521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 15, 2023, 01:32:39 PM
Correct Roobet seems to lessen their way of advertising here in Bitcointalk and not planning
to add more anytime in the future as even their Signature campaigns are now running with 10 members from 60 regular members
It's pretty common for most casino after some years of launching themselves here. If you remember the likes of Cloudbet, Bustadice,Bitsler etc, they used to have lots of promotions here back in the day but as time passed their activity reduced in the forum.
Now I am not saying every casino follows the same path but sometimes these things happen.
522  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: December 14, 2023, 11:57:09 PM
Manchester City usually play very good in last months of each season and those months will be key for them to win the trophy.
We will see if they will repeat the same thing this time round. In my opinion, It's going to be way harder for them this season because we now have Liverpool in the mix. Manchester City also have so many games to play including club world cup, not forgetting that their key players keep getting injuries like KDB. I mean last season if it wasn't for KDB and Rodri, Champion's League was still going to remain a dream for them

now fingers crossed for the announcement of next round matches which are going to have very interesting because now Inter Milan is also ending at second spot now who they are going to face It's also very interesting for the soccer fans.
There's also Napoli and PSG. I am looking forward to the Knock-Out stage draws
523  Economy / Scam Accusations / Flag reference for CryptoCraftsMan(UID = 3592888) on: December 14, 2023, 11:39:35 PM
What happened: CryptoCraftsMan claims to know a scheme where one can earn more than 40% of their deposit per day. This is definitely too good to be true and probably scam

This topic serves a reference for a flag going to be created against his profile

Additional Notes:
A scheme making a guaranteed more than 40% per day of one's deposit is unsustainable and a lie. Do not deal with the user.

524  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is it worth a newbie warning flag in this case? on: December 14, 2023, 11:24:54 PM
He already has two tags from you and C-T. IMO, it's enough to send the message across to anyone who sees his post and goes through those tags. Secondly, with those tags on him, it's not going to be very comfortable for him to shill those his scam get rich quick fucking schem.
Yes, for an experienced and old member like you and me the tags may seem enough. But to a newbie or guest user, the active flag will display a banner on top of every post started by the scammer warning the users to proceed with caution when going to deal with them

Edit:

I have created a flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3258
525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sharakarma.com on: December 14, 2023, 11:10:08 PM
Hey buddy!

Let me get this straight.

Assuming I want to sell my wise USD for Bitcoins through your platform, so you take up the order, use the Binance p2p exchange, carry out the trade and then send me the Bitcoins into my address for a commission?
Is that howe your platform works?
526  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com (e)Sportbook and Casino: Millions of bonus monthly on: December 14, 2023, 10:34:23 PM
Bitsler have their own forum
And so do the likes of stake  Wink

Speaking of marketing, Like I thought that, they decided to have other ways of marketing. I saw some users for example in the coinmarketcap community forum sharing posts containing their logo, which I am very sure they are not doing for free and it makes sense

Customer/revenue wise, I believe they are doing just fine.
527  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 14, 2023, 10:11:24 PM
I will give you other Ronaldo as other example. I am from old era, so I better know this Ronaldo.
Old Era Ronaldo wasn't so fit towards the end of his career at Real Madrid, for example. I remember he would get criticised at Real Madrid for being overweight and had poor form at times. That was between 2005 and 2007 if I recall well.

Even if you have a very good skill, if you don't have good body physique and not fit enough, it will affect the way you play especially at top level and end up warming the bench. Look at what happened to Hazard.

Really? He used to score 50-60 goals per season. Not its only around 20 (in Saudi Pro League...)
Maybe you have not been following well. He totalled 50 goals in 2023 a few days back, doesn't seem bad to me for a 38-year-old, does it? Obviously, if you are going to base on the past tallies of goals, then you have to include other competitions too.

I think the club also matters. Manchester United really treated him so badly on his return, but you could see he saved their asses so many times.
528  Other / Meta / Re: [proposal] Update Profile > Social Networks ICQ/AIM/MSN/YIM on: December 14, 2023, 09:35:01 PM
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like your proposal is going to be part of the many social network proposals that have been made in the past and have been totally ignored.

1. Add a Telegram contact method.
2. Can the mod add GetGems Messenger to Forum Profile Information?
3. Profile information
4. The profile page should be changed. No one uses ICQ, AIM, MSN or YIM.]
5. Adding Telegram on the profile page
6. Suggestion to change the obsolete social media from account info
7. Why do we still have options for MSN, YIM etc?

Honestly, as the oldest major crypto forum where there's always buzz about the future of money and all these web 3.0's, changing with the times seems to be something hard here, not even 2FA has been considered. I don't know what we are waiting for in order for all these changes to roll out. New forum software?
529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 10-Dec-23] on: December 14, 2023, 12:37:15 AM
[INVITE-ONLY] l0tt0.com - Signature Campaign | Sr. Members+ | Up to $150 weekly has been paused, according to the campaign manager. Not sure if the participants have to remove the signatures or the campaign will resume after some few days.

But here is what he said
The signature campaign is being paused for the time being.
530  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What if ATH - ATH Portfolio Calculator on: December 13, 2023, 11:59:07 PM
You could add the current value of the holdings at the current prices for better comparison with the all-time high value, though I am not sure what this tool aims to achieve since all-time highs of different coins happen on different days, months or weeks. Other coins never ever achieve an all-time high again
How about percentage of current value from all-time high value, this could be based on individual assets?
531  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can you recommend a web wallet other than blockchain.info? No KYC on: December 13, 2023, 11:39:01 PM
Perhaps try coin.space?

