641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the current bitcoin bull run confirmed now ? on: April 13, 2024, 10:03:51 PM
From $72k down to $67k and then now to $62k. I'm not scared at all but this is a healthy correction that must to have, and must happen.

Based on what is happening to the market, and the price has dumped to $67k is like bear run is very close to the market
Folks keep on saying that it's a bear run but look at the chart even just to start with the month of January this year. You should look at the brighter look of the charts and not just with the 1-day frame.

hodlers still have the opportunity to market their BTC before the long bear season will occupy the market.
Why need to market when we can just HODL and buy? You mean to sell? too early to sell but if you want to sell and you're happy with the gains, you're free to do it.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving countdown on: April 13, 2024, 01:07:47 PM
I want to know what we are excited about, and to know if we're slacking over this opportunity.
Straight to the point, the price increase none other than that. When we talk about halving, two things - bull run and price increase.

That's what we're all excited about and whether you hide it or not, everyone is talking about new all time highs at this bull run and that's what this halving is all about.

And soon, we'd see more of it because this is just a 4-year cycle and time nowadays is too quick passing by.
643  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can we ever live in peaceful Coexistence on: April 13, 2024, 11:29:48 AM
Until these superpowers will stop thinking of their own welfare of getting more alliances, there will be peace. But I don't think that we'll ever 100% peace.

I'd just go somewhere not yet flocked with people, I'll do the gardening and plant all of those edible plants and vegetables and fruits.

That's what peace nowadays and how you can sleep at night but if it's about living in peace together with other nations and races, it's unlikely.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 13, 2024, 10:19:42 AM
I had high hopes for Liquid to finally win a tournament but once again they let us the fans down by being eliminated with a quick 2-1 from Azure Ray.
Well, they're like in the grand finals in the lower bracket. Remember when it's always been Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators in the finals?

Now, they're going to have that match. A do or die match on the lower bracket and that's crucial for both teams but it's always like GG always wins at the end.
645  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: April 13, 2024, 08:57:00 AM
These are strategies you can use to increase your odds of winning because sports gambling is more than just selecting.
It is sure more than selecting because before you select, you need to do analysis per match and the game or team that you're going to bet.

You need to know how to read the data and predict upcoming events from it. For me I like checking their last few games in general, and their last few games when they met this same team. I believe these are the things that they even use to decide what odds are shown by the casino for each game.
Checking last few games is where most are starting but also checking some news recently about them if there's some changes of the roster, team issues or whatnot.

Everything that you can gather about them is important when you do some sportsbetting. But of course, this isn't applicable to casino games and other luck based games.
646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I anonymously get Monero with Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: April 13, 2024, 07:59:34 AM
I tried Xchange.cx and got my Monero. Not sure if it's a copy of a better service, but it worked for me.

I will check out your options as well.
As long as you're able to get your monero there then that's fine. So, aside from actually getting it on p2p like on the forum's currency exchange or marketplace of altcoins.

If there are services like that which have been posted here, you must try them especially if they're suggested by reputable folks here.
647  Other / Off-topic / Re: AT&T Data Breach impacted 53 million customers on: April 13, 2024, 06:59:18 AM
I don't know what stats we've got there when our data is daily sold on the dark web. The websites that we're signing up, the telcos that we're using and with small single mistake of the employees taking care of the database where our data are found.

It's not surprising that these have always been the targets of the hackers as the selling of it is lucrative on them.

I even receiving a lot of fake emails, calls, texts and I am not an AT&T subscriber.
648  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: April 12, 2024, 11:51:20 PM
We needed to have enough capital when considering having a gambling casino as been said earlier, also we may also have to understand the little aspect of the risk involved in having one because we are prone to attack in any form except if we are able to build a strong team that can fight back against any attempt on that, these and many more are to be in consideration before establishing a gambling casino and the gamblers will look in for them, not to talk of the funds required in marketing the platform.
The problem with the new casino operators, they think that establishing a casino is easy and don't need much capital. They need to provide their customers the proof that they can sustain big wins and they've got proof of reserves for their funds.

And aside from that, the security of their casino should be a top notch and that's costly to be honest. Now, going on with the marketing, there are so many ways that they can do nowadays to attract people play into their casinos.

The most common that I am seeing is through social media and hiring of influencers and of course in the forum, through signature campaigns.
649  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you can benefits from your loss ? on: April 12, 2024, 11:16:49 PM
I deal with my loss as if that's not a part of me that I have decided to say goodbye forever. That's how we must deal with our losses because no matter how badly you want to recover them, you'll not be able to recover them asap.

The benefit that one can take from there is also that life is going to give you bad days and you just have to bear with it. Accepting it won't make you feel less but it will teach more lessons.

So, take the losses and feel it until you decide to stop or proceed. Everything that happens to you comes from you.
650  Other / Off-topic / Re: No interest in gambling if there is no profit or fun to be accountable. on: April 12, 2024, 10:45:36 PM
We play for fun as well as to make a profit. Though sometimes we can be successful and sometimes we are not. And that's why we become more interested in gambling. When we will lose the interest we will lose everything.
We're not going to lose everything when we lose interest. But I think that's a good one when a gambler that wants to quit has lost his interest in gambling.

That's helpful for him to quit because not everyone can find an easy way to quit gambling because it seems that's already been attached to them forever.

But that's it, if we win, we're more interested but if we keep on losing then we're losing our interest on it but on the other hand, that stops us from completely losing more.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: April 12, 2024, 10:15:48 PM
We still have this kind of comparison or data that seem to be something new. There's no more gender differences in terms of these things.

