461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: September 04, 2023, 06:36:14 PM
My portfolio consists of BTC,ETH,XRP,SOL,DOT,XLM,ADA
Your choices and options are too many to me, it increases the risk you will face and makes it so that if you are not careful, you will just be consistently loosing the capital you want to invest, and then you will not be able to meet your target of getting a house.

If you must invest in Altcoins, invest in a few (One or two), it reduces the risk and make your investment easier to monitor.
I'll slash it into few like BTC, ETH.

That shall do and will be able to hit his target for having the cost of owning an apartment. It's a good plan of having the profit go into another asset that will generate income.

Not a lot of investors able to do that because they don't know how to spend their profit when it's already on hand.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: September 04, 2023, 04:18:41 PM
I added "setup up time intervals to check your trade " although I was being  specific i might just have left it as time interval but instead  I added "hours"
So, that's the connection of doing activities and having time. Well, that's good and justifiable.

Also the weapon  here is simply a psychological  weapon  let me ask this do you think they didn't considered all this emotions  stuff before creating a way for people to trade generally fine the market moves according to the trade but what about the market influencers
If you think that it's a weapon against you, you have to fight against it. I guess it varies as per trader on how he'll look onto it but we've got similarities on what we think about it.

And that is when we let our emotions drive us, something wrong will happen.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: September 04, 2023, 02:49:49 PM
Emotions is a weapon used against traders causing them to move out of a trade untimely which may eventually cost them loss.
It is not a weapon, it just comes out naturally against us.

How to avoid emotions:
  • set up  a TP(take profit) and SL(stop loss) for your trades
  • Stay away from the particular trade
  • Get in some activity that will keep you busy
  • Do your hubby activities at that moment
  • set up hours interval to check your trade
  • watch tvs and Go for walk Smiley

Note:Some of these might not be applicable if you are into scalping.
Be discipline with your plans so that you won't be missing the time when you're about to take profit. Traders forget to take profit when they're busy with other things.

And that's contradicting what you're saying about doing hobbies and activities for that moment.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: September 03, 2023, 08:37:51 PM
~snip~

Yes and if there was a x coin it would not be 'bullish' for crypto hodlers. If Elon Musk did have his own x coin, I think we would see more investors sell their crypto.
And begin to invest in his coin.  Twitter is so big I think I would be even investing in his new coin.
As for me, I don't know what I'll react with that if he ever announces that. We know that project is just going to be for hype and clout but in terms of development, we don't really know.

Many will surely ride the fame and popularity of it because that's what the market is and it's all for the money where people can get it as quickly as possible.

That's a normal reaction if you're going to take it as well because that's what many people that looks at him will do.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 03, 2023, 07:37:27 PM
Tell me how to promote the token?
The popular one is through bounty in the forum.

And which exchanges have the cheapest listing?
Usually those exchanges that don't have much volume and unknown ones. They're the ones that a project can get listed with having no problems. The demand for those type of exchanges isn't that much so being listed there means nothing but only being listed.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: September 02, 2023, 11:23:21 AM
ethereum is good, BNB heavily depends on the performance of binance itself, had rumour like binance getting sued is circulating like before its always got its value decreased almost immediately.
meanwhile ripple is not really good investment since many tried so hard to avoid it.
I think the only worthwhile altcoin you mentioned maybe ethereum but thats just my opinion right?, i still think that the other coin like eos and most layer 2 are worth investing nowadays than BNB and ripple.
since they are just better in every aspects.
just imagine if etheruem rise so high in the upcoming bullrun i'm sure that the layer 2 like optimism, and arbitrum gonna rise high too since they will become alternative blockchain for those got affected by eth gas thats expensive usually at bullrun.
IMHO, there's still connection of BNB and Binance as exchange but it has its own market where it's mostly reliant to it.

The liquidity that's being provided by the coin itself is what its value having the greater share. But yes, it just can't be removed that exchange news are merely affecting it.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: September 02, 2023, 10:13:39 AM
Well now we know Elon Musk will do payments with crypto, Bitcoin and Ethereum on twitter. And I also do think Doge because he really likes it like we know.
That's for sure gonna happen with the X as an "All-in" app. Payment integration will happen and acceptance of specific cryptos. Yes, Doge might be there but who knows really if he'll add it.

He likes to tweet a lot and troll a lot of meme coins like Doge but he has never add that as payment to his company. Maybe it's a corporate decision but having the most stocks/shares of a company, he can implement it any time he wants.

