I wonder why he should apologize if he feels that he is right? Judging by how crappy United are playing and what shape the players are in (by the way, there was also a leak that an internal investigation was carried out at United regarding a large number of injuries), there should be questions not only for Sancho. If the head coach allowed all these problems to become so critical and deep, then he himself is to blame.
People are judge someone based on their title, since Sancho is a player which is someone who trained by Ten Hag, people think if Sancho is wrong since Ten Hag is more superior than Sancho. If the conflict is between Ten Hag and the Glazer, people will blame Ten Hag and so on.

If Sancho feels that he's right, he should leave Manchester United in the next transfer window since there's nothing he can get there.

At this day and age, there are a lot of news circulating around all the players. And for a player like him who is playing in Manchester United, everything is going to be big news.

anyway, when it comes to thinking between players and coaches or authority, I will obviously support the player. because most of the time it is the authorities who are making the wrong decisions. I obviously don't know the absolute ins and outs of this situation. But I will also agree that if Sancho feels that he is right, he should stick by his words and leave Manchester United. After all, we have seen Manchester United making some dumb decisions and also creating problems with several players in recent times.

OP, what @Marvell1 said is true and needed anytime, anywhere and it will be strong evidence and a powerful weapon to get nod from anyone. Regarding what you asked above, I think everyone likes the three of them and especially BTC where Bitcoin continues to grow in terms of adoption, becoming more real and stronger from day to day, even though the volatility is quite good, it will continue to decline in recent times.

OP is not the first person on this forum that I've seen who enjoys giving bitcoin investment advice to others, but has never invested in bitcoin. If I were his parents, I wouldn't believe what he said because he doesn't have any experience or achievements from investing in bitcoin. What you say is just what you hear online or hear from others, all of which will never be enough to convince anyone. Let's try to put ourselves in their situation, can we trust someone when they haven't earned money or they have a lower income than us?
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 16, 2023, 04:50:37 AM
I actually do not see any problem with him being in Real Madrid as long as he plays well. However, the problem is if he is in Real Madrid, it is very possible that he is going to suffer an injury because you know the competition is definitely very high. At least compared to if he goes to the Saudi Pro League or somewhere else, right? I know he can definitely still play football very well. But the problem is if at this age, he picks up an injury, it is going to be a big problem for him in the future. And I agree that if he does decide to retire, it is not going to be really unbelievable at this point.

Watching the league and the national team, he is playing a lot like a defensive midfielder late in his career, that allows him to be around for the defense, as much as he can defend of course with his age, but also he is the one that gets the ball from the defenders and start the attack, that allows him to be the playmaker sort of speaking. That is not a bad idea, that actually helps both teams to utilize him at his old age. It is not all that easy for him to attack and score or assist, but he could definitely do a hockey assist and just get the ball rolling.

I still think that he should retire at the end of the season, or at least shouldn't be at Real Madrid anymore, he could maybe go to Saudi Arabia or something, he would be amazing there for a few more years, but that dude is 38 years old, he is already quite old, I do not know how much football is left in him anymore and I am feeling like it must be not a lot of it, so it wouldn't be weird if he retired.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: October 16, 2023, 02:43:21 AM
~~~
This is very possible after seeing Liverpool's performance at the start of this season, they have really improved and are much better than last season, but winning the Europa League is not easy, in this competition there will be many surprises like what happened to Arsenal this season. Then, they are very strong in the domestic league but they can't go further in the Europa League, the same goes for Liverpool this season, indeed they are very favorites, but it's not easy.
Winning the title is not easy for any team even if they are favorites, that's true and I agree with you.
Liverpool is one of the favorite teams to win the Europa League title this season, but I can't predict for sure whether they will be able to reach the final or fail sooner in the knockout stages. Something like that is always possible as experienced by Manchester United and Arsenal last season.
Several teams that failed from the Champions League cannot be ignored. They tend to be stronger than the teams that qualify for the knockout stages and we don't yet know who Liverpool's opponents will be there even though Liverpool are leading the group stage standings so far.
Liverpool did face some problems in recent matches. But I think that is not going to be a big factor going into the next match. I think they will still manage to be able to win the next match against Everton. After all, Everton is really inconsistent right now. They have been inconsistent so far this season. And Everton Is somehow keeping themselves out of the relegation zone.
