Indian team is struggling atm and in last 5 overs Aussie took 3 wickets and gave only 25 runs, run rate is under 7.

LOL! Australia destroyed in the first T20. They could not even chase a small score, Indians dominated the second half of the match. Australia won the toss and thought they would easily destroy Indian bowling, they tried their level. Actually, they still struggle to play spinners in their own field and that is why Yuzvendra Chahal took 3 wickets just for 25 and was declared the man of the match. Now, after this match, you will see spinners being introduced in the early stages of the match.

Except for a few Twitter influencers and some Reddit groups, I am not on any other social media platform. Almost all Social media platforms are filled with scammers and especially Telegram. My personal suggestion is to stay away from them and come to BTT always for any queries or suggestions. This is the best place to discuss and understand Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Let's hope their upcoming meeting goes well without any state boards politics. I have always believed that IPL could became a 12+ teams tournament and if this "2 new teams" idea get passed then we are heading toward right direction overall.

Adding to vishnu's argument. Triangular and Quadrilateral series are the future along with franchise.

I believe that in the IPL, there is a clause which require BCCI to get the approval of all the existing franchises, if they want to add additional teams. And most of  the franchises have already voiced their opposition against any proposed expansion. It is not going to be easy for Jay Shah and Sourav Ganguly to convince the franchise owners. BTW, I am skeptical of your proposal of 12+ teams. In England they do have 18 teams and they are managing it quite well (with generous help from the Kolpak players), but I don't know if the quality can be maintained in India, if the number of teams are increased to 12+.

What do you mean by quality? is it quality of the game or quality of the players or the quality of the franchise. Please do elaborate.

The decision to have extra teams in IPL is still in discussion, so it is still in work in progress. If you know Sourav Ganguly then you should know that he has the ability to convince the franchise.

JSRAW likes to tease Rohit as the Vada Pav man which is why he isn't seriously criticizing Rohit or anything. However, it would be beneficial for Rohit to drop a few pounds since other popular players in the team like Kohli, Pandya etc are way thinner in comparison.

As long as Rohit is performing, no one is going to complain about his weight gain. BTW, you can't compare Virat with other players because he is such a fitness freak. And Hardik is much younger than Rohit and he doesn't have to worry much about gaining weight (also being a pace bowler helps). BTW, rather than blaming the players, the finger should be pointed at the BCCI. Before the IPL, they failed to organize any cricket tournament (domestic/international) for more than 6 months. The players became rusty, and it was not surprising.

As long as Rohit is performing, no one is criticizing him. There is nothing wrong in giving him the name of pada pav as he looks like one frankly  Grin.

There is also no need to blame BCCI because BCCI was not responsible for the pandemic situation in India. The players are still fit and some of them are in form, which is good for the upcoming T20.

Every player is responsible for his own fitness if they want to be part of the national team. No one is forcing them to be a fitness freak it is their own choice. Being a fitness freak and not able to perform can still make you sit on the bench or out of the team.

India won the match by 13 runs. The credit should go to Pandya and Jadeja. They scored a lot of runs during the final overs, to get India to 300 plus. When the 5th wicket fell, no one would have imagined that India would end up with a total of more than 250-260. Also, credit goes to Natarajan, for picking up two important wickets in his debut for the national team.
India could not have collected so much without the contribution of Pandya and Jadeja. After 30 overs, India lost 5 wickets, then the team went under pressure. They collected 302 runs in Jadeja and Pandya's formidable batting. The bowlers also did very well. India could not have won without their good performance.
There are two theories surrounding this match.

Theory-1:
The bowlers bowl performed in the same manner as they did in the previous two matches. Well, it is just that the Australian batsmen did not bat to their full potential bacause they knew that the series have been won.

Theory-2:
India should have batted first in the previous matches then, they would have won both of them and would have eventually won the series. Unfortunately our captain Kohli was not in a mood of winning the toss.

I do believe in the first theory as I think the bowlers did not perform as anticipated, our expectation from bhumra and shami were too high if we consider their past performance.

So the new ATH is 15,15,314 INR which was on WazirX. Which I am sure will be broken this month the way Bitcoin has been rallying.

Carnage from Pandya and Jaddu.. almost 100 runs in the last 7 overs. I felt like i was watching another IPL game, doesn't matter they win or lose from here but last 7 overs were totally worth it.

Pandya has been consistently performing after the IPL. I guess his primary focus is more on batting. Last match also he played a wonderful knock. The target can be achieved easily by Australia, it all now depends on the Indian bowlers if they can get some more important wickets then the game might swing in favour of India.

I am not sure if I am correct here but the seniors can always pitch in and rectify my error if any.

Yesterday I got a message from Giottus exchange that Bitcoin has created a new all time high in INR of 14.5 lakh. Which means the last time Bitcoin reached an all-time high in INR, it was less than 14.5 lakhs.

Does anyone here know the right figure of previous ATH?

