681  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking a team to develop Bitcointalk 2.0 forums (apply within) on: July 15, 2013, 09:50:41 AM
I think using already made forum software is the way to go, something that's easy to make extensions/plugins for though.  As long as it can be changed easily enough then you'll be able to modify it how you want.

And on another note, I think replying 4 times in a row should be made against the rules (see above).  Should just consolidate it into one post.

AFAIK there's no restriction against doing it, why would there be?  If you send someone a message they can do whatever they want with it.
684  Other / Meta / Re: I need a moderator please I have received fake feedback from TradeFortress on: July 14, 2013, 02:02:15 PM
Mods can't IP check or remove false trust ratings, only theymos can do that.

Specific examples of the bad stuff?

Yea, probably not a bad idea to have it everywhere.
688  Other / Meta / Re: Can bitcointalk.org get 2 factor authentication? on: July 12, 2013, 12:11:52 AM
Can we get a response from a moderator or admin? The technical difficulty of installing this under options isn't that onerous.

A response from a mod doesn't really help (as seen here).  I think 2FA is a good idea, but theymos is the one who has to make it hap=pen.
689  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: July 12, 2013, 12:08:12 AM
This tysat guy is calling the coins pump and dumps while loading his boat full of them for their inevitable rise.  We are early to the alt coin market and he is the biggest manipulator of them all.  trying keep people afraid.  You should be ashamed Tysat for lying to teh noobs.

I don't touch altcoins (except for namecoin) because they're a waste of time.
690  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcointalk forums accounts for sale. on: July 11, 2013, 05:57:21 PM
Selling forum accounts is allowed
691  Other / Meta / Re: Posts should be showing up in watchlist but are not? on: July 11, 2013, 02:12:44 PM
Maybe someone edited a post?  I've seen similar and I believe it happens when someone edits a post, it shows as unread but doesn't show up in the watchlist.
692  Other / Meta / Re: Trolls to ban on: July 10, 2013, 03:26:31 PM
I suggest banning the following trolls:

greyhawk
smoothie
Goat

Why are they not banned yet?

EDIT: BCB agrees with me

Reasoning/specific example?  I'm too lazy to go searching myself.

694  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: July 09, 2013, 07:37:55 PM
If you just got the number within the past day it may not be showing your shipment yet.  It took a little bit till my shipment showed on tracking, and at the end there were 2 shipments with that number.
695  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: July 09, 2013, 12:01:48 PM
Got my Avalon yesterday, it's good to be mining again.
696  Other / Meta / Re: Why do we allow trading of accounts? on: July 07, 2013, 11:01:50 PM
With TOR, it is impossible to restrict duplicate accounts, so why try "half ass"?
Still doesn't answer the question.  I know why we allow alt accounts.  But why do we allow selling and buying of them?

Too much of a pain to track?  Just use escrow for transactions and there's not too much worry.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crowdfunding Will Together Destroy Banks on: July 03, 2013, 03:34:06 PM
@OPs title

No it won't, you're stupid if you think it will.
698  Other / Meta / Re: please delete this account on: July 03, 2013, 01:25:11 PM
You have no posts except this one, change the pw to something super long and it's as good as deleted.
699  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: July 02, 2013, 07:22:33 PM
it seems the full shipment of batch #2 will be completed tomorrow or day after tomorrow...

You sure?  Mine is still processing, though I might be one of the last orders.

I'm pretty sure I was within the last 20-30.  I did just get my tracking number though!

Does anyone know if a 10 digit number is right for DHL?  I tried to put it in there tracking but am getting no results, figuring it's cause they just put it in.
