681  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need Escrow Explanation on: October 31, 2023, 02:37:30 AM
I can recommend this app called mixin.safe which has a good reputation here in bitcointalk. However i can't tell about it's actual reputation after it was subject to a successful hack attempt  recently, although its signature campaign is still running. Do your own researches before using it.
Are you sure they offer escrow services? As far as I can tell they are more like a custody solution or wallet service. Even if that is true, I'd suggest not using them if security is your main concern. Hiring reputable members to escrow your needs with multi-sig is probably better compared to relying on a third party in my opinion.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: Biting more than i can chew. How can i do better? on: October 31, 2023, 02:18:24 AM
Hope things get better for you. Honestly, it is hard for me to comment on your situation since the suggestions seem quite obvious at first glance that it might sound offensive. If you currently lack monthly income, why don't you try to open a service thread to make websites, etc? Or look for a part-time job near your area. For your financial management, I don't think the mindset you had is right. You need to manage money, not always spend it. Luckily you seem to have realized it already.

If you're asking how to save your money, I can only share how I did it. Personally, I will calculate how much monthly spending that I need to pay. I would avoid buying things through credit or lending money to others unless I'm sure I can pay the next 6 months without any problem. I'd allocate most of my money to saving/investment, and avoid buying luxury/unnecessary things. I think it is a matter of habit too. Learning to cook for example is one of the easiest ways to save money.
683  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Turkey is eyeing finalization of taxing cryptocurrencies by next year on: October 31, 2023, 02:08:21 AM
which is quite high compared to traditional financial transactions according to what I read here .
I can't read the full content, but is this draft the same thing as the document released on the latest news?[1] I can't really read it since it is in Turkish, but a quick search doesn't show the 15% number (unless my browser fucks up and failed to search the whole document). I might be wrong, but it seems like they are still open and researching further on the details.

684  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Dpex-exchange on: October 31, 2023, 01:24:48 AM
Potential scam aside, you should probably post this on the Announcement or discussion board, since it doesn't look like you're trying to get inputs or build a project at all. I do agree that you need to solve that blacklist first before encouraging users to visit your website if you're serious about it. With how competitive exchange landscape has become, it is hard to see how you'll stay afloat with your current proposal.
685  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: CARA MEMBUAT AKUN JUALAN DI AMAZON on: October 30, 2023, 03:11:08 AM
686  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Apakah SFI Sudah Pernah Ada Kopdar? on: October 30, 2023, 03:05:08 AM

Maksudnya cukup sengit gimana gan?

687  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: October 30, 2023, 02:58:34 AM
Makasih agan vv atas koreksinya.

688  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Hardware Wallet on: October 30, 2023, 02:42:36 AM

Kena bayaran berapa kalau subscribe that cloud dalam setahun?.
689  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ELECTRUM - BITCOIN WALLET on: October 30, 2023, 02:22:50 AM

690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stuck ethereum transaction (while using Changelly), unable to export eth wallet on: October 27, 2023, 03:37:54 AM
This is why clicking creste new account 23 times on either MEW or Metamask doesnt work. It also isn't one of the preset BIP options for that iancoleman github site and I dont see a way to enter a custom one.
What do you mean by creating a new account 23 times? I think what people suggest you do is to click the next button on MEW to see the 23rd address, not create a new wallet, and import the seed each time.

If worst comes to worst, I guess your only option is to ask Changelly and tell them your problem, and hope they can return or process your exchange.
691  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign Vs review campaign on: October 27, 2023, 03:27:34 AM
oh you can also post your ad on a third-party platform like Google Ads when your site complies with their rules
I'd argue that doing advertisement on this forum is better if you factor in the cost to advertise, not to mention the forum is already specialized in crypto so most users are likely interested in anything crypto-related. The cost to do a signature campaign or review campaign is significantly lower, you can probably do 6 months of the campaign here, compared to a 1 week to 1-month banner on those websites. CMIIW.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Cost Averaging with costavg.com include exchange fee on: October 27, 2023, 03:05:56 AM
Better still, more exchanges have now implemented the DCA internal feature. This can ensure that there is consistency.
Which exchanges do that? I assume they need your credit card data, otherwise, it doesn't make sense to store some alts to buy more BTC. Personally, I'd never use it and stick with manual trading since bots can be faulty and unreliable too.

