601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding Ended - 29.94BTC Raised on: January 28, 2016, 05:24:57 PM
I submitted a request to be listed on Cryptopia - there is a voting section and it only applies to one coin per month - however there is a way to get instantly approved and my calculations say it will be approximately (1) btc.  I will let you know when I get a response.

I will not pay for exchange listings. But thanks for doing that awesome work!

NP - I understand - We can just do a community vote if they accept us.

An emotional bit, just because.

I find it really refreshing that you all joined in. It's great to see that it's possible to have projects developed with a strong community. We have generated a great momentum and ended up with a BTC fund that will allow further development. Thank you all for believing in me, I am ecstatic. I am so looking forward to this journey, and I can surely say you won't be disappointed. I'll be giving all I have to make WARP a truly innovative and useful cryptocurrency. Like someone said to me: "Let's make things simple for the end user". This sums up what I believe in.

Once a market exists, you can expect this thread to be filled with negative people. They will do anything to cause you doubts. Please stay strong. In doubt, contact me directly for advice, or join the community in the slack channel. I will treat all the WARP angels with great honesty and respect. I'm full on with WARP. Not everything is up to me, I also count on all of you, in the same way you have trusted me so far. We can have a brilliant future.

Let's turn crypto around. It's WARP time.

Shapetwist - Congratulations on a wonderfully executed plan.  A few concerns I have may want to be considered.  Since the coin is not POW and only 1% per year interest stake - I do not leave my wallet open 24/7 (for security purposes).  How do we make sure that the blockchain does not stagnate or stop?  Meaning - if I have to leave my wallet unlocked for staking purposes (24) hrs a day for 1% - isn't it more secure to open your wallet for staking once or twice a month for a day or two?  Now if the answer to that is yes, how do we make sure that blockchain keeps moving?  Maybe some sort of masternode system with limited collateral required to start a mn?  Or maybe hybrid pow/pos mode like Diamondcoin?  Just wondering if you think it is a problem?  Sorry if my message is jumbled but I think you get the idea.

Your have to open the port on your firewall, then your masternode will report cannot find coins.
Go to your local wallet and start the masternode.

Hrmm - problem with starting mn's.  I had to update windows and reboot my machine and now my masternodes say they can not start?  I have unlocked the wallet and type masternode start but I get a message saying there is no suitable masternode?  Is there a command or feature I am missing?  Should I always shut down a wallet manually or is it ok to let windows shut it down?  Please advise.  Thanks - pokeytex

Did you try the below commands?

masternode start-alias
masternode start-many

I have individual mn's still - not running from a controller wallet.  I keep getting this message "not capable masternode: Could not connect to 71.59.104.158:17170" - my mn's still show up on the blockexplorer - my are from Toms River.

The ports are opened.  I updated my computer and the machine was restarted.  When I went to bring the mn's back up I keep getting "not capable masternode: Could not connect to 71.59.104.158:17170".  I think I will release the IP and start with a new one.

There are many 750ti cards. with different clocks.

Download release 78 and write

ccminer -a blakecoin --benchmark

Then you will see.. I just tested the tvpruvot release and it was slower on all cards.

https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/

Yeah xCore modified it last night so we had a faster version with the Vanillacoin fork.  I am not sure how he did it.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: January 27, 2016, 10:57:39 PM

Hrmmm- I am getting over 900mh/s on tpruvots versions 750ti, 2.6 gh/s 970, 1.7 gh/s on 960 - modded last night by xCore.  I believe he added a file to your version.  Was hoping for faster than that!

Than again i am not a programmer so I don't know who's version is who's lol.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: January 27, 2016, 10:34:31 PM

When will the presale coins be distributed? Tomorrow as well?

Regards
Goldmaxx

Yes. Tomorrow at 12:00 CET the sale ends. I have to make sure I change the website so nobody can send coins anymore.
Then I will cross check the database with the actual blockchain records to make sure every transaction is correct.

