461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: May 03, 2020, 02:54:25 PM
The primary purpose of gambling businesses is to make money not to limit their customers spending that money by putting such features and regardless on what feature a casino or sports betting site implement. if a gambler is really into it, especially when their in a winstreak there's no stopping them from playing.

Making money is one of the biggest points of gambling, I agree. But the main thing about gambling is always fun. You can experience a lot of trouble when you miss this point. Making money is, of course, great, but I think don't forget to have fun while dealing with gambling.

The juggle between making money from gambling and enjoying while gambling not everyone can handle it. The moment one can handle it and have control they would be able to have fun and enjoy the game as it is meant to be that way but people have turned it as money making machine. Some can turn it in their favour and rest of them just keep losing it.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: May 03, 2020, 02:49:39 PM
I’m just trying to collect some data, also I guess this post will be useful for the rest of the forum users.

In my case, in 2018 I loss 32 times one after another using the dice system on freebitco.in.

Greetings

I'm a small-time gambler and yes I do martingale but I never go fast 10, or if my small funds will still allow me to go on, the longest I have been on a dice losing streak was only 10 it's hard to keep when you are in your bad day, you have no choice but to stop and only play with funds that you can afford to lose.

I know martingale will not work for me as I do not have so much enough that keep doubling and keep adding the money to keep gambling it. Also I do not gamble as such to make money so not worth it. Only for people who want to make money or just play for it may be interested provided they can afford so much money to have with them.

463  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s economy is contracting and this is not good for the global economy. on: May 03, 2020, 09:05:34 AM

China will never fall under a financial recession They keep their information confidential to everyone within the world As China may be a developed country within the world more deals are through with China within the commercial field. But you've got rightly said that the Chinese economy is contracting and it's not good for the worldwide economy because the economies of every country are so constrained how they're going to be ready to trade if they're spending many days in crisis.

Thing may change in coming time as people would like to not depend upon one country much as we have seen what this has resulted in this turnmoil times. Also things will look much different then what it was before and in coming time the world would change for better reasons only I feel. No doubt we are in recession and things may take time to recover now and things will move out from China slowly too.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: May 03, 2020, 09:02:45 AM
As everyday, ending the day with sleep is the routine of everyone. Same as that I went to sleep with my girl, she was sleeping next to me placing her hands over me. In between I woke at the midnight, and I wasn't able to sleep till 1:00 AM. I started to gamble on mobile, my girl has placed her hands over me. Within a minute she suddenly woke and started to cry what happened to you. Your body sense different, and kept questioning, are you feeling Ok. Please feel free to say if you're feeling uneasy of anything. I understood it is due to the gambling, consoled her promising that I won't gamble for now. She advised me, when we're in sleep and an immediate increase in the heart pumping has got highest chance of cardiac arrest. Finally it has got to be one of the memorable days of my gambling.

Lets stay safe while gambling, though it is fun and excitement source there is lots of pressure being experienced by each and every gambler as we risk our earnings for a bigger amount.

So you started feeling anxious while gambling?
And how your girlfriend understood that when she was already sleeping? I don't get it...
Anyway, if gambling makes you feel stressed then it is not the correct entertainment for you, you should find another way to spend your free time.

People should be able to quit when the time calls it right because else I have seen some of them who just could not quit when they should have done it and now are very much addicted and in this time have not only money due to this addiction but has also effected their health and their thinking process as debt are rising and time when come when they would find themself in a trap when they look back and what mistakes they have done by not stopping at it or just not playing for entertainment purpose.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could, would you delete every altcoin? on: May 02, 2020, 04:21:23 PM
If I was to decide whether delete every altcoin or leave the situation as it is, I would keep all the altcoins. Because they are the history or knowledge. They demonstrate how people can be naive and believe in lies, how people invest in things that will never make them rich or will opposite - make them rich easily. Altcoins show how different can be cryptocurrency world.

Some would like to delete it would be people who had invested in wrong coins or ta wrong time and had taken a loss due to which would like to forget that as an nightmare. I hope when the prices are falling people do invest in such times and not at high as this will help them make money when it rises.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 02, 2020, 04:18:27 PM
How can you always make money from gambling?

In gambling the chance of losing money is very high to making money from it. I have seen so many gamblers in this forum saying the same. In my personal experience I have won less and lost more.

Gambling is not your regular job but a way to entertain yourself untill it becomes addiction.

Some gamblers are playing for the hope of doubling their capital because they believe its the easy way to do it. Yes its not right and risky but we cant coerce others to not gamble for that reason. It should be for entertainment or as pass time but it is also tempting to play if you have the mindset of earning because you can possibly grow your money if you happen to be lucky.

Definitely if people could double the money in such simple way al would gamble only and become rich. People should also understand if this is how it used to work then why any businesses will run casinos as they would always be in a loss and only players would be rich. Casinos exists because they make profits and this comes for players like us who will end up losing so that they makes money.

