601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: July 16, 2023, 06:31:02 PM
If there's a meme coin, I'd rather go with the OG of meme coins and that's none other than Doge.

It was the undefeated meme coin and the father of them all. Talking about its future, it's just like flowing with whatever is the trend. I believe that many of these meme coins will die while Doge will remain existing.

Those that are hooked with these meme coins, don't get serious with it because it's possible that the craze of it won't happen again.
How can they get the future? we know that meme coins have no useful utility for technological developments on cryptocurrencies they are just entertainment coins, and most of them are pump-pump coins, there is no future relying on the movement of influencers, I don't know why you think either that DOGE can go that far, but if we say there is or not it will definitely be in the market, but we don't know if the price will be worse or not.
The meme coin hype has passed, and there is no reason for meme coins to experience a significant increase again, we have to be really careful if we want to play on this meme coin.
Why I think that Dogecoin will go that far?

It's the most beloved of the community ever since the pop up of these meme coins. Maybe you haven't seen Dogecoin in the past, it's a fun coin that everybody loves.

But maybe, not you and you haven't really seen its existence even before. The majority of these meme coins will be gone but Doge will stay.

PS: I don't hold Dogecoin.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: July 15, 2023, 01:55:38 PM
there are only a few meme coin that have a future, because not all meme coin will be successful, therefore if you really want to invest in meme coin, then you have to choose meme coin that are very popular and hype, such as DOGE, SHIB, FLOKI and PEPE, even though investing in meme coin is very high risk, but at least DOGE, SHIB, FLOKI and PEPE have a high popularity and volume trading, so it is still possible for the price to increase and give you profit.

603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: July 15, 2023, 10:00:34 AM
Risk Tolerance :
Define your trading goals it,s may be short-term or may be long-term gain. If you prefer actively managing trading by market news then the shot trade is the best option for you. Profit and loss depend on the risk high risk may give you a high gain or high loss but a good strategy cover it deeply.
Beginners won't understand this too early. What they need to have is to have more experience and gain more knowledge through it and then this will be learned.

This also includes the amount that they want to trade and to start with because not everyone starts big already and that's the entire process that a beginner should go through.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still trust wBTC? Wrapped Bitcoin on: July 14, 2023, 11:58:28 PM
Fortunately, I don't own wBTC and I don't intend to own one. I'll choose BTC, the OG Bitcoin than of wrapped Bitcoins.

I'll never buy it using my bitcoin or any altcoins that I own. But if someone's gonna give it for free, that's a different story.

I advise you to get rid of this token quickly.
Right, it's only a matter of time until we see these wrapped tokens collapse and depeg.
605  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins asking to verify account on: July 14, 2023, 05:29:35 PM
I am not sure if that's the official no reply email of theirs but this is what I've found that's related to that domain email.

Investment scam : no-reply@localbitcoins.com
Fraudulent email   no-reply@localbitcoins.com

Scammed no-reply@localbitcoins.management

Much better not to click with any attachment from that email. There are actually more results if you're going to search about that email that messaged you.

606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 14, 2023, 03:57:02 PM
That's a good advice for newbies because many of them forgets that they need to know what they're up to and what they're investing.

They need to know and at least have the idea on what type of market is this. It can be as lovely as it seems like what we're seeing but it can also be as bloody as it can get.

So, it's not always what they see from the people that are bragging their profits for being in here.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 13, 2023, 05:34:42 PM
While there's still balance on this, there really are products that don't require marketing because it has got a niche of its customers that they're specifically target.

And it's not a question that there are marketing that do help a lot to their products especially those that have nothing to start with. No known people from the background and they're unknown people entering the market.

I do agree that marketing is like an investment. Take it as an example from those people that I'm observing in the ecom, they do take a lot of budgeting for their marketing.

(....)
How can we better identify them?  I hope everyone can make suggestions so that more people can learn from experience
You don't have to go that far on this one.

Buy Bitcoin, its network is secured and you don't have to wonder why people are always suggesting it to have. It's simple because it's the top and if you're looking for a security, check its history.
Nothing wrong with altcoins, I believe. It's just a simple high risk: high reward.
That's why people are very tempted to invest in random altcoins rather than Bitcoin because of the reward, which this reward is extremely high, there are a lot of altcoins that can be examples of this.
Yes, it's common to see altcoins and everyone do understand that it's a high risk - high reward type of investment. But if OP is for the security whether it's with its network and as an asset per se, Bitcoin is top notch and everyone knows that.

what @hugeblack said above me is a good strategy when investing in altcoins, identify the risks of each altcoin you want to invest and allocate a specific amount for that, don't go all in.
I agree of not going all in on it.

I've got mistake in the past that I've decided to go all in for a few projects and altcoins that I thought will rise in the future. But that didn't happened so a mistake that I'm learning and applying the lesson to myself now.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a digital currency with higher security? on: July 13, 2023, 12:08:25 AM
New currencies and new projects emerge in an endless stream every day, most of which are deceptive and make investors miserable.
You're right and that's why majority of them are just like an addition to the market without having any contribution because all of them are made to be nothing.

How can we better identify them?  I hope everyone can make suggestions so that more people can learn from experience

610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $120k next year - by Robert Kiyosaki on: July 12, 2023, 03:50:56 PM
Robert is a known bull to Bitcoin and that's why every prediction that he gives is going to be positive. Like I'm all in with that and halving is going to happen next year.