If it's true then the new all time high for Bitcoin in INR is 14.5 lakhs  which yas achieved on 1st of December 2020 and there is a very high possibility that it will break this record before the year ends.

What do you guys think?

Actually, hackers will never use an exchange to sell those stolen funds. They will always use the darknet or trusted over the counter services to sell them. They will never sell everything in one go and don't you think it is too early for them to sell them as they know the potential of Bitcoin. They will wait more, as it has been only four years now.

Scored 185 at the end of 29 overs still 126 balls left But need 206 so the equation turning into T20 standards, only India batsman looking in good touch is Virat likely to post another century under his stats in this match.KL Rahul and Virat in the middle now still Pandya is out there so if they score at 9 runs oer over then they can win this match.

Scoring at such a rate is near impossible against the Australian bowlers, although some of them seems to be out of form. Both Starc and Cummins are struggling to find good line and length. The tight bowling from Hazlewood made the difference in this match (as well as the last one). Both the teams are looking weak in their bowling department and I believe this may be due to lack of match practice.

At one point I felt they will be able to match the score but they could not yet, they were able to reach 338. Not bad by the Indian batsmen they did fight till the end. Very disappointed by the performance of the Indian bowlers if they had balled well then Australia would have not been able to score such a huge target. Still enjoyed the game as both sides batsmen performed really well.
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 29, 2020, 08:21:42 AM
Australia batsmen trying to tell Indian bowlers that its going to be very long and painful series for them.  Grin Every batsmen knocking them out of the park and ridiculing them.  Tongue
The Australian top 5 players scored half century and Smith scored his second century of the series and we have many more to come, i was expecting Australia to put a total of 400 runs to chase and it looks like the Aussies are adamant to see how well Kohli can chase huge totals  Cheesy. The same repetition of the first match and today India should score more runs than the first match and improve their batting average rather than going for the target  Cheesy.
Indian players have already lost the match mentally it is now only a face saving obligation for them to reach as near as possible to the required score of 389. Brilliant performance by the Australian batsmen, they were more aggressive than they were while playing the IPL.

Binance has been promoting different ways to increase the BNB marketcap. I had a few BNB worth $50 lying idle in my exchange wallets which I did not have any intention to sell or transfer to my personal wallet. I placed that sum of BNB in Binance flexible saving plan and I have been earning some interest and at the same time, I am also getting airdrop a few different tokens every day and every month. I plan to keep those BNB in their flexible saving plan for a year to see how much I earn and then I will surely create a topic on this board about it.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 29, 2020, 05:21:25 AM
Currently Indian hockey team is in 4th place of world ranking so they are not really a bad team in this sport and Indian other sports like Kabadi and football giving their best but not finding the sponsorship which is important to bring the sport to the next level in the international level.

Not sure about the rankings, but the current Indian hockey team looks like a shadow of their former self. In the recent times, they never won any global events. And also, you can't compare a small sport like hockey to major sports such as cricket, football and basketball. So the sponsorship and fanbase is going to be smaller when compared to cricket.

Another issue is the corruption and incompetence of the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF). And there have even been sexual abuse allegations. A decade ago, national team member T S Ranjitha Devi accused the Indian coach M K Kaushik of sexual harassment. She claimed that those who refused to have physical relationship with Kaushik were excluded from the squad. A sham enquiry followed, but nothing happened to Kaushik.

Now coming to Kabaddi, it is a minor sport played in a handful of nations. And even in this sport, India is no longer the lone powerhouse. There have been attempts to get these sports to the franchise system in India, starting with Hockey India League (HIL) and Pro Kabaddi League. While the latter is doing relatively well, the HIL is now defunct due to a number of reasons (all of which are perfectly understandable).

There are a number of reasons that are responsible for the downfall of Hockey in India and one of the main reasons is the corruption in IHF. The day these boards have fewer politicians and more players in them. If this can be changed then only we can expect these sports to improve their image. At the moment the only game Indians are proud of is cricket and that is why they are more inclined towards it.
You said it right, sexual harrasment is another reason why women sports are not finding many real talent and even if a girl is trying to expose those abusers where no action will be taken because of authority is in their hands so they decide what they want and surely they will end the future of the girl in that sports field.

~snip~

For the second ODI also, India have gone with the same bowling lineup. And this time, they seems to have got a good start. Both Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are bowling with good line and length.

I agree with you on the second part of your post. Nowadays we expect the bowlers to chip in with the bat as well. As we saw during the last match, Navdeep Saini and Mohammed Shami made noticeable contributions with the bat. But then we can't expect genuine tail enders such as Bumrah to do the same.
I think they did okay sticking with the same team and Virat is creating new record on losing toss. Yeah they both are bowling good but Aussie targeting Saini strategically and one thing i noticed that India making habit of not picking up any wickets during the Power play, although they were bit unlucky today.

Australia heading toward big score again.

