Maybe they got hacked? It is always better to keep your coins off an exchange and just the trading bit online. I am also waiting to see if coinsmarket will go online again and to know what really happened.

How will you prevent blockchain bloating? Even just hashes of files can become significant in size if you get to millions of files stored.

I was also doubting it but here and there there is something valuable like Liquid and there is also Mercury.

Bounties have been paid a long time ago. I dont think there are any bounties anymore.

Just for clarity, did DECENT sponsor the film organization or did the film organization sponsor DECENT? Is DECENT paying out money or is it receiving money?

Ok that is good news then. They must open deposits asap. It is a small enough exchange for a coin to get listed to get a foothold.

I heard that Novaexchange is closing down. They dont accept any coin deposits and only allow withdrawals. What is the plan for getting onto a reputable exchange again?

I am super excited for this ICO. I was pleasantly surprized when I read the Deloitte article that mentions LiveEdu. This hard cap might actually be reached before 10 Feb.

I tried staking at one stage with coins with > 3 month maturity but no stakes found.

Maybe this is not the right place for you to ask the question as there are other sections on the forum, but you should not invest any money that you cannot afford to lose. If you borrowed that money from a credit card or if it will be needed later for food then dont invest it. If you were going to give it away to someone on the street or were going to gamble it away at a casino, then you can invest it in crypto rather. I dont know the projects you mention but do proper research first on any project you want to put the money into. You must be very careful with any ICO as there are many ICOs where the people just take your money and disappear. Some ICOs have a good concept and then you can put some money into it. A few of the most important things to consider in an ICO is if the product they want to deliver makes common sense and if it will be realistic and if there will be a demand for it.

The LiveEdu ICO makes sense to me because learning is something that everyone does and hence why I support it with a signature.

How many coins does a masternode get?

I have made the following two files to help speed up syncing of the blockchain for people that need to sync from scratch with the stratis-qt or stratisd wallets. The files work on both Windows and Linux.

1. Link to bootstrap.dat @ snapshot block 676877

Instructions:

Option1 - bootstrap.dat
This option syncs the blockchain from the offline bootstrap.dat file and takes a few hours but much less time than syncing from the Internet.

1. Download the bootstrap.zip and place it inside your C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Stratis folder. On Linux put it inside your ~/.stratis folder.
2. Unzip the file so that the bootstrap.dat file is in this folder. If you do not know how to unzip on Linux you can install zip with the command "sudo apt-get install unzip"
3. Run your wallet with either stratis-qt or stratisd depending on the type of wallet you use or the operating system you use.
4. The wallet will start importing blocks from the offline bootstrap.dat instead of the Internet and will take a few hours to import the blockchain. Once imported the wallet renames the bootstrap.dat to bootstrap.dat.old and the file can be deleted if you need space. The wallet will be synced up to the snapshot block above.
5. If you are syncing from scratch on Linux using stratisd, you need to first create a stratis.conf file that you place in the same folder.

Option2 - blkfiles
This option is if you are in a hurry. The wallet is instantly synced up to date to the snapshot block above.

1. Download the blkfiles.zip and place it inside your C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Stratis folder. On Linux put it inside your ~/.stratis folder.
2. Unzip the file so that the blk0001.dat file and txleveldb folder are in this folder. If you do not know how to unzip on Linux you can install zip with the command "sudo apt-get install unzip"
3. Run your wallet with either stratis-qt or stratisd depending on the type of wallet you use or the operating system you use.
4. The wallet will be instantly synced to the above snapshot block. As soon as it starts to find peers it will continue syncing to the current block. You can then delete the blkfiles.zip file if you need space.
5. If you are syncing from scratch on Linux using stratisd, you need to first create a stratis.conf file that you place in the same folder.

There is nothing wrong with setting an objective, taking a position and if that objective is achieved pat yourself on the back and moving on. Not all are high-rollers or risk takers. For some getting out at 6k is enough as there is no guarantee that it will reach 10k or 20k.

They have announced that two ICOs will happen by end of Jan. They also talked in broad terms about the companies eg. the one is a big Chinese company. More than that we dont know yet.
