481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: June 05, 2021, 04:56:23 PM
Here we go again after his tweet that contribute to the market dip he is at it again and now he is tweeting

Musk Tweets He Supports Crypto in Battle Against Fiat Currencies

Quote
The true battle is between fiat & crypto. On balance, I support the latter.
Do you think he is trying to rally the market after the dip and will this stop the continuous drop in the market.
Elon's tweets are influential no matter how much we try to deny it.  Nevertheless we should not let his opinions affects our decision considering that he does not know much on crypto, it just happened that he has a net worth that's too high to be reached for a single person. If ever he is trying to rally the market, let us not complain neither give opinions about it. Let us just take advantage of it and make sure we can beat him at his own game. Bitcoin will still strive as well as other crypto even Elon Musk wouldn't hype it. Before him, everything is going well that just means even without him the crypto will keep on going high and surviving.
482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies panicking. on: June 05, 2021, 02:43:59 PM
BITCOIN DUMP.
For the past few weeks, bitcoin has been dumping and many coins have been dipping, causing fear and some individuals to sell their coins at a loss. I chose to write this on this site as a piece of advice for novices, since I feel they will be afraid and may sell their coins at a loss, which is extremely awful. I feel that everyone should simply hold their coins since the bear market is just transitory, and I believe that we will all see it through, but we must be patient and not panic and sell at a loss. We had a bear market like this in March of last year, and we survived it, so we will absolutely survive this bear market.
I think those who went through the bear market last time are far more afraid compared to newbies when it comes to the occurence right now. The newbies surely has an idea about it already since they are reading a lot of stuffs with regards to the incident that occured last 2018. They are way more independent on choosing which action to commit for this situation since they didn't experience emotional trauma from the first worst bear market that happened. Nevertheless, let us spread positivity towards others regardless of the situation and we'll surely survive it once again.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: June 05, 2021, 11:22:05 AM
i have been in the cryptocurrency field since 2014 and i have seen the brightest and darkest days of BTC but when i look at the current rising conditions of the bitcoin market i see that we have come a long way and most of the world is accepting the cryptocurrency payments and some lager brands are also connected to the BTC world.

but sometimes a thought crosses my mind that will these conditions last longer and better in the future?

what do you guys have to say about it?

let us know  Smiley
The future of bitcoin is still unpredictable and everyone is very curious about it. We can use the current occurence as a hint or as a pattern to predict what is going to happen in the next few years. There's nothing wrong with guessing what will happen in the future since that just means you are trying to make sure that everything you are doing will secure your future. Instead of stressing out if bitcoin will go down soon, why not focus on speculating the price movement and figure out what you can do to take advantage whatever situation it is.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: The Downfall of TSLA on: June 04, 2021, 04:51:00 PM
TESLA has been able to make innovation over the past years that exceeded everyone's imagination. Since the revolution of the new technology has begun, they are smart enough to lead and make an advance step forward what we should be expecting in the future. It might take time but soon we will witness that each car in the world is only electric cars which can be environmentally friendly. On the other hand, we cannot be sure that only TESLA would make such things so we should expect other huge auto companies would be making their moves too to follow TESLA's footseps.
485  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon is a troll! on: June 04, 2021, 03:55:24 PM
As long as you are paying attention to what Elon Musk is saying, he will just continue to feed on everyone's attention. It would be best if we would stop bothering on what he is saying and just keep our focus on our investments. You should listen more often to those people who are much knowledgeable about crypto so that you can earn more wisdom which you can use as an instrument to earn more profit here. If you are going to talk about Elon Musk still, he will only take advantage of it and keep on nourishing to the issues and maintain his large influence over many people.
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: June 04, 2021, 02:12:31 PM
Newbies do not panic, china have banned crypto up to 5 times since 2012 already and look around you, all those countries that put ban on crypto are the ones with people buying crypto the most, for example Nigeria and india there is no reason to panic because of China ban, also I would like to tell you guys that BTC have died too many times before, this is a prove that crypto is here to stay
Bitcoin has been discriminated and doubted over the years yet it was able to stay on top regardless of the issues it has faced. For those people who sold during the red market, they will surely experience regrets if ever bitcoin or other crypto suddenly recovers. China might be considered as big factor in crypto but still there are other countries that affects crypto much more than China does. Crypto is indeed here to stay, we should always have faith on crypto considering the achievements it was able to make over the years. Make sure that all the things you do will not lead you to regrets.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: June 04, 2021, 12:40:05 PM
Just want to put this out there. What is the problem with crypto mining and energy consumption? Yes, I know you'll raise environment concerns, I get it.

However, consider this: a civilisation is measured by its energy consumption. Before we discovered fire and used any stone tools, the only energy we had was whatever our bodies produced. Then we discovered fire, made tools, invented the wheel, etc. Until now, when we use computers, robots and other machines to help us live. Our life expectancy and quality of life has increased dramatically.

