521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: August 14, 2023, 03:39:09 PM
Binance is investing $10 Million in to a Destablecoin called Helio Protocol. https://helio.money/
This money will be going towards making liquid staking more available on the protocol. Liquid staking means you stake tokens on a network, and then get another token that represents the same staked position.
https://www.cryptopolitan.com/binance-lab-invest-10-million-helio-protocol/
Binance keeps on investing into these projects that they like.

$10M ain't that much for a starter but it's already a good start and from there, we'll see if it's going to grow with them or they've just wasted that capital they've put on that project.

Well, I just wish that they won't go bankrupt by doing this strategy of investing their funds to a lot of projects. There's a standard for their choice for sure but I hope that they won't go wrong.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: August 13, 2023, 11:01:34 PM
Investing in the big coins much more safer but it doesn't guarantee your money will be safe. Remember this.
This is also my principle after investing in the failed altcoin investments of mine.

It's safer and more peace of mind because they won't just dump too quickly. Though the tendency is always there, let's just say that the chance is lesser.

So, it's about security and profitability when both of them can be present to a project then you have to choose that.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: August 13, 2023, 10:12:37 PM
ETH can be considered the king of altcoins for sure. Not because it has a lot of fan base, But it's survived in the long run and also shows significant improvements.
Its survival did really made it one of the top altcoins. And being the top altcoin doesn't mean easy for the market but it means that it had gone a lot of trials and tests.

From there, that's how it has gained a lot of fans or let's say the investors that have trusted it and until now, still the 2nd top net worth or in market capitalization is something else and should be recognized.
524  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hal Finney's Last Post on Bitcointalk on: August 13, 2023, 04:44:05 PM
If Hal isn't satoshi, at least he's the closest one that we can think of. But one thing for sure that we can recognize him of is that he's dedicated to what he has worked for together with satoshi or himself.

And IIRC, he's able to give the bitcoins he's holding to his family and they deserve that and hopefully they're able to hold til' now or sold at good prices.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with Quantum Computing and AI on: August 12, 2023, 04:24:26 AM
What do you guys think of ApexOne AI? They claim to use quantum computing to conduct trades on several crypto exchanges and predict market trends with AI and Terabytes of Data.

They seem very legitimate to me.

Checkout their marketing materials on their YouTube page HERE
It looks legitimate to you because you're the one who opened it up. But honestly, this "quantum" wording that's being attached to projects is being used like buzz words these days.

Most investors don't really care if it's all about quantum computing, AI or what. As long as they just see the words even without furtherly knowing if they're for real or what, it doesn't matter.

Get to try it if you're legitimately not connected to them and let us know your experience.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What factors contributed to the absence of price change after the Litecoin halvi on: August 12, 2023, 02:28:17 AM
Why didn't the Litecoin halving affect the price this time?
Not just this time but also in the past halvings. I've been telling that.

In the past, halvings led to higher prices, but now there are no clear results. I'm puzzled about the reasons behind this. Please help me analyze.
It's mostly for Bitcoin but not typically for the altcoins. Don't be surprised because it's just the community that making Litecoin alive and working. Main guy Charlie Lee has left it long time ago.

Don't expect that there are much effects with the halvings for altcoins.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: August 12, 2023, 01:24:52 AM
From your trusted altcoins list, Ether and binance coin suppose to be legit and deserve accumulating for long term. Rest of 3 aren’t bad but those will always have long term trust issue among people. But it is always better to invest Layer-1 altcoins than Layer-2. Well i also listed some altcoins that considered trusted to me. I'm mentioning those below
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Cardano
4. Polygon
5. Litecoin
That first two are actually good.

I used to like Litecoin but not anymore as an investment but using it for transfers is always a choice of mine and that's why I still trust it in terms of transactions.

The same goes for ADA and Matic, when alternate transfers are needed that's when these two are also being used by me.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as good store for value on: August 11, 2023, 08:07:32 PM
A lot of people only think of how they can make money from bitcoin to become rich and this is all they can think about bitcoin.   Bitcoin can be as a store of value for all assets,  making every properties to remain valuable. Bitcoin is a digital property that can be bought without any other expenses attached to it unlike some physical properties expecially Real Estate that has other much expenses that is needed to be spent first before getting the main property, if one should consider to convert this property into another form it will take more expenses for it to get done.
Differentiating real estate and Bitcoin as investments are way off IMHO. Both are good investments, you don't need maintenance to maintain the Bitcoins that you're holding.

