602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: December 01, 2023, 09:59:57 AM
It is not accurate and I do not think that a lot of AI available for public use are updated in terms of information so I do not think that they will be able to help you in anyway in your betting strategies, maybe you can get some sort of insight to help you but it is probably not that reliable even if say we were to talk about player analysis, this one is more difficult because you are not sure of the condition of the player at that time and you might only get just a general analysis on the players at best but that is not going to help you.
603  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: December 01, 2023, 09:16:51 AM
Are these listed crypto casinos and websites a safe one though? Because a lot of scam casinos are not also offering KYC but at the end, they hold the funds of the people that are playing in their casinos and claim that they did not comply with KYC or that they found the withdrawal suspicious so I have to ask that one, I hope you don't mind OP.
604  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: December 01, 2023, 08:27:11 AM
Lol! Good initiative by the people, but I feel that such parades do very little to help out of control gamblers fight their addictions. What truly matters the most is inner willpower in these cases.

The ones that posess strong willpower can overcome their gambling addiction while the ones with weak willpower will probably never overcome this issue.
Rehabilitation works both ways, if other people don't offer to help these people even if they are willing to get help then their recovery and rehabilitation either won't speed up or won't be effective causing them to relapse. Of course it should be that recovery should be more on the person's willingness to recover but we should be helping these people even if we think that they don't deserve it or that they are going to go back to their addiction, everyone in the society should help each other in any way that we can, the people are the foundation of a society right?
605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 01, 2023, 06:56:55 AM

On the other side of that coin, the casino would argue that the user had agreed to the terms of service upon signing up, and within that terms of services were the clauses that stated the information about KYC.

It would be interesting to see a case due to the conflict of your opinion and mine here. I think that with the financial and legal powers that casinos have, they would prevail. Or, they would be forced to give the balance back due to the unawareness, but only after putting the claimant under the pressure of a long battle.
I would agree with you but the casino needs to be covering their bases because if the users that would take them to court, they would probably argue that they were not reminded or that the casino probably added the KYC clause on the Terms and Condition agreement after they have registered which is not a likely thing for them to do. There is probably a case similar to this already in existence because this kind of case happening could happen in other scenarios although it is probably different in a way that this is gambling because this could be argued like a breach in contract.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: November 30, 2023, 11:56:13 AM
I don’t think this is the right mindset for a gambler because to me everyone is lucky but maybe the days aren’t just the same and irrespective of your occupation, either gambling or not, what truly matters is that we have a tactics we are following and as a gambler, having our own strategy and also knowing when to stop is key and I also understand that gambling in most cases is luck base but I don’t agree that gambling is only for the rich and also I want to point out that gambling is risky and betting on odds isn’t even a safe way to stay profitable because on several occasions we’ve seen small odds losing games to bigger odds.
If everyone is lucky, no gambling or betting sites and businesses would last long because everyone just keeps getting the wins because everyone is "lucky", as much as we want to give people the slack, we just have to accept the fact that luck is not something that we should take for granted because by definition it is implied that not everyone can get that luck but I do side with you that what OP is saying a not the right mindset but not because of what you say. Gambling is all about risk and fun but sometimes in some cases, it is also about strategy.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: November 30, 2023, 09:35:39 AM
I have no regrets with what I have spent my bitcoin with, the stuff and experience that I have acquired thanks to bitcoin is such an appreciation for me so I do not have any regrets about my spendings, the people that I have met and the experience I have shared with them is something I will be grateful. Money can always be earned and I can always buy bitcoin so I have no worries. In fact I am happy because all the bitcoins I have sold, I can still remember where I have spent it. I guess I am living more to what Satoshi envisioned on how to use bitcoin more than anyone but that is just me.

