501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best thing that have ever come to you thanks to BTC on: November 19, 2023, 09:34:55 PM
The best thing about Bitcoin is that it's changed my life. If there weren't Bitcoin, then I couldn't become a crypto marketer and couldn't earn a handsome amount that changed my life. Since I joined the forum, I have learned a lot of things that I have been applying in my life. I have a crypto marketing service out of that forum, from which I earn Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. So big thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto for a life-changing gift.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An easy approach to Bitcoin on: November 19, 2023, 09:06:26 PM
It isn't necessary to force kids to learn about Bitcoin until they mature. Because overloading them would have a negative impact on their minds. Showing them a Bitcoin cartoon really won't help, according to me. Because they will just enjoy the cartoon and not learn about Bitcoin. Since we are directly related to Bitcoin, ultimately our next generation will learn it. I am not saying it's a bad approach, but it's not very important. More beneficial will be teaching them when they are teenagers and very well-versed in using smart phones. Instead, playing games teaches them trading.
503  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources send merit based on their feelings or quality of the post? on: November 19, 2023, 08:55:26 PM
Before becoming a merit source, we were a general forum member. So for me, I always act like I did before. Merit source doesn't mean something extra ordinary. I merit a post where I like it and find it worthy. Sometimes I send a large number of merits even if the post is not worth it because of rank. When someone is struggling to rank up and needs some merit, I help them. We have emotion as well, but we don't necessarily need to show it through merit. I merited my enemy posts as well, when I found them worthy. So for each merit source, thoughts would be different.
504  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 19, 2023, 08:37:01 PM
And yes, the cards in the card section have been wiped off  Grin
It looks like they are totally getting rid of the MasterCard partnership and trying to bring in Visa without actually telling us what is going on in details. Terrible way of doing things.
Their service and support are totally bad. I thought their service would be beneficial for those who are looking for a virtual card that can reload with cryptocurrency and could be used everywhere. So at least we can use our crypto for our needs. They disappointed me with their recent activities. It seems currently their sending money through banks is also not working. I am not sure what's on their mind. Probably they are totally moving from Mastercard to Visa Card. If next time they do the same thing, then they will not find their existing clients. Everyone will leave them forever.
505  Economy / Reputation / Re: [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... on: November 18, 2023, 08:13:47 PM
My Countdown to Get  ''Member" Rank
Number of merit(s) left:1
You are memeber now.

My Countdown to Full Member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 19 18 16 8

I would appreciate your support, thank you guys.
You are a full member now. Keep contributing to the forum.
I will keep visiting this thread.

I am really interested in helping users who have been struggling to rank up.

Guys, don't rush when you are applying here. You aren't getting your desired merits, but that doesn't mean no one has seen your application. There might be many reasons behind not getting merits. So please keep respecting other people's thoughts. Don't try to push by bumping your post. Rather, consider how you may contribute to the forum.
506  Economy / Reputation / Re: People not reading page 1 comments discussion thread. on: November 18, 2023, 07:59:58 PM
You can't control it, actually. Do you know that even many users don't read the post made by OP? They just reply based on the topic title. When companies and managers pay for posting on the forum, participants just think about meeting the weekly requirements. They just need to increase the post count. They really don't care about real engagement.

