We all need to learn and there is always the start of it but there is no ending on it.

So learning is a continuous process that will be done by all of us and that is what creatures that have brain does like you and me and others too.

But it doesn't matter if he is well disciplined in the sense that one week only gambling $20 or below stays at that limit then I consider it still a normal limit.
Setting that kind of limit is actually good. As long as the amount is affordable and within the threshold, it is good.

Newbies forget that once they have enjoyed gambling and they become fiercer as they get more bets.

And upon results, when they are in most losses, they cannot let it pass so they become aggressive.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making the Most of $100 bankroll on: April 27, 2024, 10:42:50 PM
With $100 bankroll I will place a single bet on sports with $20, if it win place another single bet with $20 + profits from the previous bet.
And if it win again, do another yolo bet with $20+ previous profits, for example with the odds 2x:
$20 bet - win = $40
$40 bet - win = $80
$80 bet - win = $160 => stop, and start from the beginning with $20 bet
If it lose on any stage, always back to $20 bet.

I suggest not to place a $5 bet on 20 different bets, it will be hard to win anything with that way.
While it looks a good strategy but you may have trouble with some of your bets along your way. It's doable and possible but it's not going to be as easy as it may seem to be.

But as you've said that if you ever lose, you shall go bak to $20 and if OPs friend can afford to lose $20 per bet then he can copy this strategy of yours.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 27, 2024, 10:02:54 PM
OKC wins against the Pelicans and it's now 3-0. SGA dropped 24 points and he's really an underrated player for me.

^ I don’t think the Nuggets will be giving the Lakers anything. I think they want another sweep over LeBron to send a message. This will be an interesting game to watch though. I don’t think the Lakers win
As much as I want them to give anything to Lakers even 1 game, it is a game that no one gives anything to the others and no one owes a thing or two to the other teams, so it's true. This might become 4-0 when we've mostly hearing fans say 4-1.

but the thing to watch will be DeAngelo Russell and what sort of effort he brings to the table after seemingly checking out of the last game.
I hope that he won't be looking forward the next Klay but he just did the last game but yeah, let's see if there's a redemption for his lackluster last game.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small general trading place? [I wouldn’t know as I’m fairly new to this] on: April 27, 2024, 09:25:15 PM
Considering the fees are too volatile as well, that $1 of your purchase would mean nothing because it will go to the fees and sometimes it won't even be enough.

You need at least to have $10 for most centralized exchanges to have no problem with the purchase.

Even in P2P, you won't be able to proceed by just purchasing $1 worth of BTC.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should only hold Bitcoin on: April 27, 2024, 01:43:17 PM
Currently the only option to invest in and hold over the long term is Bitcoin. It is the only truely decentralised cryptocurrency, with a finite supply and being used for its original intention on a regular basis - a storage of wealth that is not impacted by inflation, and the ease of making borderless transactions.
It is deflationary and that's why you're saying that it is not impacted by inflation. But I'd say that it's still being affected by world events and news.

But the good thing about its nature is that it recovers quickly. Its resiliency makes it unique from the other assets and investments that's been known by most and even better compared to altcoins.
547  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you care if your play to earn game is fun? on: April 27, 2024, 08:15:56 AM
Gone are the days of the play to earn that they're all fun.

Yes the dramatic changes has made the game system not interesting any more as many game today has negligence on the fun but centered on the money gain, it's quite clear that fun alone can't make game interesting but the both side should be if balance for many don't go for game as fun but for money, but fun is also an attractive parts that making the game more interesting , the best us fun should be in balance with the money.
When your main motivation to play the game is to earn money, you'll lose the fun and eventually excitement will be gone.

That's what many and I have felt with those games that are ran by profit for gamers. But it's a dream for every gamer to earn while having fun, but the game itself is no longer fun.

When you focus on earning on the game, the main purpose of the game really changes and as a fun gamer, you'd feel that.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: April 26, 2024, 11:45:41 PM
The only problem with poor people is they don't change tactics, because gambling is working for Mr.A doesn't mean that it will work for you and if it's going to work, you will have to find a way to explore your own options and see the one that works for you and you will be fine.
The case has been like this.

