hi, someone make video how to forge ?  Smiley

Do this exactly:

1) have 1000 or more XCR in your wallet/node.

2) open the windows Crypti wallet/node

3) Now you see the account log in.  In the upper right corner is a box "forging panel".  Click on that and it takes you to the forging tab.

4) enter your passphrase for the wallet/node having 1000 or more XCR  Use CTRL-V to paste your passphrase if necessary.  Copy/PASTE may not work for everyboby.

5) If successful, the log in box will indicate forging has started. You will also see FORGING ENABLED in the forging tab

6) NOW, you can log in to the account to see your wallet/node balance and the blockchain.

7) you log out of forging  by using your passphrase in the forging panel box.  If you do not log out manually in the forging panel, forging will restart automatically when you restart the Cryptiwallet next time

You can save your passphrase in the config.json file under " password".  Edit it in Notepad.

Works good on Windows 10!  Grin

DO you have the green text "Forging enabled" showing on the ACCOUNT page?

No, only on the "Forging" page.

Yea, sorry... the Forging page.   If so, you are forging.  You must stop the forging manually by entering your passphrase.  If you close the window with the "X", you will still be logged in to the forging.

Guys, I think this is a good buying opportunity. 8 btc of XCR just snapped up.  Obviously, someone is buying in at the low.

I see 111 BTC worth of XCR purchased below 1000 satoshi.  Someone sees XCR as a good buy.

The action is all on Bter.  There is only 2 sales on Cryptsy yesterday.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypti | XCR | Ͼ | 3 PoS algorithms | Ed25519 | 2nd Gen Source on: October 10, 2014, 02:26:36 PM

Will this mean that the Windows Wallet will also be released with the new versions? I apologize, if this was answered previously, but I was away for a while, hence I may have not seen your post if this was answered.

As for the designer, please let us know as soon as possible! Smiley

The windows wallet is the node for the new node protocol that first has to be running on the exchanges.  The previous versions will not work with the new protocol.  Linux will undoubtedly come out first, as this is the wallet node used on the exchanges.

As for the communication, it is an ongoing problem in every IT venture.  Coders, by their very nature, tend to be independent loner types.  They stick to their work with such a dedication, that getting a status report is like pulling a tooth.

Seems they always want to get just a little bit more done before making a status report, but instead of making a status report, they try to get a little more done.  I have often heard "Status updates slow me down and take time away from my work"

I am online most of the day, and will respond to responsible posts with whatever information I have that can be publicly released.  I will even respond to the adolescent trolls with my usual sarcasm.

Where is the dev?

log wallet > blockchain to see

They work hard, always darkest before dawn.

Calm down brother, this is a nice long term  Smiley

You can see the blockchain thru the online wallet.

can you securely forge in web wallet?

The term "WALLET" is not correct for a node coin like XCR.  Here is an explanation from the devs:

Wallet- the UI for the node

Node- a connecting point in the crypti network

Sync- the node getting info from the other nodes and adding it to the blockchain.db

Loading- the node retrieving the info from the blockchain.db

Downloading- is like syncing but done separate from the node, Download can happen with out node running.. Sync needs the node running...

So the windows wallet is a packaged launch... It launches and starts the node and also launches the wallet... Same with closing the wallet... It closes both the node and wallet... So everytime you open the wallet it must load... This is because it also launches the node... And everytime the node is launched it must load (retrieve info from blockchain.db) unless you don't have a blockchain.db file... Then launching the wallet/node... Will let you go in to the UI (wallet) and watch it sync... You can also watch the wallet sync if you don't have all the whole up to date blockchain.db... So if you only have half the blockchain.db file you will watch the wallet/node load the half you already have... Then you can log in and watch it sync the rest... I hope this helps clear things up.....

You cannot place your XCR in cold storage on a SD card, they will always exist in the blockchain.

That may sound bad, but with Cryptsy, all transactions are verified and known.  There are no anonymous transactions.  If coins were stolen, they can be traced thru the blockchain.  Your security is your password, make it long and prosper.

how can I forge this? Downloadable versions seem to be outdated / not working.

The node programing was rewritten to remove bugs as  outlined by GreXX on page 393.  New wallet/nodes will be ready for download as soon as testing is complete, which should be shortly.

I love how you come here to troll but then still don't understand how our system works after a month of trolling. How about you take 5 minutes to read up. Everyone was forging previously and could see how the network was forging. Right now you could go take the nodes running and monitor them over a period of time, see which ones are forging, do some simple analysis and get your answer.
There is nothing to understand. No algo, no code.  Sad
Read what?  Shocked Your unproven declarations? And believe you without any possibility to check?  Grin

How now i can connect to running nodes and monitor them?  Roll Eyes

wallet.crypti.me
after login  to the wallet/node, go to blockchain

How can i know which node forged a block?  Roll Eyes

Here is 4 lines from the blockchain at crypti.me/blockchain

the green highlighted text is the same node that forged two blocks.

