441  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AI x Crypto on: January 02, 2024, 04:25:24 AM
I'm more excited with the advancements in trading bots as AI gets more progressively smarter and more efficient and human with how they make trading decisions, you'll be stupid to not use them for your trading because even if there's a saturation of AI in trading, the market is still moving independently from those trading bots and no way it can be influenced by trading bots, maybe we will see more winners at trades and the quality of life improves because less time spent mulling over patterns when the AI does the trade for you.
Oh, for sure. If a project can use AI effectively and allows the users to use complex strategy that gives them better results then by all means feel free to use it. It's just that AI trading bots sometimes get overhyped. Some projects that I know of don't really offer new things, and basically use the old algorithm/machine, whatever you can call it, and the owner calls it "advanced AI". Not sure how it will affect the market if everyone uses it though, maybe it will become a battle of latency to execute the algorithm in the end? I can imagine the use of these bots influences the market to some extent (not as big as VC dumping their tokens or something similar). For example, choosing one pair due to its volatile nature for arbitrage, but because most people use the same strategy it started to become liquid and reduce the potential profits, etc. CMIIW.

445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 01, 2024, 06:23:41 AM
It is likely that Manchester City will add players. because some of its main players such as Erling Haland, Kevin De Bruine are injured.
With the tight schedule of the premiere league and champion league and the tight competition if you don't add players, you will be out of shape.
Both in the English league and the champions league can lose all their titles or cannot defend their titles.
Isn't De Bruyne warming up on their last match? According to some reports I've read, only three key players are injured for now: Haaland, Stones, and Doku. Some reports stated that Haaland and Doku can return as early as mid-January, while Stones has a more serious injury. If that is true, buying new players is probably not the best choice. Maybe they can loan some players if they really need to add more depth because I doubt any good player is fine being a third-choice just to get sold next season even for a team as big as City.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 31, 2023, 08:34:24 AM
The early kickoff game between Chelsea and Luton Town yesterday was epic and entertaining especially to neutrals as the club's five goals were scored in that encounter but it was also raised some worrying issues about Chelsea and how vulnerable their defense have been since the start of the season and in most times have caused them defeats. In game they first went three goals up, Chelsea still had to struggle in the closing minutes to grab all three points from the game.
I remember watching them creating many chances but can't convert them into goals, or going 2-0 up then the opponent score 2 goals in the last 10 minutes such as against Arsenal. I think it should be expected, most of their players are young with a new coach. I'll wait and see at least a full season before judging whether Poccetino is the right man for the job or not. Still too early to tell as of now. A reactionary fanbase won't help their team grow, although I don't see most Chelse fans have the patience to wait a season or two without Champions League football. CMIIW.

Emery doesn't do well at top clubs like Arsenal or PSG, but at smaller clubs like Villereal or Aston Villa he does his job very well. I think that now everyone understands how important the coach is for the team and how important it is for the management to support the coach in what he does and we can see how play Aston Villa now.
I don't really get this sentiment. Did he fail because the club or fans are impatience or is it because he lacks the ability to do so? Judging from how you said this, I'd say management at the bigger clubs doesn't support him that much if he makes a mid-table team compete for the top 4 in the league table. Btw, I think you mean Man United instead of City. Ten Hag is not coaching KDB and his teammates.
447  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TANYA]Tips Konsolidasi Bitcoin Agar EEK (Efektif, Efisien, & Kondusif) on: December 30, 2023, 06:49:57 AM

449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin Guides Would Help You Most? on: December 29, 2023, 06:30:17 AM
So it would be nice if you could really look into this aspect of activity and work on possible guidelines for both newbies and old members on how to note bitcoin scams and phishing links, as they are basic to being safe with your funds and assets in this space.
Do we really lack resources to educate people about phishing links though? There is also no difference between crypto phishing links or not, they have more or less the same signs. I don't see a lack of education on this forum to be honest, not sure if other media don't even bother with it. That would be a shame though, since it is such an easy way to get visits from beginners. At the very least, I believe most people are aware that Google ads are likely a scam/phishing link most of the time.
450  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for INVESTORS on: December 29, 2023, 06:06:20 AM
I build so far map editor. It's not a full game.i was thinking make that feature, so players can create their own maps. This editor almost a game without scenario. Will need a web site, music and to buy a server, may be not. Didnt get to that part, yet.
So is this going to be an always-online game since you require a server, or are you referring to a website for people to download your game? Why not list it on Steam and allow people to pre-order it if you need funding? Some indie devs also open a Patreon or Kickstarter if I recall it correctly, assuming you at least have an MVP to show and not just a whitepaper. I still don't see why you need to create your own coin for this though.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am I being restricted? Again? on: December 29, 2023, 05:25:19 AM
What exactly do they tell you? There is nothing we can do other than suggest you ask for their support again to be honest. Have you checked if it is something related to your browser or not? Have you visited them on a private window, clearing the cache/cookie, etc? What about playing this on another casino, do you get the same issue?

Btw, seems like you have an experience with being restricted on some games judging from the title. Is this the same sign you got when they restricted you in the past? What exactly is the reason they stop you from participating in some games?
452  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin raffle draw dApp with 50% affiliate ticket sale commissions no accounts on: December 29, 2023, 04:49:23 AM
You said the drawing process is fair and transparent, but how exactly does the randomness take place? I see no detailed explanation so it is hard to verify what you said. You mentioned cryptographic algorithm but it is a buzzword for the average joe. Is there any way to prove that it is fair and not some predictable RNG, or even worse there is no RNG at all?

