541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 11, 2023, 10:58:30 PM
So, my question is can Bitcoin give a life that I dreamt as a child. Is it possible to gain financial freedom? What exactly does financial freedom means in context of Bitcoin?
How can you define in yourself the financial freedom that you wanted or might one of us want?
IMO, this financial freedom means having enough passive income to cover your living expenses without having to work for it actively.  So it means you need to have a stable job to have a stable source of income.  That's the real meaning of financial freedom.

Bitcoin isn't a magic solution to financial freedom.
It's just one tool that you can use to achieve your financial goals.  You still need to have a solid financial plan in place, manage your expenses wisely, and invest in a diversified portfolio.  It can potentially give you the life you dreamed of as a child, but it's not a guaranteed path to financial freedom.  It's just the same on fiat that you've got full control of your asset without controlling the third party like central banks, that's only the advantage.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Life is good with 250 units of bitcoin; early opp. on: April 10, 2023, 11:37:06 PM
It's just occur my mind in around 2008 first time I heard people talking about bitcoin, some media friends were texting and DM my facebook, BBM to buy bitcoin at a very low rate of $100 but I seriously kick against the opportunity to store bitcoin as many units as I will. My friend bought 100 units then and stored it to some points when it turns $3000 and he sold them out.
Its funny pa say, because are you sure it was Bitcoin you heard of far back in 2008? Because in 2008 Bitcoin never existed, as it was launched in 2009, a year after, of which nobody took it serious back then simply because it had no meaningful tangible value, and its mining was free compared to now which is very expensive, which only if you had $1 or a P.C, you could have afforded to buy or mined more than 1000 BTC back then in 2009.
Haha, it's funny and you got him busted with this which is clearly not saying the truth.
It might OP means it was back in April 2013 when Bitcoin first reached a price of $100, not in 2008 which at that time don't have an exchange market to buy Bitcoin.  How come @OP huh...?

I've been for years in crypto but until now I didn't have even a single number of Bitcoin.
If you have that large amount now, might you also suspect money laundering when you exchange it into fiat, it's very risky either.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use if…then… for scripting in trading coin? on: April 10, 2023, 11:19:50 PM
So the question we need to answer is: if ETH goes up, what do we do? On the contrary, if it decreases, what will you do?

We all believe that in the short term ETH can decrease, but in the long term (until the end of 2025) there is a very high possibility that ETH will have an amazing growth (because now ETH has entered…
Of course, cut your profit off and re-invest.
But I don't believe that much, if Ethereum will increase it will do the same on the Bitcoin side which I plan to hold much.

IMO, predictions are just that, predictions and no one can guarantee a 100% success rate result.
By determining potential outcomes in advance or what's in the future, you can make informed decisions and maximize profits.  Considering both short-term and long-term has possibilities when developing your plan.
544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any website to compare 2 different currency prices over time vs USD? on: April 10, 2023, 11:07:44 PM
Here are the websites that you can choose from, besides, others were already given above.

Just choose which is best for you and have the option to compare individual coin pairs.
What I like most is Tradingview because it has a lot of tools and features that you can use while comparing prices or having price analysis in trading.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you a long time hodler? on: April 10, 2023, 10:45:32 PM
as a fellow bitcoin investor, what strategies have you found to be most effective, to maximizing your returns while minimizing risk?

do you prefer to hold bitcoin for the long term or you actively trade based on market trends?
A perfect way to minimize risk and possibly avoid losses.
  • Holding long-term
  • Do DCA in purchasing Bitcoin

The main reason people hold Bitcoin in the long term is the potential for price appreciation because Bitcoin has historically had significant price increases over time, and some investors believe that this trend will continue in the future until it will make again an all-time high or ATH.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 09, 2023, 11:46:24 PM
Just watch this, How Debt Get You Rich | Robert Kiyosaki.

See, borrowing isn't bad as long as you know how to manage it and I did the same, I have also a debt but I manage to become wealthy someday.
Because I believe that debt can be a tool for creating wealth, it's important to approach it with caution and only take on debt if you have a solid plan for using it to generate income and grow your investments.

