It can be a great lesson to see what happens and how they work without making sense. If that doesn't make sense you should stay away.
Only thing makes sense is how this scam team again going to dump their infinite shit on newbies via uniswap. People still promoting them so get ready to see some upset guys regretting over screwing up their precious time on a worthless shit like this. Or, someone swapping their precious assets for this then coming here crying.  Angry

At least we've talked about in this thread. I hope those who are still participating will see this talk and cease to have big hopes. It will waste people's time
I didn't expect much on this project when I visited their website. It's been over 1 month and there is no new version update, now they probably keep dumping on 1inchExchange.

Well, dev didn't come back here for the last 10 days, and his blind supporter that asked everyone to stop being paranoid, the very same one who created an account just to write and defended this project (hmm... suspicious... suspicious...) Were offline for almost one month. I think it's safe to say they gave up trying to fool people

No token allocation details? How many tokens are reserved for the team? And about team themselves, I didn't see this info on your... website, just a sub-header with no content below it.

There is on the site https://cryptonewsnet.com/learn-about-newstokens/

Still no details about team, no names and no faces. When will this info updated? And about token, what'll ensure us that dev won't dump their token on the first chance the get? Will it be locked? How long?

Trust or not, buy or not - it's a personal matter. We remind you once again that any trade on any cryptocurrency exchange has risks.

This translated as: yes, we won't be here long term, we'll leave in a short moment and taking your funds with us. Hence we'll poorly try to "warn" you from the beginning so you can't blame us
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DEFI] DogeToken $DGT Much wow! The Tokenized version of Dogecoin. on: December 29, 2020, 03:17:42 AM
You are making good points, I do believe overall alot of tokens will stay in the cctip ecosytem for quite awhile because of the high gas prices.  Part of the fun of DogeToken as Dogecoin is that it is fun and allows many to have profit if they are wise and hold it "to the moon"   Wink

I think the point is that high gas will be a problem at least well into 2021, until Eth 2.0 is fully adopted and deployed.

I do believe that you didn't really answered my questions, so I'll rephrase them in case it was misunderstood: what's your plan to create uptrends in price? Given you gave one-third for free and it has huge possibility to hold price at bottom level.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DEFI] DogeToken $DGT Much wow! The Tokenized version of Dogecoin. on: December 28, 2020, 04:35:50 PM
Is it true, you targeting 200k users for airdrop? It's 200k participant right, not 200k of token. That is a very large number, that's mean also need large liquidity for dumpers. Grin Where is the tokenomic? How much will be reserved for that airdrop?

Great questions.   yes our target is 200,000+ participants for our very large airdrop. DogeToken just like Dogecoin needs to be put into the hands of the community. We estimate that our airdrop will distribute 30%+ of the token supply even more. We are also running a bounty program and will expand it if successful.

And how do you plan to recover the price after a dump that follows? 30%PLUS airdrop will almost certainly creates a bloodbath, since airdropper would very likely to sell at whatever price available

We are sending out the airdrop via CCTIP and it will be low enough value that using $1-3 gas will not make sense for someone.   Once we gain much value and liquidity it will be fine for people to dump it if they want to later on once liquidity is there.

So DGT is a great buy early on for investors even with the large airdrop in place.

How is it a great buy? I didn't calculate the real numbers, but let's suppose the price point for someone to sell their airdropped token without having to suffer loss from tx fee is at 0.001 USD. Since 30% of your total supply is owned by airdroppers, that'll dump at the slightest chance of profit, wouldn't it be very likely that your price stuck at that level? Given one-third of the token were owned by weak hands.

Pls Attention!!!!!
Dear friends!! We are promoters of various projects. We create ads on request from project owners. Trading cryptocurrencies is a risky business as all major exchanges warn. As well as you can see, some projects are still working to this day. As for the latest project, Colonel. The group that was involved in the development of the Military token was in September 2020 on the Waves platform of the Made Node for Stacking and Paying rewards, for All holders of the Colonel Token. The Node is successfully working and currently paying rewards every week.
Good luck and profit to all.

Let's assume for a second that you're indeed are related to Military, what'll assure people that Colonel will not ends up just like Military? That you won't abandoned them at one point?

UP

Given how you could actually bump this thread with an announcement that the dead link is fixed (actually, there's a bumping feature at the bottom of this thread) or spent the time working to fix that simple issue, and yet you didn't, I have a strong impression that you actually don't want the link to be accessible. and it's quite shady.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ANN] Colonel [ Colonel Token ] on: December 27, 2020, 03:17:53 AM
Oh dear, people  canso easy to find out that this project is a dead crap that abandoned 2 years ago. Even on the site clearly stated the "Pre-Token Swap begins on December 15th, 2018" that was inevitable evidence Grin I seriously doubt you own this project.

