I was shocked by what I read here. You really have your own ideas and these are outside the usual norm, very original. Good luck guys Wink

"Only dead fishes go with the flow." Read that somewhere, maybe in a urinal or a gas station bathroom somewhere. I think that the quote is what embodies what @digaran as a person, not the kind that will bend to the norm and won't follow what's the current status quo, kind of like an anarchist but will probably follow @theymos's rules.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 28, 2023, 05:39:56 AM
What @swogerino has been saying could be what's the problem OP, sometimes in this affiliate links, the people that you've sent your referral link and used your link to register, they might need to play in that casino to make the referral a legitimate one. I think that's what most gambling website that does referral nowadays do to prevent people that are abusing the referral system and to make sure that you're not just giving out referral to bots and such. You might want to also contact the online casino that you have got this problem from because they might have made a mistake on their side, make sure to cover all the possible reasons why you might've not been paid.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 27, 2023, 08:18:24 AM
~

I'm in favor too, for the safety of others especially if a person is a legit and clinically diagnosed with mental illness, But if a person is being judged because of physical appearance and there's a proof that this person didn't do anything bad inside the casino/gambling shop then It seems like it would be unfair to them if they were suddenly banned just because of a misjudgment and the way a person dressed. Maybe the best thing to do is to tell and talk to the person about the dress code or the casino themselves should make rules about this matter, not to suddenly ban the person from entering the shop because people think he is mentally unstable even though it has not been proven yet .

Sometimes what you see is the truth when it comes to a person's appearance and you really can't help it because you're either being humane but you will be removed from your job so that's how it's going to be sometimes. Sure the dress code would be a good idea but the problem is that if they're really mentally unstable and they're looking like that then you're putting yourself in danger.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 27, 2023, 07:14:48 AM
Do we have a way to know that someone at a first glance is mentally unstable? Sure you can judge by how they dress but that's not how most of these dress so it's hard to tell, I am in favor of having them barred from gambling because they're likely to hurt themselves or the others in the case that something isn't going their way which is likely to happen when you're gambling.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 06:44:50 AM
For me I think it depends on individual satisfaction and what you want to achieve. Some people will want to get the fun for a whole day while other will be okay within few hours. I have seen many gamblers spending their entire day at the casino. I have spent more than 6 hours gambling several times and there are days I spend less hours. Most time it depends on moods and available liquidity.
I think so too, setting a time for your gambling session seems to me a recipe for you craving to gamble for the whole day after you've already done your session. To me, it's best if you just go for playing until you get tired or your bankroll for that day is gone, I mean that's how I'm going to do it but there's definitely other ways to resolve that issue with gambling time or duration. If you're spending the whole day there then it's best that you either cancel all appointments for the day or manage your time spent in gambling.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: December 27, 2023, 05:18:11 AM
If you're feeling that anxious when you're gambling, it's always best if you stop gambling entirely, I don't think you're going to be getting any better if you're feeling anxious and then you still continue doing what makes you anxious, you might be able to train your mind to be that way but there's better way to remove that anxiety and that is quitting for awhile and then dealing with the anxiety through medication and therapy.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: December 27, 2023, 02:31:34 AM
I only listen what my wife says so yes i am disciplined and knows how to manage my
bankrolls or better say my wife is , so I am safe from this questions forever and this is also the reason why
never that i will become a addicted gamblers.

Probably the most effective of them all especially if you want to be a loving husband, and there's no other way around that anyway, you're a married man and still gambling, I think that your wife would be on the right side of things on this one, you could be spending that money on a different things that will help in your married life. For me though as I don't have a wife yet, my best defense when it comes to going overboard with my bankroll is that I put a decent amount on my bankroll and hope that it's enough to satisfy me.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 24, 2023, 11:02:27 AM
I gamble back then with card games but now it's mostly sportsbetting in eSports like CS 2, DOTA2 and League of Legends, there's some occasional games like Valorant that if I like the players playing, I might go for a bet, I've tried horseracing before but find it tiresome especially when I have to travel for almost a whole day to get to the race track and buy tickets, can't find any decent site that offers them so I did that but that might change in the future.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Darts] 2024 PDC World Darts Championship 🎯180🎯 on: December 24, 2023, 10:17:04 AM
I have a dartboard in my house that's just gathering dust, can anyone explain to me how the scoring works here and how to determine who wins? I'm trying to impress my friends when they come here this New Year or before the New Year to celebrate and have a drink with me and eat some food. Does the scoring goes higher the closer you are to the bullseye or the farther you are?
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 24, 2023, 09:10:13 AM
I don't know about you but you're different OP, and I have to say that I'm the same as a lot of the other gamblers here and that it's more fun to watch while betting rather than no betting at all because you know that there's a stake as to what's going to happen and so it ends up with you doubling the fun and loving the team that you're a fan of more than ever. Another thing with betting is that it's a thrill seeking kind of fun so you're more happy than usual, but I also get why you're stressed out OP, one thing that you can do to get that out of your system is if you don't worry about the bet or just bet what you can afford to lose.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 24, 2023, 08:20:42 AM
I don't take the time I'm so sorry to admit that but I do skim it so in a way I'm still familiar with the stuff that I'm agreeing to when I register in a casino and I got to say, I don't think there's been a lot of things that I haven't disagreed in the stuff that I've skimmed in those terms and conditions. Here's to me hoping that I didn't miss anything important. I feel like if I read the whole thing, I would lose a lot of time that I could've been spending on stuff that matters.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling ever whispered you with different strategic prediction measures? on: December 23, 2023, 10:00:47 AM
~

You simply just browse other website or watch videos while waiting for the result since the game he is describing is a sports betting. The only way to see the result to browse the bet slip or watch the live game to check the score. Flipping of phone is not necessary just to hide the result unless it’s game like slots which give the result after few seconds when you place bet.

