461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: June 16, 2024, 05:52:47 AM
Tank Davis got the impressive knockout in the 8th round and retained his email belt. As good as this might look on highlight reels, I’m not sure it can be considered such a great win. Frank Martin is a good athlete, but his boxing skills are very limited and he didn’t have the experience needed to prepare him for Tank. I am ready to see if Tank is more than just hype. He is almost 30, it’s time to fight Loma and Shakur, not just take shots on social media.

Talk about upset, it didn't happen here, Martin is no match to the boxing IQ of Tank Davis, he just methodically break him down, hitting in the body in the first 3 rounds to soften up Martin and then goes head hunting.

And even if we call Tank paper champion which I do agree, there's still boxers that he need to face next in this division, Shakur and then Loma. That will really set his greatness if he will beat that two name in a spectacular fashion as well.
462  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will be $350,000 by August 25, 2024 - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 15, 2024, 11:43:20 PM
It's not possible to state Bitcoin is going to hit 350.000$ when in fact it hasn't even reached six digits yet (100.000$). This kind of prediction is baseless and has as sole goal to generate views and traffic for the author. There are lots of people who keep repeating absurd things on the internet, because they know that is how they can make the algorithm works in their favour. It's an old marketing trick which has been working smoothly since the era of the printed media.

Yeah, it's like Robert just pulled that number somewhere else, but for crypto enthusiast, we all know that it's not possible to get to that price in short amount of time. There's no way that suddenly big money is pouring in the market and pushing it hard because it's going to look very artificial and by that, Bitcoin could looking be like any other altcoin there, pure pump and dump and that's what we what to happen.

I'm just hopeful Bitcoin can continue growing by August 25, 2024, as we have been seeing since the beginning of this year. There are still tough challenges ahead, such as breaking the 72.000$ resistance line, and then conquering more levels until the 80,000$ and 90,000$, so we can finally start dreaming about the six digits for the first time in history! Being more realistic, that is what should be predicted regards Bitcoin progress by the end of 2024.

Who wouldn't want Bitcoin to grow by August, but there are a lot of factors to look it. But maybe around that time, the bulls has wake up already and then we will see new all time high around $80,000-$90,00 is possible. So just need to be patience here, that's one lesson we have learn here. It's the key and then we have to accumulate as much as we can so that we will be ready come bull run or parabolic rises.
463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some bad uses of bitcoin. :'( on: June 15, 2024, 10:44:37 PM
I will not get to th technicality of Bitcoin, While I do agree that Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities but this has been happening before the invention of Bitcoin and still it happens largely through Fiat not through Bitcoin as Fiat don't leave any traces as it's not captured anywhere hence I don't think it's fair to stigmatize Bitcoin with illegal activities.

Yeah, I think this so called bad news from Bitcoin comes very early from it's bad media publicity and then it just struck with us specially when we hit the peak at 2017 wherein some social media outlet reported that Bitcoin is very used by criminals or others to launder money.

It's more difficult for criminals to do this, they still need to be technically inclined, and if given the fact that they are, then there could still be traces in blockchain, specially that blockchain analysis has evolved throughout the years are well looking for addresses that might be used by this criminals. So doesn't make sense for them to used it, and would rather go back to the traditional way of using fiat because that's where they are good at.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting law ignores technology and encourages clandestinity on: June 15, 2024, 10:14:04 PM
You have to also understand that lots of fraud go through casino and its not a wrong idea for them to regulate it a little, I believe they must be a reason behind this new rule that they brought out l, it can't totally be to stop crypto casinos from excelling in the country, who knows it might be task related.

Yes, we understand that, and maybe that's what the government of Brazil doesn't want, but we all know that crypto based casinos are asking KYC (Know Your Customer), personal information like drivers license and passport so that they will know who they dealing with and prevent such cases as money laundering.

So it doesn't make sense for the Brazilian government to make a total ban on cryptocurrencies.

This is the new technology and we all know that if you look at the other way, there could be advantage of it like blockchain that they can implement as we all know that everything is recorded and immutable. So why not the government take advantage of it instead of going backwards?
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Y hs giving out our private information become a normal thing in the name of KYC on: June 15, 2024, 09:57:42 PM
guys, why is it that giving off our private information for the sake of passing KYC on casino platform became a normal things?

It's like the norm today, and as you mentioned, they will have to ask each customer info so that they will know their location. Why? because they have to make sure that they are within the gambling age. There are instances that kids stole their parents credit card and they try to play on crypto based casino, as least asking for info might prevent this from happening.

