462  Economy / Services / Re: NOTARY Platform Sig and Avatar Campaign(FULL) on: October 01, 2017, 05:00:25 AM
Payments have been sent to those who qualified. You may remove sigs now as this campaign is now over. If you want to continue to support this project, they are running a bounty campaign you can join. Link can be found in OP

Thanks for the payment.
Sad to see these campaigns last a short time though.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum Hardfork on: September 29, 2017, 10:38:43 AM
As per this news it is going to take effect on the block anticipated to be released on 17th Oct. I am not sure of the credibility of the source but looks good.

But, you should keep checking incase the block gets released earlier

https://btcmanager.com/byzantine-first-part-of-ethereums-planned-hard-fork-activates-oct-17/

i have never heard of this website but the date it gives (17th October) seems to be the correct one although i have heard multiple different dates about the hard fork so far. it seems like nobody is sure!

in any case i am looking forward to see how this one will affect ETH. this is a huge change. it kills mining so i am interested to see what will that do to the price and how the whales can manipulate it this time.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the storm will come this weekend ? on: September 29, 2017, 10:31:47 AM
I wonder if the storm will come ( from China ) this weekend and all coins will down .
i don't know about all the altcoins but about bitcoin, yes there is a big storm coming, the storm of people who are left behind from the rising rocket to the moon when they grow more desperate every day that price rises another $100 and feel the pain of missing out.

Should I exchange BTC to USDT and come back October ?
yes you should sell because there is a shortage of the number of coins the rest of us can get at this price level and you will be doing us a big favor.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Fork: BitcoinGold. GPU Mining on: September 29, 2017, 10:25:23 AM
How would a Newbie purchase some bitcoinGold when it becomes available?

What price would it start at?

you wait until the new altcoin is listed on some exchange, then if you don't already have an account in those exchanges you sign up and deposit some money/bitcoin to buy that altcoin.

what the price will be depends on the demand. it is impossible to give any opinion right now. it can be anything from 1000 satoshi up to 0.1 bitcoin.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First China Now South Korea on: September 29, 2017, 10:17:19 AM
What should we do keep your bitcoin, sell it, or buy more?

now because I am a little skeptic, but I can see that there is no decreasing value of the the BTC... Huh

"you" should sell whatever amount of bitcoin you posses because you do not understand what bitcoin is. sell it now and try to come back when you studied a little and educated yourself about what bitcoin really is. try to think about what a decentralized currency really means.
i promise you that your skepticism will be over too.

the only downside to this is that by the time you understand what bitcoin is you will be forced to buy bitcoin at least $1000 above what it is currently worth.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the banks going to kick-out bitcoin with their new digital coin on: September 29, 2017, 10:11:31 AM
the answer is too obvious and it is already answered so i wouldn't bother repeating the obvious but i hope a day comes that people who are involved in bitcoin start learning what bitcoin is. that day, topics like this wouldn't be created asking a pointless question.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why India Coin is the best buy hands down on: September 28, 2017, 10:47:46 AM
i honestly can not see any potential in an altcoin like this. specially right now.

the coin doesn't really offer anything. there is no interest in it. it is not even listed on any major exchanges and the trading volume has always been low.
on top of it all, the price is already over pumped. it used to be 2 satoshi and then pumped to 37+ satoshi. and ever since OP posted this topic it has been dropping currently at 15!
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Rebound - Trades are GREEN on: September 28, 2017, 10:38:11 AM
the "market" as in general has not yet exactly rebounded. it is mostly a short recovery because of the big dumps that has been happening in the past couple of weeks. most of them can very well be called "Dead Cat Bounce".

as for specifics. i am also watching NEO and hold some. it has already increased about 40% from the bottom and i probably will hold some more of it for longer.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: September 28, 2017, 10:29:38 AM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.

i disagree. there are many people on bitcointalk and more involved in cryptocurrencies but majority of them are interested in money. they want to make a profit and earn lots of money and as a secondary goal to make more bitcoin and then hold that bitcoin to make more profit on that.

i personally am a combination of these. i obviously want more money because the world runs on money not on bitcoin. but since i know the real potential of bitcoin i keep the profit in bitcoin so that some day i can spend my bitcoin which will be worth a lot.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC become a PUMP after 30/9???? on: September 28, 2017, 10:21:01 AM
the pumping days of bitcoin are long over. you are confusing bitcoin with some random pump and dump altcoin my friend.

there going to be rallies and corrections. and from time to time there will also be some bubbles and bigger corrections like the $5000 bubble and the correction down to $4000 but also sometimes there are FUD that causes the corrections to go deeper like this bigger drop to $3000.

and each time there is a situation like this there will be another rally after it. a rally that will lead to a much higher price and previous ATH be broken. it can start now since we still have some time until the next FUD starts.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if BTC gets regulated? on: September 28, 2017, 10:11:06 AM
If bitcoin becomes regulated by the government that would mean higher fees due to taxes. And some people will take it negatively due to the high price of bitcoin the tax will surely eat a large part of it which would mean a lot less profit from your investment.
I am not sure exactly whether this thing will ever happen or not, but let us suppose that this thing will happen then I must say there will a lot of difficulties as well. The most basic problem which we will be facing will be the payment of tax and all that stuff which will result in depreciation of our money.

