641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: October 08, 2019, 04:01:15 PM
The only and most obvious for me is use cryptos to pay games, in steam, psn, xbox live and etc, but I'd like to see your ideas guys
It would be a great experience if all the online store starts accepting bitcoin as an alternative payment method and it is a safe payment method when ever you purchase anything online, i know there is prepaid debit and credit cards but bitcoin should be the currency to use for any forms of transaction in the web as it gives you the protection and there is no charge backs too and it will be a perfect solution for merchants too.

643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 08, 2019, 11:57:47 AM
I have always heard of people who win games with voodoo(charms/certain spiritual power).I know Voodoo is everywhere. They are said to use it to get accuracy in their predictions, permutation, casinos, throwing of dice etc while this will help to reduce to the bearest minimum their risks of loosing.
So, Do you also think this is true?
This is probably the joke of the century  Cheesy, spiritual power and other magical powers is used to fool people like you, if there is any magical power to foresee the future then they will make sure they have enough wealth of their own rather than selling those to make a living  Tongue. This is 2019 and still people are foolish enough to believe these spiritual powers to be successful in life which is pathetic.
644  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 08, 2019, 07:08:42 AM
In 2017 I was running my bitcoin blog; one of the first blogs created in the space, when someone contacted me from an official BitcoinTalk.org. They asked for 5 BTCs to post a banner ad on BT. Seeing that the email was coming from an official BT address, I sent them 5 BTCs.
Two weeks later after not hearing from anyone, I received a message from BitcoinTalk.org saying their email was hacked and the ad offer was from a scammer.
I just have a simple doubt, where you in a comma for the past two years and if you are looking to put out an advertisement will you just follow the mail and wait for them to put up the advertisement or come to this forum and make a deal with the admin  Roll Eyes.

5 Bitcoins today = $40,000 USD. I really miss it. I wish BitcoinTalk.org would at least say sorry.
It can be a million dollars in the next ten years, there is nothing you can do about it. 5BTC for advertisement in 2017 was surreal and i would like to see the transaction ID since you want an apology from the admin for your foolishness  Tongue.
645  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bull run or just a pump before bear market ? on: October 08, 2019, 05:38:44 AM
Let's hope the value of bitcoin increases without any further dump but deep down the heart we all knows that the only thing which will be constant in crypto world is fluctuations
The market is volatile and expect fluctuation all the time, we are not expecting a huge dump in the market from this valuation as there is nothing in the market that suggest that, unless there is a huge negative news in the market we will not see further dump, the price will move with a range like always and this is nothing new in the market.

