still have not received any reply / support ticket response as to why I am not receiving my newsletter bounty.

this is not professional let alone fair..

I demand that these issues are treated in the way they should.. people participating in bounty campaigns have provided for the growth of lisk.

now that it had its fair share of success these people are forgotten?

Hello,

I just replied to you. Joel is taking care of the bounty campaign and the support tickets. Right now it's 7:40am there. So please be patient. Thank you.

@Max, would it be possible to add 2FA to https://login.lisk.io?

+1
need this badly

~CfA~

With the next version we enforce a BIP39 passphrase (12 words as a seed), which is extremely secure. Users can then use the 2nd passphrase (also BIP39 enforced) and save this one on another computer. This is essentially 2FA and makes your account as secure as a safe. Smiley

Still not enough? You can then enable Multi-Signature and couple your account with x other accounts. Making it invincible.

My thought about it is mainly the security before launch. I believe I'm safe, but nothing is ever totally safe and with more than 4000 participants there will be some passphrases that are not safe any more because of malware (trojans, keylogger on systems) etc.  I believe it would be good, if there would be a way to make it more secure before launch. The BIP38 solution is good but it will be not available until launch - which could theoretically be to late.

What do you mean? You can secure the access to your account on the ICO page with 2FA. Best to secure your email with 2FA as well.

Or do you mean the passphrases which you saved already? Yes, the security of them are in the hands of the owners. We can't make that more secure before launch. Users just can do it more secure after launch with the 2nd passphrase.

2FA is not possible in a decentralized way. At least not without major efforts. I think all users here are using secure computers, because they are handling crypto-currencies every day. So I'm sure the majority is more than safe. Smiley

is MAX  a ´cryptocurrency DEVELOPER?
what is his background, expertise. also please can we see coding history of OLIVIER?

~CfA~

I'm not a crypto-currency developer. I can do some front-end development, but I don't call myself a developer. Smiley

I made the Lisk guestbook: https://github.com/MaxKK/guestbookDapp
And the IoT dapp BlockData: https://github.com/MaxKK/blockDataDapp (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0T_Ko8f39o)

Both are only small examples (1-2 days of development effort) so that people can see what is possible with Lisk. I'm also responsible for many parts of our website, which originates from Crypti.

https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-website/commits/development

And also actively enhancing the Lisk UI.

https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-ui/commits/development

However, at Lisk I mainly approach possible partners, speak with people, go to conferences, have interviews, manage the business, do marketing, publish videos, create the vision and so on. I'm also taking a look at the UX, as I know what "normal guys" want. This is obviously a process which takes a longer time.

Over time once we hired more people, I will concentrate more on the management tasks and the vision. Smiley

We are a group of Lisk supporters who recognized the need for an investment and trade hub.

Due to strong demand and the thin liquidity on the exchanges we are helping to facilitate LARGE block trades of Lisks, with 3rd party escrow. For more information visit our website:

https://Lisk.Fund

I know the responsible parties of this site. They are legit and trustworthy! A great initiative!  Smiley

so it is safe to click on the link? :-)

which conferences are you planning to attend?

Yes, 100% safe. It's a beautiful site. Smiley

Once launched we will prepare a list of conferences we will attend. In the beginning these will mainly be JavaScript and crypto-currency conferences. Maybe a few IoT ones as well.

Setup a Lisk Testnet Node and Delegate in 1 Minute

Setup a Lisk Testnet Node and Delegate in 2 Pages

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t1U_jvh5TqWjcBPMsf8q_Cm4vYzhRVK4p2c3vzXwUP0/edit

(Please PM me to let me know you actually did either of these if you joined Bitcointalk before 2016!)

the video seems optimistic in suggesting it is possible to create a working node in 1 minute.

is the google docs guide including every step required? I've tried the guides put out by Joel and Phoenicx1969 without success.

I think it is complete.  If you find other steps are needed, let me know here or on lisk.chat and I will edit it.  We all want there to be a complete step-by-step document or video that everybody can follow to success.