When a gambler sees another gambler that flourishes to the games that he's betting or gambling with for so long, that gambler that sees that other gambler will try to do the same thing and think that luck is with him as well.

And that's why it's true that whatever works for the others, might not or migth work for you but at most times, it is not going to work for the rest of us.
549  Other / Off-topic / Re: Microsoft doesn't seem to want to keep Windows secure unless you pay more for it on: April 26, 2024, 11:13:32 PM
Do you think that the Windows system, considering that it's proprietary software, should already have all the necessary resources for good security without having to pay anything more for it?
I don't think so, we're paying for the OS itself and additional security will have to cost more on their end. That's why this business of theirs is lucrative because if someone who wants to have additional layer of security, you have to pay for that.

Although their OS comes with a Windows Defender and if that's not enough for you, no matter how many additional security you have.

It all starts on how we browse the web, with all of the activities that we do.

I've been using Windows for years and without any antivirus installed, I've never gotten any malware or been pwned again. The same goes for Linux, I've never had any security problems with it.
It's all because you have been a responsible PC user and don't download random links sent to you and don't install unknown software.
550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What people some people don't know about trading on: April 26, 2024, 10:50:41 PM
The figures stated there are still possible to achieve in our sleep or passively if we will use a bot but of course we will need to master the art of trading first in order to put proper commands in the bot.
Even in holding, you can get that amount all of a sudden when the market pumps or the only coin that you're holding pumps.

As for trading, using a bot won't guarantee all of your trades. You're just setting it to trade for you but all the decision of your trades will still depend on you.

It's a good help but if you don't use that oftenly, you'd like to do things manually.
Its just safe to say that trading will rely greatly on your own skills and strategies towards trading, and not just rely it on bots that won’t guarantee its success and profitability. But one thing is certain, no one gets quick profits with trading, it can be highly possible losing at an instant but you will never make quick profits within a blink of an eye.
Exactly.

Whether you use bots to automate your trades, the results will still vary on what kind of trader you are. A skilled trader with or without the use of the bots will still become profitable.

But with all of the situations that every trader is getting, it's all about how you're going to adjust with the market conditions and people have been misled about bots to do the adjustment with that matter because in reality, it's not.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 26, 2024, 10:16:54 PM
I can't say whether I need to achieve anything from gambling anymore or no need. Whatever I am making with gambling is already enough.

If I get a losing streak, that's okay. I enjoy sometimes but not at all times anymore when it's causing me that much stress about the unlucky days.

A small win is more than enough to feel that I am lucky and that give me a sense of an achievement.
I think every gamblers hope is to win and not to lose always even though the win is small some are still happy because they are not always a losers but also winners. While some are there to win big to change their lives. And those who are happy with the small amount which they won are not the addicted gamblers but those who chase to win big to change their lives are the ones finally become the addicted gamblers. Because all their minds is to win and not foe the fun. And it will be hard for them to achieve any tangible things from gambling because they are always betting with big amount and lose them all.
There's the sense of achievement that after having a bad day and losing streak, that little amount of win is giving that satisfaction already.

You've been stressed all day long and with that small amount of win, that reliefs all of the bad shots that you've gone maybe within the day or even a week.

Yes, and someone who's having this feeling like me isn't a gambling addict because there's no need for me to chase that much.

Never used and heard of them.

And this is a good thing that you're doing and making a research before you even try to deposit on them. After reading a lot of us that are not familiar of it and never tried it.

The decision is in your hands whether to proceed or not and read as much reviews as you can and if there are bad reviews and experiences on them, take them into consideration.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 26, 2024, 08:41:38 PM
Still kind of amazes me how many people are always out to see Lebron fall down.  I think at this point in his career, unless he's playing against your squad, it's important to appreciate and take in all that has truly been a unique elite force.  I once was like a lot of people and looked to throw stones at his glass house just to watch is crumble down, but learned to appreciate what a true legend/baller/great father he really was.

That said, I wouldn't bet on em again this year no matter what.  Prob out of it after Saturday.
People won't realize that.