Btw, you might want to post this on the Gambling section if your focus is making a raffle website. CMIIW.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How should Lotteries be categorized? on: December 29, 2023, 04:35:56 AM
Up until now, if you want to bet you need to go physically in the lottery outlet which I think is not how this era works today. Everything should be made online for ease of access.
Is there no security factor behind this decision? I imagine it would be disastrous if some hackers could abuse a website that sells lottery tickets. The government probably also uses this to discourage some groups of people from buying their tickets. Maybe there is a control aspect that is easier to manage if everything is sold offline, although it is a bit of a headache to record everything properly.

On the other hand, some lottery are available to buy online from what I've read on the internet. It really depends on which lottery are you planning to buy, in which country, and how their law works. One of the reasons being cited for limiting this online sale is to prevent people from outside the state/country from buying any ticket. CMIIW.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any miner want to confirm my transaction? on: December 28, 2023, 08:00:18 AM
You seem to be familiar with making acceleration requests on the service board (at least you did in 2018). I'd suggest you continue posting there instead. Be careful since some are probably scamming you and just use a public tool like what has been shared above.

Seeing that you already did CPFP, maybe doing another CPFP is another option for you (assuming there are any sats left)? I remember seeing Samourai giving the option to boost my CPFP transaction in the past, not sure if that's effective since your transaction has a small value. CMIIW.
455  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 04:17:17 AM
If you post your BTC tip publicly, someone could enter the site and fill out the form, "on your behalf", and exchange it to ETH instead, since there's no other (practical) way to validate whose tip it is. A possible "attacker" would gain nothing from this but just annoy people.
Ah, I see. Is there no plan to add a verification or something similar to prevent it? I guess the user can simply never post it publicly, but it would be interesting if there was an additional check before somebody made the transaction even in private. I guess that's doable with account registration or something similar, although it would reduce the user experience. I can see people abusing this to discourage using your service, at least publicly since they'd need to do multiple transactions to convert it to the right coins if they fall to such an attack.
456  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Data Harvesting Inside Ledger Live App - Is this really part of Non-custodial? on: December 28, 2023, 02:47:25 AM
There is no way to remove all antennas and connectivity chips and sensors like you can on a desktop system.
Do we need to go that far though? Is there a case where a phone still sends data even after airplane mode is active, etc as mentioned above? What about using those called privacy OS like Graphene before we install a wallet on it? It sounds really weird tbh, unlocking and flashing your phone likely requires unlocking your firmware to install a crypto wallet, which will likely increase the risk of getting attacked with malware. I guess you don't need to think about that if you can guarantee you never connect your phone to the internet/other devices at all. At the very least, it should be better than using Ledger Live.
457  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I got a new hardware wallet to store my BTC, but there is a catch. on: December 28, 2023, 02:00:46 AM
my cousin said I should have go for ledger and knowing what is happening with ledger I lost interest.
Is he not aware of what Ledger did in the past few months? Maybe you should just tell him that Ledger is not the best choice if you care about security & privacy. I find it unlikely that he didn't read news about Ledger even if he didn't follow the market properly since it was trending on social media. I can understand if he said this if you live in a country where shipping is expensive and only Ledger products are cheap, although that's unlikely too.

The thing now is, why do people hate china products so much? Especially in crypto, are people not aware that some Asic miners they use to mine crypto are made in china? China accounts for over 73% of Asic manufacturing worldwide, as if they don't produce quality hardware, if you don't know this I think you should now, China is a leading leader of it's own, they build strong products too.
I have never seen somebody openly hate Chinese-made products in crypto. Probably just a matter of your social circle. But it is not surprising, as mentioned above Chinese is famous for its cheap knock-off, although people seem to forget that other companies exist. Most of us have a problem with generalizing stuff to suit our agenda to begin with. At the end of the day you should research the product you want to buy, whether it comes from China or not.
458  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: QChartist Finance Portal on: December 27, 2023, 04:21:10 AM
The partners that i have mentioned are those who ever used the software, according to AI chat bots. There are also concrete connexions, for example Binance contacted me (quote : "Greetings from Binance, We're always looking for new and innovative projects like yours to partner with and after researching your team and project, we are inviting your project [...]").
That suits me like quite well.
What AI bots are you talking about? Where did that conversation take place? Are you sure it is the real Binance and not some random scammers? How did it go? Honestly, it is hard to trust a new project without anything to verify, not to mention your source code is literally 8 years old. Are you sure you put the updated software? There is no appeal to using your product when there are other open-source trading bot/management platforms with better UI/UX. Any plan to improve them?
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Does anyone keep an updated blockchain on his airgapped laptop? on: December 27, 2023, 03:26:29 AM
Thing is, I always thought he hot wallet laptop looks kinda "ugly" or offputing, it just looks like you have 0 funds, and its trying to synch, but since there is no internet, it's just there doing nothing.
Isn't that the point of using an air-gapped device? You're not supposed to daily drive it and make it work on something every day. I honestly think there's nothing wrong with that, as offputting as it is for you. The priority is the security of your wallet, which is why I don't think most people would recommend you buy a $1000 laptop just for that. If you don't have the funds to buy a separate device, what about using a live OS to manage your funds? You'll need a USB stick too, after wiping it and installing an OS of your choice. I don't think it is as secure as an air-gapped device though, CMIIW.
460  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 27, 2023, 02:55:34 AM
Hi, it works by user tipping to bot first, and then entering their username, tipped amount and currency, and the target currency. Exchange is completed instantly. If you tip publicly on chat, everyone will be able to see your username, tipped amount and currency. This is a rare case but just wanted to let users know that!
Also, exchanged funds are always sent back to the same user, obviously
I see, so you are not referring to a user hijacking an exchange trade by switching the target currency without the user knowing. If I want to trade BTC to USDT, and then post it publicly, someone can send ETH to me but it won't affect the exchange process, right? Basically, it will become a privacy issue if a user is using the public option, which is why the private one is recommended.
