if they removed from the DT network, their feedbacks on those scammers will be invalidated since they aren't in the trust network anymore. it will be a mess and a lot of work for other DT members to retagged all of the users who were tagged by DT users who were gone in this forum months or years ago.

But conversely, it also means that the tags are permanent and even if a user proves themselves trustworthiness again, or their earlier accusation is dropped the tag would still remain as the DT members are no longer active. This also works in cases of users they positively trusted who prove not to be trustworthy.
Trustworthiness is not static and should be changing as circumstances do.

..

I would love to see the statistics on this. This would give us an idea of how much activity goes on on those threads and which local language should get their own board for better discussions.

Bold move from Sarri to leave Can out of the champions league squad. This could mean he is not in his future plans for the club, and is only there to strengthen the squad in case of injuries.
Emre Can hinted at needing to play champion's league football, this could lead to an exit when next the transfer window opens.
5284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 04, 2019, 05:07:25 PM
Matic was reportedly by British media that they were getting hot because they didn't get a chance to play. Although rumored to be leaving Old Trafford, he remained until the transfer window closed.

Man United let go of quite a number of players this past transfer window, and they failed to get sufficient replacements in, this could have added to the reason why Matic wasn't allowed to leave the club. They need depth in the squad.

he once became a substitute when Manchester United offset Southampton 1-1.

If you meant upset, then I will add that Manchester United has not fallen that low yet. They are the bookmakers pick in fixtures like that.
5285  Other / Meta / Re: Prediction of sport games on: September 03, 2019, 09:01:54 AM
There are many gambling options available, hence why there are so many diverse topics to discuss on aside sports, I've also seen threads on beauty contests. Sports is a unifying factor, hence it takes a lot of the discussion, I do not think that is off topic as long as it's remotely concerned with gambling.

Gambling discussion is a child board of Gambling, and there are other child boards as well, I do not think creating more would solve any issue, rather report whichever posts you think is not meant to be there and the mods would handle it.
5286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifying Germany VS Netherlands Discussion on: September 03, 2019, 08:57:10 AM
I think a discussion thread should cover the entire competition and not just a single qualifying fixture as the topic suggests.

I am backing the Dutch, to come out with the victory although it's be a very tough fixture for both teams.
Most bookmakers I've checked have given an advantage to the Netherlands.
5287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 02, 2019, 05:57:16 PM
Romelu Lukaku got racial attacks from Cagliari fans.

This is probably the third racial incident involving the Cagliari supporters in just about a year. And at this point the club and the league would need to take stricter measures to curb the growing menace.
The race for the scudetto would be very interesting thing season, with a number if clubs stepping up and making high profile sign-ins, the latest of which is Henrick Michitarian (I hope I correctly spelt that) to Roma.
5288  Other / Meta / Re: Sendable merit, how to use it? Send it when agree/ disagree with posts? on: August 31, 2019, 08:37:16 AM
To end the thread, do you agree with my opinion?  Kiss

I guess everyone has their opinion of what makes a good post. There is no general guide book. And I'm sure members consider different factors. Such as effort, relevance, and uniqueness of the post. Give merits to posts you think are deserving of it.

A translation of a relevant post could be given merit(s) just for the effort put in, even though it does not offer any new idea.
Members also judge ranks differently; i.e what would earn a newbie/jr member a merit might not earn a full member or hero member any.
One accepted rule would be not to use it for personal gains; on alt accounts or merit sale.
5289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 30, 2019, 11:59:13 AM
Barcelona must think about it. If someday Messi is injured again or even retired.

Replacing Lionel Messi would need lots of talent and also psychological. The team over the years has grown heavily dependent on him and his absence would leave a very big space. And talent wise it would be almost impossible to get a player that would give the team what he does.
5290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 30, 2019, 04:46:03 AM
I hope Real won't face the same fate as last year when Ajax slaughter them.

