4341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 19, 2023, 09:09:41 AM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!

New meme coins are coming out because we're closer to the bull market and scammers are looking to deceive investors into investing in there scam projects so they can defraud new investors thinking they can make profits from investing in meme project and hoping they become as successful as Shiba Inu, and the most recent which is Pepecoin has succeeded in the market.
Memecoins investment are very risky and shoudn't be done if you're still very new to the market because you won't be able to differentiate between the legitimate memecoins to the scam ones. They both look similar but if you have experiment you can tell when a project isn't legit. They have so many too good to be true behavior like promising high return on investment.
Next bull market will be full of memecoins and it'll be the focus of investors that's why exchanges are listing memecoins all of a sudden because they're expecting big traffic of customers to be interested in them and that's going to make them big profits from trading fees. We haven't had a memecoin bull run yet as we did with defi, Metaverse and other trends in previous bull market.
4342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: July 19, 2023, 08:33:27 AM
BNB is best currency for buy and holding therw has no doubt. Now BNB price is low price i think. If anyone buy bnb and hold he will be must benefited i think. I am already huge profited form bnb. Before covid  when bnb price was $14 i was bought 30 pices bnb and i sold it when it’s price were $350. So i am huge profited form bnb. After my sold bnb price hited $650+. But now bnb price near about $250. And bnb now huge popular currency. I think when bull run session will come bnb price will hit easily $1k there has no doubt. So overall thinking my advice now perfect time to buy BNB.

BNB isn't a currency, it's a token used on the Binance blockchain and has other utility on the Binance exchange like been used for payment of fees when trading and used for buying of launchpad tokens that can give you big profits when they get listed. I'm interested in investing in BNB but I won't be investing right now because of the SEC investigation against them.
The SEC has been trying to get Binance exchange and I think they'll get them one day and that'll affect the price of their tokens. Binance exchange has avoided the SEC but I don't think they're totally clean. We have dirty secrets and I think Binance exchange has theirs as well and when the SEC finds them they'll come hard on the exchange and it would drive away investors.
I thought Binance coin would fall as others tokens did fall but it hasn't done so and it makes me think the price of the tokens is been manipulated. My buy target is around $150. I still have my buy orders at the price and hoping it gets filled before the halving of Bitcoin rewards get completed next year.
4343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: July 19, 2023, 08:22:06 AM
I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.

Ethereum is one of the project that'll do very well in the next bull market, this is because other projects build their tokens on Ethereum and its biggest competitor which was Solana has been eliminated. Although Solana is still trading on exchanges but it doesn't have the trust of the community as it did last bull market and now they're been threatened to be a security tokens.
Ethereum is like a safe place to invest just like investing in Bitcoin is, this two coins can always make you profits but their profits mightn't be as big as others altcoins but you won't lose like how other cryptocurency will make you lose if the market was to dump. Ethereum has so many development going on and Ether can now be staked to get more ether and profits too.
Ethereum is now trading at $1,900 which means you would have made $100 profit if you invested in just one Ethereum when the OP made this post last month. The potential of Ethereum is very big because it's the coin with the second highest market capitalization and it means people know the project and will be interested in investing in it because they know it can make them rich.
4344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 19, 2023, 08:02:05 AM
.
Here are signs that a crypto project may be a scam:

1. Lack of transparency: A legitimate crypto project should have clear information about its team, its technology, and its roadmap. If a project fails to provide this information, or only offers vague promises, it could be a sign that they are hiding something.

This is the first thing you should be looking at in a project before deciding to invest or not because if you invest into a project that has no transparency, you'll be left in the dark always and there's a high possiblity of the project turning into a scam as investors won't know the moves the developers of the project are taking to protect their investment by selling or keep holding.
Scam project always hide things or use fake credentials as they know if the community gets to know about what they hiding, they'll be exposed and their trick to scam more users will fail. If you noticed a project isn't been transparent you should sell your investment immediately and exit the project as this type of project always end in one way and that's exit scams.
When a project keep promising their investors unrealistic promises it means they have no product to show and only depending on their promises to retain their own investors. Also when a project only talks about the possibility of them having a particular price target in few years, you should sell all your investment because that project is full of bullshit and a scam token.
4345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: July 19, 2023, 07:48:10 AM
Many people have gained trust that we are automatically back to the bullrun, this made them to be free in choosing altcoin and newly launched tokens without knowing that cryptocurrency price action and movement are so unpredictably. It could be high at this very moment and In the next few moments we may witness a serious dip without knowing what propelled to such rejection in price.