467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: May 02, 2020, 10:46:59 AM
I hope the Covid19 pandemic will pass very soon because life cannot return to normal while we have that threat. I love sports because it transmits great emotions, at this time sports betting is allowing bettors to achieve self-control. Although I also think that other sport betting alternatives will be created.

More than gambling one thing many would be missing will be the sports actions which has taken a pause due to this situation. Many events in this period have got cancelled or postponed and now unsure if they would even happen due to time constrain, or we will have to give it a miss this year and await till next year. Hope sooner it ends so atleast in next couple of months things can get back to resume.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: May 02, 2020, 10:15:04 AM
The cost of Bitcoin rose significantly in late April, and then there was a correction of a whole thousand dollars. These are huge price fluctuations. The halving occurs only once every 4 years, so I think that during this period we will definitely not see a price flat. Price fluctuations are now inevitable.

The volatility will continue to exist as halving is near and also good time to people to buy during dips and book short term profits. Though for traders this could be risky yet rewarding if the buying/selling side is right with the markets move and could make some good money in this market.

469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: May 02, 2020, 05:39:23 AM
It has been more than 40 days now I am under lockdown and I have not gambled yet. I did not feel like gambling in this period of uncertainty. No clue as to when things might get normal or I will have my job, too many things in my mind at the moment. Therefore did not have the urge to gamble at all.

It is nice that people are giving gambling as break as much required for people who are addictive this is a very good time as well to get away from it. Also for many people not sure about the job prospects and how recession would be hit so also better to start saving money rather than playing and losing it.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: May 02, 2020, 05:37:21 AM
In my case, the situation is a bit complex. Here in India, gambling (both online and offline versions) is not legal. So I am showing the gambling profits in my income tax return as "gifts from abroad". That said, I normally gamble with small amounts, and cumulatively I have lost more than what I have won. I have a few low value transactions to take care of, and this helps me to stay under the radar of the tax authorities.

I have never kept a record of my gambling profits or losses for tax purpose the reason is the same as yours. There is only one option and that is showing them as gift from friends. Now since the band has been lifted you have to show them as profits as exchange will not be processing payments using P2P service.

I do keep it and better to keep because at the end of the month and year you should be knowing how much you have spent for entertainment and if it has being loss or profit and how much approx. Also beneficial for the tax purposes and if gambling on the sites then you might get the data directly if the sites maintains the history of activities and bets.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: May 01, 2020, 05:36:34 PM
You have to add Ripple I think, because Ripple also always makes a surprise if the price of Bitcoin goes up, look at the performance of Ripple yesterday, Ripple increase is also high, more than 8%, this is good for the ripple to start a bullish trend just like Ethereum
I also have some ripple, but maybe I will be more interested in ETH and BNB. some new projects might not be interesting, that's why many investors are more interested in old coins which I think have been saved from the beginning of this year.

XRP was really a promising project and worked well for some time but in between it just went down and down and dint returned back with the bang as was expected. BNB looks promising and holding can be beneficial till the time Binance keep doing work greatly and btc will as usual continue to be the king of all and need to be holding it like everyone generally does it.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 01, 2020, 04:07:07 PM
One major impact is that we are going to begin to see the growth of internet usage for many outfit. Many people are going to suggest to their company about working from home and also more investment in digital currency too.

This started months ago.

I am one of those people that work from home now and it is harder than I thought. Despite the fact that it is more comfortable to work from home, some of the things you are doing are hard to be done and took long enough than working in our office since working from home also leads to a lot of distraction especially if you have a kid at home. Also, that is the positive impact here. You are working and at the same time, you are doing your job as the man in the house.

In coming time one major change that would be seeing that of Work from home concept will start as few countries are not used to this or did not promote much like other may have done it. So this would reduce traffic on roads, local transport etc and create less pollution and office may have to rent out smaller space compared to higher yields paying rents for bigger offices etc. This will be one of very big momentum shift for many people going forward.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 01, 2020, 04:02:12 PM
I am okay with number one because I don't understand too much with the number 2. Besides that, I think the number one will be more familiar to me as I see that is applied to many gambling websites or another website. I will use a different password for every website. That is what I always did with all of my accounts.

I will also go with Email as it is more convenient to me and also only thing you should have a string password set for each thing which will make things for difficult too for anybody. Depends on everyone choice what each one would prefer to use as for all safety is priority and which they feel more suitable would consider it.

474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: May 01, 2020, 10:10:38 AM
One of the easiest is dice. You can easily manage the risks by lowing the win amount while learning it. Also, it's quite transparent that makes dice a good choice as an option to begin gamble with.
I agree with you on that, I think OP should ask what's the easiest online games rather than the safest because there is no safe in gambling, regardless of the amount we are gambling, we are risking money on that, and we could possibly lose more if we loss control along the way.