This phase of crypto is really complicated wherein most of us are clueless about the up coming trend which was not the case before two years.
There is no complication if you have a target price and how you evaluate the market. Check out all the support and resistance in accordance with the current market value and then you will have an idea on how the market will perform.
646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Increase Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2019, 06:15:14 PM
Increasing Bitcoin in a safe and practical way is to follow various bounty campaigns that pay with BTC in this forum, then the results you get, use it for trading. I have been using this method for a long time and finally my BTC has increased for free, without capital, only using energy and time.
I have not participated in many campaigns in this forum so i am not sure about those, is bounty campaigns successful even now as i am not following the new projects as i am not having a good experience investing in those.
I used to mine alt coins in the past and used to trade and convert those to bitcoin and that is how i accumulated my coins. I have invested a lot of money for the hardware to mine those coins and hence it was not an easy process for me Tongue.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 07, 2019, 02:36:10 PM
The only way South Africa could win the next match is if some other bowler supports Maharaj out in the middle by taking wickets regularly (Rabada etc).
I doubt whether India will prepare a wicket that will help the fast bowlers as South Africa have good fast bowlers including Rabada, unless they could find reverse swing it is difficult for them to stop the India players and South Africa does not have quality spinners that could trouble their batsman either, so it is a hopeless series for South Africa, ODI and T20 will be competitive but not test matches.
648  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: October 07, 2019, 11:07:13 AM
Taught me patience.
The best advice for any investor is to have the patience irrespective of the market situation, have a through plan and study the market situation on how the market functions every quarter and then identify the global financial trends too while investing in any financial market, if you could spend the time in research and have a clear idea on when to invest and when to book the profit, you will not worry if you see a temporary correction.
649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: October 07, 2019, 06:36:22 AM
The panic sellers is the problem in the market but we cannot blame them to sell and the loss will be on their wallet but I’m confident that we can still have a good run this last quarter just like the previous years we will see a great game changer.
The problem with the panic sellers is that everyone look to make profit in the short term, bitcoin is not a magic wand to make money without much sweat. Just like any other financial market you need to have patience and never to sell off when you see the market dropping, the difference between the rest of the financial sector is that here we see big volatility than any other market and new investors get panicked seeing those volatility. Understand these basic and invest for the long term and everything will be fine.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: October 06, 2019, 11:58:41 PM
I will not blame the platform because the platform has been built in such a way, but I will blame the developer, Why? because most developers have misused this for crypto schemes to get rich and most project failures are based on the background of developers who do not have extensive knowledge and deliberately tarnish the ICO project's bad image.
The idea about making a token for a project was a novelty but people took the idea as a cash cow to make a ton of money in a short period of time and that is what happened in the market, all the projects that started died off and they collected billions of dollars and the many scams that looted the money after the initial period and running away with the money was a common scene in the market and now there is no one trust that trust the ICO market.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: October 06, 2019, 11:32:20 PM
Why not have cryptobank at the future, with good system audit, unique way for saving and without have big problem just waiting when cryptobank are become legal, many benefit take by investor with cryptobank because they do not save money but in side way they are increase money by saving with cryptobank.
To be frank i did not understand what you mean by these. What benefits are you talking about for the investor if there is a crypto bank and what do you mean by that they do not save money in side way  Roll Eyes.

You really do not need any crypto based banks, we have online wallets and that is the closest you can consider to be banks in the market, not sure why anyone needs a banking system and if you are looking for interest then you are mixing the conventional to the unconventional.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 7700$ on: October 06, 2019, 10:45:59 PM
It looks like this will really be the case now.
The market is going to be filled with new speculations again since there is history to be based upon.
If i am not mistaken he is just providing the charts a couple of weeks back when the bleeding started and what is the big historical speculation in that  Roll Eyes.
Still I dont see it going below 7k, that should be enough.
We have been there and that should be the stop point whenever a fall happens.
There is nothing interesting in the market right now to say that the price will not drop further from this situation, the market started going down after the launch of Bakkt, he market was lacking any direction for a very long time and we need to see a correction before the next upward movement and the correction is here.

I hate to see it dropping more for we are going to see a lot of FUD again that can cost the value of bitcoin to drop.
We might see a further drop before the market starts moving up, the market is dropping not because of any FUD news, i cannot see any news in the market that could affect the price, in fact there is nothing interesting to say right now and the market was lacking any direction and hence the market started falling.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 06, 2019, 10:14:52 PM
Exacly what is the Reason bull run have not started yet?
There is allready good things happening Bakkt, Binance, bitmex large volumes and so...
Still that all its not enough?
May be the bull is taking rest because all the events are not relevant  Tongue. Have you got any idea about the volume in Bakkt and if you are watching the market when Bakkt was launched the market started to fall, what do you understand with that situation, the market was holding together because of the hype it created and after the launch the investors were not impressed and started selling off. Who knows the volumes in those exchanges are real as these exchanges are known to provide fake volumes too. Have some patience we will have the rally in a couple of years time hopefully.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Insurance be a next big thing? on: October 06, 2019, 06:08:27 PM
Exchanges which control most of the trading volume and also act as a storage place for cryptocurrency have become an easy target of hackers. So, could insurance be a promising sector in cryptocurrency or there are drawbacks to it? What could be the challenges for both the insurer and the insured?
If there is a real threat with hackers targeting the exchanges and no one is able to take care of the security then which insurance company will come forward to risk that much, Insurance companies will not come forward if there is a high risk involved and billions are lost because of hackers in the market and no company will accept these high risk business. Regulators must keep a security deposit on the amount of trade volume and if that happens then we might not see exchange hacks in the future Cheesy.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 06, 2019, 05:05:58 PM
Not sure if you are pretending to be dumb or you just are..
Lets say i am dumb enough to say that to you. They selected the domain because it rhymes with the brand they own and i was telling that it has nothing to do with the specific country code.