I realize that it would have been smarter to only borrow money if I had a clear plan to use it in a way that could help me make more money in the long run, such as starting a business or investing in a property that generates profit.  Borrowing for things like vacations, entertainment, or non-necessary purchases is generally not a good idea and can lead to unnecessary debt.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take good care of yourselves on: April 09, 2023, 11:33:07 PM
I tend to agree with the OP.
I've been years joining signature campaigns but to be honest, I didn't have Bitcoin in my wallet, I spend most of the time when I needed it.

Don't hesitate to invest when it comes to your health.
But don't feed too much yourself it should balance between enjoying the present and preparing for the future.  By practicing self-control and wise spending habits, you can ensure that you aren't sacrificing your current quality of life while still investing in your future financial stability.  Being financially prepared can also provide a sense of security and peace of mind, knowing that you have a safety net to fall back on in case of unexpected events in the future.  So IMO, it's important to find a healthy balance between spending and saving to secure a stable financial future for yourself.

All I can say is spend wisely your Bitcoin.
548  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: About Hardware wallet]  I am curious to learn; please help. on: April 06, 2023, 10:42:43 PM
The solutions above will solve your doubts about the third party, but if you are skeptical about the developer of the hardware wallet itself, using an open source OS with airgapped devices will give you high security.
Is that really safe?

IMO, if you've doubted that it has been tampered with, it's better not to use that hardware wallet at all.
There are several signs that you can determine a tampered hardware wallet, has physical damage on the item.  For example on Trezor device, has a holographic seal with the Trezor logo that covers the USB port and the edges of the device. The seal has a unique serial number that can be verified on the Trezor website to confirm its authenticity.

The Ledger wallet has a tamper-evident seal that covers the USB port and the edges of the device.
The seal has a unique QR code that can be scanned using the Ledger Live app to verify its authenticity.

So be careful and it should be on the official site for less worry.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you share with your friends and relatives about your crypto holdings? Beware! on: April 04, 2023, 11:56:15 PM
There's no point sharing the amount of crypto that you're holding even if that is your friend and your relatives, except the one who you trust most, for example, your partner in life or your parents.  I'd rather keep it private for the seek of privacy because we know every valuable stuff is very hot for greedy people.

I share only the information about bitcoin but not the amount I hold because to many risk we can get about exposing this and might we can get more unwanted message which can destroy a relationship especially when money is involve on discussion.

I better stay silent about balances but if they talk about crypto well I can give them some basic or generic answer which is also important if they want to learn about it.
I tend to agree with all of these, teach them if they wanted to seek information regarding Bitcoin but don't show to them your entire balance.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: The beginning of the end for centralized AI? on: April 04, 2023, 11:28:27 PM
Upon having a short research this is what I've found.  Italy became the first Western country to ban ChatGPT
Upon reading that article, not only Italy but also other countries have been increased or other plans to increase restriction reading AI projects.
Centralized or Decentralized systems can still be subject to legal and regulatory frameworks.  It might possible that new regulations could be developed specifically targeting decentralized AI technologies.

But this question is still on my mind, I didn't see any official announcement, better to seek out official information and sources before jumping to conclusions because this is only a rumor.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 04, 2023, 11:09:42 PM
First, educate them, if someone showed interest it's a good sign to convince them, it's important to educate skeptical individuals about the benefits and risks of Bitcoin so that they can make an informed decision.  Because if you insist, it might someday when they will fail they will surely blame you in the future.

Let them decide on their own, at least they know already the pros and cons of Bitcoin investment.
Because these kinds of people are usually wasting time because they have an attitude of not easily believing.  Because when dealing with a skeptical person, it's important to listen to their concerns and address them with accurate information.  Be patient and understanding, and avoid being overly pushy or aggressive in trying to convince them.  Respect their decision and not pressure them into investing in something they're not comfortable with.
552  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet, what's my outgoing address? on: April 04, 2023, 10:55:32 PM
Bob sends 1 Bitcoin to Mary on Electrum Wallet

Who does Mary think the Bitcoin came from?  What address does she think is Bob's?
Every transaction successfully made on the Electrum wallet it will automatically change and generate a new address, there's an "input" and "output" address, and it will generate another address after the transaction.  If Bob will reuse the same address you can easily determine the transaction that comes from him, so focus on the "output" transaction because that is how you'll determine where it comes from.  Electrum Wallet has this more privacy feature and the reason I liked it most.

You can check the transaction ID through blockchair.com you'll see there the Senders and the Recipients addresses.
553  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit scam on: April 03, 2023, 11:59:29 PM
Based on the video you've shared, you lose, nothing else.

