cool idea and great promo when its done.
Mount Bitcoin Race
Nice attempt, but a tad weak, I believe, considering I somewhat suggested the following in the OP: B2ME Prize. That, too, may miss the mark.

This would be pretty cool but I doubt we have many climbers among us.
Doesn't have to be a Bitcoiner. But to be able to claim the prize, they would need to have a wallet address in place or at least use a payment provider like BitPay.

You mean like with the code button? Forum may support a font with equal spacing, too, which would keep you from having to use the crippling {code} option. @Party | Men | Women | Average Offspring Walnut Grove | 30 | 5 | 2 Peanut Road | 20 | 8 | 5
Like the above, or with a specific font you suggested, but which font? Anybody? Thanks, Kluge. BTW, the following is what I was trying to accomplish:

Wait, so you can get banned and come back again by paying a fee?
Ironically, Atlas was once banned for suggesting such.

First mentioned here on my bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=433842.msg4763286#msg4763286Before I pen more about the subject at hand, have you read the rumor that somebody is still seeking a fellow Bitcoiner that's attending Super Bowl XLVIII to wave a banner I he had designed, then printed, inside MetLife Stadium during the game so that FOX Sports can capture the event, live, to be seen by their 100M+ viewers?Although there's not an official name for this race yet (suggestions?), the goal is to have several dozen flags (bounty in place to garner designs) in the hands of seasoned mountain climbers who are planning to ascend Mount Everest this summer, 2014 (maybe this'll become a yearly event). Once a domain name is procured, based on the name of the race, I'll have Rassah (he loves me) act as escrow to secure the bitcoin donations to be paid out to the first climber who completes the task, viz. document the planting of the sponsored Bitcoin-themed flag atop Mount Everest. Ideally, the B2ME Prize (just brainstormin') should be over $1,000 USD to make it worth their wild, of which would offset the high cost they have to dole out to climb Mount Everest regardless if there's a possible prize to be won or not. I remember reading that required insurance is $10K USD, or more, alone More info forthcoming, but meanwhile please express your support or otherwise by posting in this thread. Regards, ~TMI BTCITW

Can it be based on an existing flag?
Sure, but bear in mind the bounty's based on the best design regardless on what inspired the end result. BTW, I'm about to introduce a race that any climber can enter, with the winning funds, held in escrow, to be paid to the first person who documents the planting of the first Bitcoin flag atop Mount Everest. The flags will be delivered this spring to all the climbers wanting to participate in the race. Genius, eh? ~TMI BTCITW

Bounty is already in place for the next leg of Bitcoin's epic journey: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=433842Sadly, I'm still seeking a fellow Bitcoiner that's attending the Super Bowl next Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday, predicated upon the weather. ~TMI BTCITW

Mount Everest is already glowing in anticipation:

For inspiration, I offer up the flag that almost made it to the South Pole: The deadline for submissions is March 4, 2014, my birthday. I will pay out $100 USD via BTC on March 5, 2014, for the best flag design to be place onto Mount Everest this summer, 2014. The sign MUST have a place allocated for a QR-Code and the sponsor's name. As a place holder, please use BitPay and the following QR-Code: As always, I will be fair during payout time. This post may/will be updated, with all edits, sans grammar, appearing below my sig. ~TMI BTCITW

To be clear, I'm serious about this endeavor. Going to need a flag design. Any entity interested in having their logo on the flag like... Time for a bounty! ~TMI BTCITW

Since everything in the BTC network is public, doesn't it make sense to have them link us the direct wallet with the actual BTC funds? I've already advised family who invested in BTC to move far away from MtGox, it seems they are becoming more shady of a company every single day, which sucks because I use to tell everyone that MtGox is the safest exchange. You want proof! Can you handle the proof? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBBeHlqQYHM

Just wondering if you guys would rather have a house, apartment, land, or a hotel room.
I would personally go with land. It just draws me to it, and I love the great outdoors. The rivers, lakes, forests, and wildlife on land is something I would give up my house for. I would rather enjoy clean air, and clean water.
So post whatever you'd like to have.

If you're waiting to transfer coins when doing arbitrage, then you're doing it wrong. You need to have fiat-money on the cheap exchange and coins on the expensive exchange and make the 2 trades (buy low, sell high) as close to eachother as possible. Any delay means you're exposing yourself to exchange-rate fluctuations (which can be beneficial or detrimental).
The opportunities for arbitrage are very, very minimal.
Unless you live close to an Bitcoin ATM.

The purpose of providing the following image is to show what I've envisioned (possibly room for improvement) pertaining to what and how the symbols on the QE are generated. For the advantage QM located in Colorado, the following Symbol could be created: KPHHC3Stone Type: Kush Color: Purple Haze Location: Happy Canyon Hardness: 3 The total number of 10 character symbols currently mathematically possible is (51 9 X 9) if the first letter is always capitalized. Somebody, check my math. ~TMI BTCITW
