Yeah. And if Klim Sani4 wins it will be another rematch against VP. But I cannot find a link, ESL keeps showing MENA's final match between PSG Quest and the Falcons.
Speaking of them, 1-1 now with Klim Sani4 against 9Pandas.

I believe there are a lot of esports enthusiasts in the region and it will continue to grow. And this season the Riyadh Masters could be the biggest prize pool in DOTA 2 so it may get more exposure worldwide. Qatar's PSG Quest is so far dominating the region but Saudi responded by upgrading Team Falcons with proven international players.
I am hoping for that. As it seems to look that the most desired tournament now is going to be Riyadh Masters than the The International. It's possible that the growth in MENA is going to be quick.

They're all in for sports and definitely going to see the interest in Esports.

A lot of rematches going on. In the SEA, the final match is also a rematch between Geek and Blacklist. I have bets on OG and Geek. Still, a lot of games at the same time even if a lot of teams were already knocked out.
Blacklist wins the slot.
542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Xi Jinping & Biden meetup on: November 18, 2023, 11:17:52 AM
What a coincidence because I was just browsing and saw this topic on some snippet post of this somewhere, I haven't had read the entire thing about this close door meetup that they have. But one common thing that I have read from most with this meeting is about Xi's word about China's readiness to become an economic partner of US.

It seems that Xi and its PRC declaring that US and other known countries should ally with them, they're like the one declaring that if you get along with them, you should do it now.

Well, Biden is unknown to stay in the White House until next year and let's see the development from this.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a mega winner say no to public presentation? on: November 18, 2023, 09:19:38 AM
Yeah he can, but it will resulting he will not able to claim his winnings. Cheesy

Their money their rule, this phrase is unavoidable when you rely on centralized site. Even you've ask them before you win big amount of money, they can give an excuse if their owner or other third party force them to publicity the winner.
That is true, just like this article says: Mega Millions: Can a jackpot winner remain anonymous? Not in these states

It is their rule to announce name of the winner publicly. So if you're from the US and in a state that doesn't allow you to remain anonymous upon winning the mega lottery then that only means that you'll be publicly announced and exposed.

A quote from the article which can be the same in other countries.:

For example, in California, where a winner has yet to come forward to claim a Powerball ticket worth $2.04 billion sold in November, disclosure laws require the California Lottery to share the winner’s full name and where they bought the ticket.

In Missouri, your name is only released if you give the state lottery written consent.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 17, 2023, 06:14:33 PM
Yeah, it was pretty much a one-sided beating. But at least a lesser team knocked down 9 Pandas all the way to the lower bracket. I see some potential in Klim Sani4, although they lost to VP they gave a good fight. I guess they'll be facing a 9 Pandas again or NAVI before facing VP for the region's second slot. BetBoom should clearly get the first slot.
What a coincidence, in the lower bracket there's a rematch and that's Klim Sani4 and 9Pandas.

The region needs more teams. But it's still interesting who gets the slot between the Falcons and Quest. It'll be a Saudi vs Qatar rivalry, both are super rich and seem willing to spend a lot of money to show dominance. I want to see the other ultra-rich countries of Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai funding their own teams as well.
I agree that we need more team from this region and there is no problem with organizations there because it's one of the rich regions in the world. But it's also about how known the esports in this region and only a few of them exists and one support from the Saudi's crown prince is what making this region good.

Team Secret has a worse team than last season IMO. I even thought Alliance could win their series. I am betting on Tickles to knock them out for good.
And another coincidence that OG and Team Secret are going to have a rematch in the lower bracket too.
545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 17, 2023, 04:26:28 AM
Too many games honestly and I don't know what to watch right now seems I'm tired with the early games that just happened in China and SEA region.
Yeah, hard to choose which games to watch. Right now I am watching Virtus.pro against TT somehow hoping for some upsets to see new teams in the mainstream.

Well, for the outcome of Virtus.Pro and Team Team, the game's decided and VP won the match.

And the additional MENA region also adds more games. But it'll be more interesting as the game expands. I still have no idea about Valve's new system of qualifying for the TI. Maybe a top finish in ESL can earn points.
Yeah, they added more games and also more teams to participate from that region but we've got only two choices from there. It's either Team Falcons or Quest.

Or what if an unknown team will be able to beat it because on the upper bracket, it's possible that one of them will go to the lower bracket and what if some surprise goes from there and they'll be beaten by any of these unknown teams.

Within an hour, this match is going to happen. We'll see both teams that have their roster change for the first time, I think that this is going to be a sweep for whoever is going to win.

Team Secret's line up isn't appealling at all for me and I don't think they're strong. Or, they're going to prove me that I am wrong.  Grin

Same here, I don't think the current Secret team is better. I have a bet on OG to win the first map. I'm betting on Liquid and OG all the way to getting the 2 slots for WE.
It's also decided, OG beat Team Secret twice. And as Team Secret goes to the lower bracket, they've kicked Alliance to this qualifier.
546  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why Localbitcoin take this action ? on: November 17, 2023, 12:10:24 AM
It is not only LocalBitcoins, there are some P2P platforms closed their services too like Paxful, 2 months after LocalBitcoins.