Both the openers are still on the pitch and David Warner is on destruction mode. They will surely put on a big score today which India will struggle to reach. I guess the spinners were introduced only to reduced the run rate as they are unable to get anything out of the wicket. It is still very early to comment as only the first 20 overs have been bowled. A lot of game still remains but looking at the beginning of the match Australia are dominating it.
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2020, 06:38:39 AM
Fan base for cricket in India is really huge and when elites know how to use their cricket enthusiasm for their profits then these kind of things will happen.Other cricket boards are also making money but not up to the level of BCCI and BCCI is making more profits than ICC I guess.

To be honest cricket is expected to be much shorter in the future and I am scared that it could end up the sport's future! Undecided

India, being a country of 1.4 billion would be a prime market not just for cricket, but also for all the other sports. Many of the sports boards in India have successful franchise leagues established by them. Some of them are well established, such as the Tamil Nadu Premier League and the Karnataka Premier League, while others are still in their infancy. But these state leagues don't feature any foreign players and the salaries are low. On the other hand, Sri Lanka is having a population of around 20 million (less than one-third of that of Tamil Nadu), and they have launched a glitzy T20 league with international players. I would be glad, if the league is successful. But I am skeptical, given the limited size of the market in Sri Lanka.

India's national game is hockey but you will hardly find anyone discussing hockey. The problem with other games in India is the lack of exposure and sponsorship. A few years back they did start a few leagues but the exposure is very little and not many games are being played in the respective fields. On the other hand, cricket is being played constantly and therefore everyone is excited. Much depends on the respective boards or federation to organize bilateral matches or domestic matches. You cannot expect once a year league to increase the fan base.

It seems Google has become helpless in tackling fake and scam apps on its play store. Lately, there have been a lot of fake apps that have been reported on this forum by fellow members.

It also seems that Google is not deleting these fake apps after being reported by us. It might be that we need more members to report them. I have done my part and request other members to report them.

If anyone is looking to download any wallet here then, go to the original website and directly download the app from there and not from the play store.

I have the impression that every-time bitcoin starts climbing steadily, the XRP pumps like crazy 100%+ within 24h, causing doubt in the entire market!
Are altcoins like stellar and xrp harming the bitcoin price by their manipulated pumps ?

No, Bitcoin price is not manipulated by altcoins. Bitcoin's community and whales are responsible for the price dip.
There are many community members here who have been waiting for the price to rise to 19k from 2017, they are now selling their Bitcoin. Whales are known to manipulate the market to lure panic sell from the small investor plus there is profit-booking from traders. These are some of the primary factors that are causing the Bitcoin price to go down.

Well, I mostly download apps related to crypto on my android phone. I prefer visiting the product website  directly and then downloading the app directly from there. I have stopped using Google play store directly after reading about so many fake apps on this board. I am planning to switch from android to iOS because of the security concern in the latter.

The bouncy pitch will certainly put some batsmen under pressure, but Australia will benefit more. The main reason for this is that they are used to playing on this type of pitch. Their bowlers are too experienced to bowl on this type of pitch. Although India has two trump cards, Burmah and Shami. Still, I don't think they can play better than the Australian bowlers

Why not? Both Bumrah and Shami are in excellent form, as seen from the IPL. On the other hand, the Australian bowlers (Cummins, Starc.etc) are not doing that great. I would say that right now the Indian bowlers have an advantage over their Australian counterparts. If they could settle in with the Australian conditions quickly, then the Australian batsmen will be in trouble.

Australian bowlers will always have the advantage of playing in the home ground. Indians bowlers will take time to adapt to those conditions. You cannot expect them to perform from day one. Both Indian bowlers have the ability to perform exceptionally well in these conditions but you have to give them some time.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 27, 2020, 04:28:58 AM
IPL is really created to find the young talents in India and we also have to accept that it changed the cricket era to the next level after the introduction of IPL but now IPL is now turning into more business than sports so we may see the increase in the overseas player limit but I don't think there will be an increase in the teams because they tried it in the past but it didn't worked.

Nope. IPL was not created to find young talent. We have various domestic tournaments, especially the Ranji Trophy to do that job. The main purpose of the IPL is to provide funds to the BCCI, so that they can develop the domestic cricket tournaments. IPL was always a business and will be so for the remainder of its lifespan. They are considering increasing the number of teams to 9, and a number of industry heavyweights (especially Adani and Goenka) are making their moves. Let's see whether the new team will be permitted from 2021 or not.
I partially agree with you. The main purpose of IPL is to provide funds for BCCI. And at the end of every ipl we see BCCI got an huge amount of revenue from ipl in an era. You said that new players are being sought in the Ranji Trophy. You are right. But whether those players are suitable for the national team is tested in IPL.  Because all the best players in the world play in IPL.

Yes, you are absolutely correct main purpose of IPL is to generate revenue for BCCI and the second one is to test potential T20 players for the A team.

Seeing the revenue earned by BCCI through IPL most boards started their own leagues and to date they have not been able to equal the revenue amount of IPL.
