I sent a message to phasebird for clarification, waiting for him to respond... I think the best way for you to take advantage of this is to follow his direct instructions... I can not handle several of their points wrt to replacement boards and actual refund sending. They haven't sent me any btc for refunds and supposedly some boards were shipped but a limited number, it won't be enough.

If all goes well with test/sample chips, prototype should be made by mid-December

Does anyone know if there's any way to check unit operating temp? I've replaced the stock fan on my tube with 2 x Corsair high performance fans because of the noise and it has reduced hugely, but they don't seem to be moving as much air through as the stock fan. I obviously don't want to damage anything by overheating, I'm running it @270 for now until I know its not overheating.

well my unit is in my garage. on a woodbench near the garage door. it is 40 f outside in NJ door is open with a fan puling in air note temps below not sure it that sensor is in the rasp pi or on the miner. I will now shut the garage door. it is 11:11:11 am in NJ door open fan blowing in. Please move that prisma. You are asking for trouble with it so close to wood. Too many have caught on fire.

My Prisma has never gotten more than 350GH/s. My opinion is that they are pieces of shit and should not be purchased. I can't even return this piece of shit because my reseller (Canary) basically blamed me and told me to fuck off even though it arrived with missing parts. Be warned if you buy one of these. You will waste more of your time then they're worth and will be disappointed.
Shall we make our PMs public to see where I said something is your fault and where I told you to fuck off?? I have no desire to bicker back and forth publicly or privately. You sold me a miner that had a missing capacitor and does not function. You are unwilling to replace it or accept a return. If you are willing to do something, feel free to let me know. Up until now all you have done is told me to contact AsicMiner, who does not respond. I expected more. If it is outrageous for me to assume that I would get a functioning miner in exchange for my BTC, then I apologize. I didn't sell you a miner as I'm not a reseller. you participated in a group buy and I combined orders and re shipped it to you once they arrived same day. I explained to you that I do not have anything to replace it with and for that or a refund, I'd be more than happy to support your contact to AM. Don't try to twist what I said or to make me your scapegoat when you're pissed at bad hw. Anyway, let's not sling stuff, we can PM.

Looks like another useless altcoin... And where's your reviewed source code, did I miss it in your post?

If you haven't sent me a label yet, please do so... I'll be shipping out tomorrow

Glad to see you've released your whitepaper... Hopefully you are getting good feedback from reviews.

Hey Canary -
Thanks for the group buy!
Any thoughts on the current leadtime? I mean if I were to order today will it be a week out or more still?
TIA!
That's a question for ASICMiner. They have posted some info regarding shipping delays etc... on their threads. I can tell you that once inventory arrives it's shipped out in the order of payments. thanks

Thanks Philipma1957.
My next question I guess is hard to answer since these aren't in the wild yet but what RaspPi image will work best with these?
I used RASPBIAN (Debian Wheezy) and then compiled cgminer with --enable-blockerupter. The default speed is --bet-clk 23 (which will run the prisma at 240 Mhz). On a tube, you need to set it to --bet-clk 26. I will be putting out a packaged version of cgminer 4.7.0 for Rasbian as soon as we can get the bugs in the build system ironed out. I do not know if I will be able to back port to wheezy or if they will only be early builds for Jessie. I have a working package for Jessie now on Rasbian but want the official numbering fixes done before I let it into the wild. Just a heads up on the rpi with these. The rpi had to be rebooted about every 6 hours as the hashrate falls. Ended up moving all the miners to a PC and they have been running for days now without a reboot. Have had similar issues with other miners on the pi. I've been skeptical on Pis ability to handle tubes/prismas... I wonder if this is something useful however: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=843788.0

I'm an idiot. I was thinking a USB adapter was some sort of brand specific USB hub. GG.
I have a bunch of RaspPis laying around from selling off my old scrypt stuff so I'll convert one to run the Prisma.
While were on the topic though... How much you asking for a BE controller?