So I think if Everton can get one point from this match, it is going to make them feel like they got a win from this one. But on the other hand, if this is a draw, Liverpool will feel like they lost an opportunity to get three points from this match. And I don't believe that Liverpool will fail to get three points from this match, to be honest.
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still A P2P Electronic Cash System ?. on: October 15, 2023, 04:00:49 AM
In some way it's stil a p2p electronic cash, because nothing stops you from using it that way. But the current incentives push most users to view it as an investment rather than a payment method. There's not a lot of places that accept Bitcoin, and fees might get high sometimes, and price volatility means it's often better to wait for a more favorable price.
Bitcoin's value does not depend solely on its use as a currency. People could avoid using it as electronic cash at all, and it would still be valuable because storing value for long term is also an important property.
the high volatility factor is the major reason why most users are after for the investment side of bitcoin rather than as a payment method. however, some are already seeing this payment method as cheap and easy, especially those with cross-border payments. they don't need to use the traditional remittance centers which charge a hefty amount and the duration is quite long. so for me, this usage depends on the need of the person, whether he's looking for investment or a good payment method.
That's right, even if people turn bitcoin into an asset, bitcoin will not lose its P2P feature. I am a bitcoin investor and I hold most of my bitcoins with the goal of finding profits. But sometimes if I need to transfer money to another country, I will ask my partner or relative to use bitcoin instead of transacting from the banking system.
You're right, how bitcoin is used depends on each person's needs and each situation. Just because people consider it an investment doesn't mean it can't be used for payments or P2P transactions.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Gold, land which better? on: October 15, 2023, 03:50:03 AM
...
Right now I want your important advice on how to convince them.
Instead of advising your parents to invest in bitcoin, why don't you find a way to invest in bitcoin yourself? You say you have knowledge about bitcoin, but you have never invested in bitcoin, which proves that you know nothing about bitcoin investment, so giving investment advice to your parents is ridiculous.
In my opinion, the best advice for convincing others is to show positive evidence that you have benefited from it. You should do something to prove to your parents that bitcoin is really an investment that can bring superior profits than gold instead of using empty theories to convince them.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can change lives on: October 15, 2023, 03:41:57 AM
Bitcoin is definitely acting as an important turning point in life especially when there was no job to provide family support this Bitcoin has contributed a lot to my family support. Now I get a certain amount of profit per month by trading and investing in Bitcoin and I get what I need for family support by trading and investing in Bitcoin.
So far it is not accepted in my country so I can't apply Bitcoin in my business but the amount I get from trading on Bitcoin is enough to support my family along with my studies. If I had not used or known about Bitcoin I would have lived in poverty and had no means to support myself and my family. So Bitcoin has acted as an important influencer as life changing.
If you have the trading ability and investment knowledge, you can also do the same with other assets like gold or stocks, not just bitcoin.
But I'm quite skeptical when someone says they don't have a job and rely solely on investing and trading bitcoin to support their family. You could be the first and maybe the only one to do it. I'm also quite successful with my bitcoin investments, but I still have an outside business to support my family. Bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable, I don't think it's that easy to make money from it, I really haven't seen anyone who can survive without a job and only depend on investing and trading bitcoin.
Unquestionably, investing and trading in anything (be it stocks, gold, or bitcoin) requires a keen skill set and thorough understanding. But let us to think about it for a moment. Even while it would seem impossible to live entirely off of trading bitcoin, an interesting number of people do just that. Keep in mind that there are many different types of investments. Yes, the price of bitcoin fluctuates, but isnt that a trading opportunity? Dont traders frequently profit from price fluctuations?
Reading your sceptic viewpoint on relying only on Bitcoin investments and trading for a living is extremely intriguing. In fact, having numerous sources of income is wise and frequently advised by financial gurus. This includes your own outside business. Volatility is a risk and an opportunity, and its important to balance them both in order to make sustainable investments.
I'm not saying we can't make profits with bitcoin trading.
Yes, bitcoin volatility is an opportunity for us to make profits, but have you seen who can predict the market accurately and consistently make daily profits from trading to feed their families? I know that our world is colorful and anything can happen, but I have my doubts because I have never seen anyone who can support their family with just the income from daily bitcoin trading. Have you seen anyone with that ability? Even those who claim to be experts.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 14, 2023, 04:44:50 PM
I personally do not think Manchester United is actually going to finish in any kind of respectable position in the Champions League. They will be very lucky to actually finish in any kind of decent position in the English Premier League. Expecting anything from Manchester United in the Champions League is actually a dumb expectation in my opinion.
