5441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you like to see Bitcoin prize stable between 10K-20K? on: July 12, 2019, 07:28:16 PM
Majority of price movements from the past were bubbles and the value technically pumped up, attracted investors and lots of FOMO and dumped back down.
We are seeing more organic growth nowadays with market support and a growing investor base.
So stability is higher now, and I prefer that to extreme volatility.
5442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question of the day: What is your price prediction for bitcoin ? on: July 12, 2019, 07:23:39 PM
In my opinion, Bitcoin has no cap on it's worth and it has the potential to reach very high values over the coming years, but the price is supported by market dynamics; demand and supply. So any increase has to be reasonable and actually possible.
A jump to $100,000 within 4¹/² months is not reasonable at this time.
5443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2019, 05:02:02 PM
More times than not, decision making has decided matches in the tournament, so far. Taking precedence over talent. One silly mistake is all it takes for a match to be won or lost.
Nigeria has been growing into the competition as the matches unfolded, same with Senegal and Algeria, I predict two of the three to get into the finals.
5444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Bitcoin Dice Strategy Guide: How to Win at Crypto Dice on: July 11, 2019, 04:54:31 PM
All these can be classified as strategies to adequately manage your capital, some are risky, and some are more reserved. But they are not ways to succeed while gambling. Dice games is majorly down to luck.
Also do not stake more than you can afford to lose at a time.
5445  Other / Meta / Re: the solution of getting merit for newbies on: July 11, 2019, 07:55:40 AM
Also when you say a blocked account, do you mean a banned account?

what about the blocked account whether it will be easy to appeal because my experience was never a reply from the email listed on a blocked account. even though we really feel we didn't make mistakes. it's just that the problem is an appeal that is difficult to get an answer

And if it is a permaban, then you're violating forum rules by making posts on the forum aside from on an appeal thread. A ban is on the user and not the account.
5446  Other / Meta / Re: the solution of getting merit for newbies on: July 11, 2019, 05:54:05 AM
Merits define whether or not one can wear a signature, and hence determines bounty participation. A forum member should be able to earn at least one to ensure that they don't spam around the forum to fulfill their tasks.

Even if an anniversary merit giveaway was implemented, log in time would likely be used to ensure you are actually participating and trying to learn and not just farming accounts over a 365 day period.
5447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideal Time to Accumulate more Alts? on: July 11, 2019, 05:44:34 AM
Depends on how you define an ideal time to accumulate, if it's based on the lowest possible price, a few months ago would have been more ideal. It's also dependent on the altcoin in consideration considering lots of projects are busts.
Do your research, considering the tokenomics and potential for growth.
5448  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal for Deleting FUD & wrong accusation on genuine project on: July 10, 2019, 03:46:25 PM
To answer the topic, moderators delete low quality and spam threads/posts when spotted, and you don't have to dress their attention to it with a thread, you can simply 'report to moderator'. If the accusations is actually unsubstantial an old baseless, it'd likely be overlooked by those interested in your project, if it's not so clear the you prove it is with a substantial defence on your thread or wherever else the accusations is brought up.
5449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Facts of Bitcoin on: July 10, 2019, 03:36:24 PM
It goes to show how easy it was to acquire bitcoins back in the day and how far it has come to become a highly desired asset today. It goes to show that patience is key in investments.

maybe I am the first person to buy lambo with Bitcoin  Grin Grin
It might be a little late for that, a lot of people have gained huge fortunes from Bitcoin as well as other digital currencies
5450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 10, 2019, 06:37:09 AM
This is just the pre qualifiers, so it's no surprise that some do not recognize majority of the teams squaring up against each other. There are a couple of names which stands out from the rest, mostly due to previous appearance in the finals of the UEFA competition.
As we advance to higher rounds the tournament would get more exciting and there'd be many exciting clashes to stake on.
5451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Yusko: Bitcoin can go up to $ 30,000 without correction on: July 10, 2019, 06:20:27 AM
The traditional market dynamics does not favour such a price increase without any significant drop in the value on the way up. We are driven by human emotions and demand and supply hugely affects the price overtime, and in my opinion, it is unlikely we make such a jump in price without correction.
5452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 09, 2019, 07:06:25 AM
On that particular gambling site, I've not engaged in any unusual game. But I have come across very unusual games on some other websites. One of them would be a ram fight, where the rams charge and lock horns and you bet on one or the other to overpower it's opponent.
Gambling is becoming very popular in Nigeria and new websites spring up everyday, each looking for something new and interesting to present.
5453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explaining the consequences of KYC on: July 09, 2019, 06:53:26 AM
How do you suggest we deal with this sort of number and instances that keep happening?