609  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 06:18:54 AM
You have to understand that not all bad or criminally minded people knows about bitcoin since they have only worked stealing or sticking up people that have fiat in them so I do not think that you are going to be in any danger wearing that, you are not flaunting your wealth in any way just because you are wearing a bitcoin themed tshirt and if you are really that worried about your well-being then your problem is you are probably living in an area that has a really high crime rate so maybe it is not your outfit that is attracting this type of stuff so go on and where what you want, you are spreading the gospel of bitcoin and you are comfortable with what you are wearing.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 30, 2023, 05:26:20 AM
I do not exactly know how you will be able to do that but I do not think that it is an easy thing to do because you are going to be targeting a lot of infrastructures that are although organized, is totally decentralized that they are not even connected to some way I think that is how the infrastructure of bitcoin is made. Also, if there was a way for bitcoin to be shutdown, it should have been done a long time ago by a lot of hackers already but so far, bitcoin is standing strong and no kinds of attacks has ever been done that compromised the whole network. But say if you are right that there is a person that was able to do just that, I think that the price would probably do a deep dive and people are probably going to be selling as quickly as possible given that the once impregnable bitcoin becomes compromised, a lot of people will be scared hell they might not be even be able to panic sell at all since a shutdown means that even the network stops functioning.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer wins seem too good on: November 29, 2023, 11:57:45 AM
Streaming is one of the ways casinos promote their businesses just like any other business and yea! Most of these streamers are actually being paid by these casinos. They play very 'magical' games and go home with very huge wins , thereby convincing the gullible public into playing these games with the hope to win too of which luck doesn't always shine on the public just like it shines on the streamers' sides.
That is why I find these streamers especially the big ones to be deplorable and at worse downright money hungry because they promote gambling in their big platform where there are a lot of people that might be influenced and there is probably children watching their streams. Although some of the streamers I have seen already learned to do disclaimers about what they are doing but even still, I still find it weird that they do it, probably because the money offered is just too damn expensive for them to pass up. Regarding their wins, they are probably playing at a different version of the casino where only the streamers are allowed so they can do unbelievable wins that a normal player might not be able to do.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: November 29, 2023, 09:47:25 AM
as the title suggests, gambling is not always about luck, sometimes you also need emotional control, strategy and good analysis in gambling in order to achieve maximum results. because even though luck is the key to successful gambling, there are still several other factors that are needed by gamblers so that they can become successful gamblers and not be careless. even though it is quite complex to explain this, i am sure that gambling is not always about luck.
Exactly, luck is something that no one can control and so we should not rely on it even if we believe in it, improving and relying on the stuff that you can control like the ones that you have mentioned is what anyone should be focusing if they want to be competent and get a lot of fun out of their gambling journey and experience. I do think that gambling is about luck but it is also about going against it and trying your own luck.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: November 29, 2023, 09:09:33 AM
I agree with you because we can't not fully depend on gambling for life lead. Gambling is not the platform which gives you the stable earning opportunity. Gambling helps you to earn a gambler earn huge amount of money but when he faces loss it's also huge amount. Life of gambler isn't easy. Especially the economical side. If you are fully depend on gambling it's your foolishness. Earn from gamble and start something own that will more benificiant.
You cannot really disagree with it because it's a common sense that gambling is not a good way to establish a steady income stream because it is gambling, there is no way that the house is going to let you win money or let you make profit if you plan to make profit in their casino and in sportsbetting you cannot really be sure that everyday is a good day because you are hoping that the team you are picking is going to win or that your analysis of the upcoming match is on point, there is just too many stuff that you need to consider when you are gambling and I do not think that anyone can do it daily, maybe there are stories out there that are successful at doing this but that do not mean what they achieve, you can also achieve.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 08:20:29 AM
~

So what do you think we will do here? I mean, we have this gambling discussion section to talk about gambling, why not talk about success sometimes rather than talking about how to prevent losses and how to avoid being addicted in gambling?

This gambling section is here to encourage people from gambling, not to discourage them... and the fact that you are wearing a signature for a gambling site, that alone is already a way showing people your support on the gambling site you are working with.
I did not say that we should not talk about this topic, I just said that it is not a good idea to talk about it in a way that it encourages others to pursue gambling in the hopes that they might be able to make some money or get lucky. I do not necessarily agree with you about the encouraging part on why this discussion exist since I believe this discussion exists as a means to share information and such, encouraging means that you are promoting gambling and the forum clearly says that they do not endorse any kind of businesses here but to each of their own, if you think that this discussion exist to encourage gamblers then that is on you.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 07:45:05 AM
I do not know about that, it is not really a good thing to talk about because this kind of headline is just going to encourage people to gamble more because they believe that they can do what that person do when it is clearly not how they made that money in sportsbetting, they are probably if not most likely a rich person that can afford to lose a lot of money and shrug it off so they spend it on betting, sure there are ways that you can maximize your wins and can make you a millionaire through parlay but that is an unlikely thing to happen and to win a million in parlay, you probably need to put in a considerable amount of money. It is not worth risking your money to betting because there is person that was able to make a lot of money in betting, you are not those people so if you think that you can do it then you are in dire need of a reality check.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 28, 2023, 04:45:52 PM
I don't think it depends whether or not, you are rich or poor. Gambling is a game of luck. How can a rich man win more but the poor man win less? Does that makes any sense to you.