He is on his last years and fans that hates him keep on bashing him. Soon, they're going to see people that appreciates him whether they're the goat for him or not or top of the goats, they'd miss a legend like him.

4-0 might be the ending of their series against Nuggets, they've never won against them.  Undecided
555  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is grace actually a corruption? on: April 26, 2024, 08:10:38 PM
In religious terms, yes that's grace. But for someone who don't believe in anything, they will consider it luck.

So, whichever you are believing and you think that suits your belief then believe what you have to believe and consider what you want to consider what it is.

But as for grace being corruption? I don't see any connection on it and it's far from the description.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's last message on: April 25, 2024, 11:58:17 PM
Satoshi disappearance is so complicated and beyond our thinking secondly believing what he wrote last is not necessary as no one know who satoshi is, who knows if satoshi still watch and know every detail about bitcoin from the top till date. What do you expect, satoshi should move on and forget about a project like bitcoin totally, unbelievable except bitcoin lack a quality value and no longer serve as a valuble investment choice rather the purpose of creating bitcoin no longer exist like a dumb project but currently bitcoin is worth the sacrifice so I personally don't believe all this
Yeah, he could just try to change the narrative with what he's really about to do. We don't have any idea where is right now and what he does, if he's still alive or not anymore.

If there is someone that he has entrusted with all of what he's got. His protection is unknown for having this disruption to the world of finance.

He sacrificed himself to retain the reputation of Bitcoin despite there have been a lot of backlash on the early days, and even until now but not about its technicalities anymore but about it being a store of value.
557  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Smoking addiction in the society on: April 25, 2024, 11:25:59 PM
It is alarming that the population is becoming more and more smokers every day. There are many benefits to smoking in society, such as lowering stress and anxiety, as well as drawbacks, such diabetes, cancer, and other health issues. However, I have a question. Rather of taking in oxygen in the morning, a buddy of mine smokes carbon monoxide. Upon questioning, he asserts that smoking first thing in the morning is a more beneficial way to begin the day. I'm curious as to what specifically is wrong with Somker, considering that they have half of the same traits.
It is common that there are a lot of smokers globally.

It's also an addiction that's hard to remove and when they get used to it, whether they do it after waking up in the working, during work breaks, after lunch, dinner and even before going to bed.

The habit that has been promoted by the cigar companies I think started its roots years ago that it's a stress reliever, looking cool in the eyes of the others.

But for me, they should be considerate about the people that surrounds them when they smoke, in other countries doing it publicly is allowed. They need to think about the heavier impact of being a 2nd hand smoker.
558  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gaming strategies on: April 25, 2024, 10:57:58 PM
Do you have favorite gaming strategies? Are there any effective approaches you know of that can be used in different games?
None.

The common is martingale but it's not effective to the majority, for some might justify that it worked for them sometime in the past. But it's not going to be the same.

I think the strategy is about handling the risk and the bankroll that we have. But if it's about the exact gaming strategy, I don't use any of it but most of the discipline is on me.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 25, 2024, 10:28:15 PM
The Heat are a dangerous team in my opinion because they have a lot of specialists who are good at what they do. When everything is going right, they can beat anyone. However, they lack the all around game I think teams need to be able to win a championship. So I wouldn’t call them a bad team, but I think they have a lot of flaws that will get exposed over a 7 game series.
They're like a poison team every time we get to the playoffs. Someone's injured but other teams shouldn't be confident with the rest of the team. Each of them have been trained and can contribute like JJJ, Jovic and the others in the bench.

Heat isn't a bad team and many are waiting for them to get the chip again for this season. But everyone's eyes are all over the other teams that have superstars.

Speaking of the Heat, I think they are an underrated team but they don't have the kind of talent like other teams who have the best players. Coach Spo got extended with a new contract, so he is in for long term. That said, I think Miami management should consider taking this opportunity to invest on more star players as they have the best coach, that way they might experience another championship again.

If coach Spo handles the Clippers where they have 4 legit star players (Kawhi, WB, PG, and Harden), this should get more than a back to back championship, I hope the heat will get to that level of player selection in the future.
Thats' why Spo is good, he's molding those talents out of what they already have and don't look for what they don't have.