We're not in the bull season at the moment and you can observe that with the way bitcoin has been moving sideways and anybody telling you that we're in a bull season is lying to you. Altcoins seasons won't also be coming until we're done with Bitcoin halving as that's when the market becomes more attractive to investors as they make preparation for the bull season that's about to start.
Investing in altcoins should be done with smartness, you shouldn't invest because you feel the bull market is about to start instead you should wait for confirmation so you are sure you're not making the wrong decision. Bitcoin could pullback and all the altcoins goes backwards and causes you losses. Bitcoin isn't showing positive price movement yet so we have to relax.
Just keep storing money that you'll use to buy your favorite coins when the movement of the market is about to show some positive signals and I think that'll become very strong starting from next year as that's the year we'll be having the most anticipated event in the industry history which is the halving event that'll reduced the amount of block rewards miners are getting.
4346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: July 19, 2023, 07:20:04 AM
How can I understand a meme coin's position in the current market? Is there any way to tell if it will be good or bad? I have seen MEXC exchange add many meme tokens daily. How to identify a good token from here?

Memecoins are becoming very popular and because of their large circulating supply they bring big trading volumes to an exchange that list them and that's why exchanges are listing memecoins. Binance exchange recently listed some memecoins as well and also Kucoin exchange has been doing this too,  so it isn't only MEXC exchange that's trying to get trading volumes from listing memecoins.
Memecoins are just like gambling, you'll never know which one will be successful, $pepe just came out and it's popular and successful more than others that were already in existence and that's why you can't predict which meme project will receive a welcoming hand from the community of investors. One way to tell if a meme is good or bad is to look at the team behind the project.
The team can be anonymous but are they doing the right things like been very transparent with their decision and there's no hidden secrets in the smart contract that can make them dump tokens on the market and run a way with investors money. Also look at the marketing strategy by the team before investing because only memecoins that advertise very well get recognized.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 19, 2023, 07:10:01 AM
My question here is if airdrops and bounties are still good means of getting good tokens for free that can worth something some day as we wait for the bull. In the past bounties and airdrops used to be profitable and alot of people rushed them. Am not referring to bounties as in signature bounties that we have here. Am talking about websites outside this forum that give minor social media tasks and then pay in tokens.

Bounties and Airdrops are still a means of getting free tokens but many of those tokens don't get worth as much as they did in previous years because the market has gone from the stage of making everything to pump when Bitcoin pumps to only selecting few projects that can stand out due to the quality of their projects and marketing campaign by the projects.
As the bull market near us, we have to be mindful of the project will promote because many scams will be launched so you might waste your time promoting a project through bounties and airdrop and still get nothing as the project is a scam that won't list on exchanges but they'll run away with investors money or some won't list in top tier exchanges to bring trading volume.
Instead of chasing after airdrop and bounties that you aren't sure if you'll receive any payment from this projects, you can get a side hustle that pays you salary like a job so you can use that salary to buy some altcoins yourself and hold them, to be sold after the bull market. You'll make more profits if you do this and it won't be as stressful as doing airdrop and bounties tasks.
4348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 18, 2023, 09:36:54 PM

In fact, each of us decides for himself at what age he wants to get acquainted with gambling and no age restrictions can stop the interest of a teenager. It seems to me that the majority of forum members played gambling for the first time when they were not yet 18 years old. At least in my country card games and dice are widespread enough on the street and any underage teenager can play with the money he saves if he wants.
Alot of individuals started at a very tender age and were influenced into street gambling by friends due to peer pressure  and most of these people are high school students that are not even up to 18 which i still don't consider an age for gambling, now most of the said teenager grow with this gambling mentality and tend to move from streets gambling into casinos when they finally have the funds to do so, if not discovered and tamed from the teenage age, these set of people are the ones that aee likely to becomes addicts because they grew hacing that mentality of gambling because their was no one to caution or let them know the consequences of their gambling activities
However the required age by most online casinos in different countries is 18 but to me I prefer 21 years because most 18years are still not matured enough to control their actions and most of them are still financially backed by their parents they feel comfortable when they lose because they don't know the stress of making money and could fall back to their parents for more funds.
4349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 18, 2023, 09:09:42 PM

Unfortunately, addiction is difficult to diagnose by yourself, but it's easy from the aside (friends). But there is one sure way - you need to do something else. Just as exciting and interesting. And see how much it will pull to play. Unfortunately, gambling is very accessible now because of the phones, one has only to make a couple of clicks and now the bet is made, and the excitement is back again.
Now that I've watched a lot of videos with gambling addicts (I advise everyone to watch such videos periodically), I understand how scary and hard it is. And it's almost impossible to get out of this alone.
It is good that we have such a conscious and responsible society at the forum, which will always help with advice.

