561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading vs HODL - Personal Experience for Newbies on: November 11, 2023, 06:24:26 AM
Investing and trading is somewhat risky for every new investor or trader. Initially, an investor or trader does not have a complete understanding of these issues, due to which newbies make more mistakes in investing and trading. In the first instance new members need to get training and practical idea about investment first. Beginners need to use small amount of money first to get real idea. When they can get a fairly realistic idea of trading and investing with a small amount of money, they can start their main investment or trading. But in the beginning if one goes for direct investment or trading then they will not be able to do any good from their trading. So every trader and investor should get enough ideas and practical experience in the beginning.
IMHO, when someone invests he already takes it as something risky even before doing it. And someone who doesn't have knowledge upon doing so is actually a risk taker. But do they know that they can minimize the risk that before doing an investment, researching is going to give them an upperhand.

Just to make sure that your hard earned money will be used properly and wisely, those that invests without prior knowledge are truly taking the top risk.

And relating that to Bitcoin and trading, many of them doesn't mind going to the point of trading as soon as possible because of misbelief that they can make easy money there which is truly wrong and doesn't make sense.

OP is right. Let them experience how this market butchers those that are unprepared so they will see the importance of holding and winning.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 11, 2023, 02:15:19 AM
Holding isn't new for the most of us and we have gone through a lot of hardships and dealt with so many bear markets. So what is with these ETFs getting rejected?

We do care if they get approved but so what if we don't see the result and confirmation that we want to hear? It won't stop us from holding because we will still hold despite with good or bad news that are happening to Bitcoin.

And on this time, when the halving is near, is there any reason to get disappointed and all of the sudden to panic sell? None.

~snip~

This has been used by many scam tokens before so investor now are immune to see those burning situation and they will just think about that this is just a normal thing on a token which have a lot of supply circulating in the market.
Yeah, that's why it doesn't have much impact anymore because of those projects that have done the same and nothing happened. And I've seen some projects too that did their halving but no significant impact too.

What people want base on current discussion happen on this thread is good updates like utility and more bigger exchange listing.

If they will work on this maybe they can satisfy those people asking this and might they will go back to acquire BFG token since so far the current situation of BFG token is not so good.

People talk negative about it that's why BFG team must really need to do something so that they can convince people to talk about something good about their token.
I'm not updated a lot but it seems some of those demands are being done. But it's not just enough to bring more demand and volume to BFG. Bigger listing is one of it to attract more volume and liquidity.

And for that to happen, it's going to require them a lot of money. Anyway, they're not new on this market and having their own economy and userbase, they know how to increase the demand.
564  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💰New Bonus System | 💸Get all Bonuses from Rank 1 on: November 10, 2023, 12:55:13 AM
Good to see this so let see if this can catch some interest of people to accumulate BFG.

The effect of these burnings is minimal. It always has an effect on the dividends you receive (they will be a bit higher) for the next couple of days but the monthly burnings are too minimal to have any impact on the BFG price also.
I reckon. These burnings won't bring significant impact anymore to BFG's economy. Investors are done with this type of strategy that they're just going to burn a few tokens leaving them with lesser supply.

It worked for the projects that have done that earlier but probably not this time and for the coming times anymore. That few millions of supply burned is incomparable to the whole billions of its actual supply which is around 3B.

That is why I don't think that there will be some actual impact on it. Although for the last recent month, we see some upward trend for its chart and we'll see from there if it's going to be continuous uprise.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 09, 2023, 10:50:19 AM
We can't do anything with that, only the miners can do such with that

I can give you a guarantee that miners are not going to do that. They are not making much when there is no congestion. This is an opportunity for them to make some profits; I doubt they will miss that.
Yup, like what's not included on that snipper is that I've said that they're making more money from this congestion.

I can already imagine the smile on phillipma1957's face. The developers are no interested in fixing these things.
Hehehe, he said that he's making more this time unlike the typical days without congestion. They're just enjoying it while it's there because it's not going to last for a long time. Maybe after a few days or a week, these high fees will drop down for sure..

So the only way for Bitcoiners is to pay high fees if you want to do a transaction or wait until these stupids stop doing shit. Another way is to switch to the lightning network. But the problem is it's not widely used yet.
As for me, I can't take that much to pay for such fee with small amount of transaction.

You've got enough welcomes through the forum by just posting your announcement thread with your casino. So, aside from stopping working for new threads with your casino.