Another is the basic, AML policy, casinos will have to fully comply with this law, otherwise they can't get any licenses. And financial watchdogs are very strict with this law because they don't want casino to be used by criminals to launder money. Casinos have fraud department that constantly looking for any suspicious activities from their customers and the moment they see something odd is going with that account, they are going to ask their customers for KYC immediately.
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto casino without investment on: June 15, 2024, 09:38:57 PM
Hello, what do you think - it is possible to open a crypto casino without any investments. I'm not including domain and hosting costs here, but I'm mainly talking about payout costs. Alternatively, if not a crypto casino, then faucet, something like freebitcoin but without a casino, just faucet.

Possible, but you really need to have a lot of money to begin with, but if you look at the history of land base casinos, the now big and famous casino at some point need investors to get the ball rolling. And it's better to have investors obviously so that you will have unlimited funds to make casinos from scratch.

As others have said, PvP, but it's not enough in my opinion, players get bored easily and they look for games that will give them thrill and adrenaline rush. So you need slot games as well and this entails that you have millions in order to get top tier, level A, slot machine operators.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: June 15, 2024, 09:15:03 AM
According to rumors, if Tank wins tomorrow, we might finally get to see him face Vasyl Lomachenko.

A source connected to negotiations told BoxingScene that Ukraine’s three-division champion and IBF lightweight belt holder Vasiliy Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) has confirmed to his promoter, Top Rank, that he will fight again, and Top Rank and Premier Boxing Champions have initiated talks to stage a Davis-Lomachenko unification bout, with November being the target month right now.

With Tank’s relationship with Mayweather being over, now is the opportunity to prove he isn’t just some manufactured, protected champion. It is a shame that it has taken this long for PBC to consider making this fight, when Lomachenko is entering his late 30s.

Here's the weigh-in,

Davis though is very trim in this fight, at 133 lbs. Are we going to see an upset tomorrow night?

I agree, it's about time that he really needs to step up and fight Shakur or Loma next. He has been protected by Floyd and since their relationship in the last couple of months turn sour, hopefully he can make up his mind and fight the best at 135 lbs.
468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or Legit on: June 14, 2024, 11:15:03 PM
I did a little research and by now it's obvious that this is a scam site, sorry to burst the bubble to the OP,

https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/globalstockmarket.org

And that is why we don't trust anyone who just message us, a random individual and then we give them our trust right away and invested huge amount of money. And hopefully, for those newbies, do not fall for this kind of trick.

469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breakout Alert! 🚀 on: June 14, 2024, 10:54:27 PM
This is the time of the year when Bitcoin's price may not follow the strategy or pattern as there are whales trying to pull it down by going against the tide as they would try to accumulate more before the actual bull run because by now Bitcoin should have crossed $73k but it has faced rejection multiple times. I think we just need to keep accumulating through DCA.
Absolutely right. I also think there may be some whales in the market who are trying their best to take their last bearish position before the bull run. But this is definitely another opportunity for investors running the DCA strategy even those who are ready to invest in a lump sum of bitcoins. DCA is the best strategy as a universal investment medium that is ideal and relatively simple for people of any income. Also prioritizing holdings that accumulate over the years to reach your desired point.
The institutions have always been the movers and ordinary traders dare not battle with them, but we have to align with their direction of flow to be relevant.
Talking about the issue of DCA, it is the most reliably proven way to accumulate bitcoin for a long term purposes. When you are sure of the market, strengthen your DCA; when you are not sure of the market continue with DCA, you have nothing much to lose but could gain on the long run.

I disagree though, I mean if there is going to be the prime mover here, it will be us, retail investors. We might be small, but for sure we have the numbers and we are the one making the market more liquid 24x7x365 days. So we shouldn't underestimate the average joe investors and traders here, IMHO.

For DCA, this practice or strategy has been developed for small traders, because obviously, we can't buy in bulk like those whales. So it just shows that the market is really for us and not that big investors, And we all have been speculating that this investors who have deeper pockets can manipulate the price but we can still swim with them no matter where they are going to go.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Akhmadaliev ordered by the WBA no later than September 25 on: June 14, 2024, 10:20:38 PM
This is another great fight, and if Inoue wins here, I think he already clean up the division, although there are just one name that is going to be a big question, it's John Riel Casimero of the Philippines.

This could have been delayed though, as the fight could have happen if not for Tapales upsetting Akhmadaliev, but at least it's not too late. And September will be perfect as there are reports that this could also in the card of Joshua vs Dubois in Middle East. But we will see if Inoue is willing to go out of his comfort zone and fight outside of Japan. And who can't refused the money that is going to be offered by HE Turki Alalshikh for Inoue just to go to Saudi and meet Akhmadaliev?
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2024, 09:55:31 PM
^^ That is going to be huge if they will have their new organization and maybe take out all the corruption with just one body. But I don't think that the governing body will approved it though. They might have to compete with them and it's up to the promoters like Matchroom, GBP and Top Rank and PBC on how they are going to help set up this big league from the Saudis.