Paxful is shutting down

You must have missed that paxful came back! try accessing the website again Cheesy
I was thinking that LocalBitcoins have came back to their service but I was wrong with that thought and yes, that's paxful that came back and lively again. But I don't think that the same welcome from its former users will still be there.

@OP, with all of the potential reasons why they have to close their service down were already said. Bear market, regulatory pressure, not enough funding and lesser volume, etc.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the former executives of it will join force with other the same service for them to render what they've applied and learned from this company they've established.

ESL One KL region qualifiers are on the way and so far we have :

Liquid vs D2 hustlers are score it's already 1-0 for Liquid.

BetBoom vs Moneymakers and this should be a quick 2-0 for BB.
Too many games honestly and I don't know what to watch right now seems I'm tired with the early games that just happened in China and SEA region.

However , the best game of the day should be Secret vs OG and honestly , I do expect Secret to win and show us the new team they have.  Cool

548  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💰New Bonus System | 💸Get all Bonuses from Rank 1 on: November 16, 2023, 10:51:40 AM
You are right and that is why I like dividend casinos like Betfury. The only downside now is, that you don't get any more BFG for gambling there, so with that incentive taken away, my activity dropped (also because of work). The fun thing with earning tokens and getting a dividend, is that you are always inclined to earn more tokens to increase your dividend.
The players that have been earning through dividend will think that they should earn more BFG tokens because you've been playing there and the feeling of earning through it seems satisfying.

But as you intend to earn more with that, there's also a lot of things that needed to be considered when you do that because it's either you're one of the few that's still holding it and helps with the volume.

Anyway, your activity as you've said has dropped already and everyone's thought about holding the token is just all about it and not so good at all and not entirely about the business matter of running the casino itself.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what and which are custodial and non custodial wallets. on: November 16, 2023, 05:13:37 AM
mk4 has given the brief description and differences of custodial and non custodial wallets. And just for the sake of newbies that don't understand about controlling your funds.

It's about that you have the private keys for your wallets and centralized exchanges don't provide it for us.

Some examples of best Non-custodial wallet are:
Exodus,
Coinomi,
Still need to do some research about some critical issues from these wallets.

Metamusk,
It's Metamask mate.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Thinks the Big Crypto Rally Is Overdone on: November 15, 2023, 11:08:05 PM
We shouldn't take anything that JP Morgan says or anyone that has a huge influence in the financial market seriously.

Whatever they say are for their own gain and look, after what he said. Boom, Bitcoin is back to $37k and that's what overdone is for? It's not even starting yet for the best that it can push through.

But whether we like it or not, expect more of these articles from paid publish medias because they'd do anything to make everyone's feeling down to sell your Bitcoins to them cheaply.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 15, 2023, 09:42:00 PM
It is never better to get involved with people in gambling when it comes to money. You can’t give them loans, make deals with him, or invest in their game. I don’t even recommend baking in poker to anyone. Ultimately, all this will most likely lead to loss of money. If the OP cannot cool himself down and completely leave gambling without coming up with this kind of idea, but by investing in a real business not related to gambling players, this will be much better.
But that's what he's going to do and AFAIK, this actually happens in physical casinos where those rich folks that are in a losing streak and don't have cash with them but with their expensive jewelries, watches and cars are with them.

They tend to use those as their collaterals so that they'll have the money to gamble again and guess what? They're losing again until they're in debt.

The good thing that I know of, is that this isn't part of the actual casinos because if they do, it's actually a kill for their business if they also get into this lending business to their customers.
552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid trading crypto in real person. You can see this now on Binance. on: November 15, 2023, 08:39:40 PM
That's P2P in real life and much worse with $5 wrench attack that's happening. That's why we have P2P online marketplaces and we're allowed to trade there.

I wouldn't even trade with someone personally and I'd keep myself lowkey and this is the main reason why we need to preserve ourselves. Always think that your security and safety is utmost priority.

You never know what people can these days brutally for the sake of money and those that are flaunting what they own in crypto assets, you need to lie low.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not all educated are educated. on: November 14, 2023, 10:12:39 PM
We always get that narrative because of where Bitcoin has started to be known of its use and that's with the illegal transactions. But I guess that died eventually when Bitcoin entered to the mainstream.

This time, it's all about the mixers and etc. They think of the same idea of how it'd go during the early stage of where Bitcoin has been commonly used.

IMO, there's always the agenda with these issues that the exchanges and the governments that they're bringing up. While the exchanges just follows the rules of the government, they just have to implement what's being imposed on them.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 14, 2023, 12:19:29 PM
The advantage of being a gambler is there when you trade and I think it's not all about the balance of the risk that you're taking. But it's about how much risk you can take.