Who said anything about an Indian board or Freebitco.in having anything to do with India?
I just posted you a question and never said you claimed so  Tongue.

The .IN subdomain was created and released for Indian websites way before Freebitco.in even existed. And out of all the .IN websites, I think this one one is the most popular. What has that statement got anything to do with your interpretation of my statement?
Since you posted this question, we now know that the site has a higher rank in alexa, i was not aware of that earlier Wink.

Please do not misquote people.
If you think i misquoted you, i will clarify that too.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders Protection on: October 06, 2019, 01:20:57 PM
What are the other solutions you've turned to or are excited about?
You cannot trust a third person to protect your coins and the safest option is to have complete authority of your coin where you hold the private key, the concept of bitcoin is to have complete control over your financials without the help of a third person to safe guard your wealth and if you are not capable enough to safe guard and look for a third person to take care of that basic thing, then you are not capable to hold bitcoin.
657  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-02] Bitcoin Logo on Futsal Florentia, Serie A Women’s Football Team on: October 06, 2019, 12:32:22 PM
The idea of this sponsorship comes from two enthusiastic Bitcoin supporters, Silvia Bossio well known in the community as “Silvia Jones”, blogger and administrator of the Crypto Bar and Luca De Luca, software engineer and solution architect with long experience in blockchain and cryptocurrencies....[/i]
Heard that a gambling site is sponsoring Watford football club and last year another controversial site sponsored Spurs but they withdrew that because of regulators, i am not sure whether they sponsored the BTC logo but Watford does have the BTC logo in their shirt.
Good to see that many people are coming up and starting to sponsor sports team.

If they are really aiming for "improve awareness" for the cryptocurrency they are doing the worst they can by putting it on a shirt in futsal team playing on a lesser known league and of course on the women's division where it doesn't even receive half the fans on a men's division of that sport.
To sponsor huge teams you need to shell out huge amount of money, if they are doing something and BTC logo is present it is good to see those advertisement being done and i really appreciate those initiatives.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 06, 2019, 09:03:29 AM
Today's win will give more confidence to India on the upcoming matches.
India is a dominating force even if they play in South Africa as they have the players to beat any team outside the sub continent, some of their bowlers are injured for the series and yet they could defeat South Africa with ease. India will white wash the series and they will be preparing spinner friendly wickets and from the next match they might add another extra spinner. Shami bowled really well in the second innings and Rohit Sharma performed well for the first time as an opener.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 08:43:39 AM
How can other people gain their trust in adopting bitcoin if we, the ones who already know about bitcoin, won't be able to use it or spend it? By using or spending it, we are giving awareness so more people will be able to use it as well.
You are talking about a different subject altogether, if you want awareness about bitcoin and you want to spend where ever you can, then the major retail stores should start accepting bitcoin so that we will be able to use bitcoin. Other than that if you are spending the coins online how can you get the exposure you are talking about. Unless there is no other option to spend what is wrong in hoarding and keeping it as an asset.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Golovkin vs. Dereyvanchenko - Vacant IBO Title on: October 06, 2019, 05:23:35 AM
But let’s see since we still have plenty of Time to think on which to bet
Gennady Golovkin won the fight by unanimous decision and captured the middle weight vacant IBF belt again.
The fight was really good and both were trading shots and now the fight i want to see is the trilogy fight against Canelo Alvarez and that too outside US.
