521  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: May 28, 2021, 05:28:52 PM
Doesn't matter anymore if he is manipulating the market or not but in any way possible, let us all just disregard what he is doing and stop talking about it. His scheme is very obvious, he is just trying to break the balance of the market for his own sake. His tweets should not mean anything for us anymore neither his opinions when it comes to crypto. Bitcoin will soon recover from what he has done so let us just quit bothering about the things he is saying. Let us focus on our investment and keep on analyzing what is the next best thing to do considering the market's current condition.
522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To be honest about Investing on: May 28, 2021, 05:03:32 PM
Stocks crypto and all others are just the one way how to take your money.
Add there the fear of inflation and You get the perfect combination of greed and fear how 80% Will lose all.
If You are newbie Welcome to lose Money the news the fuds are designed perfect ways for You to lose Money.

Its just one way how to take your Money so that You Will Work More hours and cheaper salary for those who Got Money from You.

The profit does Not happens automaticly You need to Know what You are doing.

But all to say the whole point of the markets is to take your Money from You.

It is part of the process actually, you cannot expect that you'll get rich over night. You will need to experience loss first before you can savor the gain. There are a lot of impatient people who would often say and consider that crypto is just taking money from you when in fact, it is your ways on crypto that causes you to experience loss. If you are not going to learn and understand what you are doing, better not expect taking any profit instead consider yourself a charity for the market. Holding is never an easy thing to do so mad respect for those who really earned from holding and if you want to experience that too, learn to be patient instead of blaming the market for your own carelessness.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: May 28, 2021, 04:11:58 PM
We still cannot jump into conclusions and make statements like that considering the position of bitcoin at the moment. It may look good and it had a great price but still, there are a lot of things needed first before it can win the currency war. It is a decentralized currency so it will be difficult for many countries to tolerate the use of it. Many people might be boastful on bitcoin's position and they have all the reason to do so, but still we should know bitcoin limits for now, it may still change in the future actually.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: May 28, 2021, 03:46:12 PM
Just by considering the fact that not everyone knows about crypto nor the world's economy relies on it, we can already see that it wouldn't be the cause for another financial crisis. It is not even legal on many countries still and its value is not even stable due to high volatility so the world would definitely try and be dependent on it. There maybe a crisis in the crypto world at the moment but that does not mean real world will also experience the same thing. Let us know the use of bitcoin more so we wouldn't wonder anymore what it could affect and what it cannot.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptos scam, unpaid - protection for hunters. on: May 27, 2021, 04:37:08 PM
There were a lot of good bounty campaigns way back as well as scam campaigns. When choosing a certain campaign to join in, if is your sole responsibility as a bounty hunter to make sure that everyone in the team of the campaign you are joining are proven and tested to be worth working for. If ever you encounter one that is a scam due to your carelessness, unfortunately you cannot sue them as most of them are anonymous. So to avoid such instances, find those trusted moderaters or campaign managers and get a spot on their campaign specially if it looks like it will be successful soon.
526  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: May 27, 2021, 04:05:02 PM
It is very essential that everyone understand the bear market first before making an act on how he can be profitable during this phenomena. Some people would instantly think about buying during the dip without even considering other people's specualtion on how long will the deep ever go. Instead of gaining after holding, those who carelessly buy during dips losses more money in the making. Even though holding bitcoin is proven to be an effective way of making profit considering how it went on last time's bull run, you should still be careful on buying specially during a bear market.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everybody talking about digital currency like btc will replace fiat but question on: May 27, 2021, 03:34:06 PM
The fiat or the traditional currency won't easily be replaced by bitcoin or any coin at all. There would be a lot of adjustments for bitcoin and for the world before it can ever happen. Why can't we just be happy at how great bitcoin is doing compared to other currencies? In the future, maybe there is a possibility that massive growth of crypto users would take place but still it wouldn't be able to replace fiat. Also considering that the government holds how the world runs, since bitcoin or crypto is not yet recognized as a legal currency, there is really a very small chance of having it declared as the whole world's currency in the making.
528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My cryptocurrency experience on: May 26, 2021, 04:35:45 PM
The spreading of the news affects the influence of crypto with its investors massively. As they hear a news with regards to a probable downfall of a certain coin, they will right away make an act on how they can take advantage of that situation or find a way to avoid massive loss. Even though not all the news are legitimate, it is still somehow useful specially those that gives honest and genuine speculations which you can use as a guide on what you should do next. Still, be careful on what you are believing in, find more supporting details before agreeing.
529  Economy / Economics / Re: No new millionaires come from stock market in 2020/2021 on: May 26, 2021, 02:52:18 PM
Stock market is a different gamble compared to crypto market. One can be a millionaire within just a few months through great timing and proper holding in crypto while in the stock market, their fortune would rely on many people first before the stock rises. Considering the occurence of the pandemic, the stock market went down real hard ever since and many people took the opportunity to buy stocks while it is still low. If ever things get better for the world in the next few months or years, those who handled their stocks well can be millionaire easily in just a matter of short span of time.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tweeting Power gone on: May 26, 2021, 01:48:32 PM
Time will come when Elon Musk wouldn't even matter for crypto investors anymore. I've already seen it coming, the way he advertises dogecoin before would soon be out of the trend or people will soon lose interest on what he is saying for repeating the same way of advertisement each time. Dogecoin will take most of the consequences of this occurence since its foundation mostly relies on Elon Musk's tweets. If people would keep on turning a blind eye on Elon Musk's dark motives, he will just keep on playing with the market so I hope at one point, we start learning on what he is really doing in the market.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 26, 2021, 12:48:21 PM
Been in this space since 2016 so I experience the bull run of 2017.  To me it felt good enough back in early May and I was content that maybe we were at the top for this one.  Then I started watching some YouTube videos that made it seem like we were in for a few more corrections. This "made sense" and was buying the dip when it went below the 50 K range.  But it seems if I keep buying, I will be eating up more of my profits now than I want to spend.  There is a price point where the money one spends to buy the dip comes out of one's profits so much that one is no longer making as much money to make one's time worth it.