But if this is the kind of data that's important to many of us, then that's okay as it's interesting to know the data of how many women are actually in gambling.

With this, I'm still in belief that we'll not have accuracy from these statistics at all.
Even though their is a shocking rate of women in gambling, they can not be compared to the rate of men. Gambling is more of maturity and stopping when we needed to stop which trying to compel ourselves to gamble more when we would have try our best to leave the rest for another day. If we want to make money in gambling with precautions whether as a male or female, we need to be wise and do things in a way that is not going to affect us too often. It is important we seek for help when we don't understand some certain things about gambling. Gambling can be very rewarding to us if we know how to arrange things and make the appropriate move that would help us earn more.
Definitely, they're incomparable to the number of men in gambling because this is dominated by male. But I don't want to get onto that masculinity or data or stats that we have because it's common that gambling is more with men than of women.

But as for the ones that are making money with gambling, you may make some today but you don't know if you'll still able to make tomorrow or the next day.

And with that, gamble with happiness and enjoy every cent that you bet because that's the point of gambling nowadays.
652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: April 12, 2024, 09:46:18 PM
Emotions will never be gone to us, this is the same problem when we trade. We have to control it because if we don't, bad decisions that we may regret afterwards will be done.

Those that have the talent and the means to control their emotions, they have gone through several experiences that they're able to force themselves in learning so.

Because without those mistakes and experiences, they won't learn how to be able to control them.

654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 12, 2024, 08:45:23 PM
Exchanges fail basically due to two primary reason one is Bankruptcy as you mentioned and other one is hack that affects the users funds too, hackers always targetting the crypto exchanges and if they see any vulnerability in their security system they will drain millions in split second and after that the recovery is close to zero.
When an exchange gets hacked, it's hard to trust them back because if they don't do anything to improve their security. The trust of their users will be lesser.

But with the popular ones like Binance, despite the hacks that has happened to them. It's just that CZ was too good in confirming the funds of users are safe.

Without him saying that, people will lose confidence on them.
Binance made the hacks to look like it doesn't affect at all and to an extent further they went ahead and forced the hacker to refund the funds by tracking immediately and blacklisting the address from every platform but it isn't case with every exchange, they will not able to get back again once their funds were drained.
Luckily, they've got the funds and reserve and that's why where the "SAFU" started. And that had gained the confidence of most of their users.

Hardware wallets are the best for long term storage rather than exchanges, I always do that and never store too many valuable assets on exchanges.
I reckon, hardware wallets are the best if we're going to store crypto and won't touch it for years than the exchanges.

656  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which blockchain on the market are you most optimistic about? on: April 12, 2024, 11:17:40 AM
As much as I want to stay with Bitcoin-blockchain but the ordinals did spammed the network and caused a lot of trouble to all of us and made the fees quite high.

I am not an extended investor of these altcoin blockchains but I think the one that's getting all the credit and hype now is SOL. But I am not saying that I am optimistic about it.

I'm just acknowledging what it is having this time.
657  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why family and social problems are increasing in our society? What do you think? on: April 11, 2024, 11:55:16 PM
Easy, social media.

The society that's very focused on what others going to think of them is what has been injected to the minds of the people nowadays. Thanks to the help of social media.

It has a set a new standard on how we should live as many contents are in the family and social problems seem to be a norm like divorce, breaking up with girlfriends/boyfriends and being rude to everyone.

Flaunting and flexing culture that have been spread did all of these, thanks to all of those irresponsible influencers that likes to eat views and likes, reactions on their feeds.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: April 11, 2024, 11:21:59 PM
if you have the possibility to have both it is the best..
Many are maxis and won't say a thing about real estate but the winner is the one that owns both.

These are the great assets but to say in general about crypto, there are various options that might mislead the rest. So, with this then it's going to be Bitcoin and real estate.

The combination of these assets is gonna make you financially free and wealthy, no doubt. But it depends on how much Bitcoin you own still.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: April 11, 2024, 10:44:43 PM
That's true, there are many large companies that hire famous figures to promote their products, and of course this is to attract lots of social media users, because nowadays social users are everywhere, and the majority of people nowadays spend their daily lives using social media. using the internet and social media.
That's influencer marketing and it's very effective for many of the brands that has their influencer that has huge following on their social media accounts.

It's expensive but at the same time, that gives exposure to their brands at the best rate that they can depending on the brand deal that they've closed with that influencer.

But if the influencer is also an actress or celebrity, make it more than the actual fee that they pay from the typical social media talent and influencer.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 11, 2024, 10:15:44 PM
Any activity that you engage with can be a hobby. So, as you do gambling activity and you're happily doing it and does it at most times then that's certainly is a hobby.

Those that say that it's not a hobby, well, that's their opinion and we wouldn't meddle with what they think because they shouldn't also with ours if we think and say that gambling is no doubt a hobby.

If smoking can be said to be someone's hobby then why wouldn't gambling be ? Any activity that you do that can happily consumer your time can be said to be your hobby so I also believe gambling is an hobby for some persons but I wouldn't count myself among those who have it as one. For me gambling is something that should even be rarely played just atleast to relieve yourself some kind of stress and thinking maybe.
Yeah, and that's why gambling is a hobby that everyone does.

Those that are saying that it's not, they have their own opinions for it but we just can't understand why they think so. But maybe, there's a chance that they've got a bad experience on it.

And that's why they're discouraging people from doing it as a hobby.
