagine giving people you don't know really well your bank details which typically includes full names. It's actually an evil system. And Bitcoin is part of the solution to this lack of protection for users.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there so much resistance for Bitcoin reaching $25,000 on: February 28, 2023, 08:40:38 AM
The last quarter of the month of February 2023 has been filled with so many market behaviours and uncertainties, bitcoin made every attempt to hold on to the 25,000 prices but each time it reaches that milestone it gets to pull back.   This has happened several within the last one two weeks and this action has called for more speculation from spectators on what direction the price will go, just as there have been financial instability in the global economy will Bitcoin follow the same pattern as the traditional economy or will it break out in the face of uncertainties to move beyond the 25k BTC price.

It's a barrier set in the minds/trades of price movers, which is currently removed.

By the way, don't you think it will be strange for price to continue moving from $16,000 to over $30,000 in just a short time without a pause or small pullbacks? That is about 100% gain while 16,000 to 25,000  is about 56% (25,000—16,000/16,000 Χ100% = 9000/16000 Χ100% = 9000/160= 56.25%) gain, in a short time..This is predictable/guaranteed profit,. Where else can you make such percentage of profit that's guaranteed, in few months? We really need to be very grateful & thankful sometimes.
I hope we don't easily forget what things were like when price hit $30,000.