If you read the accusation raised against them, you'll also learned that it's very likely are not even from the same project, it seems  they just borrowed the previous project's legacy

And this onepager can be exactly found in.... ? The only link to document I can find on this this thread and your website was the full whitepaper (the whole 131 pages of a document) which I am sure most would agree that it rather discourage people to read them diligently just to find info about this, especially since there were no "tokenomic" section on your index.

The project is in early stages as you could probably make out of the community member numbers. They recently switched their website's CMS and the lightpaper dropdown button should be available under the Whitepaper button. I can see it is not, just give it some time they'll update it.

I beg to differ on the "early stage" part, the project has been around for 2+ years, I noticed the whitepaper were from September 2018, and the website was launched around the same time. Most would agree that such time span is not "early stage" for a project, especially in crypto, although is very understandable that website undergoes update every now and then.

Now, while I am relatively patient and can wait for their site to be updated, i think there is an easier and quicker way to provide said document by sharing the link here. It will be beneficial for a lot of curious eyes in the future too, anyway.  Who knows, it could certainly help to liberate you from unnecessarily spoon feeding people with bite sized explanation for their trivial questions

These scums are back again and now under Binance's name!  Embarrassed

What do you mean? Like they're acquired by binance or something? Perhaps you should add more info about this. And about "these scums", I'm not defending them at all (I don't even know who they are), but doesn't their "return" were completely courtesy to your post? You're the one who awaken this sleeping thread

I think some comments are quite rash! It's true that we have see a lot of bad projects. But this one is already on exchange and even on CMC so I think it deserves a chance...

Allow me to throw a wild and rash guess, you stumbled upon this thread, feeling the comments were unfair and you decided that you've got enough. You just read the topics on this forum as guest before, but the harsh treatments here (who, by the way, are simply asking for an adequate whitepaper) are way too far and it's time for you to step up and create an account just to support this... project.

Just saying! nobody is forcing you to get it... Maybe you are right and it's just another shitty project! I just think we can wait some months before making judgement... Anyway stop being paranoid!

And again, we are simply asking for a whitepaper, a proper ones. Which one of the parts of the demands (either from me or from others) sounds paranoid?

On the other hand though, do you propose we wait for months before we start questioning their credibility? Like, so for now we'll just stick to the benefits of the doubt, buy the tokens, let them be funded, and only stamp them as a possible suspicious (or at least poorly performing project) after some months? Tell me, when exactly do you propose we could start making judgement? Should it be before or after the investment shows signs of loss?

though there are still plans for this coming year, but whats the status of below items that should be accomplished before the  ends?

Were they even still alive? Dev last update on this thread was on April, as well as their last online time, while their last announcement on telegram channel was on May. It looks more like an abandoned project if you asked me

Most likely, the developers switched to another more hype defi project, and this was paused.

Now interest in defies will fade away and they will turn their attention to this project again.

If it's true, then it is awfully wrong. If dev could switch between projects as they wish and abandoning the old one just because the new one project got a spotlight and then moving back to the previous project because the other started to dim, then it shows lack of commitment and a huge possibility they'll change to other hype(s) in the future.

they will focus more on the project where the money is right now. i noticed that also with some of the old projects here and they revive it to a defi platform. you really cant expect them to dedicate their resources to a dying project. they will always look for something that can eventually give them higher returns. but for buyers, they need to make an assessment before jumping on any hype.
we all know that in time, this hype will also be over. and a lot will lose their hard-earned money from this hype. so stay vigilant!

The exact reason why it is wrong. Many dev of poor-performing projects treats investors like their own personal cash sources where they can ask for some money when they had "brilliant" idea, leave the project when it turns sour, and asked for another fund for another project.

As for this project, was there any development or updates or anything worth showing that project is still on its track?

I don't quite understand this, your platform authenticate arts and prove ownership, at the same time you also didn't act as a middleman, the transaction happen directly between artist and collector. So you're doing the authentication and anti-counterfeiting for free?

Few things.

I'm, just an admin.

Nothing is for free.

There is an on boarding cost. Trivial question, already addressed on the one-pager. However, I'd love to explain it to you in byte sized pieces. Talk to me by joining the community and repeating the question.

Looks like this project is took a pause or something cos I don't see any changes recently. Also no news or additions. Maybe project team has some plan but I don't get it for now Sad
Maybe, since they also paused their bounty hunter to do work by locking the thread. He's active recently, so i guess he still aware about this thread. Let's hope the owner didn't getting ran out of idea by putting this project on a temporary halt. Roll Eyes

The bounty was not paused, it's concluded. You can see their end date was on 20th, spanning for only two weeks. Although... with current situation they have, I don't think the payment will worth something
