still hoping/waiting for volume 1

5982  Other / Meta / Re: red trust being posted to a supposed alt that is supposedly ban avoiding on: October 01, 2020, 05:57:10 PM
well rainbowsky has dropped off the deep end now - slamming me, even red trust flagging me, for buying all slots in a raffle ( the OP stated there was no slot limit) simply because he wanted a slot but had not gotten around to buying a slot.

he even referenced "headaches" he got over raffles he won last year (his account was registered June 2020) so he could only be referencing one of the two above alts - he also posts quite often the same items/pictures/lists and comments that were posted by the others - so it is either him, or he is plagiarizing the other accounts...
5983  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] Spend a Buck Win a Penny 2015 Bitcoin Penny Raffle on: October 01, 2020, 05:35:21 PM
and now he red trust flagged me? seriously?

I usually do not participate free ruffles because I won few last year

I think this hits it right on the head about the account being an alt - he references winning raffles last year which caused him headaches - the rainbowsky account was registered this year so it won zero raffles last year. The supposed connection to alamjob though would fit as alamjob would win free raffles and then quickly put the items up for sale. Thus there is the headache he mentions...

Someone in meta pointed out that both alamjob and rainbowsky are alts of a 3rd account as well which is actively banned. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2760726

I can attest that the three are very much most likely the same person to about 99% because they post the same list of items they are "searching" for and the pictures used by the banned account have been sent to me by alam/rainbow in telegram.

I hate to say anyone should be banned permanently as crypto should be uncensored - unbiased and decentralized but plagues like this need to be purged.
5984  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] Spend a Buck Win a Penny 2015 Bitcoin Penny Raffle on: October 01, 2020, 05:01:08 PM

lame explanation? It was the terms of the raffle - and when there are no slot limits, there are plenty of examples of people buying all slots. As for chances - I assume you will now wait till the final few minutes of every future raffle/auction/giveaway so that others can have a chance prior to you?

I really try to refrain from the drama around here but you do tend to draw a lot of it your way.

You are not trying to refrain anything here. Admit and say I am selfish. Do not beg others for your selfishness. When you get caught you call it drama. In order to hide from your action now you are randomly spreading everywhere.
Could you not just wait a little longer for the people who bought frames from you. just a little longer.
Anyway, its all good. move on.

I am not selfish - man, it is a single Bitcoin Penny. And I had to pay for each slot, lol they were not free. And please tell me, who am I begging from and for what again am I begging? Caught? huh? And I am randomly spreading what everywhere?
And wait for the people who bought frames from me? The coldkey cases? What am I waiting for them to do?
You have issues.

It is actually a common occurence for someone to pickup all slots in things like this. Oftentimes all slots are paid for and then open to a random free raffle. I believe MoparMiningLLC has done some of these and I also believe you have put your name in on some. Although in MoparMiningLLC's case he is the generous one and in your case you're the selfish freeloader.. much different. Kick rocks kid.

TeeGUMES is quite right - I have done a few raffles that were with paid slots and a few that were free. I also have done them on Twitter - just earlier this week I did a giveaway on twitter that was for the Ballet Crypto Red Envelope set.

My interest resides in having only one of each collectible - the duplicates I get are either given away or sold via raffle. I would not consider that selfish.
5985  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] Spend a Buck Win a Penny 2015 Bitcoin Penny Raffle on: October 01, 2020, 04:09:58 PM
O man that is not fare getting all 16 slots all for yourself only. I wanted to get into.

DaveF, Can you have another auction like this one please if possible. Grin

fair? wtf are you talking about? It was in the raffle listing - some raffles have a slot limit, some do not - this one did not.

You sellfish. Yuor lame explanation does not mean anything. Whatever the way the auction is set, you still do not do what you just did. I know your kind. Since it was cheap only one dollar, you bough all of them and did not give chances others to get in. This is the facts. I waited for this auction for long time I wanted to buy 2015 bitcoin penny. This is the first bitcoinpemy coin.

I am fine now I was pissed

No explanation anymore from you.

Thank you.

Appreciate the thread, I like them, wish i seen this a bit early as they ran out.

I do have extras - if interested send me a pm - I should be getting matching numbers of the matte coins, he said he would be mailing out by Friday. I really only want 2 of ea (1 set unpeeled and 1 set that will be peeled)
5989  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Alpen Coin - “Switzerland’s first ever physical bitcoin” on: October 01, 2020, 12:48:38 AM
Received a message from Frank that he is going to be releasing more coins and plans on having them out either this weekend or early next week.  Just thought Id give an update about that.

Thank you. Do you know where he will be selling his coins besides on his website?
His website does not take paypal.

If it is the same as the previous ones, it was via his website only. I believe if you have the PayPal debit/Mastercard you could still use PayPal.
5990  Other / Archival / Re: Tangem Bit BTC wallets on: September 30, 2020, 09:27:22 PM
Place me in for 2 as well...cheers

ha! that goes the 4 extras I am getting already. If this keeps up, I will need to order more.