Though I wonder why a web wallet?
Since it's just choice, then why not choose something noncustodial and open source. coin.space has both of these features. It also has software versions of the wallet and it's supports multiple cryptocurrencies.

1xbet? I dunno. They have a lot of money and resources which is why they could have sponsored someone as big as Messi to be honest. They are a shady organization who continue to thrive in the gambling world.
That scam organization is just everywhere. At one point they even had a partnership with Barcelona and you would see the digital display banners advertising them.
I also saw them having a partnership of sorts with Seria A. I am not sure if the partnership is still on. They did try to get to the Premier League too but failed. They have also sorts of money to an extent that they can even blind such reputable brands.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com (e)Sportbook and Casino: Millions of bonus monthly on: December 13, 2023, 11:15:44 PM
I wonder where do they promote their project today because their competitors, Stake.com, FortuneJack, Crypto.games and others still stay on this forum till this day, continue promotion and are very active in their ANN threads.
I have seen this happen with other old casinos too, like cloudbet, bustadice etc. Maybe the promoting in the forum at some point reaches its peak or plateau and no long brings them that many customers like it would do when the platform just launched in the forum, so they decide to look elsewhere

Sometimes it also has something to do with the founders not having enough time and having other side projects they are working on.
534  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 13, 2023, 10:58:19 PM
I think crypto casinos are going to be banned next or paid signatures all together. This is a soft but progressive ban.
Unless there's no huge changes in the gambling space like rampant/peak money laundering, another shitty level of KYC requirements needed. I guess it's good to say it won't happen anytime soon.
Think about this.

Online gambling, especially "unregulated" crypto casinos, are banned in so many jurisdictions already. All that needs to happen is Law enforcement turning on the heat on crypto casinos like they have done with exchanges and crypto mixers, and you will see how fast things happen here in the forum.

DDoS services along with signature campaigns and ANNs were banned in a snap a few days back.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: December 13, 2023, 10:27:09 PM
Did anyone placed big stakes gamble on Antwerp to win today? Smiley
A couple of folks did, and they really climbed up the leaderboard. They were Pulsar77 and CLS63.

The win by Royal Antwerp was for their fans and sweet revenge for the match day thrashing by Barça. I never thought about it from that angle since Barcelona had already qualified and have had inconsistent performances lately.

I failed to grab those 3.5 odds somewhere in the 85th minute for over 3.5 goals when the match was still 2:1 in favor of Royal Antwerp  Grin
536  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: December 13, 2023, 09:51:00 PM
What about

Cashapp
Applepay
zelle
venmo
chase qp
If you are actively using the services, then you should be aware if the payments are reversible or not. Read the FAQs and Terms of service, but I am pretty sure some of them have a provision for reversible transfer or freezing of funds.
537  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ex7.io: Innovative Exchange Platform for Anonymous Cryptocurrency Transactions on: December 12, 2023, 01:55:31 PM
Not the right board to advertise your exchange. Service Announcements is more suitable. Please move the topic there

Now you claim your exchange is a platform for anonymous crypto transactions. You promise that the users will complete have to forget about KYC and AML when using your platform, but this is far from the truth simply because you have this policy → AML/CTF and KYC Policy

Your kind of business is entirely based on trust and honesty, so why would you have to lie?
538  Economy / Services / Re: Casual Crypto Gamblers Needed! on: December 12, 2023, 12:58:52 PM
I have a feeling OP is setting up a scam. If his offer was genuine, there would be no need to contact him on telegram. My mind goes to the Promo Code scam. Once you contact OP, he direct you to different gambling sites he created and give you a promo code that allegedly gives you some bitcoins to test the site. Those Bitcoins are not real. Now when you try to withdraw, that's when they will ask you to verify/activate the account by sending more Bitcoins. You send the Bitcoins, you get scammed.

So OP has probably come here to collect more of his victims.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 12, 2023, 12:05:11 AM
Never, no way! Wink This is not an option for Real Madrid to leave it as it is with Mbappe. I remember how often it was Mbappe who scored goals against Real Madrid. In all of the last three matches the encounters were very close and each time it was Mbappe who contributed a goal. And it wasn't just about the goals scored, but about how dangerous he was during the whole games. It would be reckless by Real Madrid to not sign him when they get the chance to do so.
You never know, they could already be satisfied with their current forwards. Besides, the wonder kid Endrick will be joining Real Madrid in July next year. I have seen the kid play, he's superb and has more room for improvement with his right foot if he keeps up with how he plays. He is the type of Centre Forward Real Madrid would need in the near future.

Mbappé fucked up when he had the chance, and if he fails to join his childhood dream club this time round, he will only have himself to blame.
540  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JustBit.io scamming again so much for No KYC for Crypto on: December 11, 2023, 10:25:01 PM
Me too, but the crypto community doesn't want that. I made a poll somewhere in the gambling section. The results showed that people don't want to do KYC immediately after registration and prefer doing it only if they are asked later. These are the results of that.
Almost all of us here hate KYC but if a platform must apply it then it should be done right as soon as one signs up just like most centralized exchanges do. Some casinos are using KYC verification to their advantage. Lose all the bets, and they won't care if the Bitcoins are dirty or not  Grin, win one bet and try to withdraw then all of a sudden, they need to know who you are and where the money comes from.

Maybe most of the community members were/are ignorant about what's going on.

You are not going to get your winnings. That would then defeat the purpose of their KYC request. They freeze your funds so that you have to undergo KYC, not turn them down and still get paid.
It doesn't defeat the purpose of KYC. What defeats the purpose of the KYC or AML policies is not enforcing it from the very beginning before a user deposits anything. By denying the client winnings, the casinos are giving themselves a bit of an advantage and to me, it's not right.  If the same client lost, they wouldn't care.