I learned that buying the dip on a site like coinbase isn't as good as setting limit orders because with them you can buy at a much lower point in the future and see if the market hits it or not.   If it doesn't then you can buy as needed.  If it does then you've saved a lot of money that dollar cost averaging would have cost you.

I bought in the 40K range and now it is in the 30K range.

I think you should stop buying whenever you run out of funds and you are clearly experiencing loss more than gains. Considering that you bought at the $40k range and the value is now going low at the moment, you have the freedom to keep on holding or buying if you trust that bitcoin will soon come back to $60k. Many people are confused on what they should do right now when in fact, we all know that all of these corrections are leading only to one path which is bitcoin getting more new all time highs. It may pay off or it may not cause its a risk ever since the beginning so decide wisely!
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: May 25, 2021, 04:23:47 PM
Can we live Without btc?
I think we Can so then we Don't need it.
For money Transactions btc its a Bad choise.
Stable coins are good for Transactions.

So btc is Pure speculation its Only the matter of Time When government Will ban Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not needed You Can breathe without btc and you Can live uour daily life without btc.

There is no reason that government Will let the btc to stay alive.

Tron Ethereum are different those blockchains government Will use it for stable coins.

But Bitcoin?  What for is it?
It depends per individual I think. If you consider money as something that keeps you alive and surviving and you somehow rely a lot on bitcoin, then you probably would have a hard time living without it. Some people consider money as life while others do not really pay attention to it. Bitcoin was never made to  keep people alive, instead it is made for people to have their financial freedom whilst independent on the government's grip. Bitcoin can be an effective way on how you can escape from poverty if ever you can outsmart it and it can also help you in securing your future financially.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 25, 2021, 11:20:26 AM
You cannot deny the fact that bitcoin is the most powerful cryptocurrency ever since. Imagine how long it was able to stabilize its position as the highest value in crypto at the markey. There are a lot of struggles and doubts it went through time in the market but look how far it still went. It made lots of achievements specially last year when it was able to break everyone's expectation. Even though bitcoin is at the top up until now, you should not disregard the existence of other altcoins. Try diversifying whilst prioritizing bitcoin.
534  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: May 25, 2021, 08:34:56 AM
Sharing another interesting infographic from visualcapitalist.com

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/bitcoin-is-the-fastest-asset-to-reach-a-1-trillion-market-cap/

as we can see from the data above, Microsoft took 44 years to reach 1 trillion market cap, while Bitcoin took only 12 years!