I personally prefer accumulating funds and then going through the headache of buying the dip which isn't always accurated  Grin
At the end of the day, both of them have their pros and cons. If you can be patient and get lucky, you'll end up with more profits compared to DCA. The problem is most people don't have those (catching a falling knife is almost impossible most of the time), so DCA is preferable to them. I guess you can compare how your strategy works with the tools OP and others shared and your current results.
693  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto News Site Created Recently on: October 27, 2023, 02:42:16 AM
The website loads very slowly on my end. I don't think it is caused by my internet connection, instead, I suspect the culprit comes from your server or hosting. I also tried to view it through a mobile browser or a smaller view, and it looks like you don't apply a flexible theme since it looks so terrible as of now. I think you should consider adding a flexible theme to target mobile users.

Btw, some of the news content looks to be AI-generated, is this intended? I found one or two sentences very familiar with sentences from a book, while the rest are similar to other sources. I don't think people would like AI-generated content if what they want is factuality and accuracy,
694  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin swapping with frens on deso while chatting. on: October 27, 2023, 02:20:59 AM
For somebody who claims not to promote WireMin, you seem to be eager to promote it here and there. Besides, a chatroom based on Bitcoin or altcoin where people can send and receive BTC is nothing new. On top of that, the risk of losing your coins would be higher when you have no address, etc to hold on to.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Best wallet for Android? on: October 26, 2023, 03:00:30 AM
But even so, this Xenomorph malware acts as a trojan that hides in applications that look legitimate to use.
Therefore, Google Protect did not detect it because the attack used was relatively new.
But now Google Protect and several other antiviruses have made security improvements for the Xenomorph Malware type.
It is a bit unfortunate that some people rely on Google to protect themselves. They are never proactive, and sometimes even make false positives when scanning wallet software on their store. It is a bit weird that malware pass their filters easily though. As always, people should always verify their apk files before they install it if possible, and stop searching through playstore if they want to download sensitive apps like crypto wallet, exchange, etc.
696  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable Wallet vs Cold Wallet on: October 26, 2023, 02:34:48 AM
What if i reset it, create a new wallet and then only use it with Sparrow?
Guess if it would not touch their wallet it should be safe…right?
I mean we can't really say it would be fully safe from any form of attacks if hackers can simply use other means of attacks like phishing, etc. I believe it comes back to what is your goal and how familiar are you with crypto wallets etc. I don't seem to see your answer related to this question. It sounds like you want to make crypto transactions regularly but you don't need mobility, so using a phone is probably not necessary. On the other hand, you mentioned a cold wallet, which doesn't sound like what you described above.

AFAIK, just opening and using a wallet on your phone is not going to lose you money. Most hacking cases happen from storing your seeds online, phishing, etc. A wallet hack due to software/server issues like what happened with Atomic is rare iirc, and you should be able to avoid it most of the time as long as you don't use closed-source software. CMIIW.
697  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What could be the cause of this? on: October 26, 2023, 02:24:37 AM
You don't seem to be familiar with how Blue Wallet works, or just a self-custodial wallet in general. I'd suggest you get familiar with it when you have the time since re-installation is a last resort most of the time. Try to use dns encryption if you don't want to buy a VPN to check whether your ISP is acting up or not. CMIIW.
698  Economy / Services / Re: Moderator Wanted - Site Development and Community Building on: October 26, 2023, 02:02:34 AM
Your forum barely has any content as it is. Why would anyone consider managing your website? I'd suggest you focus on growing it first, then you can probably look for a voluntary moderator after your forum has enough traffic. If not, then a paid position is necessary. Post it on the service board if you're serious about this and can pay with BTC, or on the altcoin boards if you want to use alts.
699  Other / Archival / Re: ✅ [ANN] [banned mixer] | Bitcoin Mixer | Bitcoin Tumbler | Since 2019 ✴️✴️ on: October 25, 2023, 03:17:15 AM
Understandable, my ISP is quite popular to begin with so I wouldn't be surprised if some users use the IP for spam or something similar. I use VPN to browse the clearnet but since I use a cheap service it is not surprising that the IP is also abused by others. I wouldn't recommend visiting clearnet if people want to mix, to begin with.
700  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: October 25, 2023, 03:05:21 AM
I don't think the use of a payment gateway system will be an effective offer over using a p2p network on the blockchain, am not saying this to discourage for your service or what you offer, but this is one of the benefits of this forum, we advise on the best alternatives while people make their own final decision.
Payment systems are not here to replace P2P trading though, they are here to help sellers provide a payment system to accept Bitcoin so their buyers can use their BTC to buy stuff. The withdrawal stuff is just here to help them liquidate their sats after they make successful sales. It is just there for convenience, not the main selling point of such a system. If anything, his competition is another popular open-source and self-hosted payment system like BTCPay Server. CMIIW.
