Very strange the price decred situation ... crash and never grow up, why this bad trust?

Not so strange at all imo. The majority of alt coins are down lately with BTC consistently setting new highs.

Hey guys, what's the best miner for CPU right now? I've come across a few, but they're all old. No recent updates to cpu miners?
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 08, 2017, 12:44:41 AM
ETH is about to overtake Bitcoin, the daily volumes are insane, and the platform is growing exponentially with all these ICO's.

We are going to the moon!

So many project ico partners with ETH to create token
I believe the price will be increase

Etheroll had its first quarterly payout to token holders today! A whopping 1419 Eth for the ROL token holders Cheesy Cheesy

Is there any way to check etherdelta trade history

like past week trading i have done, its not showing on website

It would be nice, but no, there's no way that I know of. One of the down sides of a decentralized exchange :/
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 05, 2017, 02:22:47 AM
You originally claimed file size.
That was the entire argument! lol
You know a good way for the general populous to check if all bytes match between 2 programs? Comparing checksums Cheesy
No I did not, I said the particular virus file that is masked as spmod miner has a different size, nothing else.
Nowhere I stated that comparing file size alone is enough in all cases, but in this case it is.

Stop taking it personal bruh! All I wanted to say was comparing file size is not good practice! Even if in this specific case it was fine.  Cool
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 05, 2017, 01:58:01 AM
its stupid trivial to spoof a file size to make "all bytes match perfectly". I hold a BS in computer science, you can trust me on this one.
When all bytes from one file match all the bytes from another file those files are identical.
You can throw your BS into trash if you think matching bytes means matching their count and not the order.

You originally claimed file size.

Don't write if you don't know something for sure. Miner linked there is a legit spmod3.
Miner that is a trojan has completely different size and it's not this one.

That was the entire argument! lol

467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 05, 2017, 01:17:59 AM
Well, if I was attaching my trojan to a legit program, I'd spoof it to the byte as well. Tends to fool the ones who think file size comparisons offer any security.

And yes, any developer should willingly supply a checksum. It offers no value other than identification.
Once again for the slow ones - all bytes match perfectly.
And why would he provide a checksum if you didn't buy his miner? He will send you hash together with an exe when you pay 0.05 BTC )

It would be useful to the community to know if another piece of software, claiming to be something he developed, is legit or bugged (as has been seen in the wild). Besides, spmod3 doesn't provide the large margin compared to other miners as it used to. Because a checksum is only useful in identification, and because sp is a long time developer with good standing in the community, I don't see why anyone reasonable wouldn't do such a thing.

All of that is besides the point though. I don't care what was posted or where, I'm just arguing the point of thinking 2 files are equivalent based on file size. Grin

It's stupid trivial to spoof file size (99% of blackhat encryption/packaging/obfuscation tools come standard with size spoof). Only muggles judge software that way. I'm sure sp can provide an md5 or sha hash of his spmod3. Then, one only needs to compare the hash of anything else claiming to be spmod3.
I compared it with a bought spmod3 miner, prefect byte match. So... you noob))
_sp should give you checksum so you could check if you stole legitimate miner from him or not? Cheesy

@7wis7edfa7e - with this miner linked in the video one member here got ripped off (at least one) - but this hack was different as it was attacking the wallet from pool directly and not the mining client / user!

i give you a tip..
If you use http://pool.burst-team.us/index.html you will be redirected to the server with less load...

That gives me only an empty white page!
This page still works best for me http://92.43.104.34:8125/index.html

you are right!!!
sorry my mistake...
i need to update my bookmark.
i think something is changed after the last DdoS attack...
thank you to let me know...

H mentioned in the forums he was relocating his servers to a facility which offered better ddos protection. So ya, some of those links are likely to change and/or be down for a short time (days-weeks).

I am not sure about this.
Let us give it some  time to see.

Nothing really to be "sure" about. It's a statement, not a prediction  Cheesy

Finally I can test and confirm that AMD has fixed the issue with slowdown at high DAG epochs for Vega/Polaris/Fiji cards. They are going to release new drivers in a few days.

Great news! Can't wait to see 30mh/s again.

I cannot understand what exactly makes you happy!?
You will get 5% increase in hash-rate but the difficulty will go up 10-15%, so you will lose 10% on profitability!
Take a note of your earnings now and then and update us later on your feeling Smiley

Well, diff is already up...

lol yup! Nearly 100 points up in 24 hours. Makes me wish I had bought more cloud mining in 2015 Cheesy Cheesy

Thats really good, I might have to get myself some decred.
 Cool

This has been my attitude since genesis block  Grin

Decred is going to blow up once it gets some attention.  Secretly, I'm hoping BTC gets forked to fuck on 8/1, thus highlighting the immense value of fair governance Decred has.  Cheesy Cheesy
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 30, 2017, 06:53:49 PM
^^^ Strong? It's fucking dragging its asshole on ground, this shitcoin use to be over $300! Now at the shit-tastic price of $200 my GPU do nothing but blow hot air in the middle of summer. I find myself fighting with nichash over the NIST5 shitcoin of the week QQ.

