Many new altcoins will die in the future because there won't be many investors investing money on them and as we know it we have many scammers here who will keep creating useless tokens and coins, if you are a developer and you think you are serious enough then try as hard as possible to come out with something new and different, enough of repetitive projects and same old ideas
Bring in something NEW or don't bother at all
What baffles me nowadays is the fact that most projects now see it as a normal thing to steal others ideas and even plagiarise their whitepaper and when caught they look for an excuse to cover it up and make it look like nothing. It's sad but this is the type of projects we have nowadays, only few upcoming projects are unique in their own ways others are always found wanting. Also, you have said it all but the question is, will there be a change, when it is now rampant? There might not be a change thus the reason to be weary of every project with such questionable nature, because for sure the team are only after the funds. |

There are many reliable crypto mobile wallets and the ones I might find to be user friendly another person might not concur to it and that's what makes all of them unique. However, to recommend I would start with Trust wallet because in addition to being user-friendly it has advanced features as well such as easy swapping and exchange of tokens (such as those on Binance chain). Also, with Trust wallet there is no need for having a separate wallet for other major coins like Bitcoin because trust wallet also supports Bitcoin, XLM, Tron and so on. Another crypto mobile wallet I can recommend is Atomic wallet, it is also user friendly, while others are Enjin and Imtoken wallets; they are all user friendly too but for me, I prefer Trust wallet even the more and even over them. |

This has now opened the eyes of everyone to the type of control in centralized stablecoins and as such will make everyone to be very careful of stablecoins and if not for unfavorable markets and/or volatility they can easily be abandoned. Also, this shows why it is not advisable holding stablecoins for a long time because anything can happen and the owner will be left stranded. Furthermore, I think it is now time for decentralized stablecoins to starting taking the lead because taking unnecessary risks with centralized stablecoins is not worth it. Lastly, we have now seen the importance of decentralization because, for a decentralized coin like Bitcoin such things cannot happen.

There are many unpredictable things in this space which is also one of the reasons I hardly believe in what most people says. A coin you might have high hopes on to perform well might end up doing a different thing altogether while those you might not even bet on would take you by surprise. As for Doge coin heading to $1 I can't say yes because it has experienced a lot of unfavorable growth when compared to its ATH and also taking a look at its current price one can hardly think $1 will be achieved. Yes Tiktok have a hand in the increase in price but yet in my own opinion, it is far from achieving that feat; however who knows, anything can happen might not be now but when no one expects, which of course is the nature of the crypto space, unpredictability.

It is true that Defi is gaining the attention of all and sundry but even at that, one needs to be careful because overtime, it has been seen that when hype takes the lead, it opens ways for fraudsters to leverage on it to create their own projects thus carrying out their agenda. So what I am saying in essence is, no matter the hype and so on, let's not loose guard, due diligence should be embraced so that the best decisions can be made. ICO had their good times, IEO had their good times and now it is Defi, sooner than later another will come out to take over from it.

All these points are true and sadly these projects will always tend to continue with their scamming activities because it seems there are people who invest in whatever they see because if that's not the case I think exchanges like P2PB2B would have gone down. Another point I want to add is that, the team will always avoid technical questions which will likely expose their lack of knowledge of the project they are building. Furthermore, just like you indicated, they type of exchange these projects host their IEO is also a good way of knowing how serious the team are because no good team will build a project and allow an exchange ruin it for them.

Tether getting bigger every day but it doesnt mean you can trust them.
Im not gonna say tether developers are scammer but tether could be fall very hard by Central bank mafia, Money Landing is a good Excuse for Central Bank to freeze tether money account.
I agree that Central Bank mafia can play around ones money account which might even drastically bring Tether down and so on but currently, which stablecoin can we trust? This is the big question begging for answers when having in mind that all stablecoins are the same, that is, have no utility other than using to fix funds from decreasing in price, mostly backed by a centralized entity and so on. My only opinion is, do not hold any stablecoin for long term and if one wants to hold Tether, I do not actually see it going down immediately as there will probably be warnings owing to how huge it has grown. |

Just like stated, if it comes to fruition; thus for now we can only but wait and anticipate. But on a more serious note, this is good coming from a platform like PayPal and if it finally happens I think others will be moved to take desired steps into getting involved and tapping into the potentials of the crypto space. To be frank, anytime I come across news like this, I pause and ponder all that were ever said about the crypto space and the current status now, therefore showing that the crypto space has come to stay and it is only a matter of time for platforms just like PayPal to get involved hence increasing their chances of more growth and success while getting ready for the future.

I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.
Actually you made valid points, but I was just thinking what an exchange token utility will be outside the exchange, that means they will have a huge competition to face because there are tokens already trying to pitch their tents in various sectors and industries. Also, about an exchange shutting down, that is quite true as well because many exchanges has shut down due to hack and so on but however since till date no exchange token has been used outside the exchange (none I can remember), then it makes sense to only hold top exchanges token because they have their reputation to protect and will surely try everything possible to keep their exchange running, thus good for holders as well, and should there be a change in token utility then holders will also benefit from it. |

The fomo was too much I think, as the price increase was massive within a short period of time all thanks to DeFi, but now just like other projects which also had this type of growth and later readjusted, COMP is now experiencing same. Therefore it can be seen that, no matter the hype behind a project, it will surely get to a time where all will be clear hence one should be careful of fomo as some price attained by some projects might not be reached again throughout the life cycle of that project. I am not saying this will be the fate of COMP, as it is a good project and might later surge in price again but rather I am only saying this from what I have seen in other projects.
Lastly, about collapse, all I can say is, good projects do not collapse.

I just read what it is. Coinbase and some other companies (i think) created it. Instead of sending them to your bank account you can buy them. The value of 1 USDC must be 1$ and it is. Almost. Although I don't think it should be 1$. Who forces me to believe that? Mr Trump?

Since it is owned by Coinbase and some other companies, then it is centralized just as USDT wherein the only difference might be in the number of users and volume as as well. Also, I do not see any major thing that makes any stablecoin better than others because they all serve the same purpose which is to hedge funds during unfavourable (or bear) market and since most if not all are centralized they are still subject to certain controls by the owners or creators. Therefore, my own mindset is, not to hold any stablecoin for long. |

Are there any good ICO's left? or is the market flooded with bullshit coins?
To answer the first question, I don't think anyone can pinpoint a good ICO because once that generated funds is within the care of the team they will likely have unfriendly ideas, therefore in essence, the only way I think one can avoid ICO scams is by forgetting about them entirely. For the second question, I have not heard nor come across any ICO for a long time now, hence that shows there is none left. But however, some of the new projects carrying out IEO tends to be bullshit projects because looking at them, there is nothing good that can be seen within them. |