The cards were $7 ea plus shipping - if in the US that should be no more than a few dollars. I could go with a standard envelope but I don't trust the post office not to fold it. so it would go in a cardboard reinforced envelope to be safe but that's between $3 to $5 anywhere in the US.

If I order more, it does get cheaper. Let's see how many want singles/doubles (less than 5 basically)
5991  Other / Archival / Re: Tangem Bit BTC wallets on: September 30, 2020, 09:02:54 PM
I'll gladly buy two singles from you if you want to get rid of them. Wink

I can do that! I will let you know when they arrive - I currently have 7 different cards on order from them that I am waiting for, ADA, XTZ and the 5 "Bit" cards.

heck - I should have just gotten the 50 cards for $125 and had em on hand for anyone that only wants a single or two - smh

maybe after I get these, I will do just that Smiley

Received a message from Frank that he is going to be releasing more coins and plans on having them out either this weekend or early next week.  So that I give an update about that.

I also want to apologize, I think I may have promised someone I would get some coins for them from this last batch but after having a bunch of missing coins and dealing with that I forgot to reach out to whoever that was.  I know I spoke with someone about that but can't seem to find the message now. So apologies, but now you'll be able to get some from the source soon.

that might have been hookzup1 - he was having problems with the site and early on you offered to assist - if I recall. You and I had both offered to assist him. I think I just happened to help him first and was able to get assist him with his order of 10 coins.

Can i pay you to order me some lol i could not make it through the checkout

I got you brother. Shoot me a DM on how many you want.

I also got a message from Frank - he will be sending me 5 coins with matching numbers to the 5 I initially received.

These should be coins with a matte finish.

mine was horizontal and after a few weeks it just broke - nothing was touching it, it was just sitting on a table with nothing around it.

Again thats impossible. These are reinforced USB ports that solder directly onto the board with two anchors. You would have to take pliers to it to yank it off. Im sure someone in your household bumped into it and was too scared to tell you  Grin

If you want just mail it in and ill fix it for you

You can say that but I can attest to how it was positioned - there is no possibility of someone bumping it where it was placed. The laptop it was connected to sits on a table where the usb stick hung over the table that the laptop rests upon so it was not as if it was hanging out into open space where it could be run into accidentally or intentionally.

would it have mattered which way was facing up? ie fan on the underside or topside? in my case it hung with the fan on the underside.

Nope, moonlander weights 50 grams, would take at least a pound of force to even begin to bend it. You can even tell in your picture that the metal tab that holds it in place was sheered off (ie it was not a bad solder where the tab was not even soldered in place), this would take an incredible amount of force to do, and most likely was a blunt force from the side to make the metal tear off like that.

well i can still validate and promise that no one bumped it. the  "table" it rests upon is 5 feet off the ground and is not anywhere someone could bump it other than myself.

That all being said - it was given to me - I was not the original purchaser and when I received it the usb portion was - wobbly - not sure if that is the best word - it would rock side to side a couple of degrees. So, perhaps it was already damaged.

I would welcome a repair if you are still willing to do so knowing that I got it used. If so - where would I send it to?

So have you tried resoldering it back on?

No - I still need to buy a replacement piece.

I am no shill for free-wallet nor do I claim to know anything about their legitimacy but I did use minergate a few years back and that did end up with me using freewallet.org app on my phone for the transactions on minergate for mining rewards.

Even if your account is in good standing with Freewallet you must consider all those people they scammed, freewallet is a scam exchange no need to defend it even if they have not yet scam you but you will become a target soon, scammers are a scammers they have a criminal mind just check the so many scam accusations, no way they can regain their reputation.

agreed - I am in no way defending them - only sharing my experience. I count myself lucky to not have lost anything.
5998  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam alert, do not use freewallet.org on: September 30, 2020, 01:00:21 PM
I have never had any issues or lost any funds to freewallet.

you evil and old
what your 10 grandchildren will think about you if they know you evil?
how much freewallet paid you?
your soul is rotten

haha you are funny, you must be someone's alt to know how many grandchildren I have but you are not up to date, I have 12 now.

I am also curious as to why my post has any inclination of evil?

I can post all my txns with free wallet here - with txn ids and time on the block explorers, all the txns would be easy to confirm if one wanted to take that much time.

And thank you for the concern about my soul, but my soul is fine and is not rotten in any way.

also freewallet paid me nothing. I have never been paid for  any companies products to date.

I used the wallet from Jan 2018 with last transaction being June of 2020.

I have sent/withdrawn the following currencies: BCC, BCHSV,  BTC, DOGE, ETH, LTC, XDN, XMO, XMR

I have had nothing go awry outside of an issue where their mobile app does not show the same balances/currencies as their website does.

I never put large vast sums in it - I simply used minergate to test gpu/cpu and an asic once or twice.

other than that issue of mismatch between app and site, I have never had any issues or lost any funds to freewallet.