To be honest, identifying these types of users is too hard. Because the manager will not verify each post for each user in this manner. You may see a few users, and you bring up this issue. But sadly, everyone knows about this issue. I am pretty sure these users are not going to change their behaviour, or something else will start. It means it's quite impossible to prevent totally.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The prospect of mixers in a congested mempool on: November 18, 2023, 07:43:57 PM
Yes, a congested Bitcoin network would be challenging for the mixer business. But I don't think this is a permanent issue that has been normalised already. However, there is an easy solution for mixers as well: paying a high fee could help with faster transactions. Since they are running a mixing business, they should have an idea of how it should be done. This isn't a critical situation that would be solved just by increasing fees.
508  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account Frozen Due to Suspicion of Money Laundering on: November 18, 2023, 07:24:34 PM
I can believe Bitmart would freeze your funds for some reason. But I don't believe they asked to make a new deposit for the same amount that you are holding on your account. Most probably, you have been using scam sites or phishing sites. Just tell us how you got this 74K on your account. Was it something like a deposit bonus? If so, then it's a clear scam. More importantly, you should share which website you have been using and deposit proof as well. So we may give you a clear idea.
509  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Aptos Fake/Scam Airdrop Site on: November 18, 2023, 07:17:28 PM
I am just curious: are forum users still running behind the Airdrop scam? I mean, Airdrop is totally a scam; it doesn't matter if you get worthless tokens or compromise your wallet through fake links. At the end of the day, you are a loser. You are spending your time and getting nothing. I will advise you to just stay away from airdrops, so you don't need to identify fake or real airdrops. Keep in mind that nothing is free in the world; you have to lose something when you want to get something free. Anyway, thanks for sharing the phishing site.
510  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 18, 2023, 07:10:30 PM
I am quite disappointed in their card service. It seems the card section has become blank, meaning I can't find any information about my existing cards. There are a couple of ongoing subscriptions from those cards, and I am not sure when they will solve this issue. It's been a long time since they paused their card service, though all other services are working fine. If they don't value users thoughts, then they must lose their clients. Card is a serious need; we create it to be used online. I hope they will enable cards as soon as possible.
511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's better to provide Quality and not Quantity... on: November 17, 2023, 10:26:02 PM
What are you doing, actually? Because you are doing the same things that you want to prevent others from doing. I still feel you need to learn a lot of things before teaching others. Because you are still a newbie and you are trying to teach other newbies. That's not a good practice at all. I will advise all newbies: before creating a thread, just make sure it's necessary and meaningful. You aren't maintaining the quality that you are talking about. So please spend more time on the forum and learn before advising others.
512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to create a Bitcoin Mixers / Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: November 17, 2023, 09:15:43 PM
If you are a developer, you have to build a script where you will break the transaction history. You need to store Bitcoin, which is fresh and doesn't have much transaction history. The hard task is collecting a large number of fresh funds and splitting them. I mentioned how it should actually be, but I don't have any programming skills. You may investigate a few existing Bitcoin mixers and how they work. So you may gain some knowledge.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2023, 09:07:27 PM
I know a couple of women who are involved with Bitcoin. I am really not surprised, actually, that 10% of the total Bitcoin ecosystem is made up of women. Because women's have some limitations. They aren't like us; they could not take decisions on anything. Women usually don't want to take risks and don't want to lose something. They like to live in a comfort zone. As we know, to become Bitcoin investors, we need enough patience since there is a lot of risk involved. So they don't want to come out of their comfort zones, and they don't have enough time to research like us. They have to maintain families as well. I am not sure if others agree with me, but these are my thoughts.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 17, 2023, 08:58:56 PM
These have been discussed a lot on the forum, but still, we are struggling to understand Bitcoin movements. The main problem is that we don't have enough knowledge about Bitcoin, and we always consider it an investment opportunity. If we know the goal behind Bitcoin creation, then we may be aware of how Bitcoin works. Still, many people compare Bitcoin with the Ponzi scheme, which is totally wrong. It's just due to a lack of knowledge. However, we have to invest that we can afford to lose. Bitcoin is a highly volatile cryptocurrency, and we may need to hold it for a long time to get profits from it. If someone is looking to become quick rich, Bitcoin isn't for them.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high can the transaction fees become? on: November 17, 2023, 07:51:58 PM
Usually, when the Bitcoin network is congested with a large number of transactions, the transaction fees become high. It doesn't happen always; lately, a few projects enabled mint NFT on the Bitcoin network, hence making the network congested. It mostly happens when that NFT project becomes hyped and a lot of people start using it. So high transaction fees aren't a permanent issue. Though we can't forecast the transaction fees in the future, using a SegWit address would reduce transaction fees. I am not well aware of lightning transactions.
516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First buy Bitcoin as a newbie, good way to start. on: November 16, 2023, 08:54:42 PM
I won't advise investing in bitcoin without knowing it. Why should you jump on something about which you don't have proper knowledge? To know Bitcoin, you don't need too much time lately. Because of Internet connectivity, it's very easy to learn something we need. So gaining some knowledge before investing in Bitcoin is advisable. You can invest in your savings and avoid the high risk of losing your funds. If you treat Bitcoin as an investment opportunity only, then how will you learn the technical part of Bitcoin? Without knowing everything you need, you can't make the right decision in real time.
517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what and which are custodial and non custodial wallets. on: November 16, 2023, 08:47:03 PM
Custodial means coins aren't under your control; non-custodial means you are the owner of your funds and you can do whatever you want. Based on this, we may need a different wallet for each individual. Like when we intend to trade on a centralised exchange, we have to move the funds there. Keep in mind that funds aren't safe to exchange and move them to your non-custodial wallet after trading. For long-term holding, we must have a non-custodial wallet. For best practices, I always advise using a hardware wallet as a non-custodial wallet. You have to learn and study more to realise what type of wallet you actually need.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start with the little you have, you don't need millions of dollars to own BTC. on: November 16, 2023, 08:40:39 PM
It is actually called the DCA strategy; in this strategy, you don't need to invest a large amount. It doesn't matter if you aren't rich; if you have good intentions to invest and hold, then any amount you can buy. If we don't have a large amount and can't afford to lose, then the DCA strategy is best for us. We can invest a portion of our savings and hold it tight until we have good profits. If you are looking for a bottom, then you may not find it because Bitcoin is unpredictable anyway.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you track bulk Bitcoin transactions being carried out by whales? on: November 16, 2023, 08:17:28 PM
No, I don't like to track any other transactions outside of my own. Why should we spend time monitoring whale transactions? But sometimes it seems a few Twitter Kols post whale movements alert. But for that, I don't feel there is much impact. Everyone has the right to move their funds accordingly since crypto is decentralised. Unless there is sell pressure in the market, you shouldn't react to whale fund movements. I admit that sometimes this kind of whale transaction becomes a reason for FUD, which sometimes increases sale pressure. But it doesn't happen most of the time.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's a good app for watching your porfolio? on: November 16, 2023, 08:08:52 PM
I am curious: why do we need a portfolio tracker? Aren't we holding funds in our wallet? Can't we check everything there? Why do we need external apps for that? However, if you still need a portfolio tracker, then just buy a hardware wallet. So together, you will secure your funds and monitor your portfolio without connecting your wallet. Most hardware wallets have operating software where you can see everything. But for handling funds, you should do it on the device itself.
