521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Country To Live In For Crypto Casinos?# on: November 25, 2023, 09:49:14 PM
Hi all!

Ive noticed recently that more and more crypto sites are requesting KYC, and more and more restricted jurisdictions are being added to said sites Ts and Cs. This is a problem for a lot of people on this forum who like to gamble anonymously, and, perhaps use sites that are "blocked" in their home countries.

My question then is, which are the best countries that can access these sites without issues, and pass all KYC checks? I'd love to hear your opinions!
It's been an issue that many can't stop arguing because it's true that we're taking care of our anonymity while the most of the casinos these days are asking for the KYC of their players.

Take it as if a normal process these days because even if they want to let their players play without having the need to KYC, it is the government that pushes them to do so for AML purposes.

Each casino has their jurisdiction and areas where they're not allowed to accept players, so it varies and just check the countries they're good with and not.
522  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Frozen withdrawals at AutoHashMining.com on: November 25, 2023, 11:07:36 AM
All of those commissions and bounties percentage promising per day profit is already a red flag, they're all too good to be true.

So there is literally no known instance in the bitcointalk.org fossil record of a legit cloud mining service?
Most of those that have been said as "legit" in the past have also turned around and became the same to this company that disabled your withdrawal.

Do you know of any legit ones at all?
Buy your own asic miner and mine for real or simply follow what rikfip has said of buying your own Bitcoin and simply hold it.
523  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nominee related services in bitcoin on: November 25, 2023, 09:15:43 AM
That's a good feature if you think that you can make use of it then declare your nominees if ever something unfortunate happens to you. Or if you are foreseeing your passing soon then you can literally make use of that option.

And for the other international exchanges, Upgrade00 is right. You can simply contact the exchange about the passing of the owner just like what's said on Binance article about someone's death and his cryptos on exchanges.

[...] the executor of the will should contact the exchanges to inform them of the death and provide all relevant information and documents. The right way to do this is usually set out in Terms of Service of the exchange. This step usually requires proof of death, such as a death certificate and proof that you have the authority to deal with the crypto assets of the deceased account holder. For example, the executor of the will can provide a copy of the will or court authority. [...]
524  Economy / Economics / Re: There is possibility of great reset and bail out by crypto holders on: November 24, 2023, 07:13:16 PM
Crypto owners might save the world in return they get the assets like real estate.
I am sure that there were many of us that have already sold their cryptos to buy real estate assets. And that's part of the diversification that they're doing and to reward themselves as well as shelter is one basic necessity.

Let's not go into that extreme but something about NFT could be the plan of goverment why else they created blockchain then off course when the time is right they make moves.
They're too late on the game if they're looking forward to get along with NFTs. What they're up to this time is about the CBDCs and also the possible approval of the Bitcoin ETFs and ETH ETF.

That's what they're trying to get busy nowadays and we're likely done with the reset and that happened during the covid-19 pandemic.

For reference, OP is talking about this incident: Microsoft Listing Fake Ledger App Leads to $590K of Bitcoin Stolen by Hackers

Now I'm really scared because most of my crypto apps were downloaded from Google play store. All my wallets including Electrum and Bluewallet and even some exchanges applications were downloaded there. Recently,  I downloaded Uniswap wallet there as well. If scammers can infitrate Google Playstore, the damage will be huge.

What then is your suggestion on safe way to download apps?
You are only going to be scared if you're the type of guy that downloads randomly from unofficial websites of the wallets that you use. Google Playstore, Microsoft store and even the Apple app store can be used by these scammers/hackers.

That's why as someone who uses the wallets that we trust, you need to download it directly from their official website than trusting these applications stores.
526  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 FlukyOne.com | The Ulimitate Online Casino Experience on: November 24, 2023, 12:09:15 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk, flukyone!

Honestly, the welcoming or landing page you have don't need to have a lot of words. Few to no gambler would like to read them before depositing. What's best is to just get straight to the point and the games that you're boasting.

Your casino isn't so bad at all but I guess that you've got the same provider as the others because the design feels like that I've seen it before. And hopefully, you're not the same as the other thread starters of their casinos that just posts and never get to reply to the people here.
actually it is annoying having those lot of words when they only tell how good their company is.
Yes and that's why some are copying what others do. But on this case, it seems that OP is taking time and he had replied to one post of jawhead and that's a good sign.

Aside from that, he has purchased a copper membership and I think from there I can say that they're taking their time and are going to load their images and designs soon on this thread.

And after that, they're going to reply to the meaningful thoughts of the community and that's not going to make them the same as the others that don't reply to queries.
527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone just paid 83BTC for transaction fee, on: November 23, 2023, 01:17:39 PM
That's $3M+ if valued in dollars and someone to make this mistake? Yeah, it's suspicious that the person who did it likely did it as honest mistake.

It might be also a part of  money laundering scheme.
Very possible.