Yes you're right and also most people who where able to discover their addiction for gambling, find it difficult to quit, due to several factors and like you said the internet and technology also have made it very easy for people to get addicted to gambling because there where times when distance, weather, and other factors do hinder people from going to the casino daily, but currently  gamblers doesn't need to worry about going to the casino because they could do it from the comfort of their homes all they just need is a good device and an internet connection which is becoming very easy to access even in the rural areas.
It's very important to try as much as possible to resist the addiction of gambling because apart from losing money it has other negative and harmful effect like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, mental disorder due to much thinking therefore if you have a friend or relative that you notice is finding it difficult for a day to pass by without staking a bet it is your responsibility to put them in order and advise them of the consequences of addictive gambling because once they become additicted most times it seems difficult to quit.
4350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 18, 2023, 07:35:58 PM
Everyone keeps talking about how Pep took a big club and made it just bigger and he never managed a bad team and all that. That's the only criticism that I have seen about him, but there are two points that are marginally wrong and I believe City will get it again. First of all, he always refreshes his squads, he does sell some players, and puts a bit of money on top of it and gets new ones, sure he spent some serious money at times, but he is not the manager who spent the most money, yet still managed to get the most cups.

What people forget to understand is that  whether he's only coached big teams who's backed him up with funds to sign his preferred players, it takes a good coach to come into a team and handle them perfectly like Pep Guardiola does there are other coaches that have coached some top European club but didn't leave up to the standards of Guardiola let's take for instance Chelsea fc was aquire by a rich owner Todd bohyle who back the club with funds for new signings bringing in about 9 signings last summer and added more in the January window, spending up to £666m, more than the total spending of last transfer window for Laliga and Bundesliga but still didn't finish in the top 4 and not able to win any trophy last season, that alone should tell you how good Pep is, he's a kind of coach that would transform a club and make his players perform at a very high level so far the club is ready to back him up, he knows the type of players that suit his pattern of football and go for them also bring out their best but then some fans would want to criticize his success claiming he's successful because he's only coached big clubs, as if coaching or handling a club with world class players is a very easy task to carry out, all those critics should consider his style of playing, ability in reading the game and changing it when he feels threatened by an opposition team in a match , passion for winning, good at improving players ability and many more.
4351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling everywhere on: July 18, 2023, 06:35:12 PM
Gambling gambling gambling everywhere there are gamblers everywere either online or shops and some gamblers are not happy to be one because they are addicted to it, now come to the present day question, how do you feel after making a stake? People on these forum mostly gambling board, lot of people here do say we should use spare money to make a bet (stake) but we all know that there is nothing like a spare money if people save money for future use I don't think a well thinking person will also save money for gambling, I think everybody who gambled sometimes does not know when they are in a gambling shops, just imagine you're about to check your past bets and you find your self about to stake another, please don't see it the other way round.
So if you use our saved money to stake a bet, what really comes next to your mind? I will like us to talk about this.

It's good to know that some people are not happy about their gambling addiction, because their are others who are not even aware of their addiction to it and have seen it as a part of their normal lifestyle, well acknowledging an addiction is a thing and working towards it is another thing, but the best way to handle addiction instead of being emotional about it is seeking help from therapist or other alternatives that would help them  minimise their interest for gambling, also people react differently based on the outcome of their stake and not before the outcome, because i see no reason to be joyful or sad when I've not known the outcome of my predictions.
When saving people also make plans for other activities apart from feeding, rent and other bills it could be for entertainment and gambling can be a form of entertainment, however it is very wise to gamble with a spare cash and In gambling it is considered as the money  whether little or huge amount you'll be willing to lose without feeling very remorseful, I belive that's why some people feel gambling is meant for the rich or middle class because poor people have no money they'll be willing to lose, but that statement is considered partially right by me because since gambling involves risk taking, there are some poor peole that would be willing to risk the little they have to stake on games knowing they stance a 50/50 chances of winning.
4352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 18, 2023, 04:38:25 PM