Dont blame them if you lose, that's your fault.

So what do you expect?  After playing slot then if you lose your money will back?
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rules to follow with bitcoin to live a happy life. on: April 03, 2023, 11:54:32 PM
All stated above was right and I tend to agree, there are too many too of them if we mention them one by one.
The most important thing is that we understand how Bitcoin will work and how to secure it.  Know how to manage your risk and investment responsibly, leading to a happier life.

Always remember these.
  • Invest what you can afford
  • Not you key, Not you coins

It's very important that connect all mentioned above.
555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: knowing the basic concept is enough for a beginner on: April 03, 2023, 11:29:18 PM
All you've asked was on this section and it's on the sticky threads (pinned post), just read them and I'm sure it will boost your knowledge, believe me, if you spend more time in reading than posting, you can build up enough information as what you're looking for.  Always remember to read the forum rules and guidelines so that you will know the dos and dont's.

I'm glad to know Bitcoin is legal in your place, to gather more information about Bitcoin, aside from this forum, this article is worth it to read.
https://bitcoin.org/en/
It supports many languages and all the basic information about Bitcoin was there.
556  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this is right idea to start? on: April 02, 2023, 11:21:50 PM
...is it right idea to start from learning a language?, if yes then what language will be good for a beginner ?
IMO, yes it is.
Because different programming languages have different levels of strengths and weaknesses or could be pros and cons, and each one is suited to specific use cases.  For example, Python is good for building prototypes and proof of concepts due to its simplicity and ease of use and C++ is usually used in blockchain development because it provides fast and efficient performance or is used for core development in Bitcoin.  So as a beginner, go for Phytoon which is an ideal choice.

Ain't an expert in coding but I think you need a mentor for this or DYOR is always the best move here.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 02, 2023, 11:03:21 PM
Without an on/off ramp to/from the Fiat and crypto worlds, I wonder how would the industry survive?
It could be a threat to shut down all altcoins but not Bitcoin, due to its decentralized nature of it we can use DEXs.

Quote
Will a world without CEXs mark the end of crypto?
It could have an impact on the market but if it doesn't it will stop or shut down, still, we have a second option to use DEX.
CEXs are only good for liquidity and DEXs for privacy but as of now let's enjoy using them with their different features.

Quote
What makes you think other countries will tighten regulations especially when they claim crypto can be used to avoid sanctions?
IMO, regulations can vary widely from country to country, some are embracing crypto to make it legal tender while others banning or have heavy regulation towards crypto.  So the decision could be an eye on the government and it depends on their jurisdictions, we can't generalize them all.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 02, 2023, 10:46:03 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Also freedom from your Boss.
Yes, that's possible and it could be a lucrative way to earn income.
But that isn't ideal if you only rely on day trading without a stable source of income, which can involve significant risks and it requires a great deal of knowledge, skill, and experience to be successful, and even experienced traders can have losing days.

I disagree that day trading is a perfect way for jobless people, it's too risky for them without a stable source of income.
Still a good decision to have a traditional job and look for more resources and start trading for another source of income.  Because trading may not be the best fit for everyone.
559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we start with $10 in CRYPTO MARKET? on: April 02, 2023, 10:22:55 PM
How can we start with $10 in CRYPTO MARKET?
Investing with a small fraction of Bitcoin but not in trading.
If that $10 is the amount that you can afford, there's no problem, you can continue purchasing with a DCA way, just like $10 for now, and the other week when there's a price correction you will invest again in $10 until it will become a large amount.

That's why a fraction is purchasing Bitcoin, but be careful in purchasing and always read the terms on the exchange platform that you will use.
Because there's a minimum required before you can withdraw your Bitcoin.
560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first post after reading forum rules before registration on: April 01, 2023, 02:19:36 PM
Good day to everyone here in this forum, this is my first post and I want you guys to please help me with how to solve the puzzle and collect coins before I make a post in the forum.

The forum said I am a suspected spammer but how can I be a spammer here when I am not even a member someone please help clarify this to me, because I cant see that in the bitcointalk rules I read.
Haha, we're the same, due to my consciousness I read it first on the meta section and find an answer to my questions.
You should do the same, and spend more time reading than posting, this is an ideal way for a newbie not to violate rules and regulations or go with the flow of April Fools Day.