It's also best if you get to engage with the people posting on your thread and have some conversations by simply replying to some that are related to your website or anything that's been said to you.

Not that just you'll post the ANN and you're gone or without any reply to the words praising or criticizing your casino.
Indeed. Criticisms should also be answered for clarification. One reason is that OP is simply introducing a platform and the act of ignorance with such questions could create a negative impression. Vision is already there which is to help people enjoy without considering that much of risk ( would be always present). Assurance of a profitable gambling routine will never be constant. If players wouldn’t be comfortable and confident of this platform, and if interests wouldn't be satisfied with this way of introduction then a formal thread as others also suggest would be bets. Also, this is not something any newbies wouldn’t be aware of.
Just give him time, maybe he's busy around working with their website and can't go back yet to this thread.

But that's an important thing for them to remember that, every conversation made should be done to engage with everyone either a customer or not.

As long as they show that they're vocal and very communicative with everyone who discusses things about their platform, that's already a plus to them because everyone can see on how responsive they are.

As of the moment, that's what we can't see from them but as I have said, let's give them time and maybe they can be better and will absorb the advices.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 09, 2023, 06:22:29 AM
We can't do anything with that, only the miners can do such with that but this gives them more profit AFAIK. Like what the other members said on this thread, time will come that the demand from these ordinals or brc20 shits will eventually decrease and gone.

It was like 2-3 months ago when we've experienced the same thing IIRC? But it didn't came to this point that the highest priority would charge us $8+ per transaction. Ain't cool.

But that's what we can for now, let the storm be calm on its own and take the dust after wards. Honestly, I am just confusing my mind that this increase in fees is likely the sign that we're heading on the bull run just as circa 2017.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 08, 2023, 09:46:57 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
Nothing that much different from what people are always telling to the newcomers and that's always to gamble with the amount that you're fine to lose or anything might happen to it.

That's it, and you have to control yourself because most of the new comers are more risk takers than the older ones. Because the old ones know how to control ourselves but the new ones, you might have problems dealing with it.

Next is to find the casino where you think you're okay to gamble all day long and the one that you trust which you think that will give you the best gambling experience.

Never ever do that you'll be storing it on a cloud storage. How many of us before that did it when we're too naive, young and new?

But once you're already here for several years and you understand the risk that it has when you do that, you should know what's better and how you should keep it safely.

Don't be so vulgar too to your friends and family about holding Bitcoin, that's the start of making yourself protected.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 07, 2023, 08:40:57 PM
Financial freedom's description varies per person. Someone might say that it's financial freedom when they can eat everything they want and don't have to be problematic with their bills.

The others could say that it is all about having all the material things that they never have. And the rest will just say it's all about having like lots of money that you can't imagine.

What I've learned from the others about being financially free is that, they can do everything and they all have the time to do things that they want to do while earning passively.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 07, 2023, 02:04:12 PM
I don't plan to have one of it but I just want to be part of it where the operations can be made or at least be the support of it.

Anyway, who doesn't want to own a business especially if it's from a very lucrative industry like in the gambling industry. Maybe I don't have it on my mind but if I've got bunch of money and just want to have one, probably I've done that but I'm not good at it.

So it's going to be a big waste of money because it's not just all about running the casino, the advertising, the cost of everything and security.
However, if you have several supporting factors then I am sure you will have the desire to have it as I have said before and you have said here it takes a lot of money and also requires really good experience in this field of gambling.

Even though some of these supporting factors are very important, in reality there are several sites that seem to be owned by business people who don't have much budget so the sites they set up fail to develop and even scam cases occur such as not paying customers winnings.
There are also some people who are looking for investors to be able to build the gambling business they planned but failed because being able to build a casino business and get investors is very difficult and the owner has to really prove that the project he is creating can generate lot of profit.
Moreover, building casino is not as easy as imagine and requires the help of team of experts in developing it.

If the owner does not have lot of experience and knowledge about gambling, I think it is true that it will only be a waste of money and ultimately losses will be the end of the business.
That is what I am trying to avoid, the failure to pay the customers when I know in the first place that this shouldn't be the case as a business owner that's engaged in the gambling industry. I know what it feels to be as a customer in that position so if I am aware that I don't have the capacity.

Then, I better leave that to those that are able and that's also one reason why I just want to be at the lower tier of the company or organization because that seems to be a tough burden for someone who owns the casino or on a higher level in the office.