I understand doing this will make gambling more fun and exciting so I’m not against on doing this and other rituals just to make gambling more fun.
I meant that when I flip the phone that it also includes blocking out all potential outlets of information so you really have no worries.

575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA LIFT THE BAN ON CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NIGERIA on: December 23, 2023, 07:26:12 AM
Wow, congratulations to you guys didn't the Nigerian government in the past month has been on a crackdown against cryptocurrency and that there's only the hotel there that's accepting bitcoin payments, that's the thing that I know on the situation of crypto in the country and thankfully you guys there are getting the freedom you deserve although the ban didn't have any big dent on the bitcoin adoption there but it's still a welcome thing to happen, no more getting antsy if you're dealing with crypto because there's no ban to worry about anymore. Another win for cryptocurrency market!!!
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 23, 2023, 06:55:42 AM
I don’t know why there are so many people still hoping and praying for bitcoin to die as time passes by. Bitcoin has shown a lot of resistance that it cannot be tempered with and a very clear and transparent roadmap for everyone to see its doggedness. Why then hate on a technology that will provide total freedom to your financial holdings? People think differently but in this case, they make me laugh at them. While I take a sip of tea, let’s see what the next biggest doubters will say about bitcoin again.
Because they're adults that have belief that has already have a strong foundation and bitcoin challenges those beliefs so they end up with the closest conclusion that they can get out of bitcoin, that it's a fad that would die anytime soon, just like all the other fads that they've witnessed before, they bunch bitcoin with those and as much as I despise that idea that there's still a mindset like that existing even at this day and age where we're surrounded by high tech stuff that was only a dream back in the 90s, I can't blame them. You don't really want to change your mind if you're unsure of something so they're just being a normal people doing stuff like this, maybe if we teach our kids and other people to have an open mind, maybe we can see the slow demise of these people that you're talking about.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin will bring you hope and gambling will leave you destitute. on: December 22, 2023, 09:43:16 AM
But that's not how the world and the mind of an individual works unfortunately, they can do what they want with the money and not everyone thinks long-term when it comes to financial stability and so we have people like this that risks it all in gambling in the hopes that it can help them get out of the poverty that they're in and not everyone has the patience to wait for their investment in bitcoin or any other investment to mature to the point where they basically doubled their investment, all we can do in this kind of situation is to learn from it and see the mistakes that they've done as a lesson, we can't force them to live how we live and follow the same mindset but we can always do this, tell stories about what they've done and hopefully help a lot of people learn a lesson or two about this kind of stuff.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... on: December 22, 2023, 09:12:19 AM
The problem with that requirement is that there's bound to be a resistance coming from the banks and the currency of a country, it's not easy to replace the legal tender of a country. Sure, El Salvador did it but look at their population and the size of their country and their influence in the global market, it's not going to be the same situation if it's China, USA or Russia that will do this because they're 3 of the most influential countries in the world and in the global market and them changing their legal tender USD, RMB, RUB to BTC is going to shake the foundation of each country's financial institution to the core not including the effects on the global market. This sure is the dream for all of us who use bitcoin but we have to be realistic about all this, not everyone's going to be on our side when it comes to this one.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 22, 2023, 08:38:54 AM
The way consumers accept this bad news will determine how far Bitcoin can dip but understand that it's going to be a big opportunity to get more Bitcoin, do not follow the masses, as they can be easily lead astray.
Everyone who's bearish knows that and I think that it's a good idea that before the dip begins, better to make sure that you have fiat at your disposal to buy bitcoin in case it really did dip. Totally don't follow the masses but remember that where they move is a good way to learn how the market will also move, if the masses are greedy then it's a good idea to slowly start selling because too much greed in the market is an indicator that the price will be going down and do the opposite if everyone's fear is at an all-time high. I need to do up my grind right now because I've spent all the bitcoin and fiat to an emergency, hopefully I would still be able to get some decent amount of satoshi in before anything spectacular happens to bitcoin.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ordinal blockchain irking me, causing almost $40 median fee now... on: December 22, 2023, 07:56:38 AM
It's a pain, but the only option is to wait. Consolidating multiple small inputs have been impossible impractical since October and looms to remain so for sometime more. It's ridiculous the amount of fees paid on regular transactions, much less one with lots of inputs.

If you're in a hurry, try using a transaction accelerator and a lower fee (above the minimum for the mempool now).
That's not the option that people like me can take though, I need to pay some loans and stuff in bitcoin so I can't afford that transaction fee to be higher than the usual when I do transactions. Thankfully, the people that I've owed to are considerate and that they don't mind me not paying for awhile as long as the price of the transaction isn't going to go down. I don't get what's the hype behind these ordinals, I've seen this before shared by my connection in LinkedIn and I've read what it is, can't find the point of the inscriptions and the utility of these, I just hope the miners get tired of all these.
