Ok, I was not aware of the context of that statement. The statement itself can still be interpreted in several ways [...]

http://hashfast.org/Simon_E._M._Barber

Quote
Given those points, it's evident that if Simon didn't actually promised full Bitcoin refunds with his answer (since that this is open to interpretation), he at least tried to pursue his customers into believing that if such refunds where to be issued, they would have been of the same Bitcoin amount.

The key is that Simon quoted the direct question accompanying his reply.

In the year 2014 William shatner acquires a bitcoin and proceeds to make a delayed transaction that won't actually occur until 2200. In that year the receiving end of the transaction is some future descendant in his family.... and it just so happens to be a young male who wants to buy an outrageously expensive starship.... which is still less than 1 BTC.

hmm is 2200 too soon?

Wikipedia, of which has yet to embrace Bitcoin, is your friend.

Sadly America is doing a great job at exporting this kind of stupidity across the world, I'm afraid this is nothing new but it does piss me off, just because somebody says something you find offensive doesn't give you the right to arrest them or ban them from saying it and if you do think that you're a fucking tyrant, children have no rights.

Now, with a police record, this kid will have a hard time become an OJ Simpson, Dennis Rodman, Michael Vick, Dr. Dre, Ike Turner, or Michael Richards.

I hope your trolling, that was a meteor that landed in Russia ages ago.

Did it have clearance to land, prior to requesting a flyby?

4586  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Here's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK at your Monarch! on: January 09, 2014, 05:06:48 AM
This is going to be quite entertaining.

In about 3 months the announcement that the cards will come with free cooling blocks, filled with liquid nitrogen immersed in dry ice.

With a warning that if you turn off the cooling before you turn off the Monarch, the card will turn to lava and burn through to the core of the earth.

As we learned from Fukushima, when something burns into the earth, it will eventually hit underground pockets of water. Finally exploding upwards and irradiating all living things.

In this case, expect shrapnel.

Was Shrapnel the name of the two-headed whale?: http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/1ukm98/twoheaded_whale_washes_ashore_in_baja_california/

@ PG

Lets play six degrees of seperation.

Find me a connection between BFL and HashFast (however indirect).

I can do it in two: Josh Lee = Josh Zerlan.  Grin Grin Grin

Remember, I'm the guy who linked Jacob Goldstein to Tom Williams and Freddie Mercury to Pavlov's Dog. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52367.msg723823#msg723823

You are starting to make me paranoid
Whatever you say, bud, but...
I see what you did there.  bud.
what was the wine company that was trying to raise money at the vegas meet?   wasn't it associated with all the guys that seemed to be there pumping up some coin?

I have his business card and brochure.
4590  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:59:49 AM
Phin STOP.   You are starting to make me paranoid.   Thank god I am not in Colorado or else you would have pushed me over the edge.
Grab the steel bar and wiggle it a bit, your frontal lobe needs a kickstart.
HashFast, post something.   Doesn't even need to be that positive.    Even a video of a board smoking would make me feel better.

Whatever you say, bud, but...

Can somebody make a new thread?  This sounds juicy but I can't follow what is going on.  I'm also incredibly tired right now so I apologize if it should be staring me right in the face.  So an employee named Erin is trying to keep her last name a secret?  For what purpose?

If you worked for HashFast, would you want to keep your identity private?

Another "time is everything" quote: http://www.chipestimate.tv/aboutus.php

Quote
"Time to market is critical in the fast emerging bitcoin mining market," remarks Josh Lee, founder and CEO of Uniquify, who notes that the design highlights the quality of Uniquify’s work. "First silicon worked as expected, proving Uniquify and HashFast can deliver leading-edge silicon in a short timeframe, and a testament to Uniquify’s expertise and ability to quickly turn a design without sacrificing quality."

I'm still curious if Josh (Jung) Lee is related to Charles Lee.

The tats are in the HF movie too.  It's the same woman.

But Erin quit, didn't she?  And she was, AFAIK, just the order taker (a slow one sometimes, but...)

Let's take it easy on her unless there's some greater reason to suspect that she may have had inside knowledge of a fraud scheme.  Heck, maybe she'll decide to spill.  After all, no NDA can restrain her from reporting criminal activity.

If she quit, then she can come here and state such, being that she's a member of this forum and was last seen here two days ago. Obviously, she's hiding something, since deleting a page I linked to.

Hell, she's even scrubbing her FB page: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:7UpUJdQhtEoJ:https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php%3Fid%3D166743106847068%26story_fbid%3D177731465748232+&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

Wow, you were right, already deleted.

Back up now, so perhaps she was editing or it was an anomaly.

I'm trying to see if there's a connection to Long Dong Johnson with the following found on Erin's FB page.

GameLink.com’s Jeff Dillon says that by and large the fundamental issue is that, “people who use bitcoin don’t pay for porn.”

“From what I hear it’s mainly a PR grab at this point,” Dillon told XBIZ. “But you can add a sale here or there from it.”

Ok, sorry. Speaking of Erin - any idea of who Erin is?
Asking for help from Bruno if he can.

For example, every other person associated with hashfast that wrote on their blog has their full name and surname, not Erin, that is called "Erin HashFast" on their blog.
http://hashfast.com/author/erin/

It's not on linkedin, either.

It looks like some kind of fake account with no real person behind it, or someone that cared about his privacy - an investor maybe?