Unlike in real estate, you have to and it's physically present.

Bitcoin is a store of value,  it can converted from one currency to another without losing any value.  Their are other physical form in which people can consider to be a better way to store their assets,  but getting it done it can take expenses that will make the asset lose value. The potential to make good gain out of an asset without losing its initial value proves the worth of the asset and this is exactly what bitcoin is as a good store of value .
One of the other physical form as a store of value is gold but, if I have to choose then definitely and without a doubt I'll go ahead to choose Bitcoin. No doubt that it is the best store value that I currently have.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is centralized, will it still have value ? on: August 10, 2023, 11:59:06 PM
I'll just take this simply.

With all of those tokens, altcoins and projects that are centralized, they do even have a value and market capitalization. So, if Bitcoin was centralized and made like that in the first place, it could still have value but we will never know on how long it will survive.

Just as those centralized projects that we're seeing come by to the market and then eventually will be gone. Some may probably have survived but it all ends up to unknown situations on what actually will happen into these questions of scenarios.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto investment analysis: Crypto market capital will reach $3 trillion by 2025 on: August 10, 2023, 11:16:33 PM
There is only one way where the market is going and that's to go up. This is entirely for the market and it will increase in market cap for sure. It could be the amount that you've mentioned or even more or less.

But this doesn't talk about the specific altcoins on which are going to be pumping during that year.

If it's just all about talking that the market capitalization will increase for the next year or two, that's really possible.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: August 09, 2023, 11:19:43 PM
I think it depends on your Outlook. bitcoin will be the most secure investment for you and i guess, It'll pump 3x when next bull run come. So you can hold it. Besides ether is also good altcoin for long term hold. This coin can also give you a lot if you hold. Others top altcoins bnb, xrp, ada etc are good but i always saw many problem happened with those. Like sec problem, hackers dump the coins anyhow and so on. Now choice wisely.
You're right with the other altcoins that have made their own problems. And the investors that have been holding those like in sol, they don't want to take notice of that.

But this is a market that has a variety of choices and that's why to each their own is the plan for each individual.

We all have got choices and make your choice as the best that you can on this market when we're in the bull run soon.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a frequent end of year package, a window to buy Bitcoin or Not? on: August 09, 2023, 05:34:49 PM
There is a cycle on these periods and that's what you need to know about, the four year cycle. It's proven to be like that and likely to happen again starting next year and so on.

As the market is unpredictable, so these events in between the cycle are likely to happen again. As I've said that it will happen by next year which is the halving of Bitcoin will happen.

And from there, you'll see how the market reacts until the bull run is in.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 09, 2023, 04:21:08 PM
Although current crypto market situation is very disappointing. Investors also showing less interested investing in new coins even most of new coins are also shitcoins. Altcoins crypto market pumped a little, a month ago but still no impressive movement is found. Wel  During this situation, what are you thinking and how you preparing for next bull run?
No need to be pressured and not that much preparation, just hold and don't panic that's the preparation that I am doing.

Which Altcoins you are planning to be hold untill next bull run?
I only have few altcoins that I am holding right now.

~ ETH
~ BNB

I'm still thinking if I'll gamble with those coins that have been hype lately.
534  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the market still profitable for new projects? on: August 08, 2023, 11:55:56 PM
Given the crowding of the market with hundreds of new projects and the emergence of new services or companies every day, I think that the number of investors or users of these services does not correspond to this large increase.

So my question is: is this market still profitable for new projects?
It's like hit or miss for the majority of them.

You'll never know if the newest projects are going to hit the crowd and will make it to the market. Some might go into a jackpot but even the considered good ones can't make it.

So, it's almost rare to see new projects able to make it to the market and make a decent profit from it. Because I still see a few of them manage to make it.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Tokens Forge a New Era of Crypto Champions? on: August 08, 2023, 10:59:15 PM
I've been a fan of memes, but I never imagined a world where meme tokens team up like superheroes until I came across 'MemeVengers' on my TL. It's a concept where famous meme tokens like DOGE, SHIBA, and other memes come together under one banner with the goal of giving each token unique traits and powers, making them heroes in the crypto world.

If you're a meme lover like myself, what do you think about this concept where memes collide in the most epic way?
That concept sounds good for meme lovers. But for someone who's not into it, that's another cycle that these meme coins are still gonna get some attention.

