681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Explanation on Defi on: December 14, 2023, 07:07:01 PM

Lately have been trying to get the full details explanation on Defi but I don't seem to get a suitable one .

I need to know It's importance and how it works not in term of the token.
Also , what does the token has to do with it or is it unrelated at all??
Defi stand for decentralized finance. Well to simply explain defi is like gauging the ability of a platform to incur rewards and interest like whats banks doing. Lend, borrow, repay, interest. Its simply a non decentralized approach with higher apy or percentage compared to bank in an anonymity state. Like you manage it on your own and no one will do it for you. No strings attach process to gain more profits.
682  Other / Off-topic / Re: Simple advice, don't get carried away by people success stories. on: December 14, 2023, 05:45:16 PM
There are so many factors that can influence people actions and we all should be careful on how to react when we hear people talk about success stories that are wildly exaggerated.
You mean the one posted here just in case they rank up? Well if thats a success for them then we can be inspired by that provided that the user post is really grind his achievement and not a merit grabs thread. Also there are other who gained so much profits in trading, airdrops or whatnot that too can be celebrated except for those who are posting but those are just grab images and made up stories.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the next hype in crypto? on: December 14, 2023, 05:03:11 PM
From memecoins to nft's etc what do you think will be the next hype of 2024 or 2025? I personally think of real utility and true privacy. I think CBDC's and constant blockchain tracking will scare a lot of people and they will want true privacy something that monero can bring. Privacy by default is what will be highly desired and needed in the coming future as it will be highly beneficial. Nobody wants to be tracked 24/7 of everything they do.

What do you think?
Well who knows if that will bloom. The next hype in my opinion is a combination of a lot of sector like gamefi, socialfi, rwa, and lsdefi. We cant say for sure if AI could be the next, well its usable but a lot attempt to replicate a related AI project just to earn in crypto but thats something isnt gonna work organically.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do you find new tokens before they blow up. on: December 14, 2023, 03:17:23 PM
Can anyone give a detailed explanation on how to find new projects as they are launching before they gain attention.
Well the secret is be early. If some noise around it has spread means you are late already. Be there when theres not much talk about that project like literally none or only few. You knew it will explode if many has started to talk and join on it. Just like in a new project that are starting literally a ghost town then if explode then tada. Fomo fomo mode.

686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Young student teaching his classmates about Bitcoin on: December 13, 2023, 07:05:36 PM
If this kid pursues the study of crypto technology, he's definitely going places and if the parents were to foster this fascination and I do believe the same as you that the parents might also be a crypto enthusiast too then we would see a bright future for the kid and his classmates
Well provided they will graduate first. Surely some of those kids will pursue something related. They are still kids and young to know what they wanted maybe some of them wanted to be doctor, engineer or pilots. Its not that about money earned from crypto related but what is their dreams. If its about coding then might be a crypto path indeed.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't miss $B: Airdrop from BorB on: December 13, 2023, 06:19:46 PM
Ive checked their socials it seems none interaction with a lots of OG which I followed like more or less 50 good influencers sharing good projects. Its not that its not good but also visited the site, quite simple UI design and seems lack engagement. By the way, itts that real money we need to use or testnet tokens? Also why the volume is for whales only the range of lowest is from $0 to $100k it seems expensive activity.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Young student teaching his classmates about Bitcoin on: December 13, 2023, 04:09:05 PM
Imagine he knew all this by the age of 9? I can sense that he can do more in the future and more technical than bitcoin. A lots of users doing crypto arent really old people butt some are quite young and still on their early phase of life. They are lucky to be exposed with this kind of environment unlike before that to learn bitcoin you must deal with it and none are really helpful about it.

His parents likely doing crypto too and teaches their kid.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i need your help, i forget to save the latest word of my seed on: December 13, 2023, 03:41:44 PM
hey guys, i'm  using a wallet from dogecoin and guess what i forget to save the latest word, please is there anything i can do to save ?
Is there funds on that wallet? I really dont think theres much help for that. Unless you knew some of the words maybe try to guess the others you wont and I hope tis like 1 or 2 words on your seed phrase cause if all. I think you might say kiss good bye to your assets. This is the most rule on crypto dont forget your seed phrase or at least have plenty of copies.

691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Free Bitcoin: A Beginner's Guide on: December 12, 2023, 04:47:43 PM
Im not really sure how to earn free bitcoin nowadays. Maybe 10 years ago some of these are worth it but now its either you work for it or invest on it.