So basically, there are calculated risks that you can do and the risk that you can mitigate through your experience as a gambler.

But most likely, it's just all about your guts being a gambler and no matter what risk you take into trading or holding Bitcoin, it's gonna be nothing to you.

~

If you are really that planning to switch up into trading and you've been a gambler then better to minimize that kind of risking things too much.It isnt necessary but something not
bad to have either. Everything should really be in control if you do want to sustain on things.
There's no need switch though can be done at the same time. But if a gambler decides to leave one for another and that's gambling for Bitcoin trading, I don't think that there's need to choose.

Yeah, like what you have said. As long as you are in control of what you're about to do, that's it. Whether it's in gambling or with Bitcoin trading, that's all what matters.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 13, 2023, 05:33:16 PM
Yes, definitely.

That's an advantage that a trader is already a risk taker and more than that because of gambling. The advantage is there but the results will still vary on how good the gambler is in Bitcoin trading or any market that he's going to trade.

If that gambler learns how to be a good trader then that can be his next hobby and instead of gambling, he'd do trading. But another concern might spark because the gambling attitude is there and what if he makes money off trading and then the profit there will be used to gamble?

That won't make sense but it's possible to happen and is happening IRL.
If you are a gambler on whose tending to touch up the world of trading then risks taking wont really be that an issue unless if you are a gambler whose really have that good risks management and not to those people who are really that addicted or impulsive into it. The advantage on that being a gambling then touching up trading is you do know on how to balance up the risks but there are cons
into it on which on the time that you are really that dealing up with trading then you shouldnt really be having that kind of gambler approach. You would really be finding it to be that
so problematic if you do tied up gambling with trading. It must not because trading could give out better results if you are really that just that know on what you should gonna do.

556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin OGs, Can We Please Practice What we Preach? on: November 13, 2023, 01:19:51 PM
Right, as I have said that even you have the hardware wallet it gives some strength and security but if you are careless just like this guy
~

Fake Ledger Live app in Microsoft Store steals $768,000 in crypto

That doesn't make sense for you to own one when you don't know where you should download the outright app for your hardware wallet.

Yes, and so it's more on the OP side here, maybe he was just overconfident that he doesn't need a hardware wallet although he has preached it. I think majority here, maybe because we really don't hold that much bitcoin or we have a hard time acquiring it, we seldom uses hardware wallet.

But in any case, security should be the priority here. Maybe we can start with Electrum only wallet and then gradually learn the best securities out there, like air gapped PC, muti-sig or hardware wallet. And then back up all the seed and private key.
I agree. Someone who wants to start needs to understand how to use wallets coming from desktops and the importance of how to keep it.

And again, we should just keep quiet about our bitcoin because we are also not safe by criminals that might attack us physically in real world.
There have been various incidents that when a crypto person didn't shut his mouth and they were targeted by the criminals that have been monitoring them for so long.

Because of them being vocal, they were already made planned by these cons.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin OGs, Can We Please Practice What we Preach? on: November 12, 2023, 11:11:28 PM
.
Aside from advising to own hardware wallets, we must also check out how we are browsing the web. With our activities, it is the mainly reason how we become vulnerable.
Indeed,,,,, I myself was a victim of phishing last year which hacked cryptocurrency from some of my hot wallets. And I also think that it is not only the hot wallet holders who will be victims of this kind of hacking.  Those who use hardware wallets should also be aware of this because the environment that the hardware wallet will be connected to must be free of malware, otherwise it may become vulnerable later on.

Yes, definitely.

That's sad and he's been so long holding and yet he never taken a hardware wallet for himself? You're right that everyone should practice what we're preaching if we tell people to hardware wallet and then we don't even have it, you're helping others but not yourself.

But if a newbie just known that hardware wallets are good way to store our Bitcoin and he advises that while having no hardware wallet yet, I think that's fine as it's just sharing knowledge and soon that person might own one then.

Aside from advising to own hardware wallets, we must also check out how we are browsing the web. With our activities, it is the mainly reason how we become vulnerable.
560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top Halloween Online Casino Bonus or Promo on: November 11, 2023, 11:32:45 AM
I am always intrigued by the obsession people has over Halloween? Would you really make a deposit, simply because a site offers Halloween promotions?
Well, for sure that many does because it only comes once every year and if the offers are intriguing and interesting, no one can ignore that.  Cheesy

Yes, I can understand if someone like Halloween themed games and if they join a casino if they offer these kinds of games, but most of these promotions are bullsh1t.. and not enough reason to join them.  Roll Eyes
They are like seasonal so if they're not interesting at all, it's not a requirement to join all of them if they are not appealing to you.

Anyway, it seems that we've got enough already with the halloween promotions and OP probably has got his on this one. And as the thread is just only about the specific event, it's now time to lock the topic.