Yes, they do have a chance against Copenhagen. But the way they have been inconsistent, it is probably not a good idea to expect a win from them to be honest. There is nothing to be surprised if the match ends in a draw. And personally, I will not be surprised if they actually end up losing the match.
It's very true Manchester united have been characterized with so much of inconsistency recently but then the issues leading to this inconstancy is something they can definitely resolve before the season comes to an end and possibly before mid season they should be able to get themselves fixed if Erik ten hag gets to work as quickly as possible.
With Copenhagen they would most definitely utilize that opportunity and probably kick start their new streaks of winning from there if only they change their strategy or tactics and get the players in their right position with perfect combination aswell. The defence system is another aspect of the team Erik ten hag have to work on seriously els he will continue conceding more goals and may hardly secure wins, the defense is so weak they it will cost stronger team less efforts to break in. But with good improvement I'm sure the red devils still have a chance to secure a good position in the UCl as they still gat some good number of game to play.
Well, I think that Manchester United has a match against Sheffield United, which is going to be played two days ahead of the match against Copenhagen. I will say that Manchester United is going to lose at least one of them. My best guess is there will lose one and win one between these two. Either they are winning the match against Sheffield United and performing/losing against Copenhagen or vice versa. With the inconsistency that Manchester United has right now, I do not believe that they will be able to win both of them, especially when they will be played with only two days of difference.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 14, 2023, 04:09:25 PM
Barcelona declining performance is not due to a lack of talented players in their squad, the storm of injuries that is currently hitting Barcelona means that Xavi has to rack his brains in formulating a strategy. In the remainder of October there are 3 matches that Xavi troops have to play, the match vs Bilbao is waiting, then against Shakhtar in the UCL and finally the very important match, namely El Clasico.
De Jong and Kounde will certainly not be able to play in these three matches, while other injured mainstay players such as Lewandowski, Raphinha and Pedri have the opportunity to play in El Clasico. Xavi really hopes that his flagship player can return to strengthening the team soon. The match against Bilbao is very crucial for Barcelona, after getting less than optimal results in the last match, now Barcelona must target victory in order to keep their distance from Real Madrid who are in first place and Girona who are one rank above them.
Barcelona have many important matches in this month but have absent with five regular players such as Jules Kounde, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Pedri adn Frenkie De Jong. Its not good situation for Xavi Hernandez exactly in this month have to face Real Madrid in El Clasico match without have their important player. Last update, Gavi rumor get injury with Spain national teams and not confirming yet about how serious injury with him will absent for several matches later or not. Next match against Athletic Bilbao, Xavi Hernandez have try with new formula or scheme to anticipation with some important player absent, he try with attacking line and see how effective with Ferran Torres replacing Robert Lewandowski position.
The unavailable players are not the players that Barcelona do not play regularly. Those are the players who actually are very important for Barcelona. And to be honest, Barcelona actually depend on them a lot in almost every match. So not having them available is going to increase problems for Barcelona. This is also going to make the job of the opponent of Barcelona easier. Barcelona already needs to improve their performance because this performance is not good enough for a club that is defending the league title. And now, with all those players being unavailable, the job is only going to get harder.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 14, 2023, 03:07:16 PM
It must be time for Napoli to stand up again. Their next game is going to be against Verona away. Verona are in a really bad condition now. Despite the drop in Napoli's performance recently they are still a way stronger team here. This game should be a good opportunity for Napoli to make up for that Fiorentina loss as well.
Besides winning this game is important for Napoli to improve their morale before facing Milan home next time. Because that game is going to be hell of a challenging one.  Grin  Milan are at the top of the standings you know. Just as Fiorentina did Milan can also beat Napoli away if Napoli don't make progress.