Free bitcoins are common before but the btc price back then isnt really attractive and only used for marketing thats why they gave a lot of it. But now, since its expensive Id doubt there will be one whose giving it freely.
692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quite interesting - How long would it take for the average user to achieve Hero? on: December 12, 2023, 04:16:53 PM
As other users have explained, 490 days is the normal time required for users who actively contribute to the forum. However, very few members can take advantage of the 490 day figure, most members need a relatively long time to reach Hero member rank.
Not sure if there was a guy with this level already maybe we have but dont know whom. Its quite hard to grind merits especially if you are really trying to hard to get it. But surely some here are naturally born gifted with their ways to contribute and received a lot of it. Me myself took longer than that I guess means the competition to get there isnt an easy task at all.
693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is mining limited 😮 on: December 12, 2023, 02:59:49 PM
Also the Miners will only stop mining bitcoin but the would continue to get the reward from transaction fees after the mining has stopped
But what will happened on the investment on stuff like they used to mine the bitcoin? Probably some will be useless or can be shifted to other coins. But seeing the end woyld be 2140 then still a longer time for the game. Im not even sure if I still alive by that time, but curious what would be the effect on it on bitcoin itself.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 12, 2023, 01:39:19 PM
BTW, I can't recommend investing here because I haven't exploited this project any further.
Exploited? Or explored. Jito has their own line of development in solana network. I think its gonna do great if ever bull run arrived. Not all tokens or project can give a whooping rewards just like they did. Probably they gonna dedicate rewards again for their supporters like optimism did. Has anyone heard of marginfi? Pobably can do like this one especially they have point system.
695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Things to keep in mind Before Bull Run. on: December 11, 2023, 06:04:42 PM
I dont know if Im gonna messe it up once more as I experience 2 bull run already. Well definitely will make sure this will be a good run for me if ever and not engage on too much but definitive assesment. One thing is dont be greedy considered the targets on this bull run and you can see that by monitoring constantly the price of each market or what trend are we. Anyways will see which field is gonna bloom either gamefi, lsdi, AI or, rwa. Many criterias will make it as long we can see which one will thrive.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Solana tokens? Are they worth it? on: December 11, 2023, 05:34:45 PM
You know what makes me confused is that the coin that came in has an airdrop so I can't pinpoint if it is worth it to be an alt or not unlike other coins I know they started as presale or just launched in exchange I could easily just know whether or not if this coin would yield something tangible in the long run
Jto tokens arent launch on presale or exchange by a sale type. They just list it but most of the supply circulating are from airdrops by staking their sol into jitosol. I did missed this one but hopefully can have anothet like that. I dont want to fomo but its really envy on the part of thosw who received tokens. Anyway will get our time, maybe there are other solana tokens on the go out there.
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO of bull market on: December 11, 2023, 05:05:57 PM
Take whatever lesson you want. For me, it's to stick with 2-4x leverage with which I tend to do good, don't allow greed to enter.
Well market is really a traitor and we must deal with it. Usually market trnd to correct at a least time we dont expect it. Like today the market crash that instantly without any sign of it and many got liquidated even the bull seems knocking already. Anyway leverage trading is risky and dont really do what you cant deal with cause it will hurt you that much.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bonk, AIDOGE or VET on: December 11, 2023, 03:36:02 PM
Not sure though vet is quiet but bonk and aidoge are quality memecoins. But didnt able to get hands on of these tokens. Maybe aidoge but already sold mine since then not sure if its performing well now. Made a chunk of profits from it. But definitely bonk is something since its a solana eco and now that they are on airdrop season most likely solana shitcoins are probably driving it now.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Namada Airdrop Check if you are IN on: December 10, 2023, 02:39:43 PM
Hello guys. Another project has announced their airdrops. Here is their tweet regarding the allocation.

https://twitter.com/namada/status/1732787033423462743?t=G9I1IpH4Igk6zj7ZG_GsLg&s=19

Categories has been divided with a lot of parameters.
- 15.6% @badkidsart holders
- 10.6% @cosmos stakers
- 21.6% @gitcoin donators ( I think 12 to 17 rounds)
- 10.2% @osmosiszone stakers
- 8.10% @github contributors
- 20.6% Namada's Trusted Setup builders.

You could simply check with the site but read first the blog they explained the details. Dont miss this as of this writing I think 17days left to claim it. Somehow it reminds me of TIA as the process is exactly the same.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi 2.0 10.10 Announcement on: December 10, 2023, 01:07:38 PM
Bump. Hello guys the sale was closed few days ago and they managed to raised $9.7m and expected listing on tier1 cex or dex before Janaury 27th. I think the potential of this coin is good considering it focuses on the security and cross chain derivatives.

I just dont like how they handle the community with the lack of transparent plan and future development.