I am thinking the same that bitcoin would never be regulated, because government would surely want a system that they can control or monitor Well maybe because their purpose on not regulating bitcoin so they can surely prevent people from using it the wrong way or criminals to be using it in their country, and they are really preventing that to happen.
It is a bit difficult but not impossible yet because the price of the bitcoin is increasing and the chance for the profit is high so if the government will make the bitcoin regular and they will earn from bitcoin so it will be good for the economical life of the bitcoin. The strategy of the bitcoin currency is not yet impossible so if the government of any country will accept bitcoin it will increase the trust of the people in bitcoin.
I am not agree with you that it is difficult but not possible, I think it is impossible completely to get control on bitcoin and regulate it by a government because bitcoin is decentralized and uncontrollable cryptocurrency.

In a way government can earn from bitcoin if government announce bitcoin a legal currency in his country and collect taxes from blockchain because bitcoin is not in access of someone. But if happens to regulate then people will left bitcoin.

bitcoin is a currency and a currency is used in businesses, shops, merchants and things like that. when you speak of regulations you speak of regulating all these use cases for example you take taxes from the shops that are accepting bitcoin you give businesses license to operate.
it is not really any different when regulating a business that is working with fiat.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market Dull - Are we waiting for Sep30 on: September 27, 2017, 10:43:02 AM
the "crypto market is dull" because we are after a wide spread altcion pump in the market. it has nothing to do with September 30 or anything regarding that.
the FUD would have never existed if they weren't pumped or for example if the pump had happened 3 months later than the date it started.

and the market will remain like this until the bubbles all pop properly and the altcoins that were pumped hard bottom out. by that time the accumulation starts and you can see pumps again and lots of profit.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: official Indian Crypto Currency on: September 27, 2017, 10:28:24 AM
What are your thoughts on an Indian fiat cryptocurrency?
Do you think that it could replace Bitcoin in India?

if they were trying to replace bitcoin with that cryptocurrency (i think it is called Lakshmi) they wouldn't have made bitcoin legal. they actually done that this year after a lot of debate.

their cryptocurrency is centralized and it is also in the early stages not ready for becoming big. some say the banks are doing it to make some money and cover their asses.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advise to Newbie's on: September 27, 2017, 10:17:22 AM
for the newcomers i always suggest investing in bitcoin only. that is the best option you can hope for. the market is bigger more trusted and even if you make mistakes you can be relatively sure that price will eventually recover and you make your money back. it is safe in bitcoin.

then as next step you should start trading altcoins. still no ICO though. altcoins are easier to trade and a newcomer normally doesn't even know what to look for in an ICO and how to choose from them, for them it will be like gambling if they try.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Price Is Behaving Sticky on: September 27, 2017, 10:07:42 AM
Bitcoin trading volume overall hasn't gone down much at all. It's just that China is no longer a big market, but at the same time Korea and Japan has turned into sizeable bitcoin economies, and thereby offsetting the difference.

The price is not behaving sticky imo.

It deserves to be where it is right now. It's not like it is a super high price still, it's around $1000 less than the ATH.
Yes bitcoin deserves the price now as we know that there are many investors now that are continue to come in the market that helps bitcoin become strong and supported by many people even there is a bad news occur their are not much affected because of this supporters and strong holders.
Hopefully this indications would last longer and more big countries will support crypto currencies as another medium of payment. Bitcoin soars worldwide and it could stand still in hard attacks from it's foundation. Bitcoin community have proven to be stronger, from a deep down and now it rise again and face another challenge.

big countries supporting bitcoin is good. we have already seen the nice effects that can have on the price with Japan adopting bitcoin on a massive scale. but it is not all and it certainly is not the reason for the price rise.

it helps but in the end it will be the people who are adopting bitcoin and keep it decentralized no matter what their country says. if the government approves of bitcoin things will go easier and faster if not it will happen but slower and a little harder.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fork 2 ? on: September 27, 2017, 09:52:04 AM
First Cash, Now Gold? Another Bitcoin Hard Fork Is on the Way
is it TRUE?

what is this "Gold" that people have been talking about (and by people i mean brand new accounts like yourself making new topics).
all i could find that was closes was BitGold which is pretty old and it was nothing interesting at all.

so if you have any information please share it with proper links here
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple in 2 Year ? on: September 26, 2017, 12:26:24 PM
with the huge supply that Ripple has i do not have any high hopes for its future price in long term. it will probably be less than 100 satoshi by then. and when i look at what it has accomplished i only see them hyping the coin with fake statements and no actual work in real world.
the banks that were supporting them are already making their own thing based on the blockchain and not this coin itself!
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why China's Ban On Crypos May Be Temporary - Forbes on: September 26, 2017, 12:17:49 PM
it still am waiting to see where they banned "cryptos" or as the article title says "ban bitcoin"!

to this day i have neither read any news from China about banning bitcoin nor i have seen then actually banning bitcoin.
the only thing i keep seeing is that uninformed news sites which do not even know what bitcoin is, repeat the same thing about China banning bitcoin!

the funny thing is even Chinese themselves are annoyed by this lie https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/911067464796053506
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: As BTC raises..ETH will fall! on: September 26, 2017, 12:08:07 PM
I am trying to find the connection why the fall of ETH as percent is higher than BTC!
pump and dump altcoins always drop harder in general.
and in case of ETH there has been lots of issues that led to the actual dump and bigger fall because in fact the news affected Ethereum most of all and if China ever bans anything they will ban ETH first.

Quote
There is this hidden gathering of limiting btc supplies....while offering too much ETH!
Agree ..Disagree?
it is unclear what you mean!
the supply of bitcoin is clear and there is nothing hidden about it. it is limited and with a logical distribution model.

on the other hand ETH has no cap (the supply is unlimited) and the distribution has been terrible! they had a huge premine of more than 70 million coins and they also had an ICO and then the mining reward is also huge.
