~snip~
We can see that Azure Ray are already present in group A, this means that the management didn't care about Korb3n's words and thereby showed who is in charge here. I even admit that it was done to spite him))
Yeah, it is visible that Azure Ray is on the Group A already and they received no warning about being disqualified due to having 3 replacement of their players whether they are stand-ins or not.

And if Korb3n is going to push this disqualification, he may have been heard but it's still up to ESL's decision.

I will watch their matches with great curiosity and interest, especially the matches against Gladiators, BetBoom that I am looking forward to the most. I also think that they will still make it to the playoffs, and I won’t guess further, we’ll take it step by step.
I'm still expecting a lot from them since the roster is still promising and composed of good players.

Did you guys heard or read the rumors about Wawitas Sagazes going to be sign under Boom Esports?
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see individual satoshi becoming valuable? on: December 02, 2023, 09:28:40 AM
As Philip is able to explain the sats to Bitcoin conversion for each sat into centavo. I also think that it's going to take time if each sats will have value in the future.

To make it short, and for other calculation. It's going to be with a dollar per satoshi.

1 BTC = 100M sats = $100M to make it at least $1 per sat.

And if it's going to be in cents as per philip's calculation, that's still going to require a lot of price and market cap for Bitcoin to achieve it.
Well, it doesn't have to reach $100 million (or $1 per satoshi) for satoshi to be considered valuable, although that depends on what the op means by valuable. If it's in a sense that even owning, say, 50 satoshi is a lot of money, then no, not very realistic. But if it's in a sense that it would be more convenient to refer to amounts in satoshis (say, 1 thousand satoshis), then I'd say that when Bitcoin is at $10 million (or 10 cents per satoshi),
You're right, even if it's going to cost just a few cents then that doesn't change the fact that Bitcoin is going to be valuable by that time. Even a few satoshi's going to be cost a lot and could have a better price than what it is now, it's possible that we actually gonna see that in the future.

I think it would be a good time to switch. But I'm not sure if we'll ever see Bitcoin get there, so in the foreseeable future satoshis will remain insignificant.
Well, that's a question that no one's gonna know the answer. We'll never know if we will be able to see it happen someday to reach that pricing because we don't know how long we'll be on this world.

504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 01, 2023, 11:33:04 AM
Honestly, I have never heard of this strategy about gambling only 1% of your household income. What I am telling and believing is about gambling only with your spare mone but I think this sounds better than that.

No more than 1% of your combined household income shall be spent into gambling and with this, you're able to track your expenses and the risk that you're taking with that amount is bearable and not that much.

But with that, the control is also on you and you have to manage yourself that if ever you got out of the 1%, you're going to stop. The struggle is there for some gamblers that when they attain that amount, they can't help themselves but to continue and slash more from their incomes.

506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the DOJ doing too much? on: November 30, 2023, 09:11:36 PM
Whichever government agency in the US that's assigned to monitor these investing matters, they need to step in and do what they can so that they're trying to protect their people.

There's no problem on what they does and the same goes for Binance in our perspective. But it's that there's a violation found on Binance's end and they shouldn't just sell these NFTs without having that permission or permits that they've complied.

And that means that there's a need for them to clear these things and there's basis to what's issued to them.
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding and setting up the right security measures. on: November 30, 2023, 12:34:56 PM
If you are thinking of hackers, fraud people, scammers, private keys and intruders. You should start with yourself, informing or learning on how to protect yourself.

There is no other people that will protect your assets but only you. I just don't understand the connection of Bitcoin's drop in value because what is the thing that pushes it with security?

The only connection that I can think of it is the security of its price and stability. But know that Bitcoin isn't like that but it's always been volatile.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 12:47:59 AM
This a long overhaul and grind for that guy. Well, don't mind the people that are saying things about gambling because they have bad experience on it or they've seen bad results from the people that they love on it.

We can classify that there are good and bad effects of gambling and there are gamblers that can win good money from it. But it's also not always like this for the majority of us.