Many people talk about Napoli as if they are the only team in serie A, but I believe that we should change our perspective and take other teams into consideration. Even if we talk from now until tomorrow, if a game were to change, Napoli would not win the league title, and a game could even change whether or not they would qualify for the champions league the following season. Every team experiences poor performance  throughout the course of the season, as we all know. Let's look at Manchester United and Chelsea's performance in the Premier League this year. Manchester United and Chelsea are two of the best teams in the league and have won the league title in the past, but their performance has changed recently. Manchester United and Chelsea started the season poorly and are still not fully fit to play at their best, but I think there will come a time when their play will be impressive.
The league hasn't progressed very far, and the match that Napoli will play against Verona won't be a problem because we know that Napoli can defeat the team, but the match between Napoli and Milan will be extremely difficult to predict because we know how good Milan performance is this season; Milan are at the top of the league table and I don't think there's a team that will defeat them.
The current performance from Napoli really does not seem good to be honest. They have been a little inconsistent in recent times. But the thing is I believe they are far better compared to Verona. And at the same time, I believe Verona does not have a single win in the last five matches. So I don't think it is going to be a problem for Napoli to win this match.
But in the Champions League matches, I am not confident about Napoli at all. even though the next match is going to be played against Union Berlin, I think Napoli will still not be able to win that match.
It's going to be helpful still if you don't have anyone to give your private keys because you have to take the allocation off the table and it isn't coming back anyways, makes the whole Bitcoin even more scarce so do not worry much if you don't have anyone to pass your private keys unto, you are still doing every bitcoin holder a big favor.
It is a useless waste and does not bring any great benefit to anyone. The total bitcoin supply is 21 million bitcoins, how many bitcoins can you own to create more scarcity in bitcoin supply? Instead, if you have no relatives, there is no one you can trust to inherit your bitcoins. Why don't you find a way to donate those bitcoins to charity if something unexpected happens to you?
Life is very harsh and not as beautiful as we imagine, but it is not so bad that there is no one to trust, no trustworthy relatives.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 ACTUAL DISCUSSION THREAD! on: October 13, 2023, 11:13:32 AM
New Zealand is having then upper hand as of now, as Bangladesh has lost 3 wickets. The ever-reliable Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson have picked up the wickets. Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Tanzid Hasan are back in pavilion, while Shakib Al Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto are at the crease for Bangladesh. The Kiwi pace trio (Boult-Henry-Ferguson) have so far done a decent job. Now the focus shift to their spinners (Mitchell Santner-Glenn Phillips-Rachin Ravindra). They didn't picked Ish Sodhi for this match, which I believe may turn out to be the correct decision.
4 wickets down for 81 runs, the current run rate is hovering around 4.5. Very bad start by Bangladeshi team against the New Zealand pace attack. This pitch is helpful for pacers than spinners. I feel the a target of 250 or more is defendable on this pitch. Bangladesh need a big partnership, Shakib and Rahim needs to stop any more wickets from falling. One big partnership and this game will become balanced. For now I believe New Zealand is in control of this game.
New Zealand bowlers are bowling well. They destroyed Bangladesh's top order. No top order batsman can do well without Miraz. Miraz's collection was 30 runs. Now the two experienced batsmen of Bangladesh squad Sakib and Mushfiq are batting very responsibly. The team has collected 62 runs from this partnership so far. And Bangladesh's collection is 118 runs in 25 overs. The way Bangladesh started batting. This is quite a good collection. Batsmen should try to stay at the crease. They should not be in too much of a hurry. Then the team will lose all the wickets before 200 runs. Apart from Sakib and Mushfiq, Mahmudullah and Tawhid Hridoy are still in Bangladesh's squad. These two batsmen are capable of batting quite well. If the Mushfiq-Sakib pair can take Bangladesh to 200 runs then Bangladesh might be able to set a target of around 260.
Shakib Al Hasan returned to the dressing room with 40 runs from 51 balls. Although not a very big innings, it was very necessary for Bangladesh at this moment. But if Shakib can collect 60-70 runs, it would be a bit easier for Bangladesh to collect 250+.
Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim are batting now. Mushfiq's batting is a bit slow now. Bangladesh collected 168 runs after losing 5 wickets in 35 overs. Their run rate is now 4.8. The Towhid-Mushfiq duo will need to stay at the crease for at least 45 overs if Bangladesh are to provide a decent target to the New Zealand team. If this pair is broken, the batting of Bangladesh players will become more slow. And there is a possibility of losing all the wickets quickly.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: October 13, 2023, 11:08:44 AM
$5,000 remaining is not that far anymore, I won't risk it with something else if I am near the capital that is needed to start my business. I'd rather do other work and try to reach that number. I don't think it will take a year to receive that much in a decent job.