KEY POINT: JUST SLIDING THE FORGING SWITCH TO "ON" IN THE CLIENT DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE FORGING LISK.

YOU ALSO MUST SET UP A SEPERATE NODE RUNNING DELEGATE SERVER SOFTWARE.

All necessary steps are shown in the video. You don't need to do anything else. It's also shown that you need to run it on your own node.

And now guys, back to Lisk. You can't compare Lisk to Waves, or do you also compare Apple's App Store to Kickstarter?

Everyone who is looking for serious discussions about Lisk can head to our forum or chat, many great people are there. Smiley

I have added your link to my signature.  Please make sure I am added to your list of bounties.  I do not see my name on the list some how.

Please make sure I get the bounties that I work hard to earn.  I have invested in your ICO as well and below is my address:

Your Lisk Address

13692789278326145653L

Keys have been accepted

I HAVE DID EVERYTHING THAT WAS ASKED OF ME IN THE BOUNTY PAGE AS WELL AS INVEST IN YOUR ICO WITH $.
PLEASE MAKE SURE I DO NOT GET CHEATED OUT OF MY HARD EARN BOUNTY!!!

THANKS!!!

PLEASE MY BOUNTY ISSUE!!!  I HAVE SEND SEVERAL PMS AND THIS IS STILL NOT RESOLVED!!!!  I HAVE DID WHAT WAS ASKED IN THE BOUNTY PAGE PLEASE GIVE ME MY BOUNTY AS ADVERTISED!!!

PLEASE contact the support: http://support.lisk.io/

Thanks I will try there cause this guy here won't even try to help me.

LiskHQ on here refuses to help me.  Even though I showed him the PM I send to him last month.  I have messaged him several times and he just turns me away.

You are a joke man... You even never posted anything during the ICO... So even if you would have had a valid signature for the bounty, nobody would have seen it...

Proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=26065;sa=showPosts

I pmed him several times last month.  I added the signature according to his instruction.  Why are you calling me a joke.  If this problem had happen to you, then you wouldn't be here laughing.

The first PM I ever received from you is the following, you see what I responded.

You see; it just seems like you were too late to the game. I'm very sorry, but we have to follow our own rules here.

Hallo I found this asset on Open Ledger (bitshare):

http://cryptofresh.com/a/LISKICO

https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/LISKICO_BTS

The creator say that this is an IOU for Lisk. Do you have any information about this asset, is this asset similar to:

https://yobit.net/en/trade/LISK/BTC

Thanks in advance for any reply

The one you linked is from an individual person not from open ledger this one is from them: http://cryptofresh.com/a/OPEN.LISK

Open Ledger in itself is legit, I don't have any more information and we still don't appreciate the trading. Smiley

If I am not delegate, I can participate in the network or would have to apply for votes?
My company provides infrastructure services and I think I can participate / support.
Thanks in advance.
nope, only delegate can participate to the network.

A full node supports the network as well. It just not secures the blockchain.

hello , i have a logic question ,  i validated my lisk keys with my pharaprase ,in lisk ico site , and was validated ,  butpage is stil open .it says
1 validation and looks like i have to keep on validating ..

how? why?
thank you in advance Wink

1 validation is enough. If you are unsure about your passphrase in a week, you can validate it again.

Lisk v0.1.4 — Release Announcement

We have just updated our testnet to the latest Lisk client v0.1.4, this release fixes a critical bug while processing unconfirmed transactions. The bug was discovered during a series of stress tests performed on our network, wherein a community user sent 600 transactions within a matter of seconds. We shall be conducting further tests before launch, and making further improvements to block processing efficiency. Until such time, transactions per block are being limited to 10 per block.

All testnet delegates are encouraged to update their nodes as soon as possible.

We have updated our documentation to reflect the new version number.

wow.
WAVES already 3k btc. Better then lisk considering same time ico starts.
Lisk already doomed before launch?

Waves' ICO has collected until this point a total of  125.16236372

Please don't lie / spam in this thread. The topic here is Lisk. Waves doesn't affect us at all. Smiley
