661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 11, 2024, 09:32:58 PM
Any activity that you engage with can be a hobby. So, as you do gambling activity and you're happily doing it and does it at most times then that's certainly is a hobby.

Those that say that it's not a hobby, well, that's their opinion and we wouldn't meddle with what they think because they shouldn't also with ours if we think and say that gambling is no doubt a hobby.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation become big challenge for retired people after 10-20 years? on: April 11, 2024, 08:57:24 PM
Sure it will.

How much the pension right now will be lessening its value and purchasing power in the next 10-20 years. So, if there's no gain with the amount that they're receiving as pension then the things that they can be bought will also decrease.

This is the sad reality about life that when we grow old if we're going to receive $1k-$2k of pension monthly, how much it will be in the next decade or two.

Most likely the purchasing power of it might be like $500 or even lower at that time.
663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money Trading, Even When You Are Wrong on: April 11, 2024, 08:27:21 PM
Even doing wrong? He might be wrong in some trades and tried to recover in the next trades that he does.

I used to feel sorry for people paying to buy losing signals. Now I think they just deserve it.
They never listen to the real advice that don't buy those signals because the signal is actually making them the product of their own. While whoever spreads the signals give them that opinion of his about the market.

So, it's like paid market research for the lazy ones.
664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 11, 2024, 07:58:43 PM
You're only looking at the part that the casino might cheat you. But most of the casinos nowadays will ask for your kyc when your withdrawals are enormous.

Most of the gamblers don't like to process with the verification but many of us as well have just accepted it as if it's a normal thing.

And about the casinos that I am telling as a scam, it's totally about them being a scam and won't allow you to withdraw and not to cheat on a fair play.
That`s why i several times said here that the problem is that the KYC is not during the registration. But we can`t do anything with it - the main part of casinos use this cheat and it is a problem to find casino, where you can KYC when you want.
Ahh, so that's the cheat that you think they've been doing. It's not actually a cheat but when you register, you should be aware that they can change their rules and terms anytime without any notice.

As i said - i decided this problem with several small withdrawals when i just started. After one of them the casino mostly KYC me.
This is what actually happens. But what is that small withdrawal that you've requested? Because those casinos that promises no kycs with small amounts shouldn't ask that.

So, I get it now why you're saying this is the cheat or scam that they do out of your frustration.

If you are a citizen of a nation where the casino operates and sends your withdrawal through a centralised system that is linked to a bank and are accountable for, the casinos may not even ask for your KYC forever. Do you know why? It's because if a person could have a bank account or a credit/debit card that was issued by a viable bank in some countries, the issue is almost entirely solved. Just like in my country, you can't operate a bank account without your BVN and NIN, and these two are powerful enough to trace you at any time because they have all your details as possible as it could, including your entire biometrics.
Why talk about bank account where you're a crypto gambler. I know that there are gamblers that still does their deposit through their cc or bank deposits but most of the banks are refraining their customers to do transactions related to gambling.

But for your last paragraph, whose side are you? Casinos can cheat their customers while playing or deny withdrawal, the two are common, so we should just pray we are not a victim and try our best to gamble with the right casinos.
I am on the side of who's right, whether a casino or a player, we're all on the same side and that's about being fair to all.

While we see some players that do complain about being cheated by the casino. In many cases, there are investigations given that these complainants were the one that actually cheat the casinos system.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 11, 2024, 10:34:26 AM
Suns are in trouble, they can't beat a Clippers without their starters, what a joke.
Haha, it's the hot talk in the internet now but that's actually a compliment to the Clippers. But preparing for the seed game will have them take their starters and key players need to take a rest.

As for the Lakers and Golden State Warriors. Wasn't it, it was the same last season that they're on the same seed or bracket?

Well, if BTC is no doubt the best.

There will be the enthusiasts think that they can create better. Instead of contributing to the development of the actual BTC, they want to prove that they're better than the others and the one existing.

But it's not going to work and no can do with that because whatever the community dictates, it's here to stay and that's the king which is Bitcoin, no other than that, no fork, no altcoin.

Then can I earn in BTC if I contribute enough or anything on this platform or does it just depend on the fact that no one is ready to donate anything. (Q)—> if I want to do some work for someone, can be anything, where can I find myself to be open for work to earn some BTC, you know like saving some BTC for myself.
Check out the services section, there are people offering service and campaigns are out there for you. You don't earn in Bitcoin but you earn it from someone else in exchange of anything.

There are also websites like --> https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/

You can search for the other marketplaces where clients and workers method of payment is in Bitcoin.

Don't think of any other people, think only of yourself and how you're going to survive in this world. It's sad when we say that we're just here to survive but you're not enjoying it.

So, forget about competitions. Even as it is with yourself, much better to enjoy every single second of your life because even with actions, and your dreams become true.

Where in fact that we don't hold the future and time, we don't know what may happen to us before and after we reach goals or we may not even reach our dreams because time may take our lives in an unexpected moment.

Didn't we saw that already with "forked" Bitcoins? Solving all of those issues that they don't like about Bitcoin, telling to upgrade it to become better.

What they did ended up?

They ended up being shitcoins of the market and they've never been popular again. Bitcoin is Bitcoin and there's no need for any replacement of it and some developers trying to do the same thing and keep the features that it's got because it will never make it the same as the actual BTC that we've got.