This is a good point because there is no guarantee as such that you would have higher chances of winning in one game compared to other . like you play slot games, roulette, poker etc no one can give guarantee of winning it. Easiest would be dice I guess or roulette also for that matter as you do not have to strain much of your brain to bets on this.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few thoughts, if you are starting today, these tips can be very valuable on: May 01, 2020, 10:05:37 AM
I still have few people in my street holding altcoins since 2018, I'm glad I switched to Bitcoin, stop advising people not to sell a coin for another, while Bitcoin is growing up and dumping hard I've make good money, learn to take profits instead of holding

One should stay invested in btc and some for the best altcoins as well I would suggest whenever market dumps them as it is available at discounted rates. This crypto at times jumps very quickly and people can easily make money from it if holding for the short term a swell. Though we need to have a holding capacity as some time it may take year to get our price as well. So only invest the ones which can be hold for longer time if need be or ready to accept some loses as well form it.

476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 30, 2020, 04:42:59 PM
Unfortunately, they are not the only one.
But it's not their fault they are not working, casinos are closed due to governments decisions because of pandemic. So, to my opinion they have the right to compensation and governments should help casinos to pay their employees.

This is something which across industries people and workers would be facing it as it is nobody fault neither the owners nor the employees. Now who would help the people is what is the question as some of the owners can make some payment and some may not be able to do it. Now how much government can bail out them is the question as even man countries does not have stimulus money to offer the package to various industries. In the end it is common people who may suffer from it.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 30, 2020, 04:39:43 PM
I have one friend who used to play dice in stake.com, he started with a very small fund ($100), out of that money, he managed to have a balance of 24 ETH at some point but unlucky guy lost everything in one day. Once again, with the bonus he got from stake, he managed to cross 30 ETH within less than a month but yesterday, he lost everything once again.
How come he lost everything one day? Do most of the gamblers lose money in such way?

He is excited in the money he won and he does not know how to handle it and this is dangerous, not knowing what to do and how to control himself and this case is not isolated, it can happen to anyone and mostly to newbies at their early stage of playing.

I think that money cannot be handled by everyone and fore some of them when they win some big money instead of following the basic principles to move away and not to bet further then greed overtakes them and they play more considering they can win more and many times you might end up losing lot of many. Also if people can invest rightly this winning amount can multiply in coming years and can make them more wealthy as well.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: April 30, 2020, 01:23:20 PM
This is the correct statement that cryptocurrency success takes time.  It all depends primarily on the cryptocurrency user himself, namely What expectations he has from his activities.  In any case, the most profitable action on the cryptocurrency market for investors is the long-term storage of promising cryptocurrencies, which, when real results of the project are achieved, will provide full profit for the investor.  But if a person has the goal of making a profit today, then all attention should be paid primarily to cryptocurrency trading, namely to daily trading, which will give a certain income in the near future.  but in one way or another, each user will be able to see the full potential of cryptocurrency only after a certain time.

Just taking a couple of days’ time itself would make people understand and those who are panic sellers. If they thought that btc would not rise and would fall in Covid situation now we are seeing that it has almost risen by 1500$ in just 2 days of times itself shown that btc is gaining some strength and would continue doing so though we have some ups and down time as well. Some time you have to wait longer and some time it could be just in days as well.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 30, 2020, 01:18:27 PM
Man, Just for experiment. i want to see more than 24 team in one T-20 WC, no matter if its economic disaster or not... ICC should go for it.

For Olympics T-10 seems logical to me.

I would love to see two dozen teams in the T20 World Cup. But then, the ICC would never agree. On paper, they have 16 teams. But 8 of these teams are restricted to the first phase, and only 4 out of the 8 will advance to the proper tournament.

I am not a big fan of T10 format. It is too short for me. I watched the 2019 T10 league on TV and didn't liked it that much. It has nothing for the bowlers. Even T20 is heavily in favor of the batsmen, but T10 is just like a bowler's gas chamber. Why can't we have T20 in the Olympics?

Because even T-20 format seems long to me when i look at from Olympic's perspective.

Normally one T-20 world cup takes around 28ish days to finish with 12-16 teams. now imagine you are trying to fit this event in 20 days event which is Olympics. to make matter worse let's say minimum 20 cricket teams participating in Olympics, seems very tight schedule to me, in the end players might want to suicide for sure.

Why you 20 cricket teams should participate in Olympics ?  Since we have only 8-9 regular playing nations, including 20 teams would mean a lot of boring matches. It would be better if they have a pre-Olympics qualifier and only the top 8 teams qualify for Olympics, if ever the cricket is included in the WC.

Yes 20 teams would just be too much because top 8 teams would be the best to get some good cricket. Though 20 teams can participate in the pre qualifier and then bring down to 6-8 teams or so depends upon the allocation of time and place of cricket in Olympics. This would happen sooner or later in coming years and we will just have to wait and watch for this event.

480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: April 30, 2020, 07:54:40 AM
Nearing 9K now, that's one major jump right there.

Btc price are on rise as we are not far away now from halving and we will continue to see some more upside and we are already at 9200$ and let us see if we can see 10k as well or will it remain at this level. Though people may book some profits as well at this level around and easy gain of 1500$ per coin in just 2 days which is very cool in this market.