What "simple" analysis can be made without knowing this answers? Embarrassed

You have the answers....... make your analysis

With Cryptsi, any wallet/node of 1000 or more coins is equal for purposes of forging.  Thus XCR can be purchased and traded without fear of losing forging income.
This is only fantasy, there is no proof.  Roll Eyes
Yes, with 1000XCR Ctypti client will show you that you are "forging", but without published and checked math of forging algo you cannot determine your chance to forge a block  Cry
BTW, how much 1000 coins help you forge right now? Grin

At this EXACT MOMENT IN TIME you can only forge with the foundation node on the web site.  But as soon as the new wallet/node is released, you will have the same chance at a forge as any other node.

The blockchain shows you which node forged a block.

Has anyone here heard of NXT's Automated Transactions, which is launching on the NXT TestNet on 15 October : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463731.0 / https://nxtforum.org/automated-transactions/information-of-the-at-project/msg113168/#msg113168?

A quote from their wiki as to what NXT's Automated Transactions is :

Quote
A turing-complete scripting layer that can operate on top of the Nxt blockchain. "Turing-complete" is a term that means the scripting language is not limited in scope and can compute anything. This Nxt application will allow for the creation of Distributed Autonomous Corporations (DACs) that can issue transactions automatically, based on a set of rules.

In short it's NXT's equivalent to Crypti's Custom Blockchains Support. The concept is very similar, however I believe the way in which the process is carried out is far different in NXT, then what has been described about Crypti's Custom Blockchains Support, devs correct me if I'm wrong here.

Anyway, I own both NXT & Crypti, so it will be a good contest between the two to see which gets more developer support and use.

The biggest difference for the public, is that with NXT, the more you own and keep in your wallet, the more you earn forging blocks.  That discourages NXT hoarders from spending their coins.

With Cryptsi, any wallet/node of 1000 or more coins is equal for purposes of forging.  Thus XCR can be purchased and traded without fear of losing forging income.

Just so everyone knows, we will be doing everything we can to get in touch with Mintpal today. Everything appears to have gone smoothly with the BTER roll out, funds that were hung up are now all processed as far as we know, and everything looks to be running as intended. That means we can now try to work with mintpal to implement the new version of the software and get the ball rolling there. I will keep you updated in regards to our progress. We are hoping to have it up and trading this evening if at all possible.

Can we just forget Mintpal?
V2 is pathetic full of bugs, logins input box are not styled misaligned, built over $21 theme I could go on very unprofessional.
Guys hitbtc/btc-e are the exchanges to be in. If you agree continue voting.
As far as i'm concerned there wont be volume on Mintpal anytime soon.
Mintpal v2 is bull-shit, I am serious. Wink The bugs, the balance list is hard to use, even the volume calculation is wrong,Wtf. I can not trust an exchange like this.Even mintpal v1 is much better than v2 shit.

Yeah Mintpal sux, but I am all for getting listed on as many exchanges as possible, so that we don't have such high % of all coins at BTER and forgers get trans fees and people can arbitrage / trade on their fav exchange etc.

but long term yea hitbtc + btc-e, I vote for HITBTC everyday and BTC-e in the future maybe Crypti being russian can work some wonders.
Voting on HITBTC = coints as 1 on unregistered Account 10 for registered every 24 hours.

CTRL + F write XCR in https://hitbtc.com/vote

Maybe can include that in OP devs.

It may seem demorilizing to vote when Crypti has 679 votes but we are a growing community, and the rest of the voting examples has been up there for months.
One vote a day takes 10 seconds.   Smiley

Other Coins I used to mine eventually made their way to MintPal.  The bloggers warned that "MintPal is where coins go to die"..... well it turned out that way for most of them.  Now Moolah may find out that 'MintPal is where companies go to die" as well.

They must be using interns and new grads to write their software and handle the 24 hour migration that took 6 days and is still not right.  My JPC coins that I mined during the shutdown are still not showing, nor are my BTC from before the change over.

Is there a newer version than 0.1.6c? As far as I can tell that's the same one that has been out.

~informer

Windows or Linux?

There were several changes to the Windows c version without renaming it.  Now it is obsolete and will not work.

Not yet.... MintPal isnt even all up.  I have 100,000 JPC coins there that now dont show on the exchange.

When will the workable wallet be released? I need to transfer XCR to Cryptsy and Mintpal

You do not need a "wallet" to transfer XCR from Bter to Cryptsy or MintPal.  Get an address from Cryptsy and you can send it drectly there ffrom Bter.

The term "WALLET" is not correct for a node coin like XCR.  Here is an explanation from the devs:

Just wanted to help get us all on the same page with terms when it comes to nodes/wallets...