Unfortunately, Bitcoin could not sustain such prices for long, and now the total market cap is about 650 billion USD. ( 1 trillion marketcap is about 56K USD)
Anyway, that is an impressive milestone for Bitcoin!

No matter what the current status of bitcoin is, just by seeing how far and how great the achievement it has made it is already something that we should be proud of. Bitcoin started in a scratch and a lot of people doubted its capability and look where it got them. They are all regretting that they didn't invest in bitcoin when the price was still low considering the fact that they've known it on the earliest days where the price was so low. Bitcoin has grown a lot ever since and most of the altcoins considers it as a foundation on their price growth.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 25, 2021, 07:54:19 AM
Regardless of having the price being confusing these days, bitcoin definitely hasn't reach its lowest yet. Maybe you can try buying few every time the price goes down and if you see it the next day it might go high once again. Many people who have massive holdings are worrying right now but I think they should just keep on holding their bitcoin because when the time comes that the market recovers, their panic selling schemes would only bring them regret. Take the opportunity of the bloodbath currently in the market and be firm as you hold it.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: May 23, 2021, 06:54:51 PM
Slightly tells me that I know bitcoin from this forum around June 2017,
But I haven't kept up with the crypto world for a long time due to my busy business and boredom with the price of BTC in 2019.
So I almost forgot all my assets until there was one. the thing I think is my stupidity, I omitted my Trezor which still contained around 9 ETH at the time I bought ETH around $ 700 in mid 2018, and ETH keeps dropping so I ignore it.
Long story short I want to start from scratch I want to ask the seniors who are here.
I want to start trading again. Could you please give me some advice so that I don't go through things like a few years ago.
You can leave your regrets and start from a scratch. Actually, it is a good time to enter an investment considering the fact that the market is currently experiencing a bloodbath. As you get the chance to buy from a low price and you know you can wait and persevere, you should not miss the opportunity once again. Do not repeat the same mistakes you had back then. There are a lot of people who didn't even had the opportunity of learning about crypto yet you mistakenly thought things wouldn't get better anymore as you got from the price last 2019. If you don't want to regret again, start right away while you still can.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: May 23, 2021, 06:18:35 PM
It is very clear that holding is your only choice left if you want to regain all of your lost money. The market is down really bad at the moment and many people are experiencing massive losses but most of them are still hopeful and willing to wait no matter how long it may take for the market to recover. If you are really eager to get back all of your money or recieve higher profits, then learn to wait and stop touching your wallet for a while. Many people learned through regrets from the past and it is not a good time to commit the same mistakes once again.
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun Done? on: May 23, 2021, 05:51:49 PM
It's actually hard to proclaim that the bull run has already ended. The market is indeed hard to understand at the moment because the price movement of bitcoin is very confusing. Nevertheless, we should not expect much from bitcoin right now but that doesn't mean we'll lose hope that things may turn around all of a sudden. Who knows what might eventually happen, as usual the market is very hard to predict but I think you would win more if you will be holding your bitcoin still or you can just try buying whenever the price is falling down.
539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning your first merit on: May 23, 2021, 05:15:31 PM
When I first entered bitcointalk, there were no merit system yet and you can rank up through the count of your activity. I find it effective that merit was introduced because it made sure that everyone would post reliable and knowledgeable comments or topics in the forum. When I first recieved a merit, I was so happy and I felt like I am doing my part here in the forum. I felt like I am doing my role to share my experiences, wisdom and tips specially to newbies. I am glad I was able to earn more as time passes by and I would advice you all that instead of pressuring so you can get a higher rank, savor your moments here in the forum and be glad that other people are learning from you.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish? on: May 23, 2021, 04:47:10 PM
Considering the current market trend, I think it would be best if we keep our money for buying on hold and find a good entrance on buying. If we would look at the chart generally, we can see that it is quite bullish but if we would try to analyze the market right now, we all know that it will soon turn to bearish. Bitcoin affects almost every altcoin and once it is the downtrend for bitcoin, it is much expected that altcoins will soon follow. Let us use the current bear market as an opportunity to buy since sooner or later, the market will recover once again and bitcoin might new ATHs.