It's very likely not be Ajax, this time around. I think they would struggle to qualify from their group as they are locked with pretty tough oppositions.
Would be interesting to see which minnow team rises up this season and adds the spice to the competition.
5291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Surpass $15,000 This Week: Max Keiser on: August 30, 2019, 04:41:33 AM
Well it hasn't surpassed the $15 k mark yet, but it could possibly in a couple of weeks. We're currently in a buy phase as the price dropped below $9500. I do not think that would be any reason to panic. I predicted on a thread here that we would hit the $15k mark before the end of September, and I'm still quite optimistic of that happening

But do not follow predictions or suggestions. Do your own research and make your own decisions.
5292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 29, 2019, 06:09:09 PM
Lots of exciting pairings from the UCL draw, and there'd be lots of interesting odds to pick from once the full fixtures are announced. My luck for group(s) of death would be groups; G and F, that are maybe the most balanced groups and very difficult to pick who goes through.
5293  Other / Meta / Re: Add real-time Bitcoin price in the forum. on: August 29, 2019, 04:45:56 PM
Originally, forum created for Bitcoin discussion, and mainly focused on technical aspects.

The forum is focused on all aspects of Bitcoin, and this also covers the economic aspect, including trading and speculation.
I do not think a price ticker would be in contrast with the vision of Satoshi, but it is not also a priority. And if implemented, I would suggest it shows the price of BTC only. As that is the price objective of the forum.
5294  Economy / Economics / Re: First biological theory of money supports Bitcoin on: August 29, 2019, 08:04:56 AM
Bitcoin is something that gives you possibility to store money in virtual world like you store it in real life.

But it is not efficient as a store of value and would take a long time before people massively adopt it as such. Majority do not want to be responsible for their assets, they want to have a place they can go to, should something go wrong. And others believe you have to be 'techy' to get into bitcoins.

As a payment tool, it is a lot more efficient. Quick transfers which are anonymous and immutable. But it is still held back by adoption as only few real life stores accept bitcoins as a payment option.
5295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 29, 2019, 07:22:34 AM
This actually sums up how incompetent Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Ed Woodward are in the management of the affairs of the company

I was watching an analysis of the Manchester United equation some time this week, and it  made me see it as more of a management (board) failure, than coach (technical staff). This is the fourth manager since Sir Alex, man United has been steadily dropping as they moved from one to the other.

Lots of money has been spent during that time, and not much has been gained by the club on the field. No distinct style of play. And they are already losing most of the pedigree gotten over the decades they were successful.

5296  Other / Meta / Re: Being I am generous by nature, I want to give merits on: August 28, 2019, 03:03:23 PM
indeed can't create a self moderated topic in this section, not sure why.

Meta is a section that is meant for discussions about the forum: suggestions, modification's and additions.
But self moderation AFAIK is designed to enforce local rules which may be different from the standard of the forum. So those personal rules should not apply on a meta thread, and anyone should be allowed to freely contribute to forum discussions.

If replies are off topic or low quality here, mods would delete them. If you want to facilitate that, you can report the posts and the mods would take action.
5297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 28, 2019, 01:54:47 PM
Alexis Sanchez (Manchester United) to Inter Milan almost done deal[1]. Medicals today. Official announcement later today or tomorrow.

I'm surprised Manchester United are still letting players go without buying replacements. Ander Herrera, Romelu Lukaku, and now Alexis Sanchez. They have a thin squad and this would create problems for them later on in the season. They have the January transfer window, but have 15 games between now and then.
The title race can not be won by then, but it would be lost by then for many clubs.
5298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 28, 2019, 07:59:02 AM
Messi is one of those who wants Neymar back to Barca, even Messi gets annoyed at President Barca who is very slow in completing Neymar's transfer, this requires that Neymar is still needed  Tongue  but Real Madrid will definitely not want to lose from Barca in the Neymar transfer.

Messi, Suarez and Neymar have remained friends after his departure to Paris, and both would not mind his return to the Blaugranas. But the board has showed enough interest to tell that they also want him back. And players do not need to get involved in transfer negotiations, I doubt Messi actually did

Neymar on the other hand doesn't want to express his interest in Barcelona, as that may shut the door to Madrid should the deal break down.

[Who’s excited for tomorrow’s draw when we will finally come to know which club will be facing each other.

It's almost time for the real football business in Europe, and I'm certain every fan is excited, whether or not their favorite team has made it into the competition.
Liverpool are again looking sharp this season and would definitely put up a huge defense of their title. I feel Barcelona would be their biggest threat in the competition.

...

He surely deserves all the accolades, for what he did does Barcelona and the entire world of football. His brand of football would definitely be a part of the game for a long time to come. His current student would produce more students who would rebrand his football and make it more suitable for the modern game.

One suggestion; I think it'd be better to call him, the 'late' Dutchman, rather than former.