I'd say about one hour after the sale ends, first coins will start to flow. I have a lot of transactions to make, so please be patient.

@shapetwist - so 12:00 CET is actually 6:00 AM Est correct?
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: January 27, 2016, 06:45:26 PM
ok I added it now. You have to build yourself..

The gtx 970 is doing 2.3GHASH
Run with -a vanilla

Thank you - what is the software used to build from source again?

Android Wallet Cool

This is complete and will be released tonight or tomorrow, the developer just needs payment (which is handled). Once he confirms receipt the wallet will be available on the Google Play Store. The Android wallet will have a lot of the same features the desktop clients have, I think everyone will be really impressed. Check the thread for updates.

Trezor Giveaway Cool

I updated the page with the below information. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1203975.msg13630591#msg13630591)

Updating 3: MarioCorleone will not be able to do the randomizing script. Life issue came up, and that is all I am willing to say. I am vague because it is personal and not my issue to share.
Adding 3 a: Does this affect the timeline? No. A stated we have some great devs and we will get a script written or find another method. As presented in 2: It will still be fair and judged and tested by the community.

New Wallet Testing Wink

Looking to release the new wallets between February 1st - February 3rd. They will be release in the usual order. Windows, Linux, Mac.

I am currently testing the Windows client with infernoman. Details below.  Grin

He has added an Add/Edit Transfer Node. This will be much easier to setup masternodes and you should not have to restart the wallet. Pic: https://i.imgur.com/rdDGjW9.png

Infernoman has also added Dynamic DNS support. This will allow people with non-static IP's be able to create masternodes much easier. Since most home ISP's either don't offer static IP's or offer at a ridiculous rate. This will help people out a lot.

He also added some performance increase for wallets with large number of transactions, this will also help re-indexing for wallets with a large amount of transactions.

Also added was an increase the maxorphanblocks variable. This is now set to 10,000. This helps with sync time tremendously, as you might have seen in this thread and IRC.

Wallet-Cosmetic Updates Cheesy

The trading tab and block explorer pages all expand correctly. Some Pics below.

Multisig Wallet Site Released. Grin

Multisig site is up for creating and broadcasting transactions. Direction are on the site for what you need to do. As always you can ask in the thread or IRC for any assistance. I tested this out with him so i have a little knowledge on how to use it. This site is built on the opensource platform Coinb.in, Github Link is here https://github.com/OutCast3k/coinbin/.

http://transfer.infernopool.com/

If i missed anything Infernoman will have me update this and i will mark the update accordingly. It's late so if i have some misspelling, be easy on me.  Tongue

I would like to thank Infernoman for all of his work, he has been tremendous. I also want to thank the community for everything you have done thus far to help this project grow. Getting the word out on twitter has been great. I believe 2016 is going to be great for Transfercoin.  Lets continue to get the word out chat people up and let them know how we are doing.

Thank You,

wigitgetit (BCT, IRC, TWitter)

Psyched about Dynamic DNS!  I can now have a static IP! EUREKA! Thank you!

Hey guys just a quite update for the android wallet. We did end up getting a build made, But had a few issues and we are working on some updates for the UI on the android wallet to make sure everything is working correctly. Once I'm happy with the money spent I'll make sure the build gets released ASAP. I wasn't taking into account the problems that we ran into. But rest assured it should be released sometime today still Wink

@infernoman - Awesome communication and work on Transfercoin.  I will be creating another (2) mn's this weekend!  Grin

SP will you be incorporating the new vanilla blake algo into ccminer?  If so, when?

Blake is already included. ccminer -a blake --benchmark or ccminer -a blakecoin --benchmark

No - they have modified the file somehow to be vanilla-blake.

xCore - ccminer GTX9xx/750 (based on last sp-hash's github): https://talk.vanillacoin.net/uploads/files/tools/ccminer-1.7.1-blake256-standard-uncompressed-sp.zip