Regardless of that, I am happy for that guy for making such patient journey through sportsbetting and made a lot of money from the initial capital or bankroll that he has got.
509  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 29, 2023, 04:14:51 PM
Anyways we need platforms like QuitGamble etc so that people keep reminding themselves of the dark side of it and remain in balance while gambling.
After gambling, when everyone who's on the dark side will come to realize that they can't do it alone if they want to quit already. With services like quitgamble and others that are the same in existence.

They're the ones helping the gamblers who don't have any solution for their current problem and they can't face it on their own.

Having guides like qg is going to help them the need that they should have for them to overcome gambling problems that's hard to deal if done alone.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Combination of the young age correlated with Bitcoin for the future on: November 29, 2023, 01:45:46 PM
Hello everyone

I have a very good friend who owns almost 4 Bitcoin in his early 20s.
However, he told me he didn't know exactly what to do in his current situation(life).

He doesn't know whether he should sell these 4 Bitcoins in the next bull run in order to live his life, since he is in his early 20s, or whether he should continue to work and stack, since the Bitcoin can continue to rise steadily.
He finds himself in a mental dilemma between.

Basically, we know that Bitcoin is something like a safe haven.
Do you have any tips or how would you behave if you were in a similar situation?

Thank you for your input.
And I hope I can motivate him a bit with these inputs.

Friendly HODL
I'd sell some and will keep on holding the rest. If I am still at that age, I'd enjoy the money that I'll get from selling a few from that stash. There's no need to rush and tell your friend that he should think what he wants to do with his life while he's young.

There is no need to get pressured with life and he's got a lot of bitcoins being held. That means that he can be financially free as of now and can do that much with that money.

Depending on the country you reside, if it's from a first world country then that amount may not that be much compared to the actual rich people but hey, that's still $150k so, can be said as financially free guy.
511  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Binance exchange delisting the crytop currencies and the sport trade pairs on: November 29, 2023, 01:21:58 AM
I believe this thread should be on Service Discussion than Speculation. Yeah, we're speculating but this section is all about speculations for Bitcoin and not for what happened to certain exchange and why it has to delist some pairs.

These delistings are pretty common for exchanges especially Binance and they've got standards and reasons for doing so.

Maybe this article will give some light why they had to do it: Binance Will Delist BTS, PERL, TORN, WTC on 2023-12-07

This is the rapid information appeared very quickly that I did not expect. Apparently this was planned for a long time in Azure Ray because they were completely ready for this. At the moment they have not been removed from the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and something tells me that with a high degree of probability they will play on it.
I wasn't also expecting that the Azure Ray's roster will be that complete. I think in terms of these roster changes, they're all ready with the replacements before they even announce the player's departure.

And for their ESL participation, they'll play for it and if that's fine for the management with 3 replaced players as final roster, then it will do.

I would be very curious to see how they will show their game there, but on the other hand, their participation is quite controversial, as Korb3n said. I'll laugh if they win it, LOL. What will he say in this case?)
We will see, he's influential though but it's still up to the ESL's management decision.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 28, 2023, 11:30:35 AM
Guys, have you heard the news about the Azure Ray? Three of its members have already left the team. Somnus, fy and chalice. These three were once have built the strong LGD line up and I think that with the rumors that ame going back to the pro scene is related to this.

For those that don't know what I am saying, this is for Dota 2 folks.

Who else is believing here that we're going to see the reunion of Somnus, fy, chalice and Ame? I think that they should also include xnova for the new team that they're building but with the rumors, it was said to be xinq.
Yes, we heard, it was interesting to watch this reunion. They're clearly up to something) It's strange that they did this when there was not much time left for the start of the tournament.

Now there are 2 players left in Azure Ray, finding 3 more could be a big problem.

Among other things, Korb3n said that he was waiting for the official announcement from ESL about the disqualification of Azure Ray because 3 substitutions are not allowed by the rules. It is unknown how the ESL leadership will react to this, but I think that Korb3n is right and it will happen as he said.
I guess that makes sense if Azure Ray is part of the invited teams and they're going to play with 2 original players + stand-ins. And as for the rumor that I have heard.