The only logical explanation could be that the rich have higher bankroll. They can bet more and more, multiple time to test out their luck. Even if he looses 100 bets, one single win can be enough for him to make up the looses. So in of the day his winnings are more.

But if you look at the poor, their gambling activity are limited due to shortage of money. So they aren't able to bet as much as they want. In the end they have loses more than winnings.

That's the only explanation I can come out with.
That bankroll logic is not foolproof though, say it is 100k bet for a rich man and he's got a 1m bankroll which and the highest win that he can get is 2x only meaning that he can only get 200k at best when he wins which means that one win is not enough to recoup the losses if we are basing on how much they are betting. Even if we magnify the bankroll, it is going to be the same thing although in terms of duration of playing, the rich man's bankroll is going to be an advantage.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: November 28, 2023, 03:40:35 PM
I have always advised people not to take gambling seriously but I myself became heavily addicted to live blackjack from stake.com and kept winning and losing.
That is why you should always practice what you preach just because you have said something does not mean that you are immune to all that stuff that you are against and so you end up being complacent about this kind of things and you forgot what you are telling others to do. It is a good thing that your loan did not involved illegal entities like gangs or loansharks because if that was the case, you are definitely in a bigger trouble than what you are experiencing right now with the bank, the banks can never cripple you if you do not pay their loans so you are still relativity safe and hopefully you will be able to recover from this, no one deserves to stay in this trap because they are a gambler.
618  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guide for newcomers Start a fun and profitable gambling entertainment journey o on: November 28, 2023, 02:55:00 PM
~

Yeah! It's kinda ironic that people need a guide on how to gamble and have fun.  It's like, isn't that the whole point? Like you shouldn't have to think too hard about it.  It reminds me of someone trying to explain how to properly eat a slice of pizza or something.   Wink

Common sense should indeed be the guide here.

My guess is that we are running out of fresh topics to talk about that is connected to gambling and so we try and be creative and even get dumber so we can squeeze out more potential topics to talk about kind of like smashing the rock to find a drop of water. I guess when you are trying to be something here in the forum, you take your chances and do what you must do.
619  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 28, 2023, 01:06:49 PM
~

Yes, looking at at things from an ethical perspective, you are exactly right.

All the casinos who enforce KYC need to do is add a popup after registration, reminding them of the important rules that might get their accoubt/balance locked, for example, using a VPN, not completing KYC, etc.

Though it is not legally required to do so, so they won't. Instead, they'll allow people to register, deposit, play, and then lock the account/balance for kyc if they didn't lose before that (which is why they let them play).

...and people say the casino industry is ethical Roll Eyes
I am not a lawyer but I too can understand that if that's what they are doing then if there ever was a case that the people that got their accounts locked out would try and file a lawsuit and they didn't do the pop up or reminder about the KYC then the plaintiff would be able to argue that their clients did not know that it is a mandatory thing and that they could also argue that the casino could have done their due diligence of doing a reminder, people on the Internet are forgetting the most basic about selling a product or services, that they should always assume that their customers are stupid and that they should be able to tell them how their product and service work in the simplest of terms you know 'Keep it simple stupid'.
620  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Report scam (free of charge) and support investigations on: November 28, 2023, 12:04:01 PM
You can be of big help posting also in the Scam Accusations board of the forum, and it is going to be a big help too that you will list the names of the fraud that you are investigating if you are allowed to share, helps you in attracting potential complainants since they might see specific fraud investigations and they might see the ones that have wronged them. What do you exactly do anyway? I feel that you are a bit too vague about what you do, I am a bit slow on the understanding of stuff so explain it like I am still in highschool.