As you can see I'm bitter about the current price.

I feel ya. I live in CA, so I can't even say I have good electricity rates for mining. Sad

Still, there's a reason we're still letting these fucking heaters run!  Grin Grin

Whatever happened in burst I honestly could care less. Crowetic paid an exchange bounty when no one else stood up and I don't know him except word of mouth. Anyone who puts time and money into a project they can't be bad so you got my vote.

I wouldnt trust him. A quick google search shows he's shady AF, there's tons of stuff.

https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/5310/crowetic-the-leader

Do Not .... Do Not ... bring that shit over here.  If you are going to read those links, read them all, do not fall for the insanity, go back MONTHS and read them all  As a burst miner and community member I have read them all and I lived through the past few months of it.  I can say without a single doubt that crowetic went above and beyond for Burst, he paid out of pocket when funds were stolen, he provided bonus' to help out new pools, he dedicated himself full time to that project and only left after it was crystal clear that circumstances prevented any further growth of that coin.  While I wish them the best of luck over at BN, I hope I never ever hear their names or their hateful videos, discord spam, forum lies etc., again... ever.

Every action taken by crowetic during that time was above board and handled with as much maturity as the situation would allow.   F@%& Burst and their forked all to hell network.

On to better projects.  As a new miner of Sigt and an active forum troll, I'd be thrilled to have Crowetic on this project as a full time member.

Don't be a sheep. His intentions might have been good, and did good things for the coin, but in the end, the cold hard numbers (market values) show what happened. He fucked over those that believed in his revenue-generating projects, and trusted him to run, and eventually close those assets fairly.

I agree though, BN is nothing but a censored pit of lies, ran by a known scammer and neo-nazi. Best not to spread around links to that forum.  Cool

If your trust can be won with a single donation...well, I'm guessing you're young. When evidence of activity (less than 8 weeks old) and an entire community of people willing to attest, I don't know why one would choose to trust so easily (especially in the crypto world!!!).

#1 rule in investing: do your own research.

I'm only here giving caution, so young/new/gullible investors don't get duped, at least not too easily, out of their coin.  Cool
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 27, 2017, 12:26:09 AM
Question -

I have been thinking of stepping up to 'community leader' position in this coin. Basically being the face of the project for the world. So that people know there is a real person behind it.

Of course, this also includes me using my contacts to help with all aspects of the project, and of course I myself helping, like I did with cryptopia getting listed there.

I would like to do this for everyone here, if that's alright with everyone.

Any questions feel free to ask, nothing to hide here.

I work full-time crypto, so I would have the time along with the contacts, to help further things along for SIGT. I very much enjoy helping solid projects, getting new people involved, and just giving and helping in general. So this would be quite fun for me.

Just wanted to post here and let everyone know what I was thinking, and make sure everyone would be fine with that before just giving myself the title.

I work closely with SIGT current devs, and have others that are working on SIGT things as well.

Let me know if you're all okay with this, and if not, why?

If anyone has any legitimate concerns, we can definitely talk about it, but I can say for certain that I'll do everything I can to help things get where they should go.

Thanks!

Crowetic -

I don't know you and am not in a position to judge you, but would like you to address the acrimony RE: the BURST coin project and your association with it.

I'm too new to the crypto game to know all the details (don't need them), but want to make sure that any issue related to the past is buried so we can move forward as a community without old baggage popping up.

SIGT is a very exciting opportunity and one that we really have one chance to execute properly.

Thanks!

Deanerific

Well, I have a few thousand $$ of worthless asset shares because of an unfair asset closure (if you can even call it that) due to Crowetic's decision making. And I wasn't even one of the "large" shareholders of his assets. My losses pale in comparison to others', because at the end of the day, we were lied to.

He claimed the "face of the project" role in Burst as well. I suggest this community doesn't make the same bad choices as Burst did.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 27, 2017, 12:16:37 AM
There isn't a single ICO which delivered whatever was promised till today. I see this thing a good step for user protection because only serious project will be out because of fear of facing legal issues. Ethereum is just smart contract provider and will not effected because it has vast industry to use its blockchain for smart contracts.

Don't be silly. Etheroll is one good example of a running dapp after successful ICO.