And he did say that rumors of his own twitter coin are not real. https://crypto.news/elon-musk-says-x-has-no-plans-of-launching-token/
Scammers are taking advantage of his popularity so it's probably from them.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: September 02, 2023, 09:10:10 AM
Trading is only for everyone who has initiative to learn it, though there are sometime others begun to learn it but not taking seriously so in the end they stopped and not continuing because of having no willingness to do it.
If you have plenty of money and don't want to learn and you're doing it just to have fun, you must be rich. But the majority of the traders that are trying it have their own reasons.

One is to earn and secondly is to learn.

Both must be a tandem and you can't just earn from it if you'll not learn especially to the losses and mistakes that you will commit.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What site to check for historical prices? on: September 02, 2023, 07:45:36 AM
What site do you use to check historical prices such as you can even go all the way back to when that coin was created and the price till now?

I used coinmarketcap back then and you could go back many years and it showed the high and low price for each specific day but also the closing price as well.  When I check coinmarketcap website now, that doesn't exist?  The website has changed a lot.  The only thing is there is a graph where you have to manually move your mouse slowly day by day but it only displays one price.  Does it still show high and low for each day and the closing price?  If not, what site do I go to check for this?
I am also using coinmarketcap and just check out the ALL + LOG tab and that's the data coming from the start of the coin that you wanna see.

Maybe you haven't checked it yet so press those two buttons and you'll see the information from the coin you are about to check with its historical prices.

Another one is tradingview -> https://www.tradingview.com/markets/cryptocurrencies/
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: September 01, 2023, 11:58:10 PM
Someone who's sold his bitcoin and tried to find any other solutions but still ended up with selling it, I know that they have tried hard but it's just  that there's really no other option left anymore to them.

It is understandable but I wish that it won't let them down.

Poor planning from the beginning is the reason behind all this conditional selling of bitcoin. You know what you earn weekly or monthly and you know what you spend as well as your savings. After you have a reasonable savings, you can take part of it to invest in bitcoin which is not part of your calculation again. I mean you should consider it as not part of your asset until when your target is hit. In the case of emergency, you can spend from your savings and no need for you to sell your bitcoin.

Planning is the key to success. You can not invest bitcoin with whole of your savings and expect miracle to happen when you are in need.. It's better to invest a little amount in bitcoin for a long time than to be in haste to invest heavenly and run in bankruptcy that will lead you to sell it within short period of time with possible lose.
I agree though it can't really be helped even with those plans but all of a sudden, a big money is needed to be spent and there's no way that the current savings in fiat is enough.

They tend to even touch the investments that they have and one of it is Bitcoin. And the harder part is what if it is only bitcoin that he's invested. I can't blame those people even if they know how much they're earning the entire time.

We all have needs to cover and necessities to be filled. But I do agree that with planning, these things can be avoided and foreseen but not everyone can make plans when what they earn are just mostly enough and bare for living.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUSD users will be able to convert Busd to other stablecoins until February 2024 on: September 01, 2023, 11:02:59 PM
The stable coin that intended to be for Binance now, they're dropping its support. The given timeframe is a long period of time for everyone to convert all their BUSDs into another stable coin.

There's a huge community already for this stable coin and they don't think of it because they still have BNB and its own exchange.

Maybe after the given timeframe, we're going to start seeing it depeg.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Unlocks One Billion XRP, What will impact on it’s Price? on: September 01, 2023, 10:24:07 PM
If there will be a down in the price and I have to buy, I'll not choose XRP.

Instead, I'll buy Bitcoin and that's the most impactful with the price. But that's it, it is your reference and I am just starting to see people liking it more because the lawsuit has been won by them.

Before, you see a lot of people that even they don't like it, they won't even buy it.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: August 31, 2023, 11:11:41 PM
When trading crypto do you expect better, from yourself, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO?
Before I was but it wasn't so effective at all when you're like that.

Has anyone reading this ever found a cure?
Yup, you gotta learn with the losses that you'll make because of having that attitude towards the market.

How do you permanently change and naturally be patient? Thanks all.
Being patient is like you wanna avoid incurring losses and that's going to force you to be patient and be wiser with your trades.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 31, 2023, 06:52:47 PM
~snip~
It will indeed be a dilemma when we need something and the choice is to sell bitcoin. If it is the only way then we can do it, but remember the outline "if it is the only way".
Yes, it's like your very last choice and you did everything to think of and pull anything that you have to pull.

However, if we still have several other solutions, then it is better to avoid it, especially if our investment has just started and has not yet made a profit, in my opinion it is a 2-fold loss.
Again we are talking about good planning here. If we can do that I think we can avoid it all. indeed something difficult comes cannot be predicted. But we can prepare well in advance.
Someone who's sold his bitcoin and tried to find any other solutions but still ended up with selling it, I know that they have tried hard but it's just  that there's really no other option left anymore to them.