It is not XinQ that's going to be with the 3 players that left AR but it is him that's going to be part of the new roster of the Azure Ray.

Check their new line up folks.

515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: November 27, 2023, 03:25:04 PM
Bankroll management is vital for any positive sports bettor. I don't think there are many that do it professionally without a good roll management plan.
Most professionals have their own way of managing their bankrolls and I think, they won't become professional if they don't have the discipline to do so.

Hard to stay level headed when you lose a game of inches.
This is a fact.

Even with a few losses with any bets you make from different games, that's going to give you hard time in maintaining yourself composed because every single lose that we make changes our mood.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 27, 2023, 11:22:57 AM
I thought that you're sharing a happy ending on this but not this time. The lesson that we can learn here is, it's not about how big profit or win that we get.

But it's about on how we're able to save or keep that profit that we make. Because for some who wins a big amount, the thought that it can easily be spent is there because you've got it easily as well.

If you're the type of person that secures every profit you make, taking out the bankroll or capital you've got and then continue gambling with your profits, that's okay. However, if you're also gambling everything after all the winnings and capitals you have, the problem is on you.

I hope that you can recover from this experience and thank you for sharing.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: November 27, 2023, 09:33:20 AM
But considering that $2.67 is the top priority for doing a transaction as of this moment. I'd probably DCA and have a minimum like $50 and above.

That's right, $50 is the minimum price and if you want to enter more than that figure it would be even better and if you want to do WD after you can earn money later, I don't think it's too much of a cut from your initial capital.
Yeah, as long as the fee is like that make sure that amount or any amount you think that it won't hurt the capital that you're going to send to your wallet. Because the fees are changing and still dynamic.

But, if it's not necessary, just hold on and continue to make DCA purchases regularly whenever you have extra fortune.
If you can't take the fee and you're feeling that there's such a waste. I agree that it's better to hold and wait until the fees drop a lot like reaching back to 1 sat/vB but we don't know when exactly that will come back.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: November 26, 2023, 11:22:47 PM
What are your thoughts on this? I feel like I may use the money kept for DCA for other expenses.
My thoughts exactly are that these is an example of a challenge to DCA-ing that an investor who is committed to investing in bitcoins should be ready to face when they plan to DCA. As an investor you should not allow the high transaction fees affect your investment plan, you have to find a way around it else you will regret it.

If you know that keeping the money meant to DCA while tx fees are high will be difficult for you, give it to someone trusted who can hold money for you.
It's because that we're like that. If we're not going to spend our money for DCA as soon as possible, the chance of it being spent for something else or any othe expenses is very likely.

That's why if you have spare money and you want to DCA it and you want to avoid the fees, there is no other option that's left for you. I'd also gonna try to wait for the network to get some breathe out of the clog that it has got.

But considering that $2.67 is the top priority for doing a transaction as of this moment. I'd probably DCA and have a minimum like $50 and above.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 26, 2023, 06:19:14 PM
When you gamble, the chance is not going to change for you to become addicted if you're not careful and you won't watch yourself. Everyone, newbie and old time gamblers have changed their lives because of gambling.

You define if most or few of them changed for the better or for the worse. As you begin to gamble, as you watch your bets and self because emotions are always part of the bets.

Do not get hooked with most of the bets you do. I mean that you bet and that's it, don't include your feelings on it and whether you lose or win, just accept it fairly.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ? on: November 26, 2023, 04:10:18 PM
Although I've got some from that list that I don't think will reach those prices for the cryptos that you've given. But what I have learned on this market is we're all speculating and we will never the future of majority of these coins.

And of course for Bitcoin, it's all possible and that's the highest chance that it will be able to reach that price and even higher.

Even if I want to slash some from those list as their prices seems to be high for me based on their current volume and liquidity and also including its supply, I'd apply what I've learned that everything is possible.