It's best to just see them have their ending and lessened their population in the market. I don't think that we'll see a collaboration of these meme coins and will merge into one.

Because if there's a meme coin that everybody likes, that's Dogecoin.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB ? on: August 08, 2023, 09:58:17 PM
What is happening with BNB? Is that the same story like Ethereum? Will that be the next bullish altcoin with skyrocket line. What future do you predict?
And please recommend now next potencial altcoin to buy?
What have you noticed with BNB that makes you ask that? I don't see any significant changes that should make you worry by holding it. And if we're talking about bullishness.

It's likely that when the bull run comes, this is also going to be bullish so if you're looking for any potential altcoin to buy now. You make your own DYOR based on yourself and not with other's thought and analysis.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I see it, I feel it, I know it and it will live forever. on: August 07, 2023, 09:36:41 PM
I was sharing my testimony with some of my neighbors last two weeks, that thought BTC will not cross 14 years before it will disappear like other cryptocurrencies and it has crossed 14 years and some months now. BTC be the first cryptocurrency I have started my journey with in the community, it has helped me to seen wonders around me, feel greatness around my believe and it will live forever to fulfill purpose in the world. I received text message from my neighbors this morning, that they have seen many reasons why BTC will live forever and they want to be part of the decentralized currency in this period since they have some huge amount of money they are not using now than to invest them in BTC till it will cross to 20 year old before they can sell to share their own testimony. I believe many people here also have testimony to share about their BTC journey and how people try to discourage them but they still go ahead to embrace BTC. For what you have seen so far in BTC, do you think it will live forever? and if it live forever will you be part of those who will love to share the good news to people? You opinion is highly welcome.
All of us here have their own story, good and bad with BTC. And one thing that we're sure is that it's here to stay, I won't say forever but who knows if how long is that forever.

We're all having the time to share it with others but some experiences didn't played well and that's why if there are people that are no longer sharing about a thing or two about Bitcoin. Then, that's because they've got a bad experience sharing it.

538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive income with crypto on: August 07, 2023, 08:18:24 PM
    • Gambling; or
    • Investment
Bankroll investments are still somehow good.

But you need to be long term on them because making a profit on a very short period of time is unlikely. The passive income is there but you need to be the most patient person.

It's risky though as you go with the house and whatever happens to the house, the same goes for you. If you're going to think of it, in the end, the house always wins.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another red day on: August 07, 2023, 07:17:24 PM
Just as the typical market day.

We get to see this as a normal day of the market and Bitcoin stays at $29k and there's no movement at all. This is like, it's either no movement at all or we get to see some bloodbaths from the alts market.

Anyway, nothing surprising at this moment as there's not that much news except those typical meme and ai coins being marketed by different exchanges.
I miss the days when Bitcoin is on sideways, we see altcoins are pumping.
For me, this is just a sign that we are still not in a bull market.

It's gonna be a long sideways for the entire market for me, but bloody for small-cap altcoins. Sideways Bitcoin for me is good for my bags as I hold Bitcoin and high market cap altcoins.
Yeah, bull run isn't yet there.

It takes time until we see all of those signs that we're already in the bull run. For now, it's gonna be waiting time if you're waiting for some specific altcoins to be up.

And that's like a sign before a bull run that happens for bitcoin, while we're waiting for that. We need to be patient or you pick what you wanna get at this point.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: August 06, 2023, 05:01:34 PM
I've been watching videos of struggles coming from students, to professionals and the elderly. And heck, no one can really skip on this one except those that are ultra rich.

Even the middle class are feeling the effect of inflation, everywhere, there's economic problem and even the rich countries. We're totally at the survival of the fittest on this era.
At first I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I mean, it's nothing out of the ordinary for prices and market to experience a rise. However, when I went out and do my monthly grocery shopping that is when I personally felt just how bad the current inflation is. Prices did not only doubled but tripled and even times four of their previous price. My monthly grocery which ensures I have more than enough food to last for a month has reduced to food for 2 weeks.
    Me either.

I thought that it shouldn't be a problem since we're all just gonna earn our money and then we'll buy those supplies. But no way, it becomes heavier as the prices of the commodities kept on increasing while it takes forever for the salaries to have an increase.

I do groceries weekly and before I can take anything that I wanna eat but sadly, it has come to being limited and even sacrifice the snacks that makes me happy to eat as I don't get those anymore.