I can't do it on my own unlike those that managed to start on their own. However, I think that most of the successful casinos today weren't just built by one single person.
573  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange has the most easy to use app according to you ? on: November 07, 2023, 11:15:07 AM
Most crypto exchange mobile apps are actually easy to use. I tried different exchange apps before and currently use kucoin and binance. So far, the only thing that is concerning is the consumption of storage data like what mentioned above, with minutes of use it will take up to hundreds of MB, you can check it on the app's cache.
I agree, most of the apps that has been made by these exchanges are compatible mostly with even old smartphones. And it's true that they're consuming that much or it's just that I usually install them to test out on my old phone.

Anyway, I understand that because they need to maintain what's in the app through continuous updates and upgrades.

@OP if you want no charges, only a few of them do that but are those centavos of charge per trade do hurt you?
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investment, Beyond "Invest What You Can Afford to Lose" on: November 06, 2023, 11:13:47 PM
It is applicable to everything wherein we apply risks, just like you have said in gambling and trading and the same goes with investing in Bitcoin.

As long as you get to hold that you're investing what you have or what you can afford to lose, they're all the same logic and understanding. There is no dynamics in investing in holding Bitcoin.

You buy and you hold, whether that's your life savings or spare money as long as you can afford to do that, no one will stop you. But of course, we always tell that invest only what you can or what you have.

576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest 8k for passive income. on: November 06, 2023, 07:42:39 PM
I have 8k worth of crypto how to invest

This amount to get 10 or 20$ per day safe methods

I tried future trading and lost
If you don't know how to trade in futures, you don't have to force yourself doing so and that's not going to be considered passive income. Passive income means that you don't do anything and you generate profits from your holding just like the interest accounts from exchanges and wallets and as well as with staking.

Is there any methods related to crypto or something else
And i dont want to invest in altcoins or buying
It is risky if you're going to store that on an exchange then you'll earn 1%-5% of interest from your deposit. Because the risk there is you don't have the ownership of your crypto there upon deposit.
577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi Im very newbie on: November 05, 2023, 11:05:45 PM
Hi , so where do i start do i have any luck to earn some profit?
While earning some profits requires not entirely luck but wisdom and knowledge but you do have what it takes as there's an equal opportunity for everybody for this market.

I been contacted on Telegram someone told to pay signals 300$ ....he showed to his binance profits futures signals.
Im sceptical so i ask here other what should i do ? To buy signals ? And what's the signals price then ? Will i earn 3000% monthly really with payed signals ?? Indont belive is that Easy to make money ?  Sorry i don't want to sound dumb but i really don't know and i don't want to lose for no reason just

Tnx
Good that you're skeptical about that. Someone who brags his profits should just make himself rich first before offering anything that's dubious to any person.

Since you have already been skeptic about that, continue on ignoring and completely putting an X mark to that person. Signals are not going to make you rich but if you want to, you'll help the organizer or owner of it become rich.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 09:10:45 PM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.
They might go into advocacy of dealing with the problem that they're generating money. But maybe for some charity works that they consider, it's good for them to have that support.

We don't know what's in the mind of these casino management if they're up for this support or not. Since they're not a charity as we say and they are a business, they might not come along with this.

Because one justification is that if they already have a self exclusion feature, that's more than enough for one to stop.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 05, 2023, 07:45:23 PM
How do you plan to make the most of your Bitcoin investments before the halving in 6 months?
Nothing really.

I am just waiting for the moment to come and there is no pressure for myself when it's approaching. I just have to do what I have been doing, to do things that are common for me.

Good for you OP that you can do such decisions and they seem as comfortable decisions for you. Cutting the expenses in those unnecessary memberships are actually a good decision.

Those small amounts you think that you're paying them won't hurt you much but if you calculate them how much you're paying them the entire year, you'll see that they're quite consuming a chunk of your money.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 93 Percent of all Bitcoin Has Been Mined on: November 04, 2023, 12:19:25 PM
This makes Bitcoin scarcer and people don't realize that until they see the price goes high to a tremendous that we're never expecting.

No it doesn't!
New coins are mined every day, and there are more coins available each day, the complete opposite of scarcer!
Yes, there are new coins mined every day but considering that the actual supply don't move and stuck with 21 million supply. This makes it scarcer and the longer the time passes by.

Many don't seem to sell the Bitcoins that they're holding.

And lesser supply in the economy while it's known that many of us are holding even I'm just part of the shrimp economy makes the demand higher.