It is understandable but I wish that it won't let them down.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE logo shiba inu passed away on: August 31, 2023, 05:26:28 PM
@jossiel - Hachiko story though is very different as it touch a lot of hearts and made us cry.  Cry
Yes, it's different but both of them are cute man's bestfriend.

Musk must attend her funeral.
Well, if he's in for the sake of being a hero since he loves the meme coin. If he's got a lot of time to be spent going onto Cheems funeral, then that would be another headlines and clout chase for him.

I am guessing by just that, there will be +%%.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE logo shiba inu passed away on: August 30, 2023, 11:56:46 PM
Another hachiko story that has made significant heartfelt for most of its lovers, mostly for meme coin and dogecoin lovers.

Rest easy Cheems.

I didn't know that you've got a surname as well. But anyway, you're part of a great community and has contributed significant history to the world of meme coins and cryptocurrencies.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economic situation makes bitcoins more difficult to keep. on: August 30, 2023, 10:53:06 PM
Bitcoin is worthy to hold for long term but if we have no other ways to fulfill our need then we shouldn't hesitate to sell because living happy life is our first priority.
There's a little solution on that, if you are in need and you are holding. Try to measure if you can keep and still hold a lot from it, like selling a little by little until that needs of yours is filled.

There will be many situations in this world that we will have to sacrifice our precious things. In these ten years i remembered many times that one coin I bought to hold for 5 years at least sold out in 2 years because of bad situation and when everything become normal I got these coins again.
Yeah, we can't just dictate the situation and if we're in need of it and your last option is to sell then you will be forced to sell. Can say that we can always accumulate.

But, if that happens we will never know how high the price will be if we go back and DCA.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your altcoins for bull session (Between Rank 30-200) on: August 30, 2023, 10:10:51 PM
Same. No more Altcoins

It's harder to take profits than deciding what to buy when the market is bearish.
So why should we buy new Alt when established coins are also discounted?
We're just learning the lesson in the past that it's better to have more bitcoin as it controls the market more than any of those altcoins. But if someone's preference and getting more altcoins, that's okay.

Taking profits isn't just about securing gains, it's about respecting discipline and strategy and not being easily swept up in market euphoria.
A stable strategy that you've been doing and that's what is going to give you much profit in the bull run. Yeah, we get excited because we're holding some but don't expect that most of it will shine.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading stradegy on: August 29, 2023, 08:23:18 PM
Im so newbie here but this is my way

Mostly binance futures If i trade but now due to financial problems i can't trade so much and don't have enough funds...untfortunately
I look for top gainers sometimes they go even higher so if coin is up 20% it might trap If i see still coin can move up i move on to short altcoins i look for bigger Marketcap altcoins If they are up 5% then i Open short and If there is no news or any reasons for further pump i Open short.
Right now i see etc/usdt extremly over-bought and fake-out so i did Open short it now. Price 17.065$ on binance i think good entry for short with this price now.
One thing, if you've been telling us that you're into binance futures and you're a newbie and you're out of budget. That means that it's not effective to you.

But if you've got some strategy that you feel is gonna work for you, feel free to follow it until you see the effect of it being better.

Anyway, my tip to you being a newbie. Avoid futures.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop loss on: August 28, 2023, 07:18:50 PM
I had some scenarios of my stop loss being pushed down a little bit incurring  me more loss what could be the possibilities.
How that could be if you've already made a stop loss? That does mean that you've set your stop loss and removed it?

Because once you set your stop loss then that's the metric that you've set so that it will control and stop your losses. So how can it incur you more losses if you've done so?

And for a scenario for you to incur more losses is either you removed it or didn't set it. But as long as you set SL, you're good and won't make more losses.

I don't think I'm the only person that have witnessed  this  besides I only experienced it when I'm trading  spikes . I already gotten some info's already base on liquidity  and brokers too ,I don't think you really get me sir
Yeah, probably I'm not getting you and I haven't experienced that. But if you've seen it and witness it, then so be it mate.  Smiley

Usually this SL's are really that commonly used on day trades and futures but if we are really that doing some swing trades or weekly or monthly positioning before we do snip out profits
then it wont really be that necessary but doesnt mean that you cant use it. It would really be entirely be depending on your risks appetite or on how you do really take the market.
I'd still use it if I'll leave it there for months and I'll be back just for assurance that I'll be able to cut loss if the market goes in turmoil.
