first of all the number of nodes grow fast exponentially about 2 weeks ago which is very suspicious and the number can easily be faked, specially since the are all located in US they can be all from one of those aws servers. and besides you can always continue dreaming about ether replacing bitcoin but it will never happen because simply bitcoin was open to public from day one and coins have been distributed fairly to whomever wanted to buy but ethereum has more than 80% of its supply in the hands of developers and foundation: no fair distribution. |

i checked one of these lists of advertising networks but all of them apart from a-ads are rejecting blogs.
Most advertising networks accept blogs, it's just that you need more traffic and you need to establish your blog. Even big ad networks such as adsense accept blogs, just not free domain ones. My suggestion is to post from a free domain using a-ads for a while, then if you can get exposure and pageviews, upgrade to bigger and better ad networks. i was eligible to enable Adsense a long time ago the thing is that i want to get paid in bitcoin and Adsense is paying in fiat! @OP what is the issue with A-ads it self? I saw a lot of blogs with a-ads banners, if you have a crypto related and bitcoin related blog than a-ads also accept your blog. I rarely see a-ads rejecting any website.
the issue is that they are ignoring most of my traffic. it says for example 100 impressions but the Unique impressions is like 5 or 6 which is really weird and much lower than what it should really be. .com or .net domains cost yearly $10. Also, you can find cheap hosting for your blog like $1-monthly. So, domain $10 + hosting $12 = $22 for year. it should blog to repay without any problems

the most important thing that you should know about bitcoin earning that is going to help you along the way is that bitcoin is money and there is no magical way of making lots of it from any method. you will soon encounter many different options, and when they look too good to be true it means they are scam. |

after all the accumulation for a couple of days when price was stable at $910-$918 and also the bottom of the recent correction we are on the move up. i expect $1000 soon be broken again mostly because of the FOMO that happens after the initial rise, and eventually an stable price above $1000. what do you think? how many of the total supply right now is dormant and has been for a long time? way, way over 50% i'd guess. average daily turnover of total supply changing hands is a fraction of that. there'd have to be a truly massive loss of coins for it to have a noticeable effect.
i don't know what turnover means in this context but the total amount of bitcoin that is changing hands so to speak is about 2 million bitcoins on average every day. and that is 12% of total supply. i say this from here: https://blockchain.info/charts/output-volumeThe total value of all transaction outputs per day (includes coins returned to the sender as change).

Why do you not buy regular TLD domain? $10 is not a too big price for starting your blog. I say about .com or .net domains.
You always can buy .xyz .info or similar for a $1 first year. After the first year, you will know, whether they are worth and do you want to renew your domain. Until then would be to earn for renewing.
a decent domain name is going to cost more than just $10 and if i want to buy one someday i am not stupid enough to go for a .xyz or crappy things like that. and also you are forgetting about hosting, a domain alone means nothing without hosting and it is going to cost me. right now i am mostly experimenting, i have a blogger free blog and trying to keep my current at least 100 visits per day and grow it, if i was successful i will move to bigger projects. @MadGamer thanks for the links, i haven't had time to check them out but i will update here if i found something and successfully was accepted. |

Yes, its around $900 range for almost few days.Due to situations which happened in china after PBOC action, price started falling and most of bitcoin holders got panic and started selling their bitcoins.That led to price fall to even $750. But there is still demand for bitcoin among new investors. I think their buying power has stopped bitcoin not to fall below $900. Also chinese holders who sold out in panic are trying to rebuy their holdings.it might also be a reason.
the China situation is getting too old and worn out and it happened during the fall from $1100+ price and continued a while until all the weak hands were flushed out. and the fall was mostly because of many panic sources not just China, it was the panic of China, PBoC, the fact that 1100+ happened once and fell, the bubbles,... FUD,... and now whales are accumulating more happily that they ever been. |

I wouldn't dismiss his prediction immediately. Why are you saying that he is delusional? It's based on your past experiences, which show that nothing of the sort has happened with an altcoin in the past.
yes but also from the fact that we do not see any good altcoin projects alive at the moment, there are many half dead, half ass projects and there are lots of dead ones. unless a Satoshi Nakamoto 2.0 comes out in 2017 i don't see a new good coin being created. But the key to this market is that it is unpredictable, bitcoin was completely worthless at one point, and who could have predicted it would be worth close to a $1,000 just a few years later?
it wasn't really hard to predict price of bitcoin will rise up a lot when it was 1 cent. you know what bitcoin offers its users right? If there is no major adoption of bitcoin soon, it will lose ground, but yes, McAffee's statement seems kinda unrealistic.
what grounds? bitcoin has a certain level of adoption, even if it doesn't grow it will still have this much adoption. and unless you can see 1/10000th of that adoption in any other altcoin i wouldn't worry about any grounds! |

always look at the volume not the price. - yeah price is stable right now and there isn't really much movement in it but the volume is still high enough.

Sports betting is still a sort of gambling and not everyone can afford to lose big amounts. So those who have less money can invest less in betting and win. I also prefer small bets because i also do not have lot of money to play with. I dont see anything wrong with betting small amounts in sports betting. I agree that it is pretty much the gambling type that has the best chance of giving you earnings. Though betting little amounts doesnt mean that you have no confidence in winning because if you bet in the correct game that you know a lot, the chances of winning is a lot better than losing. It's just maybe that gambling itself is not a top priority for the person that's why bet small amounts. It just about knowing your priorities dude being small or big is a relative term. one amount can be small for someone and be big for some other person. that is why you should always have a point of reference for example your bankroll or your wallet balance. if you have a large amount of funds then a 0.01 bet is small for you and if not 1 satoshi is. the important part is betting what you can afford to lose. |

things you say don't make sense. if someone is a newbie then he has no knowledge and skill and if he has them then he is not a newbie! and also an experienced person in trading won't lose money, and even if he makes a wrong decision (which happens rarely) there are numerous ways to fix it and lose a tiny amount which is lost in the total profit. |

Speculation is not very healthy for bitcoin,
but it should be there, it creates nervous people, it creates bad decisions. Finance feels alive with speculation.
what you said is not called speculation, it is FUD and lies. that is what creates panic and makes people nervous and it is sadly part of any market, more in bitcoin. speculation however is a different thing and as above comment says is a part if every market. there is lots of study behind real speculation, but this board ruins it with replacing speculation with "guesses" |

But it was not easy, we must have a good reputation on this forum. Moreover, we have to be smart to select people who will borrow money. Because we know a lot fraudster in this digital world. the name "bitcoin" is just icing on the cake. it is not the main reason for bitcoin's success. there are altcoins with good names too but you never see them succeeding at anything!
there was all those good features in bitcoin first and then price came in and name of it helped.