Shouldn't we concentrate our efforts on using clean renewable energy, rather than restrict our use of it?

Frankly, if there is a problem with too much energy consumption, we should go back and live in caves, and hunt in groups.
I think this concern has been paid attention to due to Elon Musk's reasoning on why he stopped using bitcoin as a mode of payment for Tesla. If we would put environmental concerns to our ways here in crypto, I find it reasonable why many people are concerned. Considering the fact that every resource from our natural environment has a limit, regardless of the time span it may take before it gets consumed completely, we should still find a way on how we can make it last longer. In the case of crypto, maybe there is a way on how we can consume energy and at the same time replace the energy used so everyone would agree and everyone would still benefit.
488  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you done listening to Elon ? on: June 04, 2021, 11:59:37 AM
Elon Musk has been making too much noise lately and everyone is getting mad at what he's doing. He's been the talk of the town for so long but now, everyone's tired of listening to what he's saying. It is much likely that Dogecoin would be affected with this occurence since Elon Musk's tweet are centralized on advertising it so if ever people would stop bothering with his FUDs about crypto and in dogecoin, we will surely see it crashing down continuously. In my experience, I never bothered to listen to what he is saying.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 03, 2021, 05:50:12 PM
We might not just be noticing but bitcoin is actually taxed already for some countries that allows the use of it. It may seem like it is a part of the scheme of the government but it actually helps it through making it look like a real currency or a potential currency in the future. The taxation might even help bitcoin become recognized by other countries as a helpful currency since many people are already patronizing the use of it. Either way, with tax or without tax let us hope bitcoin would get the recognition it deserves as well as the legalization of it on other countries.
490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the importance of monitoring weekly paid posts on: June 03, 2021, 05:22:49 PM
I do see some people that have quality weekly posts but were not paid by the campaign managers because they did not meet up the task given them to accomplish, this may not be the fault of the posters until the posters noticed his ignorance caused him to lose the weekly payment. I remembered there was as time I joined Ownr wallet signature campaign, participants needed to make 20 posts weekly, I posted 22. I was not paid because 4 of my posts were moved to off-topic and I lost the weekly payment. I noticed my fellow full member were not also paid, the first user had 21 posts but only 18 were eligible for payment while the second user had 27 posts but only 19 were eligible for payment. This was a mistake from full members which were newbies about signature campaigns. I noticed it do also happen to old members but not usual.

You can check the spread sheet here, week 13.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13r1Opy4g5-FaPUnYPCciavRo0WsoNJkHamIPmKAB4RY/htmlview#

It is good to keep to the rules of a campaign, there are may other ways someone will be serious but yet will not receive the weekly wage because of ignorance. That is why I am using this post to make other people aware of how they can have quality post, post more than the minimum numbers required for weekly payment and yet not paid because some of their posts have been moved to boards that are not eligible for weekly posts that will be counted to receive weekly payment.

What to keep in mind to be able not to miss the weekly payment

1. It is always good to read the rules of a campaign
2. Making sure you post on the board that will count for weekly payment (though that does not limit you to only posting on eligible boards)
3. Check your post history and count the eligible posts a day to the end of one successful week of posting
4. Making more than the minimum post required for weekly payment. If the minimum is 20, you can make 30 or more. Let your posts have good quality.
5. Make sure the topics you post under have high quality, some topics can be deleted which will result to the deletion of the whole thread.
6. Make sure a topic is not having off-topic characteristics before posting there, some topics on eligible boards will later be moved to off-topic
7. You should not spam, plagiarize or have low quality posts

I was very unhappy to have a good posting week but yet I was not paid because my some of my posts were moved to off-topic, try to always monitor your posts, count it like a day before the posting week will end. If some have been moved to non-eligible boards, you will still have one day to make corrections.
Maintaining quality posts for over a week was never an easy thing it is very frustrating whenever you fall short on the post count and you ended up getting no payment at all. Even though the time given is long enough, it is mentally tiring to make quality posts that fits to the topics and part some knowledge for other people. I always make extra posts whenever I reach my quota so that if ever one or more than two of my posts are deleted or moved to non-eligible boards, it will still make it to the required post count for that certain week.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we entering bear market? How low will btc go in the coming year? on: June 03, 2021, 04:47:20 PM
Unfortunately, we are indeed on the bear market already. Holding wouldn't be a bad idea at all since a bull market is still expected to occur within the year or next year. Many people are quite confused right now but for me, we should take advantage of the current fall of bitcoin's price and start investing while there's still time. It's either we end up regretting or we gain much benefit as we hold on to our investments as the bull market happen once again. Let us not let this opportunity slip on our hand or else we will regret it our whole lives once again, just like on 2018 bear market.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: June 03, 2021, 04:07:19 PM
For me, my worst experience was when I sell off during the market of 2018. I forced myself to hold as long as I can but it occured too long that's why I tried to save myself from losing much more money but little did I know, a bull run would suddenly occur at 2020 and I regretted it a lot. Right now, even though I don't have much left, I still try to invest once again and I know it will be worth it soon regardless of the current status of the market. I will hold my investments because the only way bitcoin is going to soon is upward.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: June 03, 2021, 03:44:13 PM
Many people have been talking about a full government ban towards Bitcoin. Some said that Bitcoin could be banned the same way Gold was banned a couple of years ago. This is to prevent people from using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on top of Fiat. After all, governments want to control people's money. Something that's decentralized and outside the reach of the government, should be banned from the face of the Earth (according to governments' mindset).