We have seen this not just once but for the other transactions that have set a high fee mistake wasn't in Bitcoin. Let's see if Antpool is going to say something about this.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance reaches deal to pay $4.3B settlement to American regulators on: November 23, 2023, 09:13:52 AM
I guess that $4B settles everything and CZ won't be ending up behind the bars. Although we're not defending him as he admitted that he committed that he's part of the money laundering based on what I've read about this case.

While SBF, clearly spent and used people's fund and that's why he's convicted.

Well, saying that nobody was expecting that is a bit wrong. There was a lot of FUD around Binance and CZ. People suggested that they don't have all BTC that they claim to have, and were suspecting some other shady stuff. I'm not saying that it's true, but there were some suspicions that's for sure.
It's always like that for most projects that they end up being criticized for not having the actual back up for the amount that they're projecting to people.

530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you Trust Bitcoin ? on: November 22, 2023, 11:53:40 PM
To what extent do you believe in the long-term viability and stability of Bitcoin as a leading cryptocurrency, considering the impact of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its perceived value, adoption, and regulatory landscape? How do you perceive the potential influence of DeFi and NFTs on the trustworthiness and growth potential of Bitcoin, and how does this factor into your overall level of trust in the digital asset ?
To make it simple from 0 to 100  how much do u trust on Bitcoin ?
100.

It's funny that we're still comparing Bitcoin with these projects that are into DeFis and NFTs. Have you noticed that most of the projects that are on these sectors have already been dead?

While Bitcoin, it stands firmly and still gaining the price back closer to the former ATH and could be more than the past ATH when we achieve the bull run?

You are romanticizing what's with DeFis and NFTs where in fact that many projects there have already lost the interest of the community.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 22, 2023, 08:34:32 PM
I can't believe with those examples that you've given but about the dreams, I remember Joseph the Dreamer in the bible where he helped the king on what's about to come to them.

I guess if you're into religion and you believe in dreams, there's also a chance that it can happen with gambling and predict the lottery winning numbers or even sports betting. Who knows? We've got playful minds.

But with this octopus, I have never heard of it and that's a real crazy and unbelievable story.
532  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What are the chances of Binance shutting down now? on: November 22, 2023, 06:34:30 PM
Binance has been fined with about $4 billion. What is more concerning that their image is hampered now and trust of investors is gone who will stay away from the platform. Can this result in Binance getting shut down anytime soon?
Possible but do they have the proof of reserve as what they have tried to campaign before?

If the revenue is still above the fine that they've paid, I guess that it's still fine on their end to pay it and then continue to rake revenues in billions again.

Aside from the revenue, the reserve fund that they have I guess is one thing that they have been boasting for so long. But as a user and someone who's aware of exchanges can fall anytime, you don't keep your funds saved there.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am the creator of Bitcoin on: November 21, 2023, 07:13:11 AM
If you guys read the latter, if my understanding is correct. He just wants to share the story of Bitcoin and how Satoshi Nakamoto made it.

Of course we are all aware that Satoshi won't come back anymore and whoever claims to be this time are imposters and cons.

But honestly guys, if Satoshi ever comes back alive and tell the same things that he is the one. It is very easy for him/her to prove it alone. The creator of Bitcoin is too intelligent to unnotice.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 21, 2023, 04:49:22 AM
Any amount that is given is a sign of happiness from the winner. It is true that if one wins with such huge amounts, he is in no obligation of giving a certain amount from his winnings.

Well, it is about being ungrateful or they prefer some certain amounts that should be given to them. If that happens to me and I am a receiver and out of nowhere I will receive from the winner's money as a giveaway, I'd be happy to accept that.

And if I am a winner and I have given someone and isn't grateful, that will be the last time I will give a gift to him.
535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful Links for Beginners ! on: November 21, 2023, 12:48:27 AM
Being a beginner on this forum, read first the forum rules so you know what you must follow and avoided. The links have already been given to you.

Aside from that, you are on this section and check the threads that are on the stickies. They are helpful to someone who is starting out here.

Also, be careful with links that you click. Hover it first to the link if it shows the real link through its appearance on the left/right bottom of your browser before clicking. Because someone might trick you with seems to be legitimate link but is modified through link editors or shortcut  links.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: November 20, 2023, 12:40:14 PM
For other gamblers, gambling via an online casino is a stress reliever. And that does not mean that they intend to become addicted to gambling, in short, over time. Maybe the problem he is going through is so heavy that they think of taking a break first by gambling in an online casino.
Yes, many gamblers are not addicted because all they look is to have fun and do something else for their favor to relieve some stress through it. While many of them follows what are their intended purposes as they gamble.

There can be some of them that can't survive the heat of gambling and becomes addicted eventually.