And who can refuse it? With billions on their hand and the whole government behind HE Turki Alalshikh, for sure this can be done and done right. Probably this is going to happen in the next 2 years.

The plan is to buy out the whole boxing organization so it's very ambitious already, but we will see what will be the reaction of the governing bodies here. But yes, maybe they are going to be offered with huge money that they can't refuse. So here is another moved by them,

https://www.instagram.com/p/C8J9V4QCISU/

They make Crawford, Jarod Anderson and Hamza Sheeraz as their ambassador. So meaning this fighters are going to promote Saudi now.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: June 14, 2024, 09:40:57 PM
Here are the official weigh-in, both guys make it at the limit of 140 lbs,

Just and move forward to 9:34 to see both of them taking the scales. This is the whole card weigh-in though, so you might be interested on some fighters. And as fans, although I will skip this one, I'll be very much interested to see this fight specially that 140 lbs is heating up, with champions like Teo Lopez and then we have Ryan and Devin Haney.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2024, 11:49:24 PM
Boxing fans, are you surprised by this news?

Exclusive: Saudi wealth fund holding talks to create boxing league

Quote
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) is in discussions with multiple boxing stakeholders to create a league, potentially reshaping the competitive landscape of the sport, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
PIF is looking to invest in a joint venture with some of the sport's stakeholders that would feature more boxing bouts, the people said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
A handful of leading promoters including Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions are involved in the discussions that could result in a deal valuing the new entity between $4-5 billion, one of the people said. PIF wants to create a venture that would bring the main sport's organisers together, in which it would take a minority stake, the person added.

So it's going to be a take-over from the Saudis, but it's obvious that this if forthcoming, I mean they have been holding a lot of big events already in the Middle East. So it's just a matter of time before they become the forefront of boxing.

And from the way I understood it, might be similar to UFC, wherein each weight class will only have 1 champion and unlike the current wherein it's a 4 body (WBC,WBO,IBF, WBA).

What is your thoughts on this?
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: June 13, 2024, 11:25:09 PM
And so there is another competition at MetaWin,

https://x.com/Meta_Winners/status/1801201391857230103

Big news! Sportsbook is live, see: https://metawin.com/sports/

And I think this will create more hype on MetaWin now as we all know that sports betting is really big and them joining the picture is perfect for us who looks for some casinos to test and see our luck. Specially that Summer Olympics is coming which they also covered, so for sure there will be a lot of activities on the platform.
475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't live above your affordability on: June 13, 2024, 11:05:32 PM
Without pretence, how'd you feel being a low class admist first classes where public are being attentive?
Honestly, to some oppressive times, I actually feel like to afford the first class expenses in that period of time just for impression but my fear always goes to HOW TOMORROW MAY BE because living in such competitive arenas is liable to disappoint a man as time approaches.
Money is indeed a key word of man's status quo but it's better to maintain a sustainability for a long term going than living the high classes in just a short term else, you'd become a mockery in reviewing of your past and recalling your present status quo.

I think you just have to be yourself. Don't think what others will see you, yeah, people most of the time are judgmental but take it as it is. Because if you are going to be affected by those around you, then you won't prosper as huma being. Just trust on yourself and mind your own business and for sure your status quo in life will improved.

Definitely, money is not the root of all evil, that is a wrong saying. You just have to know when and how you can make money, you don't need to love it, but everyone needed money in order to survived in this world and you really have to work hard for it.
476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: June 13, 2024, 12:42:59 PM
Even COVID didn't manage to effect  local gambling shops deeply. Now, in the post COVID era they are continue to flourish. I personally spend 80% of my gambling time in land based casinos, remaining 20% is allocated for online gambling. Physical casinos have plenty of pros for me, like the physical communications with my friends, who are also gamblers, the option to listen to jazz combo, the freedom to walk around various gambling pits, etc..
I agree with that and that's the fun of going directly to physical casinos. But nowadays I usually just stick at home. It feels like it's the right thing to do and besides, I can do house chores while I am at home and also doing work. Everything is there as long as you have the internet and I don't even spend gas money or the taxi fare just to go somewhere else. If computed for the long term, it will still be a lot of money. But, there are times I am thinking about spending some time in a physical casino too just because I miss it. Maybe one time I will do that and try to enjoy that one day leisure as much as possible.