A rushed decision would just make things worse and it mostly ends up bad so it's better to just have patience and wait for the completion of the capital. Who knows, while you are in the process of completing the required amount you might think of some new good ideas for your business. I mean, the excitement could make us think better while our adrenaline is pumped up.
That's true. If he choose to risk the $15k that he has right now, if he somehow failed to grow it to his target capital that he really want, I think it would be hard for him to comeback. There might be a chance of him being disappointed and not continue the original plan that he have. The $5k he needed to materialize his dream business, it would be better to just go all in and accumulate those $5k rather than try to invest it on small businesses that you are uncertain rushed decisions.
I don't see a huge difference when comparing $15k to $20k to start a business. But if he has a perfect plan with his 20 thousand dollars, then there is no reason to risk it now. I agree with you two, OP should continue to be patient and achieve his original goal instead of having to change plans in doubt and uncertainty. He was able to save $15k and only has $5k left to accomplish his goal, so there's no reason it can't be done. Making $5k will be much easier than making $15k, so this is not the time for you to ruin your plans, OP.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging Newbies from Bitcoin... on: October 12, 2023, 12:07:53 AM
That’s already the best advice an old trader can give to a newbie, never trade if you are not capable to do it. Old traders have already been there, trading while they are still newbies but all they got are just inevitable losses and the more they try to trade, the bigger the losses they have endure. This is not to discourage newbies to never try trading, but to warn them that there’s always a danger in trading if you insist to do it without proper knowledge and skills to do it, without making a long preparation prior to trading.
It's not that newbies are not capable of trading, it's that newbies are not ready, they need more time to learn more knowledge, experience, and skills before trading. No one should discourage or chase newbies away from trading, but they should also not rush to think that making money from trading is easy. All advice from old traders just want to advise newbies to take it slow and not rush into trading without experience, only participate in trading when they have knowledge and are really ready to trade.
Gold is not going to make someone rich. How many people have you ever seen that say "investing in gold made me rich"? None!
Some have made it through their wealth life through gold, but we must not deny the fact that this is only a centralized physical asset, now that bitcoin arrives, it is targeted on everyone, bitcoin is never like gold which was centralized, bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and anyone can make investment in it at any time and make profit without having to hold for long, a good example are the traders, you can also work and get paid in bitcoin, just as you have seen it being a digital currency unlike gold which is just an asset but but people were not paid in it.
I don't think gold is completely centralized because it is scattered across the entire surface of our earth and only those who can discover and mine it can own it, no government can create it like fiat. But no one knows how much gold our earth has, there may be a lot of gold that we humans have not discovered yet.
Talking about how to make money from gold, we also have a forex market and you can also profit from trading the XAU/USD pair. It can generate even greater profits when compared to the BTC/USD trading pair. But holding physical gold will not have the same potential as holding bitcoin. Simply because gold has achieved its achievements and reached its limit while bitcoin still has a lot of potential thanks to its outstanding properties.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: October 11, 2023, 11:41:14 PM
It's a good idea to buy bitcoin and forget about it for a few years. But keep the bitcoins in a safe place, especially if we store them for a long time. Don't keep it on an exchange so you can monitor it directly.
But we don't know when bitcoin will rise. Maybe by the end of 2024 there will be an increase.
not totally forget, but at least you are keeping tabs with the market. we can never be sure even if it is bitcoin. though the adoption is continuously increasing, we won't exactly know its future.
but among these cryptocurrencies, btc is a very good candidate when you are thinking of long-term investments.
Watching the market means we are also watching bitcoin price so this is not strategy as the OP is suggesting. Furthermore, any investment has risks and once you have accepted to invest in bitcoin, it means you are willing to lose that money. So why are you still afraid something bad will happen, meaning if bitcoin plummets you will sell it? Early adopters were successful because they bought bitcoin and forgot about it for a while because they knew if they watched the market constantly they would have to sell it.
I think Manchester United is gonna wake up and ended up going to the next round, they ahve luck on their side because the other two teams of the group asides of Bayern Munich are weak (Copenaghe and Galatasaray) if that were not the case they can be already more out than in.
