It seems majority of here were excited about only Ind vs Aus clash? No one even gave much thought on (T-20) WI vs NZ. In which NZ won the game nicely because of their lower middle order. I missed the game so i am guilty as well.

Another game is in progress in Cape Town (Eng vs SA).

It was one man show from Lockie Ferguson. West Indies was about to set a big score, but then Lockie started his spell and got the important batsmen out. Ferguson ended with 5/21. Other bowlers went for plenty. Hamish Bennett conceded 50 runs in 15 balls, while James Neesham went for 32 runs off his 9 balls (1.3 overs). But then undisciplined bowling in the second innings cost West Indies the match.

Fan base for cricket in India is really huge and when elites know how to use their cricket enthusiasm for their profits then these kind of things will happen.Other cricket boards are also making money but not up to the level of BCCI and BCCI is making more profits than ICC I guess.

To be honest cricket is expected to be much shorter in the future and I am scared that it could end up the sport's future!

Jonny Bairstow was sidelined in the IPL and i was confused with the way they are selecting the team members and to place a player of Jonny Bairstow's caliber in the sidelines was a big thing and i am glad to see him coming back into the national team and take the team home with his brilliant knock. I missed the first match but i will be looking forward for the rest of the series.

India or Pakistan can never be included in football world cup for next 50 years or more. The main reason for this is that there is no infrastructure of football here. Also football requires a lot of physical strength which is lacked in the sub-continent area.

A decade ago, national team member T S Ranjitha Devi accused the Indian coach M K Kaushik of sexual harassment. She claimed that those who refused to have physical relationship with Kaushik were excluded from the squad. A sham enquiry followed, but nothing happened to Kaushik.

Now coming to Kabaddi, it is a minor sport played in a handful of nations. And even in this sport, India is no longer the lone powerhouse. There have been attempts to get these sports to the franchise system in India, starting with Hockey India League (HIL) and Pro Kabaddi League. While the latter is doing relatively well, the HIL is now defunct due to a number of reasons (all of which are perfectly understandable).

You said it right, sexual harrasment is another reason why women sports are not finding many real talent and even if a girl is trying to expose those abusers where no action will be taken because of authority is in their hands so they decide what they want and surely they will end the future of the girl in that sports field.

In cricket we haven't heard much about these allegations. I guess we need to thank BCCI for making sure that such incidents don't occur. And regarding other sports bodies, most of them are run by cronies of various politicians, who enjoy unlimited immunity for their actions. Women athletes in most cases are inexperienced and in difficult financial condition. In the end, the choice needs to be made between giving in to the demands and getting kicked out of the team.

The only instance when BCCI is dragged in to something like this is the incident two years back, when Rahul Johri (then CEO) was accused of sexual assault.

There are a number of reasons that are responsible for the downfall of Hockey in India and one of the main reasons is the corruption in IHF. The day these boards have fewer politicians and more players in them. If this can be changed then only we can expect these sports to improve their image. At the moment the only game Indians are proud of is cricket and that is why they are more inclined towards it.

Even in cricket, I have heard about such incidents. However, I need to say that during the last one or two decades, a lot has changed (for the better). Earlier anyone raising such allegations used to get hounded in to silence and the perpetrator would remain at the same post. But with social media getting stronger and people getting more educated, such incidents are being probed and actions being taken.

Though the incident kicked up a ruckus in the Andhra and Hyderabad cricket circles, the official seemed to have bought his peace, as the girls have fallen silent on their complaint.

Once upon a time, women’s cricket, too, was controlled by male officials, who made no secret of their taste for the "good things in life". Once, during a national camp for women cricketers in Delhi, a player confessed to a friendly official that she always carried condoms in her kit bag, as she never knew when she had to oblige an official of the cricket body to get into the playing eleven—or even the team—of the Indian squad.

It is unfortunate to hear these incidents but good to see that these issues are brought to light and there were much bigger scandals in the past especially in Olympics and anyone who does these should be sent to prison for a long time so that we will not see any exploitation in the future.

South Africa able to score only 146 runs in 20 overs. No batsman could play big innings today. Only Q de kock made 30 off 18 balls. And I think he is the only successful batsman of the South African team in today's match. Archer and Rashid Khan bowled great today. Archer gave only 18 runs in 4 overs and took 1 wicket. Rashid khan took 2 wickets by giving only 23 runs. Hopefully, England will easily win today if no miracle happens.

I was expecting a complete domination but South Africa is coming back into the game as they were able to pick quick wickets and the required run rate keeps on increasing as they need 10 plus runs per over, Malan and Morgan are in the crease and they can chase the total with Sam Curran yet to bat but they still have Nortje and Rabada to bowl and it is not that easy to score against them.

The second T20I was very close. England won with just one ball to spare. It was surprising to see Tabraiz Shamsi picking up so many wickets. He made things complicated, when we expected England to chase down the total with relatively ease. In the end Morgan and Malan took England over the finishing line. But the match was closer than what the scorecard would suggest.