One way would be not to use centralized exchanges or websites that requires you to submit identification documents, but as an active trader, one has to visit this exchanges often. And investors as well need them to convert fiat yo cryptocurrency.
One thing is do not rely on such exchanges, do not use them as a store of value. You funds can only be seized or hacked/stolen if it's on the exchange.
5454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: July 08, 2019, 08:01:10 PM
Do you foresee it going below $10K, or even $9K ever again? Is it even possible to see the lows we saw a few months ago(ie $3500) ever again?

Any price us possible, and logically yes it can go below $3500, but in the long term I predict an upward rise.
When buying I'd advise you apply trading skills, and buy at different levels, it's best to get it for as low as is possible, and this could be done installmentally, rather than a one off purchase.

For stability and reliability, to an extent, it is reliable. Volatility is high, so it's not stable as yet. It has it's risks and potentials.
I would not suggest a drop off for 5 or 10 years. Rather they could get involved in the community and make their decisions as they learn more about it.
5455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Government vs. Facebook Libra on: July 08, 2019, 06:13:51 PM
Governments when discussing the risks associated with cryptocurrency consisteo highlights external agencies like exchanges. That publicity could be used to warn people to avoid storing their assets in an exchange and effective use of wallets and private keys.
Similar to cryptocurrency, if one unknowingly divulges credit card information to a third party, while for example; shopping online. Their funds would likely be lost and banking agencies would be of little help.

On the issue of Facebook coin, I would rather not give them control or access to my financial details.
5456  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting Mods to check post history of this guy on: July 08, 2019, 02:57:59 PM
I reported one of the posts a while back with a full description, and commented on it hoping others would see it and also report, and he resorted to the use of NSFW language while making consecutive comments on the same post:
The OP isn't trying to say anything new, and has been repeating the exact same content on various topics and now as a thread.

5457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 08, 2019, 02:39:47 PM
Probably because it's hard to understand about cryptos, and it's easy to say it's a gambling

It's not really that hard to understand the basics of cryptocurrency, only that many are too lazy to do their own research and follow the conclusion of 'experts' or the suggestions of banks and governments about the risks involved.
If the skepticism shared by many about cryptocurrency can be quelled, a lot would be able to discover it's true potential.
5458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Woman Travels to 7 Different Countries in 12-Week.Challenge using only Crypto on: July 07, 2019, 04:37:10 PM
This is an adventurous way to check the extent on adoption of Bitcoin as a currency. Although due to it's high volatility, majority of people hold it for it's huge ability to grow and not as a means of exchange and hence they'd be less willing to spend their bitcoins as a means of payment for daily necessities.
This also shows that there are women in the cryptocurrency space.
5459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 07, 2019, 02:14:54 PM
The Nigerian camo should not get too excited about having to play South Africa rather than Egypt. They should keep their feet firmly on the ground. The Madagascar upset is still fresh in the memory, and underrating SA would be a very costly mistake.

Organizers of the AFCON tournament would not be too happy about losing the host. But it is the drama and uncertainty that makes the game beautiful.
5460  Economy / Speculation / Re: it easy for bitcoin hit 1 million dollar without lies/bullshit -- sharp logic on: July 07, 2019, 08:12:30 AM
OP,you aren't saying anything new in this post.

The OP isn't trying to say anything new, and has been repeating the exact same content on various topics and now as a thread.