We even thought that $100k was about to happen on the last bull run but it fell shortly. We don't know how huge is going to be the next bull run after the halving so, it's only a difference of time when.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things that influence our trading decisions on: July 12, 2023, 02:39:33 PM
I believe that the more experienced a trader is, the better the trader's emotional control will be. as well as their skills and knowledge regarding trading strategies and techniques.
That is for sure because they've got various experiences that have taught them on how to be better in trading. And those mistakes that they've experienced before, they've learned from it and lessening a scenario from it to happen again.

everything cannot be learned instantly by novice traders and then become professionals. those who are currently professional traders also need quite a long time to be truly said to be experts in trading.
There goes a long process and overhaul for those newbies that want to become an expert in trading. Even if you're not aiming to be an expert but just someone who knows the market well.

There is no shortcut in trading and you'll have to endure every pain and disappointment with the losses that's ahead of you.
612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 12, 2023, 02:03:10 AM
If you have no idea what to choose, learn first and start from the beginning of learning how to trade or using bots. If the choice is copy trading, I don't recommend that honestly.

You're like begging for someone's hand just for you to profit and you're unsure if that money you'll be investing there will be profitable and much worse, will lead you to losses.

Using a bot is fine, and there's nothing wrong with that whether you've bought it or using a free version. But the usage of it will depend on you, it's not gonna guarantee you profit just because you're using it.

And you have bitcoin and you're willing to trade it? That's a huge capital but it's yours and try with small amounts first.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 12, 2023, 12:20:48 AM
Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.
Having the idea about gambling is suffice for you to start or not to start gambling. No explanations needed coming from anyone if you wanna have fun and try to gamble.

Being managed by asset managers with the money that's being entrusted to them is their job. But a gambler is different from that where you're the one to play on your own, yes, you are on your own.

It doesn't have to be like you're gonna hire someone to gamble for you, you're likely to get scammed if that's the case.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Were you a bitcoin sign guy? The bitcoiner that photobombed the FED in 2017 on: July 11, 2023, 05:05:22 PM
I remember that guy and didn't know that he has received a bunch of bitcoins with that act he did, and that's telecast on national TV IIRC. We can say that's a brave action from him and became a meme in the community.

Such a noble act from that guy and with that small gesture, I wonder how many people did followed when they saw him with that sign.

Also, I remember that it's being worn as an avatar by pooya before. Good old days.

615  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: July 10, 2023, 11:35:59 PM
Do you think Threads will be a serious competitor of Twitter? People are eager to try new apps but also some old habits don't change easily.
I feel like Twitter was a dying place way before Threads and now they have to compete with them.
I think so.

But not until Twitter has got something to show and offer to its users. I've got a lot of my friends on my socials that did tried as soon as the announcement of Threads came.

Anyway, not me. I'm not into it and I'm too lazy to make new socials just as Threads. I do see the new opportunity for being one of the early sign ups there but just too lazy about it.

Maybe the real fight between Musk and Zuckerberg is this one.
Honestly, I think that they're capitalizing their bout into introduction for something like this and Mark did already done his counterpart. Maybe Elon has got one too but who knows.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $20,000 to invest in any Altcoins of your choice? on: July 10, 2023, 10:29:33 PM
Can you please help with any Altcoins that coins that someone can invest on in this particular time.
The list is long, visit: coinmarketcap or coingecko and then try to look to each of them. It will be looking like a shilling to you if somebody suggests a coin to buy.

But, I'll give you a hint on what altcoins I am holding as of the moment. They're next to Bitcoin and that means that part of the top ones are the ones that I am holding.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Wallet. on: July 10, 2023, 07:19:04 PM
When I've ordered a hardware wallet, customs didn't asked nor call me but it varies per country. Safepal from what I've heard has got good reviews.

So, we have different hardware wallets but that's okay because we're all having the same thoughts to keep our assets safe through storing it there.

Those folks and members of the forum that has a growing portfolio and still don't own a hardware wallet, it's now time for you guys to consider owning one.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 09, 2023, 07:52:09 PM
May or may not, Since I don't really understand what they are doing themselves, we can simply expect the result to reevaluate it.
To me, the move between Musk and Mark brings an exciting atmosphere to different fields, even in the media itself people are starting to split.
They're popular already but I don't think they'll be spending this much time all for nothing.

The level of influence of the two is unquestionable, there are news I see around this match that not only people's interest in billionaires but actually their interest in the fields. both have also increased, like a side effect of stimulants when people use and many problems going around.
I think do get it now and there's this benefit for the both of them. Recently, Mark just launched his new app which is called Threads. And that's a good entry and timely advertisement for him to get the attention of everybody.

Let's see what's with Elon next.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 09, 2023, 06:51:47 PM
Bitcoin hodling is something almost everyone on this forum is eager to partake in or already partaking in.
However I did some research and discovered most forum members do a lot of Bitcoin transaction, and sometimes leaves them with little or no hodlings in their wallets. Of course Some on the other hand have most of their Bitcoins as hodlings in their wallets  although they still transact with Bitcoins . Holding Bitcoin is a choice however for those that have Bitcoin holdings how do you manage to minimize Bitcoin transactions to increase your hodlings.
Maybe you're seeing their other wallet address doing transactions and that's also a common thing for everyone to do. We do transactions as that's really what bitcoin is made for.

It is for everyone to do transactions.

Though hodling Bitcoins can be tempting to transact with sometimes
If you're in need and you've got no choice but to transact or sell, you have to do it.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: look, look, what's this on: July 09, 2023, 02:13:26 PM
Some people say that the network signal is not good when you are away from home. If there are currencies that are traded offline, that would be great, and maybe there will be large-scale application scenarios for digital currencies! What do you think?
That's possible in the future or if there's already one that's existing, I don't know. I think with radio waves, bluetooth and other type of connection that don't require internet connection, it's going to be possible with some wallets.

But for now, we're in need of internet to have that type of transactions in cryptocurrencies. It's an interesting project if there's one, AFAIK with Bitcoin there has been something like this that I've read before.

Although I have no idea what happened to it right now.