That's true! How many projects have tried their very best to create a much "better" coin than bitcoin? And yet, they are nowhere in the market right now. Those forked bitcoins are just trying to survive. Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Classic are just few examples. Though they are still in the trading market, but the eyes of crypto users are mostly in bitcoin. Hard to hold long-term these forked bitcoins because the risk is quite high on these coins.
Well, if BTC is no doubt the best.

Change your title, quit not quite.

What do you think of this method?
As long as it works, it's good.

Is there anyone among you who does it?
Probably, most of us did this but doubling the bankroll that you have started is somehow hard to achieve sometimes.

Give us one of your winning strategies, of course if that is possible.
No exact winning strategies, just withdraw when you're in profit and that's the best and winning strategy that one can do.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 10, 2024, 09:47:56 PM
That's the best thing that a gambler can do if it's about choosing a casino. There are too many options but many of them as well can be better than the others who don't really have concern to their players.

And some may turn out into a scam and can give you headache when you're about to withdraw your money.

KYC is normal nowadays but those casinos that offers no kyc are the best choice that someone can have for playing fair and square upon withdrawals.
I don`t understand what connection is between KYC and fair play and withdrawals? The KYC can`t help you if the casino cheats and the same time casino without KYC can`t guarantee you fair play. There are nice casinos with KYC and fair play, there are the same casinos without KYC. The only difference, as for me - that it is easier to choose the casino with KYC. So just decide is you afraid of KYC or not and choose the casino.
You're only looking at the part that the casino might cheat you. But most of the casinos nowadays will ask for your kyc when your withdrawals are enormous.

Actually, I've read one of this kind of scam that they mimic family members or near to it. Like someone tries to introduce him/herself that they know your relative and your relative involves in an accident and they need immediate money.
that's not what happened here as this scam went on for MONTHS.

Then, someone who posed as an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission contacted her and persuaded her to send sizable payments over several months to secure her winnings and pay storage fees for the car she won.

it was her own greed that did her in. so i don't really feel sorry for her. she could have bought 10 cars with the money she had and had hundreds of thousands of dollars left over.
Well, she just fell for that trick by using someone's name and highly valued official. It's worth mentioning by these scammers and that's why they're going to do it again to the other potential victims.

The problem here is when someone over the phone or email wants you to pay this xx amount then that's how the scam goes and it's already a red flag.

I'd never pay for such.
676  Other / Off-topic / Re: The reason why you have memories. on: April 10, 2024, 08:46:22 PM
The reason why you have memory is not  just to remember the past, describe your objective world and wallow in misery as it may be.

the reason why you have memories is so that if similar something bad or good that happened in the past wants to show up in the present, you could figure how best to handle it with alacrity as much as possible.

For the bad memories, you make sure they doesn't happen again.
For good memories, you make sure that you replicate it.
Yeah, those are good reasons to use memories for some incidents that might occur in the present or in the future.

And as with those memories of the past, it's nice to cherish them because those were moments that will never coming back. As we grow older, we want those memories to be treasured by us.

We become more sentimental and that's what I've became lately.
677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: April 09, 2024, 11:57:40 PM
Don't trade when you don't have a strong heart. Anxiety and market fluctations can cause them to trigger more and you don't know what will happen next.

Those that are in this situation, give yourself a favor of not trading. You can still stay in the market by being a holder and your participation will still make you some money without that much effort and mental stress.

Don't go in for trading when you've got diseases that affects your mental health, brain, heart and other relative aspects of our bodies.
678  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: April 09, 2024, 11:23:56 PM
I still stick to the top choices of popular casinos to avoid casino scams and unfair games, popular casinos remain consistent with the conditions and conditions that have been set, if they require KYC for acceptance then they have added that regulation to the regulatory point.
That's the best thing that a gambler can do if it's about choosing a casino. There are too many options but many of them as well can be better than the others who don't really have concern to their players.

I was glad to see the Phoenix Suns signed Isaiah Thomas for the rest of the year. He got done so dirty in Boston, it would be great to see him win a ring before his playing days are over and it’s great the Suns management is giving him this opportunity. Maybe not enough to get them over the hump, but they did need a true point guard so it’s a great signing.
Yeah, I am also happy to see that he's got a real contract with the Suns. He's sure be a big help to them and not just going on with 10-days contract.

The Lakers have 3 remaining games, the Warriors, Grizzlies, and the Pelicans, if they could win all that the games they are gonna improve in ranking. Just a rank of 7 or 8 is already good enough for them as they won't be in a do or die situation.
Could be, but teams like Kings, Warriors and Mavs or Phoenix has games too. And that's why every game right now is very important for the team mention. And they could surrender that they will be facing the Warriors in the play-in.
Fortunately, the Warriors is in but if there are games remaining, they should just win them all. Anyway, these teams should just avoid Heat in the playoffs. LOL.

He messaged me and answered him since I've got time to chat a bit but just basic questions about crypto and different from what has been asked to OP. I don't see any scam on his message to me.

He asked about how to keep his bitcoins and if electrum was good, I said yes and adviced him to buy a HW. No links were given, etc.

And with that cryptopotato, I sometimes read articles there.
