Loco wallet stucked on height=47830. Please fix it / add checkpoints and let is know.

There is also a bootstrap.dat available.

as I understand for a full recovery of my purse I have:
1. To clear all the information in appdata\loco
2. Throw the downloaded blockchain
3. Start and wait for full synchronization
4. in the debug console write importprivkey XXXX
5. Wait ....

In step 4 I would recommend copy in an older backup wallet.dat that contains all your addresses. If you decide to import private keys make sure you import all your private keys. It is good practice to make a backup of your wallet immediately after creating it and everytime after you add a new address to the wallet.

I have updated the dynamic Pi wallets to v1.4.5-alpha. I also updated the bootstrap.dat to 63545

A rescan trawls through the chain to pick up all the instances of your public key to add up again all the the transactions in your wallet. A normal open of a wallet checks the last X number of blocks for integrity.

Forcing a rescan of a wallet with every open will be extremely onerous and time consuming and a complete waste. A rescan is only necessary if you have integrity issues in your wallet.

I seldom say good things about devs, but I have to say I am really impressed with Nightz. It is not everyday that you see a dev that can code a wallet and existing chain. Most devs just make empty promises, opt for swaps or run for the hills.

Well done.

I dont know if it has been asked tldr; but total money supply the block explorer is 33049810 with total blocks 23031. Total blocks solved on the website are 238. How do these things tie together?
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Human minable coin on: May 09, 2016, 03:52:29 PM
just found this coin..

trying to mine but do i have to keep clicking new /auto?

or is there a way around that?

With your wallet open, type "setgenerate true" in the console and your CPU will do the guess work. I love coins that is primarily minable by CPU and is a big attraction for this coin.

ty that worked
but what's with  the complex thing with mining explanation on the website >_<

For those that want to do it manually. There are clever people that can quickly work the puzzle out and they can solve the blocks faster especially if they have slow CPUs.

I can't find my self in the block explorer  Huh

This is perfectly normal and as per design.

With POW coins a new address is credited for each new block reward.  You will find your individual block reward addresses in the explorer and if you add up all the 300 and 50 blocks for those individual addresses, you will get to the total of your wallet. This is why there are so many accounts with only 300 or 50 coins in them. Your wallet and the chain knows however that those individual addresses are linked to a private key in your wallet. In order to get yourself on the rich list you need to send the coins currently in your wallet to yourself to your main address or to a 2nd address you create in your wallet. Your wallet will then create a tx to debit all the individual block reward addresses and credit your main address with the total. If you then analyse the explorer, you will find all the individual address to be zero and the total against the main address you sent them to.

updated to the newest wallet and was having trouble so I cleared the loco wallet folder in roaming and ran the new wallet fresh start and the wallet seems to fully sync at around 49,604 blocks with about 5 connections but when I check blockexporer we are at block 51,849

It seems I'm connecting to forked wallets when I download the blockchain from scratch, I need some good node's to add to my config, could someone with a wallet on the correct chain post up some nodes for me please would be appreciated

49648 at the moment i post

Rather post a few getblockhash results of a certain block to compare.

How many coins in circulation?
Mined already (~block 840), around 160k. Total will be 10.5 million.

The new version seems to be a big improvement. Initially it looked like it was still broken, but things seem to be going along well.

lost 700 loco trying to send to novaexchange that never arrived and now 150 i think loco never made it to my loco 1.4.1 wallet.  Im confused why 872 loco coins have disappeared.

People was told not to send anything to nova exchange after the attack. Message them about that not me.

and did you withdraw ?

I will reimburse up to certain amounts yes. BUT ONLY IF THOSE COINS WHERE NOT CREATED ON THE FORK

I too lost coins during the fork time, but legit coins withdrawn from Nova. I dont expect a refund and I think people must move on as everything seems smooth now.

Lots of coins were generated during fork time on wrong forks that "disappeared" when the correct chain was loaded. Best is just to move on and stuff the refunds.

the exe is not signed, anymore, in the last version was signed, it has to do probably with the fact that last version of core is not signed too, if this is based on that

I can get onto that mate

Also looking to re arrange the look of the wallet too soon Any objections for that ?

Pink with daisies and some lillies too.

I have updated the Raspberry Pi wallets to Go3 v1.3.0.0-Alpha as well as updated the bootstrap.dat to block 40373. There are a few important notes:

If you have not yet installed any Pi wallets and want to do so for the first time:
1. Follow the instructions  at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1438233.msg14560498#msg14560498 and you are done.

If you have already installed the previous Pi wallets, you need to execute the following commands at a command prompt to update your installation. The new wallet uses .loco where the previous one used .Loco. This does not impact Windows but only Linux:
1. Make sure you have a backup of your wallet.dat file
2. sudo mv ~/.Loco ~/.loco
3. sudo apt-get install qtscript5-dev
4. Download the new wallets from the original post linked above and replace the old ones in ~/opt/loco
5. Click the icon on your desktop and you are good to go.

The bootstrap @ 40373 is available here.