I'm one of those who really frequented land based casinos pre-covid. But now, yes I do go out sometimes to play in land base and see the atmosphere and ambience. But I guess I adjusted myself because now, I do online games as I already enjoyed it because some of the games that I played is already present in online so why bothered to go outside?

Although me and my mates and our wives, will have that one session at least once a month to go out and just enjoy, have some free drinks listen to live entertainment and that's it. After that I'm going back to my regular playing online with slots and roulette and bacarrat.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny - Pacquiao VS Chihiro Suzuki Exhibition Match on: June 13, 2024, 11:07:17 AM
This isnt the first time Pacman is fighting an guy with perfect record and a master of his sports. What about previous exhibition fight against some martial arts youtuber? That guy also claimed that he is the quickest striker, master of 100 martial arts, can punch through any defence. Showed those Bruce Lee one-inch super punches. Got destroyed in a boxing fight. We dont have to go far - Mayweather vs Nasukawa (44-0 in kickboxing, 4-0 MMA, 99-5 in Muay Thai). Fight was under boxing rules and that uber undefeated machine lost in 2 minutes Cheesy

Pacman has the advantage knowing they gonna fight under the boxing rules. So Suzuki the MMA champ has disadvantage on this fight since we know how MMA fight happen and for sure that he will feel awkward that he can't do his techniques which he can use on MMA. Although Chihiro Suzuki is young but provably that Pacquaio's experience in boxing will show up on this.

Although we cannot downplay the MMA champion since he is also in prime then Pacquaio still need to be more careful on this exhibition fight knowing that he's old already and any lethal damages he get from his opponent can affect his overall health that's why he need to be attentive and finish the fight without getting any injuries. Many fans want him to retire and enjoy his life since there's nothing to prove anymore and I understand what they mean since aged people possible prone for injuries.

Never saw when a professional athlete in one sport, switch to other sport and beat professional athlete of it. If they were at least from same sports, then we could speculate on youth vs experience. Like Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight. But Pacman is 45 only. Not 65. Since this is exhibition fight, Pacman would let that kid to show something, probably fight would even go full distance to create some drama.  But come on, this guy is a fly. 65kg cant beat such pro as Pacman.

The only time we have seen a cross over fight and the MMA fighter almost win is when Ngannou faces Fury. But when Francis fought Anthony Joshua, it was all over, the pro boxer shows him not to messed with this sports even though you have the power to knockout everyone but this is very different.

So this could also apply in this fight, I do agree that Pacquiao is not that old and there are news that he wanted to still fight at the 147 lbs. But most likely he settled for a exhibition against the Japanese and it's going to be easy money for him and could win by knockout.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best assset in investment return 8 years in last 11 years on: June 13, 2024, 10:38:53 AM
Yeah, it's pretty obvious that in 2017, when Bitcoin has the media attention, and reaches a new all time high of almost $20,000, it will be the best investment. And moving forward, we have proved our point and yet there are still investors who are not that smart to put their money on the market and just let it sleep without doing anything just by HODLing and for sure in the next following 8 years they can see their initial investments turning into x profit that no other assets can give like Gold o Oil.

So it doesn't make sense why there are a lot of skepticism by today, we have showed them already by looking at the past and yet they don't want to invest on it. But I guess, we can't really force anyone until it's too late for them and us taking the profits of what we have sacrifice in the last 10 years or so and becoming self made millionaire - and that is thanks to Bitcoin.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: June 12, 2024, 10:30:38 PM
^ I agree that the hype is dying down. I was coming here to post that with all the new rumored opponents and seemingly up in the air as to what exactly is happening this close to a major event is pretty bad news for Netflix getting into the fight game. I understand they couldn’t just call off the event due to the amount of money behind it, but this was supposed to be a big moment for Netflix with live sports and now it will only be a letdown.

I do agree, that's why Tyson released that video because it seems that the hype is going down. Just imagine if they've push with the original date and you can see them promoting the fight with that scary Mike Tyson video.

But now it's different, specially for those who have bought the tickets before and had mark their calendars to watch the fight live. But then again, it was rescheduled to a new date and you were disappointed and for sure there are fans that might not make it to the new date because of that and then just totally refunded the tickets.

Doesn't change a thing though, they still have a strong anti-Bitcoin, and even if they says ETH is digital oil, it only shows more of their hard line stance which for crypto enthusiast, really baffles on why they say than an altcoin is better than BTC?

And regarding Hongkong's ETF approval, it is not available to Mainland Chinese,

The upcoming launch of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETF) in Hong Kong will not open up the market for investors in mainland China, according to Bloomberg data analyst Jack Wang.

And if they will embrace crypto, it will all be altcoins for sure.