His behavior seems kinda abnormal, with his feelings changing all of a sudden.
Confused human being! It's like he can't make up his mind about what he really wants.
Last season, he made an interview to an Italian paper where he said he never wanted to come back to Chelsea. That statement makes everything even more complicated. Lukaku grew up at Chelsea, and the club means a lot to him, despite the loan or permanently transferred elsewhere. Lukaku is going through some serious confusion, and he really needs help. I wouldn't be happy see him betraying both Chelsea and Inter Milan at the same time. That would be really disappointing.

This shouldn't come as a suprise to you because as a football fan you should know that most players are good at taking  shocking decisions that would get fans wondering, during the transfer windows however I understand the point your trying to make because  Chelsea fc is his parent club not minding the fact that he was loaned to intermilan to reduce Chelsea's squad depth and also have a better experience, of which he did showcase himself in the previous UEFA Champions League final thereby letting the world know how good he is and how dangerous he could be to an opposition defence, starting in the top 9, that's enough reason for him to choose between any of these clubs to play for but he's still very undecisive of where he's going next, well I don't see that as a betrayal because it's a players choice to decide which club is suitable for him and wait for them to come get him.
Based on research I've discovered that the Belgian forward is refusing to attend training sessions with his parent club despite being ordered by the present head coach pochettino to do so  and also intermilan have pulled out of the race of signing him but talks are currently ongoing with juventus and it is said that some juventus fans have carried out protests and are kicking against his arrival to their club.
4353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: July 18, 2023, 03:46:43 PM
Though it's currently very common in online casinos to wager bonuses before they can be claimed, left to me I'll prefer to the bonuses to be claimed without wagering, I prefer and support the cashback where one could be able to claim some percentage of their lose, this compensation is very okay and would encourage gamblers to continue using any particular site that supports it , for example if am to stake 1k in my local on a particular game and lost, if given cashback I stand a chance of winning and recovering my lose when I used the money gotten from cashback to play again.
The cash back is very  available to most online casinos but what I love more about it is that it offers no wagering requirements and one could easily strategise with this reward, bet on another game and recover their losses, it's very easy to be claimed and can be claimed by any payment options of  the gamblers choice, apartment from the welcome bonus some casinos offer, the cashback is one of the best rewards one could get from an online casino. I dislike the referral bonus because it seems stressful trying to meet up the referral target and makes me lose hope on it when people barely use my referral link.
4354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 18, 2023, 03:12:57 PM
Boys. It is time to quit gamble. I created a topic about taking gambling as a major income or not and fought a lot of kind people who held an opposite point. I own them a truly apology. I am sorry. No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.

I hate gamble!