I'm not sure about the waking up part for Manchester United for now. It was totally normal to see them losing to Bayern Munich first. They even resisted really well by scoring 3 goals as well. However that loss against Galatasaray wasn't as expected as that one. They are literally at the bottom of the group with 0 points now.
Maybe Copenhagen matches would be an opportunity for them to collect some decent amount of points. But for now it is difficult to predict how many points they can collect in those matches. Copenhagen might even steal points from them home. We have seen Copenhagen doing good against Bayern Munich home the last time.
I personally do not think Manchester United is actually going to finish in any kind of respectable position in the Champions League. They will be very lucky to actually finish in any kind of decent position in the English Premier League. Expecting anything from Manchester United in the Champions League is actually a dumb expectation in my opinion.
Yes, they do have a chance against Copenhagen. But the way they have been inconsistent, it is probably not a good idea to expect a win from them to be honest. I am sure that City will return to their best performance even though De Bruyne is certain to be absent for quite a long time. With the defeat against Arsenal, Pep will improve the performance of his team and even patent his flagship system. I mean, Pep Guaridola doesn't plan for his squad to lose again in the next matches. After all, as you said, this season is still in its early stages. Also, I tend to see Pep experimenting more with his system and player rotation. In the next match, they will display the full squad when playing match after match.
Against Arsenal, Pep could actually play other player options. However, it seems that he only wants to maximize and measure the abilities of his players.
Talking about the match against Brighton, it looks like Pep will be serious when he hosts De Zerbi's squad. Pep doesn't have any problems with his players, only De Bruyne will be out for a long time. What is certain is that City is not a team like other opponents.  Most likely, Guardiola will implement the system he relies on. They will get full points in the match against Brighton. even though De Zerbi's squad is a team that often causes trouble when playing against big teams. but when they visited the Etihad Stadium, it was not an easy match. Even on paper, City has a high probability of winning this match.
Two matches loss in a row on Premier League become bad reputation for Pep Guardiola despite he has reason with several important player absent such as Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri, its looks Pep Guardiola scheme not running well some player replacement can't give more contribution for Manchester City exactly with Erling Haaland can't scoring goals in last two matches when Manchester City defeated by Wolves and Arsenal.
Brighton Albion is not weakness opponent team for Manchester City on upcoming match, although with Brighton not consistent performance but their achievement success hold draw Liverpool on last match become warning for Manchester City will get their third loss in Premier League. Bad reputation for Pep Guardiola for first time he got loss two matches in a row when becoming Manchester City manager, he should make Man City return to their best performance if want keep fighting for first standings position with Spur and Arsenal.
I am pretty certain that this is just a lapse in concentration for Manchester City. They are capable of performing well. And certainly better compared to what they did in the last two matches. Whether Manchester City is going to win the next match or not, it is definitely up for debate. Especially with them losing the last two matches. But I believe they are going to win the next match which they are very much capable of. And because they lost the last two matches, I expect that they are going to go with their full strength to win the next match.
Sri Lanka vs Pakistan
Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat against Pakistan. This pitch is batting friendly. High scores are likely if the Sri Lankan batsmen can bat responsibly. However, Sri Lanka stumbled at the beginning of the innings. They lost the wicket of Kusal Perera for just 5 runs in the second over.
In today's match, I consider Pakistan team as favorite. However, the performance of their players is very erratic. They also lost against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup match. Still, I think Pakistan will play responsibly in today's match. Also since the pitch is batting friendly. So Pakistan's batsmen may also be able to play well. The average score of the first innings at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium is 291 runs. But I don't think Sri Lanka will be able to give a target like 290
Sri Lanka lost the wicket of Kusal Perera very quickly. Still the team was playing brilliantly due to the responsible batting of Nissanka and Mendis. But they just lost the wicket of Mathum Nissanka. After collecting 51 runs in 61 balls, he returned to dressing room.
The team has collected 112 runs in 18 overs. Sri Lanka's run rate is very good. The team has the potential to score 300 runs if the players stay at the crease. If Sri Lanka can provide 300+ target then they have chances to win. Because in the second innings, it is much more difficult to win by batting at the target of 300+ runs on this pitch.
I am very disappointed with Pakistan's fielding today. The team is fielding very badly. And this is why Sri Lankan batsmen are getting more confident to play big shots.