What do you think? Will governments (especially the US government) ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? Or is it too late to do something about it? Will Bitcoin survive if all governments unanimously agree to ban its usage worldwide? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
There are plenty of countries already that has banned bitcoin and it is not so far from happening that every country will come together against bitcoin. It might be something we should be scared of but after all we still have the decision on what we are going to do with our financial freedom. There are many people who lives in countries where bitcoin was already restricted yet they still manage to find ways on how they can access and earn from it. The government might have the power to stop other people but there will always be some who would find ways no matter what.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: June 03, 2021, 03:18:39 PM
It is just too impossible from happening right now considering that the most of the government in different countries are against it. We cannot blame them actually, bitcoin is a decentralized currency and they are not gaining anything from it at all. A lot of adjustments would be needed first before it happens and we all know how backed-up fiat currencies are by the government itself. Bitcoin might be a lot more better than it but the government still holds the rule on what is allowed and what should be declared as a central currency.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 03, 2021, 02:48:55 PM
It is actually quite confusing on learning what's best to do in this kind of situation. There are many people who surely considered hodl instead of selling due to what they experienced before during the last bear market we experienced on 2018. They now have higher faith that no matter how long it will take, they will believe that the market will soon recover again. On the other hand, some people just doesn't have enough faith on crypto that's why they sell off and other circumstances might have pushed them to do so.
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are scammers getting dumber? Or is it people they aim for are so naïve? on: June 03, 2021, 02:11:25 PM
Scams in real life and scams in crypto are two different things. Maybe scams outside crypto are more deemed to be dumber compared to what we have in crypto. Newbies can easily be tricked specially by those who are smart enough to make ways on how they can zip the deal with someone they are stealing from. Scammers in crypto are improving unlike in real life situations, their schemes are too repetitive that only a very small percentage gets scammed by their ways. Just be aware and wise still even though we all know how scammers play their games, precautions are better than regrets.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Organised crime on: June 03, 2021, 01:39:08 PM
Crimes involving the use of bitcoin has been going on for years and it has been the medium on how those who commit felonies keep their anonymosity. We can't blame for being like that neither consider ourselves criminals for owning such. The crime you commit defines what rules against the law you have done and those things are the ones that can get you in jail. There's nothing wrong for not caring about those kind of criminal acts because there are too many already and mostly the powerful people in the world are behind those.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2021, 11:45:58 AM
We can actually see how much the epidemic affected bitcoin considering the fact that the bull run occured months after the start of the pandemic. It gave off a positive outcome as many people ended up using bitcoin as an investment due to the current closing off their current regular jobs. The economy for many countriew went down for sure but it provided us time to take advantage of our investments wherein we were able to provide more time with it and focus which probably made many benefit as the bull run occured if ever they were able to buy and invest before the bull run.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of your first contact with BTC? on: June 02, 2021, 09:33:46 PM
At first I thought it was just a currency in games but as I learned more about it, I started getting more interested. My friends told me about it and encouraged me to find ways on how we can earn from it. As soon as we got the chance to earn which is here in the forum, we did everything and we started investing. Everything went into mess when the bull run last 2018 happened but now we are trying to make up for the mistake we did before and even though it is the bear market, we're not giving up on our investment once again.
500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social media advice to newbies on: June 02, 2021, 09:06:56 PM
Random strangers will never contact you through message to help you with your crypto investments, this should be obvious to everyone of you, just reply them 'scammer' and hit the block button or adjust your social media app to block unknown strangers, there are many of these people on telegram, Twitter, Reddit etc
Indeed, it should be a hint already if ever you experience such kind of things. No one would ever help you out and give you large amount of money or profit not unless you work hard for it. There are a lot of social media platforms and at the same time, there are a lot of scammers on each too. Be careful on whom you are giving your trust to, it could be much better if you would not even give your trust to anyone other than yourself. Be wise and smart when picking which investment to join so that you will gain money instead of losing because of frauds.