The fact that you hate gambling or have decided to quit, with some good reasons best known to you doesn't mean that you should discourage others about it or try using your experience to talk to them out of it, note that everyone won't make same mistakes like you do, and your focus should be on addicted gamblers and not all gamblers entirely because there are some people who apply risk management in gambling though it's not possible that you'll never experience loss in it but they make little losses and earn more, and I put it to you that you're wrong in saying people don't succeed in gambling cause there are also  punters who have become rich presently all thanks to gambling, what works for others might not work for you and if gambling doesn't work for you then you move on, and if for any reason you want to educate people with your experience I expect you to teach them the risk management in gambling like you've indirectly done, such as;
Gambling as a major source of income is wrong, seeing gamble as a form of entertainment, those are the kind of things you i expected of you to explain to gamblers about not discouraging them entirely about it thereby making people who gamble look silly, gambling is not bad but rather addictive gambling is, let's be guided please.
4355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 18, 2023, 02:42:56 PM
The next premier 2023/2024 season is fast approaching and  the top teams in the league are very busy In the current transfer window trying to bluster their team with new signings in preparation for the next season, while the market seems favourable for clubs like Arsenal, mancity and other few who are said to be enjoying the transfer window by acquiring talented players around Europe to strengthen the various depth of their squad, it maybe seem a little bit tough for some club's like city's neighbour Manchester united who are finding it tough in acquiring their preferred options in the market maybe due to the FFP rule holding them from spending much without a sell of players or the ongoing saga over the sale of the club.
Well there's still much time left before the current transfer window runs out and only time would tell which Club should be considered to have the best transfer market, however I strongly believe that Manchester City are still likely to retain the Epl title again after winning the treble but it's not going to be very easy with clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and even underdogs like Newcastle and Brighton ready to challenge for the top four spot next season, not also leaving out clubs like Manchester united and Chelsea that are capable of taking everyone by surprise in challenging for the title, anways my predictions for top four is Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United or Chelsea accordingly.
4356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 18, 2023, 02:15:06 PM
This situation normally occurs when people make the wrong decisions that makes them lose a huge amount of money, that's why it advisable for people to gamble with their spare cash and also not gamble out of emotions, because sometimes being in a  bad state of mind can force people to make choices that they'll regret later, in the world of gambling no game is 100% sure so no matter how well a  punter says they've taken their time to study the particular strategies they used in predicting most games they forecast online, do not be too quick to rush into staking very high because you might leave to regret and start putting blames on yourself which in return can cause overthinking or make one feel depressed.
But also there are  two ways to gambling because you could either regret not taking a risk to stake on a game if the outcome is positive and also if it's negative that is why some people prefer to tag gambling as a game of luck because it's not easy to determine the outcome of an event that's yet to occur, however it all falls back to being careful and gamble wisely so as not lose much funds that would make you be very remorseful, because a wrong choice is capable of ruining one's mental health for life.
4357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 18, 2023, 08:30:44 AM
OP I don't feel it's going to be something physical like a situation where they'll both challenge eachother in a ring or so, left for me I feel this might be a social media banter of who would have the best social media app. But if I'm asked to pick either of them to bet on if it happens that my opinion is wrong I'll go with Elon not minding that he's older and Mark being younger might seem as an advantage but based on research I've discovered that musk has had childhood trainings on martial arts and it was also revealed by Joe Rogan on his podcast that he's trained In, karate ,judo, taekwondo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu all his life, aslo it is said that Mark has also had training in MMA in the past and also posted a video of himself training with legend Mikey Musumeci.

This speculated fight between this two social media gurus is something to sit back and laugh over cause they both look incapable of having the claimed fighting skills, but however if Elon is said to have skills in judo, karate and other stated fighting skills compared to Mark Zuckerberg who just only had an MMA training and is not professional then my bet would go for Elon because I consider him to be more preferable with regards to the skills he's said to have acquired.
4358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 18, 2023, 07:51:18 AM
However what we have seen before, Maguire was making so many mistakes when the goalkeeper is De Gea. Since De Gea already leave Manchester United and high likely Onana will replace him, we need to see if Maguire will still bad play or not.

Maguire adapted perfectly to the style of play in England and his previous club Leicester city, where he was praised as a hero and had a fantastic gameplay in the 2017/2017 season that prompted the then manchester united coach Ole Gunner Solskjaer to buy him for a record fee of £80m as his third signing, and was assigned the role of the club captain shortly after his arrival.
But since then he's refused to leave up to standard and adapt well to the style of play of the team, for the past years, making him to loose his place in the starting 11 in the last concluded season, I feel pity for him cause he's been ridiculed by most fans and has been the one of the most dragged players on social media due to his numerous errors and incompetence, therefore it's no surprise to me that the current coach Eric ten Hag is wanting to strip him of the role of the captain.
And hand it over to his preferred successor the Portuguese midfielder and playmaker Bruno Fernandes who has proved himself worthy of wearing the armband in the previous season and seasons before. Well due to the personal  training session he's had recently with the Chelsea fc legend Ricardo Calvarho this summer, only time will tell if he'll be able to adapt to Erik Ten Hags style of play this season and take back his position in the starting 11 eleven.
4359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: July 17, 2023, 04:19:10 PM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
OP if they always go back after making a huge sum of money then maybe it could be considered that they're  addicts or gradually developing an addiction for it, and we all know that an addiction is very difficult to quit and the addiction of gambling is not exempted as well, however even if it's not advisable let's not forget the fact that many people still see gambling as a means of earning even if it considered a side hustle, maybe those people are confident of the strategy they used in winning the previous one and are comfortable with trying again to see if luck is still on their side or they're are trying to make your money with the one they've earned, the fact that people made life changing money from gambling is not a criteria to quit there are many circumstances that could drag them back, like
The love of the game
Eagerness to earn more money due to greed or so
Using it as a form of entertainment during leisures
There are some person who prefer saying on online gambling sites, etc.