Actually, this online casino doesn't have any hassle if what they are looking for is to have fun for a while, while they are dealing with these problems. Instead of going to the physical casino, which can be a hassle, you know what Iwant to point out.
It is convenient and those that have been used to hang out in the physical casinos, if they're looking to only have fun then they've got the best option through online casinos.

It's true that it is less hassle and doesn't need to get out of home and free to gamble at the very comfort of their homes.
537  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Xi Jinping & Biden meetup on: November 20, 2023, 10:25:41 AM
~snip~
It is certainly a big hit on them and instead of staying China, they've chosen the neighboring ASEAN countries that have cheaper labors like Vietnam, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, etc. Those are like the choices of them and some have already got into those countries after leaving their manpower and outsourcing in China.

They have fled from China but it is mostly because political reasons, I think. Since politically China is an autocratic country which wants to force the will of the ruling party over all citizens. If the United States wanted to move their manufacturing industries, there would not be many options on the table for them to replace China, the only and immediate option would be India, which is an allied country of the USA.
Though, Unlike China the labor law and industrial Security in such country can be pretty bad.
Last time I read about slavery and child labor, India was a country where government has not been able to get rid of those social problems yet. It would better if the United States could manufacture their own products, but the price for the final consumer would dramatically increase if they do so.
Yeah, there's political reason on it and I think it all started with Tesla. Those countries that I have mentioned, they're likely the options of those US giant firms that have fled on them and more likely to be followed if both will not have a good economic relationship.

It's still a win win for both of them IMO. They've got most interest to every country and they just have to agree with whatever benefits that shall they gather if it's shown that they have both interest for a country that they're both eyeing on.

What I am thinking on this one is about maintaining peace for all regions that they're interested with. Get all of those economic benefits but they shouldn't startle another war.
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 08:20:44 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
We have been on the green days for how long now. Though we need more confirmations that the bear is actually over. It may be safe to assume now that it has ended if this green days will continue before the halving.

Because after the halving it is normal that we see the beginning of the bull run by that time. Just expect that it is always going to be a trend that is unpredictable.
539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Xi Jinping & Biden meetup on: November 19, 2023, 09:28:26 PM
What a coincidence because I was just browsing and saw this topic on some snippet post of this somewhere, I haven't had read the entire thing about this close door meetup that they have. But one common thing that I have read from most with this meeting is about Xi's word about China's readiness to become an economic partner of US.

It seems that Xi and its PRC declaring that US and other known countries should ally with them, they're like the one declaring that if you get along with them, you should do it now.

Well, Biden is unknown to stay in the White House until next year and let's see the development from this.

In order for China to continue to advance economically, it needs to continue to sell goods and services (specially goods) to the United States, that is one of the reasons China has managed to become the factory of the planet, because their manufacture industry is one of the biggest ones on the planet, they cannot even allow their currency to earn much value against the United States dollar, in order not to scare away investors who establish their factories in China. The more foreign factories are established there, the more jobs the Chinese people will have. On the other hand, because the consumerism which is typical of the North American culture, the United States capital will always try to find the cheapest source of workers for their brands, so the citizens of the United states can continue to buy and get themselves into debt for the sake of self-gratification.  It is a commercial relation which, if cut could mean massive loss of employment in China and increase of prices of all goods in the United States in the mid term.

For now they both need each other.
There is no doubt that both of them need each other. The huge and known companies that have been manufacturing their products in China have fled from China and that's a hit to their manufacturing industry.

It's true that China is one of the most known countries in terms of manufacturing and most products are assembled there. So that slashes to their economy if they will continue to act that they're against US and if US will also have the same impact if they continue to bark at each other.

While some countries that are close to China have better offer than them but it's still one of their best designation with cheap labor and manpower.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 19, 2023, 07:53:59 PM
I am hoping for that. As it seems to look that the most desired tournament now is going to be Riyadh Masters than the The International. It's possible that the growth in MENA is going to be quick.

There will be a huge growth for that region and some teams have started moving to that region. Team Falcons for example play on the MENA Qualifier for the ESL One currently despite only ATF that comes from that region. As for the tournaments though, if you compare it with football then its pretty much the same as local league and world cup

Players obviously earn more from their own respective league but to win a world cup is another accomplishment that all players want
Yeah and as they qualify, they're building this region as one of the best for sure. Whilst this region is going to be one of the interesting ones these days, thanks to the government that's fully supporting their moves.

Speaking of them, 1-1 now with Klim Sani4 against 9Pandas.
And they finally lost after another grueling series. So it'll be the mainstream teams once again in Eastern Europe. VP against 9 Pandas for the second slot.
Yeah, they lost to 9Pandas and what's good is that 9Pandas also beat Virtus.Pro and they have taken the 2nd slot for the EEU region. That's a good beating for them when the one that they've fallen apart was the one to qualify for the ESL KL.

The team in SA that qualifiers to ESL is kind of weird team name but I'm familiar with two players there, Darkmago and Pandaboo.
