Since James is going to Las Vegas, what if somehow he was arrested and thrown into LV's finest. Rumor has it that all prisoners are stripped down and share cells. SHIT! On second thought, nix that idea, for he might view it as a vacation.

All of this speculation is probably useless... What if they wanted you to focus on their marketing hires and not on the management? Dunnow.
Agreed. While the buff shots are sure to get many hearts pounding— considering how quickly forum members seem to fixate on the personal lives of people they're irritated with, the only fucking this thread should be about should be the metaphorical fucking related to failed promises and non-shipped mining hardware. Can the tabloid stuff move out of this thread unless it has a direct relevance to recovery for customers? Being superficially interesting isn't enough. Knowing people's real names is but the rest, not so much. Thanks. With all due respect, I may have gone a tad--only a tad--overboard, but the gist of what I've posted is to show that we are not dealing with who we think we are dealing with. Can't believe you deleted the banana pic/post. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) <but no prob, bud> Any interesting background on Eduardo, John, or Amy (or anyone other than this guy)? Also, did you get any more replies, or I guess he was reading this thread and stopped responding to you? Are you sitting down? Great! Now stand up and throw something! James Kottmeier
To MeJennifer "Fergie" Ferguson Today at 10:50 AM
Helmet,
O ensure those rates I need to get your order paid for by the end of Tuesday. I'm on a flight to Las Vegas for CES, so I have cc'ed Fergie on this email. She'll help get an order sheet out to you along with our wallet address. She'll need to verify an agreed upon exchange rate on BitStamp prior to sending you the order sheet and then that quite will be good for 24-hours.
Please "reply all" so Fergie is kept on the email and supply us with:
1. Your company name, if there is one 2. Your full name 3. Shipping Address 4. Phone number
Fergie - we'll extend this offer of 25 Sierra's for $5,900 each as long as payment is received by the end of Tuesday.
Best,
James Kottmeier Director of Sales Hashfast Technologies 415-767-8235 Skype: sjcolle Any bitcoiners still in denial that they're not trying to do a money grab? To me, it looks like a 90% certainty that this is just like TerraHash--but 10Xs worst.

I remember that in one of the early videos (Sorry, no link) Simon or possible Eduardo said he named the rigs after his kids.
Baby Jet
Sierra
Correct me if I'm wrong.
FUCK THE "NAMED THE RIGS AFTER BABIES" IDEA! James and John, or whatever the fuck their names are, have worked EACH other for years, and one of them lives at Sierra condos. <this post was edited for grammar, and other, and was quoted prior to the chances>

So Phin figured out that the Sales manager at HF is gay and uses several aliases. Not sure how this is relevant. In marketing and support it is actually quite common to use an alias. For example, employees at call centers in India all operate under different names. Not sure why one would need multiple aliases at the same time though...
The thing I took from it is that he's into prostitution, runs/ran several porn sites/escort services, and has some sort of weird god complex. His facebook posts say a lot about his character and what he's capable of as a person. Would not be surprised if he had some sort of weird twisted justification as to the actions of hashfast and that we're evil horrible customers for demanding what was promised to us. Good lord what has this thread turned into ? Something tells me that VP Marketing & Sales, John Skrodenis, who's coming from the porn industry did the hiring. John Skrodenis and Abram James Kottmeier have worked each with each other for years. Re: ► ► ►HashFast Endorsement September 09, 2013, 04:47:33 PM #529 HashFast has launched sales of it's second production batch. We are now selling our commercial grade unit, the Sierra, which contains 3 Golden Nonce (GN) ASICs, and all Baby Jet and Sierra machines can now be purchased with or without the Miner Protection Program™.
John HashFast.com Abram lives/lived at Sierra condos, but he makes it seem like he just joined the HashFast team. http://www.linkedin.com/in/jameskottmeierDirector of Sales HashFast Technologies November 2013 – Present (3 months)San Francisco Bay Area - Managing wholesale orders for high-value clients

I met Simon, John and Eduardo before they went public back in August and had to sign an NDA at the time. While they talked a lot and had some credentials to back it up, I advised my client not to invest the multiple million dollars they were asking for at the time. I also advised HF that they needed to make sure they were open, honest and didn't get into the mud with their customers because they didn't quite seem to understand the nature of marketing in Bitcoin and the Bitcointalk forums.
I remember specifically telling them NOT to bullshit their customers as BFL did because the results would be disastrous. John Skrodenis, their marketing guy at the time, knew very little about Bitcoin as he just came over from working for Kink.com, so I was just trying to give him the lay of the land.
They then proceeded to muck everything up from the beginning with affiliate BS and all sorts of stuff like the change in TOS, etc.
I'm really glad we stayed far far away from these guys, otherwise my client would have thrown millions of dollars into a black hole.
Hell, these guys didn't even know how to add the Bitpay widget to their website and had to be walked through it.
They also broke our NDA. Not surprised it isn't going well... IMO the most important thing is to get exclusive contracts with the porno sites, otherwise using any crypto doesn't provide any advantage to SXC.
I'm sitting on a sizable amount of SXC and will not be dumping any once it goes on an exchange
The webcam girls we have talked to are pretty much drooling over the thought of using SXC.. The other currencys simply don't have the branding, and won't be using any specail features coded into their clients for the industry, so won't gain a foothold. How many devs are out there actively trying to recruit sites?.. We will be starting with the smallest. We can also use our branding to gain publicity, another crypto isn't news. A crypto aimed at "the sex industry"... worth a bit of hype ... But "kink.com" for example, has a host of kinky sites under it's umbrella and uses it's in house currency "kinkcoins" so users can get a taste of materail from a site they own, but the user isn't subscribed to. We think they are the sorts of sites that will hold out the longest.Small sites and struggling sites will be the first to adopt, and as the currency and the business model gains traction, the huge sites will pretty much have to adopt as not doing so hurts their business. As I said before SXC is defying the odds, and I have been trying to buy, but everybody seems to be holding. I don't think there will be a huge dump, although certainly some holders will have weak hands. It will be interesting to see what the market does. We had the huge miner hit the network up again, but this time they were way more gentle, and that tells me that the info we recieved was probably just the result of an idiot boasting on an IRC channel. Somebody with a lot of hash is betting SXC is different than most of the crypto's and stashing some away...

Another photo studio? Why are they always from a photo studio and why do they always want to get into a buisness of selling ASIC to Bitcoin Miners? Would you believe me if I told you there's a Mediterranean restaurant across the street?

To be clear, it's not the gay aspect I was depicting. It was the various names used by the same person, and that the phone number affiliated with HashFast has been owned by Abram James Kottmeier for a very long time. Also, I shown where the Sierra name possibly came from--James' condo complex.

Would be interesting to start recording calls to hashfast to compare voices vs who they say their name is. I wonder if any of these people have given us real names.
